Hi everyone.. i am getting Jorda's shots here in Canada... same thing.. just would rather get them done sooner then later... so its ok.. I never freaked out when Ben got them.. so i am ok..

Snowing here like crazy.. but so fun.. Ben has a snowsuit and boots etc..
And Jorda is so cute in her little snow outfit and hat .. so fun..

I have been shopping like crazy.. but need to stop as my friends here are having a baby shower for me next sunday.. so nice of them.. and here in Canada.. there is kinda a silent rule.. that people spend anywhere from 50-100$.. which i think is a lot.. so we will get tones of stuff... Which i need as the dryer here at the hotel(since my parents house burnt this is where we are living) ate all Jorda's clothes.. holes in all of them and oil spills on them all. I WAS DEVASTATED as it was all newborn small stuff that is now wrecked....

Anyways i hope everyone is well.. hang in there...
I did the control crying with Jorda for 3 nights and she is sleeping through from 10pm till 6-7am.. I Am loving it!!!!!!

didi - what bliss at night to have Jorda sleep through!! How annoying that you have to get all new clothes, I don't like driers but i imagine where you are they are a neccessity. How exciting having a baby shower - how are you going to get all the pressies back home to Australia again??

HJ - night shift, I don't envy you that position. I grew up with my dad on nightshift his whole life. Hopefully Bianca will be sleeping better at night for you by then.

OMG - I can't believe it, but Logan rolled over from his tummy onto his back today. I put him on the floor for some tummy time, and within a few minutes he had rolled. He has pretty strong arms and legs, but he is only 17 days old. Very exciting - i hope that it wasn't a one off as i can't wait for DH to see it too.

I took Bianca too doc today - looks like she may have silent Reflux - so she is on Infant Gaviscon for the next wk too see how she goes - if she dosnet improve we have too take her back and they will try something stronger!
Has anyone else used Infanct Gaviscon on such a young baby? and does it work?

    hey girls!

Mia is now on 95% formula, just until i finsh weaning her off my breast as my breasts are having abit of a culture shock and i need to tell them not to produce anymore milk and to do that i need to slow things down gradually. Anyhoo my story is in the breastfeeding bit on here. I have an appointment to go on the pill on monday.. ahhh good ol contraception.. speaking of sex.. what is that? somethin u eat?

Moving on... today has been the BEST day ever since she came home. She is much happier and its only the first full formula day! Its such a sigh of relief. i love being a mummy!

hj - that really sucks about the reflux. Hopefully that stuff works.. i have heard of it but dont know anyone that has used it. I have heard reflux can be very painful for a baby so fingers crossed it gives her some relief. so glad u went to the doctors! big hugs!!

yeh Mia's doing the "oh look mummy, i can roll this way and that way..." hrmm makes changing a nappy very interesting!!!! tho she rolls to her right more. I have to encourage her to roll to her right too. so she can go from back to tummy but not tummy to back. tho she gets her knees up already.. i think i might have an early crawler on my hands.

anyhoo.. gonna go change my milk drenched top.. lol..

Oi - Good old Collingwood forever they know how to play the game!!!!
Collingwood is my team! they dont suck - and here i was thinking u were a pretty good person with good taste etc...... hahahaha

It is a big relief going on formula isnt it Hollye? what formula have u got Princess Mia on?
I was put on the pill too dry up my milk also - but cause i was still bleeding from giving birth it gave me massive clots - so OB told me too stop them - was only on them for 3days and than stopped - i think my milk is pretty much gone which is a bit sad - only get a few drops if i squeeze them!
and yeah im not sure what sex is either! hahaha - not sure if i want too know tho!

Wow! Liam's not even making any moves to roll over. I don't think he even knows he can do it. He loves to crawl tho - DH holds him just above the bed (paralel to it) so his feet reach and he instinctively kicks and moves himself along. He loves it. And he's fast!

HJ - that will be great if the Gaviscon helps her. It must be a relief to have an answer too! I've heard really good feedback about the hammocks for bubs with reflux. I haven't heard of any big issues getting them to a cot afterwards. I was looking into them before DS was born. Actually, I got one, but it was SO WRONG when we tried him in it not long after he came home. I've been thinking lately I'll pull it out and try it again, it might be better now he's bigger.

Hollye - What's bringing you up this way? That will be great! You know I just moved here a few years ago from Shepparton - are you stalking me??!! What sort of work is your DP after?

I'm still weighing up the BF vs Bottle thing. I just feel like such a cheat. I still have plenty of milk, but is it worth it? At the moment I feel like he just puts up with it until he gets to the bottle which is what he really wants. Anyway, I'll be calling the ABA today.

Oh, and um, sex is something that's interupted...just like everything else...
