hello hello hello.. u have all missed me.. i know lol

snoop - great to see u back!
speaking of santa photos, whos getting one done for their bubs? i have a feeling Mia will just stare at santa and then prob sream but ill take her to get one anyway.. just to add to the album.

Mia did good last night, she slept from about 11:30pm to 5:30am fed till 6:40ish and slept until 9:30am, i was proud. Spent 2 hours in centrelink today!!! my appointment was 11am and i didnt get seen till 12:45 and then to get told "come back another day"... grrr needless to say i wasnt impressed. Then Mia had her 2 week check up and it was all good. She is now 3760 grams (8lb 4oz) and 51 cm long and her hc is 36.5. everything else was great. Weight gain not real good but shes got another check next week to see how its going.

off to do a feed. mwah to u all!! xoxoox

Hey Allie- doing well here! James is sleeping well at night, generally goes down around 730ish and will sleep anywhere from 4-6 hours and then another 4-5 hours after that so that is great. Day sleeps are a bit all over the place - he sleeps better in his bouncer in the lounge with us so we have let him do that just for our own sanity! He is feeding well too now - we have minimised the spews by only giving him one booby per feed and keeping him upright for at least 15 mins after a feed.

Izzy is pretty demanding right now, refusing food, whining, throwing royal tanties...... and generally just being a toddler! My mantra right now is Ignore or Distract! I still have DH home which has been wonderful - its eating into our savings but it has been worth it for him to have time with his kidlets!!

Hollye - Izzy was scared of santa last year so we didnt get shots done but will definitely be getting them this year I think! I might take her to see him quite a few times before the actual day of the photos I think!

and hellooo to everyone else hope you are all doing brilliantly and bubs are behaving!! Off to rest while I can.

hey Tan, what a little trooper you have!!! I have been having a similar run with Angus...he has been going to bed at 9-9:30 for the night and will sleep till 2am will feed and will then sleep till 5:30-6am so I have been able to cope really well, he is an awesome feeder (and so hungry)

Angus has been sleeping alot through the day as well( a real novelty as Paige would never sleep during the day...at all!!!)..in fact he's been asleep since 5:30 so I am wondering if tonight might not be so cruisey...guess I'll find out in due course.

I tried waking him up the other day so he could have some awake time before night time sleep but he really wasn't keen on that idea, got cross with me and stayed asleep just kept pulling grumpy faces each time I tried to wake him up.

Angus has gone from birth weight of 9lbs 2ozs to 9lbs 10 ozs in just over a week (I would hate to see what he weighs now, but he is obviously getting the good stuff, he is such a great feeder, so much easier than his sister.

DH has the rest of this week and next week before he goes back to work am starting to get a little nervous about doing the single mum thing for the 5 days he'll be away but I am sure it will work out just fine.

I had my first bout of mastitis on Friday last week but luckily got it sorted quickly and am feeling back to normal.

no other news, just enjoying spending the days at home with my children, will have to think about how I am going to venture out soon I guess

had the Family day care association lady call today so I can start to get stuff organised I won't have to return to my job at the end of Maternity leave, doesn't sound like it will be too hard to get started and I am soooo looking forwards to being able to stay home with my babies this time around.
well love to all I am off to have a rest in case my little man decides to keep me up tonight.
    Allie, Paige and Angus xxxxxxxxx

    Hi all,

We had the MCHN visit yesterday and Logan is back to his birth weight in just over a week (4.34kg). He has put on 390g since last Wednesday - a big guzzler like Angus it sounds like!! Our nights are a bit varied, last night he was waking 4 hourly but the night before he only woke once which was great. He is such a noisy sleeper - grunting and snorting so I wake up thinking he wants a feed but he is asleep. I imagine I will get used to it.

We started using cloth nappies today, as we are almost out of the newborn disposables that we were given. It seems to be going ok so far.

Hollye - You poor thing waiting for so long and still having to go back at Centrelink!!! How frustrating.

Blizz - good luck with the family day care, sounds like a great idea for you.

    Hello Everyone!

Just thought i would pop my head in and let u all know that things are getting slightly better - and im not so hormonal and emotional anymore!
Bianca still has her screaming the house down session everynight from 1800-2200 - for whatever reason - than settles and sleeps until about 0200, and back up again at 0430 - and sometimes goes back too sleep and other times dosent! so she isnt the best sleeper! not looking forward to when DH goes back to work!
During the day she is the perfect angel!
Just her and I are going for a day of shopping tomorrow - should be interesting! im very much looking forward to it tho!

Anyways thanks for all ur support and advice when i was going thru that rough patch!
I was very dissapointed in myself for how i handled things - but cant change that now!
no more sooking from me tho!

didi - im BFing with one top up feed atm at the 11pm feed. Still struggling here too sweety. Good luck. The idea of boiling water.. washing endless bottles etc doesnt sit well with me at all. If we have to change to that tho, then so be it. we can bittch about it together!!!

