Amy_o - meant to say earlier, I'm so glad you're still in BB, we'd miss you!

Cheryl - it's so nice having you back around, and sending good luck vibes for V's weight.

Georgi - have fun today, and great on the the feed

Tanya - sounds like the vaccination went well, hope she has good one & you make it to MG.

Katones - I shouldn't but I did laugh at your post re arms. Don't you hate it when you realise in retrospect that you shoulda done something different? Anyways, hope you can catch up on some sleep... and I imagine Jack will never be allowed to have arms out again!!

Teruteru - good luck with the bumbo, love to hear how it goes. I'll send you "book" vibes too I feel for you having to study, I'd hate to be doing that now, so you have my sympathy.

My little man has been super grizzly the last few days. I have no idea why... but it's pretty humid here now, plus we had a fabbo thunderstorm this morning. My legs looked black and hairy, the dog was sticking so close to me (no, my legs aren't actually black & hairy!). Actually I do have one idea... we just got a bookcase for X's room (finally somewhere to put books & toys).. and so we rearranged his room and I think he wasn't quite sure about it all!

I'm in super-expressing mode today, trying to get as much as I can before my day surgery (to get my episiotomy fixed up) tomorrow. MIL is looking after X (at our place) with DH working from home (so he's there as back-up)... should be interesting I just hope it all goes ok. Plus I found out it's definitely $500 for the surgery gaaaaaah serves me right for going private huh!!! But on the bright side, I get my new PC on Thurs (YAY!) and I've got an appt for X with the paediatrician on thurs too - the MHCN thought he had a "clicky" hip on one side. So I'll pick the paed's brains re hives/dog saliva problems too.

So it feels like it's all happening... and I'm buzzing around trying to clean up a bit today cos of MIL coming... more fool me I should leave it messy and see if she tidies up - HA!

Ho hum that's it for me - hope your days are all improving, special to SamiH & Amy_o having bad days.

belfie - hope all goes well tomorrow - put your feet up now and have a relax and make all that good milk for your little man - still in awe of what a great job you have done with expressing

I'm just crap cos of mastitis - not full blown - just getting dizzy sweats now, so wonderful hubby picking Riley up from school cos Ijust feel safe enough to drive.

I feel like I have achieved alot though - cooked 3 dozen chocolate and banana cupcakes for him to take to school tomorrow cos it was his birthday on Sunday - reminder, need to change siggie to say he is 6 - booohoo growing up

    Going to bed

How's this for baby brain: I decided to go to mother's group. But when I went to leave it started raining so ran back in to get rain cover. Went to MG. Come home and saw my keys are still in the front door (which also has our car key on it)!!! OMG! I am sooooooooo glad we didn't get burgled!

belfie - GL for tomorrow! I hope it all goes well.

Sami - Hope you're feeling better soon.

katones - Sounds like it was a successful trip out. Maya fell asleep in her stroller on the way back so she's still in there now. Normally she wakes as soon as I stop moving it. But she's probably tired after her vaccinations I guess.

HI girls i have missed so much .
Sorry been busy and tired *yawn*.

Well Friday night went well had yummy thai dinner and a bottle of bubbly lol. As you can see from the FB pics for some of you. I got home about 1am (i left early) and got about 4 hrs sleep before DD woke up

Ethan took about 100ml of the bottle that night at 7pm - threw it up and then didnt feed over night, he woke at 6am - DH tried to give hima bottle - he refused all but 40ml so i had to stretch him as far as a could to BF him. Lucky i stopped drinking at 11pm so by 7am it would have been fine.

But yep he is refusing the bottle again. which i am not devestated about, as it is nice that he wants the boob again. but has been cluster feeding. Sometimes feeding 2 hrly andothers not hungry for 4hrs. but that is fine.

I got a hippopotamus swaddle and it is great - although he still manages to get out of it! go figure. But he woke twice last night and i re swaddled and settled with a dummy. it has beenabout 3-4 nights i have not fed him until 630 . He will wake every now and then but is haoppy to settle without bb's so i figure he cant be that hungry!.

