Georgi - That's great that BJ is feeding again. I hope he ramps up his feeding soon and then goes back to sleeping through the night for you.

Maya prob only had 3 OK feeds yesterday. I kept trying to feed her other times but she just would turn her head away. It was so frustrating. At her before bed feed I got fed up and decided to put her down for a sleep, but she wouldn't go to sleep. Finally after an hour of trying to put her to sleep I tried feeding again and she had a good feed. Ah well.. at least she did eat a good amount in the end.

Then at 3am she started squealing and DH and I bounded to her. She had a fever poor thing. I tried feeding and she drank a lot! Gave her some paracetamol. But it took a while to get her to go back to sleep! Finally she went to sleep around 4.30am! And slept till 8am and had another good feed. So at least it's two good feeds so far today! Hope she keeps it up!

Her sleeping is terrible though!! I've been struggling to put her down for a sleep this morning and finally have her lying in the lounge with me, hoping she'll calm down for sleep!

I have mums and bubs yoga this afternoon. First class.

home again from my having my episiotomy scar tissue removed & re-stitched (is re-episiotomied a word!?) anyways... all went well. Down south feels like it's been trampled by a herd of wild stallions ho hum - but not too bad I guess.

MIL & DH looked after X - and that went really well thank goodness. Plus MIL is coming around the next two days to help look after him. I'm really trying to be good re not lifting stuff so hopefully it heals better this time.

Incidentally X is still on his newborn teat - looked at me like "what the???" when I've tried him with different ones. Also, the amounts he'll take vary massively. He averages 230 ml, but occassionally does 260-270 or 200. He is actually taking less on average now than he was a few weeks ago. I figure like us, sometimes you have hungry days and sometimes not. Even though I guess that doesn't help when you've gotta make up a set amount of FF!

Better the money be spent on us the citizens that live here then have a massive surplus like with liberal. Anyhoo just my 2cents. Would rather do something with it than have it sit in a giant bank account somewhere. Besides, people spend and my DH who works in retail job is a little safer and that makes me feel better )

Hi girls sorry I haven't posted much lately, I've been reading though, just haven't felt that I can add much and have been trying to keep the house a little tidier, lol.

Julian has started to blow raspberries now as well as poking his tongue out, it's very cute. I had a great day today, I went for a visit over to PP's house and the kids had a wild time playing together. Hopefully I'll make a bigger effort to post so that I don't get so far behind.

    hugs xoxo

don't you just love the raspberries?? Jack does it when he has his dummie in...so the dummy flies out...then continues to blow the raspberry and spit everywhere.

SAMI I guess you knew that they change just as you figure them out. Having the 2 other kids. I let it stress me too much, rather than just go with the flow. I like routine. I still do my best to keep him in it, but I have decided to relax about it & just do what he wants.

TANYA How was Maya yesterday? BJ was fantastic. He fed & slept really well. How was mums & bubs yoga? I have ours today at 11am. Last week BJ just cried the whole time cause he was tired & he just won't sleep unless he's in his own crib So I'm gonna feed him at 10.30am, in the car, before so he'll just sit in the pram & have his awake time with some toys. I hope it all goes to plan

BELFIE How are you feeling hun? I hope you make the most of your MIL being there to give you a helping hand

We had mothers group yesterday, which was nice. BJ woke at 12.15pm so I fed him then out we went. He never sleeps anywhere but his bed so I was prepared for that. Though he managed to nap in my arms for around 20mins. We got home around 5pm so I fed him again 30 MINUTES woohoo! But he refused to go to sleep. I kept him up hoping that he'll have a top up feed before bed at 7.30pm, but nope. So I put him to sleep & he woke at 12.30am for a feed. Then I heard him wake every hour after that. Another crappy night sleep for me! At least his feeding, so i'm happy with that.

HELLO to everyone else. Hope you all have a nice day!

I'm going to visit RENSTAR & Ava today. She mms'd me a pic & the gorgeous little thing looks so much like her daddy. I can't wait to have cuddles with her

OMG - I had such a horrible day yesterday. After my post yesterday Maya did the most MASSIVE poop ever. Totally filled her nappy, went all over her play mat and into the carpet! And at the moment the cat decided to do a spew just to add to the mess. Then Maya was awake from 8am till 3pm!!!! I just could not get her to go to sleep. She would fall asleep in my arms, but the minute I tried to put her down her eyes would spring open and she'd start bawling. So around 1pm I gave her some more paracetamol cos I thought maybe she was in pain from the injections! I still went to yoga with her cos I figured she could be grumpy at home or grumpy there. She actually did OK though, then fell asleep on the walk home. Then woke at home and screamed for half an hour until I finally got her back to sleep and she slept for AGES! After that sleep she was soooooooo much happier and not as hot (fever gone!). Phew.

Today she seems to be almost back to normal. I guess the injections really affected her this time!

Oh I loved yoga though!! It felt like an escape for me. I felt much more relaxed afterwards.

belfie - I hope you heal up soon. Love the avi. Specially the panda.

amy - Let us know how kindermusik goes.

Sami - I feel for you! I had a very similar time with Maya after these vaccinations! It really took me by surprise cos last time they didn't seem to bother her at all.

    Georgi
    - How was mums and bubs yoga? Maya doesn't sleep while out either. And she was extra grumpy cos she hadn't slept for HOURS yesterday. But she was actually better than I thought she'd be. She only lost it towards the end and needed cuddles. Her feeding is still frustrating me. She has some decent feeds, but mostly is only on for a minute or two. I keep being scared my supply is going to go down. Glad to hear BJ is feeding better. Can you get him to talk Maya into feeding better too? Oh.. BTW I read in Baby Love about breast refusal and it said that it can happen every now and then and last between 2 days to 3 weeks! And they don't know why it happens.

    Amanda
    - I haven't seen raspberries from Maya yet. It sounds very cute.

katones - What money? I'm thinking of trying gymbaroo too. It sounds good.

teru - I hated the idea of giving panadol too. It's the first time I've ever given it to her. But I think she was in pain and she had a fever after the injections.
