TANYA - there is a wonder cream - really expensive - buy it at the pharmacy about 15grams for $15 - but I am so sorry - I have been sitting here TRYING SO HARD to remember what it is called - ask the pharmacist - the tube is white with pale green writing - when Giselle had really really bad rash this was fantastic - one application before bed and nearly cleared up overnight - oh gosh I am so sorry I cant remember teh name of it .... but of course small amounts only - the cream is pale pink from memory - ARGH ....

Zander has not had any nappy rash at all so far (fingers crossed!)

Yay for some sleep - I dont have a set time as such for Zander - just when he goes into that deep sleep ... he has been down for 20 mins but is very overtired cos we have spent the arvo at a playcentre with friends so only 2 x 20 min naps I expect him to wake in an hour for a feed and play and THEN go to bed for the night.

Sami - Yes I agree it's hard to have a set bed time cos it depends on her naps during the day as to when she'll be going to bed for the night.

Amanda - Sorry to hear about your cat.

    I am soooo frustrated!!!

It has been a long weekend trying to make sure Bethany drinks enough. I think she is sort of on the midline, not enough but not not enough if that makes sense. She still shows signs of dehydration but they are about the same no improvement. She is cranky and demanding and I just want some rest dammit. DH has been doing as much as he can but lets face it they are convientely deaf when the crys start and by the time he goes "Oh what can I do??" I have already done it. Or he says he will do it in a minute...that would be a man minute not the normal 60 secs. Meanwhile she is screaming.
I am currently waiting for the health center to open so I can call and make an appointment with our MCHN, I need reasaurance or something...
I am tried, stressed and plain miserable.

    Thanks for the vent

    Hi girls,
I have been sooooooooooooooooo busy, all is fine with the twins they are 5 months know and it's getting really hard to keep them busy during the day. So we brought a couple of jolly jumpers on the weekend and they really like it. Lily my 3 year old just sits there and watches them jump and jump and jump so it's keeping the 3 of them busy. Alex my eldest started high school this year he is really enjoying it. I hope everyone is fine and big hugs to you all.

yes, but it is a steroid cream so only little bit infrequently - hydrazole is for fungal type rashes it stings like the buggery though on open/broken skin so I wouldnt use it if blisters etc

both my older bubs had HORRIBLE blistery NR and when the blisters burst and they were 'open' blisters hydrazole was used (and nope it wasn't fungal rashes that i used it on) it was teething rash, my paed told me to use it..it cleared up the rash nearly over night, never had any probs with it stinging my bubs bottoms

i understand, flip side of coin - it stung giselle terribly, so I wouldn't use it on open skin even on myself. Just giving Tanya both experiences so she can decide what might suit Maya better.
