Hollye that sounds great! I'll try to pick some up tomorrow. Wow, only 1 hour...imagine that....
He's latched on and fed 'sans-sheild' again a couple of times today which is encouraging. He gets frustrated after a bit though and just wants what he's used to. But it feels like we're actually moving to the reality of being without it.
The breast he seemed to be getting nothing from this morning, he did the same thing with today. Buuuut, I noticed that side had deffinitely been leaking quite a bit (sorry for the mental picture). I haven't tried reading up on it yet, but do bubs sometimes refuse just one breast for any reason?

I'm not actually too worried about the insurance. It's a pretty small town and I'll only be doing short trips. One of the MW's in hospital had mentioned the 6 weeks. I might call just to make sure so I at least know where I stand (not planning on any accidents though ). As far as being physically able I know it shouldn't be an issue.

Did anyone notice it's nearly Christmas? Where did that come from???

1stbub - Mia cracks it ALOT at my right breast. Its bigger than my left and when its full she cant latch on properly and keeps pulling herself off. This might be why. Once bubs got a good mouthful of breast, u will find he will stay on there.. Just keep pulling him off and putting him back on, shape your nipple a little bit (with thunb and index finger) to help him get a good mouthful. HTH

    hi all,
haven't made it in much DH and I are making the most of the last week and a half before he goes back to work.
Angus is great as is Paige, feeding is going well, still need some practice at getting out and about with two children but I guess I'll be getting heaps shortly!!!!
no other news just thought I'd touch base.
I have a friend who is going to do some family portrait photos in a couple of weeks time, I am also trying to work out my new print master program so I can make a calender for family members and also make my christmas cards.
does anybody have an idea of a christmas card photo I could take of a two year old and a bubba?