I have E booked in monday for his needles while DD is a FDC. I am also booked in for a womans check (i havent seena dr since E was born). they are just too $$ and we cant afford it right now.

On the exciting side i got a brand new deep fryer from my rewards points on my credit card. (its nice to get something for nothing).. very exciting - cant wait for calamari!! mmmm.

    Otherwise. All good here *mwah*

Well obviously RENSTAR didn't make it to my place today I decided to stay home all day. Wanted to make sure BJ fed & slept properly. We got through the day ok.

Dunno if any of you have seen my comment on FB today, but I tell ya, it's amazing how us women get together to support each other. I think it's great that when it comes to being a mum, everyone is so understanding.

BJ fed for 30mins before bed tonight So I'm very happy He did feed earlier than usual (6.15pm) so i'm not expecting him to sleep through tonight. I'm gonna go to bed soon so won't be able to dream feed him. Am just assuming i'll be up around 4am.

Oh.. BELFIE I hope all goes well for you tomorrow *hugs*

I knew he wouldn't sleep through but I didn't think he'd want a feed at midnight, 4am & 5.20am. WTF? I have a newborn again. I guess all these days of not feeding properly has caught up with him. Now I have an exploda poo to go with it

    morning ladies...

    just a quick question...

for those of you who FF...how many mls is your little one taking? Jack is taking 200/210mls a time (it goes up to 210mls when made up) and drinks the lot ) BUT now he is 4 mths (by weeks not date) i tried the next lot up which is 250mls before adding powder..i added the powder made it up...and he just left too much for my liking. When did your little one drink the next amount up?? if you all get what i am trying to say?? it just seems like a huge leap from 200-250mls...
little man was in his straight jacket last night slept from 9.30pm til..well now he is still sleeping, had a feed at 6am (is basically a dream feed) woke him, he was 1/2 asleep then he finished his feed and straight back into bed asleep

katones - my DD only ever drank 150 - 180 mls tops - she never got past 200 so I stopped making the bigger bottles cos I was wasting so much - I put her on FF at around 4 months - hope that helps.

Georgi - just when we have them figured out hey - Zander feeds like crap before bed - he feeds around 6pmish which I have tried to change by moving sleeps etc etc, so then when I want him to top-up at 7ish, he doesn't want it and just wants to go to bed he is feeding fairly consistently around 4 - 5am for the past 2 weeks.

I am sick of all the probs I have with BB - cant log on, then interrupted, then database errors for the whole day etc - *sigh* not my server either cos I can do other stuff.

Zander has his needles this arvo, BBL hopefully. Need coffee

    thanks samiH
he is a little piggy BUT i highly doubt he is going to drink 250mls+...he gets through his 210mls just fine now...couldn't expect the poor little man to drink 250mls 4-5 times a day....
teru..i got onto maz about the bumbo although am watching afew on ebay at the moment...

SamiH - its BB's server. they have out grown the other one. Be patient, it will be fixed one day.

Now Mia is back to normal she drink about.... 150-200mls 5-6 times a day. she is 4 months by weeks next week and there is NO WAY she would do 250 mls!!!!!!!!!! stupid tins! i dont think she will ever do that.. mayb @ 9-10 months.. if im lucky.

Katones~~ I still have Bethany on 180ml water 3 scoops, she should be heading up to the next level which is 240mls water 4 scoops total 260mls bottle. So I would need to change her to a faster flow teat, too much to have in the number 2 teat she has now but for now she seems happy with what she is having, each day or so I try a larger bottle and she finds it overwhelming. I figure she'll tell me when she wants more tucker

ive still got Mia on the 2 month old flow teats.. shes drinks way too quick and i dont think she has earned the 3 month ones yet lol

Also, u always go by what is made up after formula is added. I asked my MCHN again last week and she confirmed it again for me. And so did my pead.
