    amy - Welcome back.

kuraiza - Cute photos of Jude. He looks so much older now. As for crying out in sleep - Maya does that too. But I wonder if it's when she's about to wake.. and then doesn't actually wake.

I went to the library this afternoon and have borrowed Tweedle's book on sleep so hopefully it'll have some good tips for me in there!

Poor Maya has been doing huge vomits today. She hardly ever vomits and when she does it's always small. So I dunno if that means she's sick!?

csab - woohoo you are deserving well and truly - such a kind word to say to everyone

Well it made my day - I am trying not to go out of my mind with Z - he has been such an easy going bub - the last 2 days he wont sleep more than 30 minutes stint ( sorry yesterday mornng was his last good one - 2 hours), won't resettle, i know the teeth are coming, but shouldnt muck up that much - and for a change he is feeding beautifully the last few days I thought, house is much quieter now school/preschool started - maybe he is just missing the kids. I just dont know - i havent changed any routine, when he wakes from the 30 mins and has a hissy fit and i end up picking him up - he cuddles into me and closes his eyes again, but back in the cot after 5 mins he is crying again - i have always put him down semiawake so

any ideas i can extract from your brains ladies?

I know i cant beat myself up too much, i am giving him all the right conditions, right environment, I can't make him sleep - but frustrating cos I honestly cannot get anythign done inbetween school runs etc.

aaww SamiH - as you said, don't beat yourself up! You're doing everything right, I remember a post the other day about Infant's Friend, no joy from that? How long ago were his vacc's? I know X was really not his usual self for a full week (but I have a feeling that timefram has passed for Z). Hang in there, it'll get better... and don't beat yourself up if stuff don't get done.

X has just whispered in my ear that he knows what the problem is... Z doesn't have any of this Panda bedlinen! http://www.bubbablue.com.au/BubbaBlu...ne/362ImgA.jpg

    k must go sleep now!

hun thanks 4 giving me a big belly la ugh first thing!!!!

He was kind last night though - slept from 7.30 - 5am - feed - back to bed until just now I can hear him gurgling 7.40am.

See what the day brings. At least waking now he will tolerate the school/preschool run and be home to go to bed 9.30ish. phew!

Well since I have a bit of time on my hands now I will fill you all in on our goings on. Miss Bethany coped with the move really well, barely interupted her routine, She is sleeping in the own big girl room no worries. However since she is the only bedroom with aircon she has DH in there on a matterss on the floor for sleep overs each night!! I am fine with the fans I don't see the big deal....Anyway. Its great having more living space and not feeling all cramped like in the unit. Its also nice to look out and see garden not someone elses unit!!! LOL Most of all I love the fact that my carport is right outside my kitchen door, at the unit I was about 150 or more meter away from our garage, we had to walk around a block of garages and then up a path to our unit, imagine doing that in the rain with a baby and shopping!!! The beach is about a 2min drive, Bethany and I are thinking of going walking down there soon once we sort out our new routine!!

She is rolling over all the time now, still can't get back to her back though so when she gets sick of being on her tum she crys out!! She mostly sleeps on her tummy with the butt up in the air, so cute, she is also sleeping with her 2 snuggle blankets now. It is adorable. Pics posted in gallary.

Congrats to the RAK people well deserved!!!

Glad all the other bubbas and their mammas are good!!!

bigs hugs from Bethany and me too!!

PS Katones....Bethany misses her BF any new pics up I can show her???

katones - Jack looks like he's loving solids. When did you start him on solids?

csab & Amanda - I hope your bubs are feeling better!

Sami - How did Z go today? Sleeping better? Oh and I read up about white spots on gums in Baby Love and I think the spot on Maya's gum is a cyst, which is harmless. So no teeth here. It would be nice to have an explanation of her behaviour over the last few weeks though!

amy - Good to hear the move went well.

Hollye - I hope Mia's vaccinations go well.

    Hi to everyone else.

Well.. I've had a FANTASTIC day! And a good night too. Maya woke twice (as usual) but I was able to put her straight back down after the feeds and she would fall asleep on her own. Then this morning I got myself out of bed earlier than normal and headed to the movies - mums and bubs session - with my friend's sister and her 1 year old to see 'He's just not that into you'. It was so nice seeing a movie again though at times I was distracted with Maya. But gosh I am loving that she is taking a dummy now. I popped one in her mouth when she was getting grisly and she was quiet for the rest of the movie. Then we all had lunch together and with dummy in her mouth she had a snooze in her stroller so I was then able to do some shopping! And the best thing of all.. she didn't cry in the car. I am SO loving the dummy right now.

Tanya: Wlecome to dummy heaven. I don't know how you coped before without one.

Jude's been weird since his vaccinations 3 days ago, he's been sleeping a lot and today he's been quite grizzly. Do the effects last this long?