HJ - u werent sooking hun.. u are doing what we are all doing!! Its going to take a whole lot more then 2 weeks to adjust. Take ur time, u will be right. Bianca is gorgeous! Yeh i think ALL babies have that time in the day where they just go feral and there is no reason for it. Mayb she likes the sound of her own cry? lol. sometimes i think the constant screaming is Mia's way of making me go crazy but when it stops i know its not. At least she doesnt talk back...yet. lol. oh look at what we have to look forward to!! mwah xoxoxo

doing alright here. Me and Mia went shopping today and got some (well 63) photo's developed. and we brought some PJ's for her. I got her 2 pj outfits for $12! Kmart has a sleepwear and footwear sale on atm.. buy one item and get 60% off the 2nd item! i was stoked. Mind.. u one outfit had $13 on it and scanned for $10 and the other had $8 and scanned for $5 and then the 60% came off on top! Bfing still plotting along.. its seriously doing my head in tho. Fingers crossed its going to get better.

    mwah xoxoxoxo

Hi Didi - I'm bfing Logan, all is ok at the moment which is good.

Hollye - we went to Kmart yesterday, and I agree that the sale is great. We got a few little 000 outfits for Logan as he has been in those since he was born. Skipped 0000 altogether!!

How are your bubbas coping with the heat? I am so thankful that we have central cooling, it makes things much easier. I am thinking that I will have to turn on the car a few minutes before we go out with A/C on so that the car cools down before putting him in. I don't want to overheat him in a boiling hot car.

oh the heat.. Its great when we are inside coz of the cooling but going out is horrible in the heat. Next time im ready to go out im going to go run the car for about 10 mins or so just to cool it down abit. A car sitting in 32 degree heat would be about 40 inside. I get really worried about Mia in the heat. Seems we had our bubs a little too late it enjoy the great weather we had at the start of october. Nice and sunny 22 degree days would be nice!

Mia is mainly in 0000's now but they are still a little big on her. Some of the 00000's still fit her tho i dont have very many. She is 8lb 4oz now

Hi everyone! Hope you are all doing super well!

Didi- I am breastfeeding hun and it does get easier although at the time I know from experience it doesn't feel like it will.... I had pain in one nipple for no known reason until 4 mths with Izzy and nearly chucked it in but we worked through it and it all got better and I fed her until she was 11 mths old and would have kept going if I wasn't back at work and pregnant!

Allie - I hope you got all your mat leave stuff sorted hun and bummer about the mastitis I hope it clears up fast for you.

HJ -Im glad things are better hun and keep your chin up and do whatever you can to get through the witching hour = try bathing her at the time she's screaming etc.... to you.

Kylie - Yay for the cloth nappies and weight gain! I have a little giggle at times at how HUGE my little man was when I hear you ladies telling us what weight you are up to! Such a boof man! No wonder I was HUGE at 2 weeks overdue! I am wrapping out wee man in a muslin wrap at night with just a nappy and singlet on and he was ok. I think I will put a fan in there over summer to circulate the air but not on him. It's so hard to know what to do - I had the opposite with Izzy because she was born in May!

Hollye - Hang in there with the feeding hun you are doing a brilliant job! I need to get some photos developed too! I got them done monthly with Izzy and but I am waaay behind on hers and need to get them done from around Feb I think - eeeek! Hot here too! I am hoping the change will come through soon! We have the a/c on but it doesn't reach the bedrooms at night!

Fussyboots - Great story hun! Well done!

Well Im off to do some housework while I can! Izzy is eating "tanas" and James is asleep in his bouncer (of course). We had another good night last night - he slept from 730 tl 230 but MAN my boobies were sooo sore. I know I shouldn't complain and Im not but whoa mama!
Hugs to you all and your gorgeous little ones!

Didi yep still b/fing here as well, I think I've got better with each bub, Cody I b/fed until 17 and half mths, but I stopped so that I could TTC again as I'm one of the lucky ones that can't get pg until I've fully stopped. I think my hardest bub to feed was Lockie(DS2) I only fed him 15 weeks as he was feeding every hour and I was exhausted and was at my wits end so comp fed with one bottle of formula and he wouldn't take the boob again I was devasted but obviously he was starving and the bottle was better for him.

Tan things are going great for me and Julian, he seems to be doing the sleeping from 6:30-7pm til 1:30-2:30am and then sleeping until about 6am again which I'm finding great. I totally understand the sore boobies after such a long break.

I got Julian weighted yesterday and he's now 3820g, he was last weighted on discharge on the 19th of Oct and he was 3310g so in just over 3 weeks he has put on 510g. His little head is only up 1cm at 34cm and he has grown 4cm since birth and is now 54cm. All is going well and I've noticed that he's starting to have more awake time which is nice as he's always smiling and yesterday he's started to make gooing noises, which is always cute
