Georgi - we are the same with having to travel for baptism - but ours is now locked in 8 hours drive away for 19/04 - catholic. We had a baptism yesterday actually and DH & I were godparents - it was lovely.

Re what PP said about sleeping, they do change all the time. I a surprisingly not as worried this time around with Zander's overnight unpredictability - with Riley after 3 months I refused to feed him overnight BUT I was picking him up at 10.30 for a rollover/dream feed AND he still woke anywhere from 5.30 - 6am and fed and was up. SO I figure this way I go to sleep earlier (usually around 10), get up around 3 - 4 for 20 mins, and get back to bed until usually around 6.30 - 7 depends on who is up first and if DH is home.

Zander had another 4 nights sleeping through, but has woken teh last two nights for a feed again - I know it is not just for company cos when he is feeding it is a really decent one - 5 mins of systematic swallowing

I am so sick of washing Feeling blue today cos it feels like groundhog day - same thing over and over. Do washing, hang it out, bring it back in, fold it up and put away - oh look, another load for tomorrow oh goodie LOL. I look at all the other things I need to do - like box kids clothes they have grown out of, clean up the play room, and general stuff as well, it jsut all seems a bit overwhelming!

So - I am off to turn the slow cooker on - washing is on the line, and then have some brekky other wise I get to 11am and just looke for junk food ...

waht are these random questions with posts about? Have Imissed something???

heya, thx for all the advice. DP hasnt got depression or anything like that, mayb i shouldve explained myself a lil clearer. His little episodes has to do wih his habit, so when he wants to get some then he becomes distant & might get angry easily. He's slowly gettin better but its just hard when i want him to a lil with bub as i need to sit down & study. A screamin demandin baby is the last thing he can deal with in that state so i just push my study time back *sigh* TBH i need him to be better real soon as we're going overseas in march & dont want it to b a crappy time for any of us...

the other day i finally see how dragon looks like me, he looks just like me when i was little. will get ard to showin u the photos bit later.
we'll b headin upto adel nxt mth for mil bday for a long weekend stay. as i got exams jst before we head over so need to put a list together so i dont forget anything (also handy for our trip in march). A lil help would b good as i tend to overpack but we're flying.

PP - I use sorbolene for wet nappies and wipes for dirty nappies. Maya gets NR occasionally.

teru - Where are you going overseas to?

Hollye - One more sleep to go.

Maya's sleep has been all over the place lately too! For a long time she'd sleep from 10.30pm till 6-7am and then till 10am. Now I get her into bed at 9.30pm and she was waking at 4am then moved to 5am but would still sleep again till 10am. Then last night she woke at 2.30am! And then woke next at 8am. I'm used to sleeping with her till 10am (cos I'm not in bed till midnight), so getting up at 8am was a shock for me today. And I know it's not even that early!

At the moment Maya's routine changes every couple of days and I just can't figure it out!

Tanya - dont worry to much about keeping to a 'routine' at this stage.
I find from 6 months they are much better suited to sleep routines (for day time anyhow). With the night sleeps, when they start to roll and crawl they get very active and wake alot as their brains are working overtime processing all these need talents of theirs!

Teru - will he be open to rehab? Is there any near where you live? I mean i know it may be hard to have him gone for a few months but surely that is better for dragon than him having a daddy distant for a few years due to his habit.? Perhaps call your local community health centre and enquire? It is hard to bring that sort of thing up with DH so perhaps counselling might help?

SamiH - i havent found a random qn yet either lol.. Boo to ground hog day. I havent decided i wash only twice a week . Thats it (cloth nappies too now). And i have asked DH to help more with the housework which he is doing. So groundhog day isnt so bad the last week at least. It gives me a chance to cook and experiement with new recipes (which i NEVER have time for...) . But in saying that i can only do it mon or wed when DD is at FDC and it is just E and i at home to 'chill out' together

Georgi - the more time you give your recovery now means less complications! So yes NO HOUSEWORK../ esp if still bleeding when you are walking on it. Be a sloth for another few days! the house will survive - get takeout if you have to. It is better to be in a dirty house than to push things and have pain and bleeding and a prolonged recovery !!!!!
And btw - love BJ lol..

    Hi to everyone else MWAH

Well last night was a wonderful night. I was so proud of my little boy!!! He slept 8pm-6am ON HIS BACK!!!! The first time EVER!!!! i thought i will try to wrap him and see how he goes without tummy sleeping and SUCCESS.. i was so happy... and the first time ever he woke up talking to his rainforest mobile... awwww not crying!!!

I remember when ashley did that for the first time and it was wonderful!!! she woke up talking and laughing to her self and it is lovely to experience that again with E!.

But no sleep in unfortunately. Now Ashley is in her big bed she wakes up and totts into our room when she wakes... this morning that was 5am!!!!! thank god for the wiggles on dvd lol!

Well i am off to prepare some breasfast (yep takes mea while these days).... and dinner is Chicken Kiev in puff pastry. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

tanya- we're going to Hong Kong to take DP & baby to see my dad and all my relatives. We dont have any here in aust, just mum & my brother

PP- he's not into the whole idea of rehab, thought abt puttin him on quick detox but he says being on the program is enough. its really a matter of gettin it out of his head, which is more a personal battle. It's more of a want rather than a need iykwim.
re wipes, i use a mix of water&cloth, baby lotion and wipes. mainly use wipes for his big messes. im "determined" not to get anymore wipes when we run out LOL

Sami I hear ya on the ground hog day with clothes washing I have to wash everyday and have at least two loads everyday depending on what needs to be washed and if the boys have decided to use twenty million clothes for the day, I swear sometimes they are worse then girls.

Sorry not many personals, but I have read all posts.

I got Julian weighed this afternoon and he has now hit 6.1kg with clothes on and is 61cms long, he is right on the 50th percentile so an average boy, lol. I just had to clean an exploda poo went right up his back over all his clothes and his lamb's wool, OMG I had to hand wash his clothes right away and put the lambs wool in the wash. He also has torticollis, which is his neck muscles are tight on one side and that is his right and he can hardly turn to the left so we have a referal to see a physio.

Re wipes I use the woolies brand in the green pack.

    hugs xoxo

Amanda i thought Jack had torticollis aswell BUT has been checked twice now by 2 different Drs, and his neck muscles are fine, he can DEFINATLY turn his head both ways BUT prefers one way (was more prominent previously) and is much better now.
I have been ULTRA lazy in taking Jack to the MCHN..i just don't like any of them around our area..they are so dirty/dingy/yucky.... i take him to a chemist and weigh him BUT i know i should take him for a full weigh/measure...