Kuraiza - with us the effects of the vaccinations lasted one week! Sorry - hope it doesn't last as long for you.

Tanya - wow what a lovely day, that's so nice! I've been meaning to see that movie... haven't made it to the movies since X was born.

Hollye - hope the needles go well tomorrow, and go Mia, looks like she's growing well

Amy - yaaay welcome back hun nice to have you back. I'm so glad to hear it all went well, and congrats to Miss Bethany on her rolling! X still hasn't worked out how to roll off his fat gut... and for a first today I found him asleep on his tum! I was so surprised. When I went to roll him back, he'd woken himself up and was most sleepy and surprised to find himself the wrong way up!

csab - that was so nice of you to say I'm good going my bookkeeping. The reality is I'm just soooo far behind it's horrific, but I'm adopting a very strict prioritisation approach - i.e. get this BAS done and THEN I'll start cleaning up the last year. Good luck with yours!

SamiH - hope Z behaved himself today. I told X to send him good vibes.

Katones - ooooh wow Jack looks so happy with his solids! Gorgeous pics.

Well my AF took a turn for the weird. Even though it started the other week (or so I thought) then it stopped after a day or so. And now it's started again. Has anyone else ever got this weird messy kinda start/stop bizo? Is it cos i'm still expressing?

I'm going to my first WW meeting tomorrow - feeling highly motivated at present (hopefully that'll last!).

belfie - AF could go a bit weird - i spotted on and off for a while, then had it for only 3 days. Who knows hey???!! WW - i would love to do that too - good luck, you will be a star - i need to do something where i have to face someone everyweek, not strong enough jsut for myself or DH Plus he buys me treats the bugger!!

Z slept well last night, had 1.5 hours this morning (after a resettle) but then only 30 mins and woke at 1.30 - and then when getting tired i ahd preschool/school run so home at 3.30 - whipped him into bed at 3.40 but had to get him up at 4pm for calisthenics until 5.30. So he is absolutely stuffed!!!! He went to bed at 6.45pm so fingers crossed ....

Oh, and I found a neat way to tell if teeth coming through - get a clean glass, put it in their mouths like having a drink and gently of course, push the glass ontheir gums - of course it will go whitish cos of restriction of blood, but you can see really clearly if there are teeth there or not - and Zander's aare definitely there!

Tanya - i sooo wanna see that movie - good on you for getting to it - the most exciting thing i saw was Bolt in 3D with Riley - but Zander was really good then a month ago.

gotta go - need some fruit for lunch boxes so sending DH off to market, to market ....

Anyway, on a different note. Jude was a nightmare last night. I hope that was the last of the immunisation effects. He kept waking up. I guess the one good thing about breast refusal and formula feeding is that my husband has no real excuse not to share the burden on a night like that.

Sami: That sounds like a good trick for seeing teeth, it's like a magical looking glass into the future. I don't think Jude will be teething for a while. But I just wanted to tell everyone that my niece had her top teeth come through before her bottom teeth, so don't forget to look up top, too.

OMG I am so super cranky... Miss Bethany had just had her 6amish bottle and had re settled and my mobile rang, (I leave it on over night for emergancies, old habits die hard it is from years of living alone!!) Anyhoo through my sleep eyes I gaze at the id screen......It is my younger (much dumber) bro. Calling at 7AM MY TIME!!!!!!!! Ok so that is 8am his time but I can kinda get it he runs one of the family motels (there are 2) so he is up and about but really come on people. I managed to indicated that this was not a good time for a converstation and hang up. But too late the damage was done...guess who wanted up and out of the cot and play time??? Grrrrrrrrrr. She is usually really good about snoozing till about 9 after that feed. Weirdest part, I NEVER hear from my bro NEVER. This is the first phone call in like months. And he had to make it a 7 frigging am. Well atleast I got the floors cleaned before it got to hot.

Amy I can't believe you are complaining about being up at 7am .... but i get how frustrating it is for bub to be woken. I leave my mobile on 24/7 still so you are not alone there .....

belfie - i wanna buy new cot sheets now but this being our last bub i am not allowed to as it is too extravagant considering we wont use them again and i have 5 other sets of perfectly good linen in the cupboard ..... men

LOL Sami it was more the fact that she had re settled really well and I could see a window of oppertunity for a little more shut eye.....just a glimer....Then BAM the glimer goes.....Also makes for cranky baby being woken...but she just had a power nap so hopefully she will be fine for the rest of the day. We have a funny kind of routine cause of DH's work times and all that, the fact that we just have the one too means we can be a bit strange but hey whatever works for us hey?? So Miss Bethany usually doens't offically start her day till around 9ish. Long story. Anyhoo. Life goes on and all that. Just cranky I missed my little lie in, I am so tried......and sooo sick of getting things fixed in the damned house!! LOL
