the initial setup of cloth depends on how much u get. i must admit that ive spent ard $700 by now but its enough to do FT, in 1 way ive overspent but we plan to have more kids so its worthwhile in the longrun. flats did my head in, & DP was kinda reluctant with them but he's k with mcns. work out whats best for u, but personally i prefer pockets
dragons been having a bit of baby eczema on his face, sometimes its good sometimes its bad. im not sure what to do except to put cream on it when i get a chance. he doesnt like it much but theres not much i can do abt it. just hope it clears soon
PP - Thanks for the BBH party suggestion. I had no idea they did that. I might see if I can find some mums interested in a party. The problem my DH has with the cost is that at the moment I just want to get a few to try and it's a lot of money to just try them if I decide I don't like them. But I've tried to tell him that I can resell them if I decide I don't want to go down the cloth nappy road.
kuraiza - Yeah it's doing my head in now. I can't get over how many different types there are! Plus some need covers, some don't, some need inserts, some don't, etc etc.. arghhhhhh I would love to just get a few of each kind to try out - but just trying them would cost me heaps. Oh and I've been wondering how many covers I would need. I thought I needed one cover per nappy! 3 doesn't sound too bad or too expensive.
