Sami: My 1st full day out of hospital I had to see the GP because I had mastitis and he said I was high risk for PND because I have no support and I should keep an eye on myself because no one else can. At the health centre the nurse asked the questions and I said "yes to all of the above" but she didn't seem bothered by it, so I figured it was up to me to decide if/when I needed some extra help.

Well husband's back at work so that, of course, means Jude's back to not sleeping all day. Why does he nearly fall asleep when I am trying to settle him and then his eyes shoot wide open and he gets upset? And how many hours a day am I supposed to rock him/ sing lullabies/ stroke his head/ swing him in my arms/ walk around the house?

kuraiza..hun i am right there with ya!!!!!
i was yesturday about to rip my hair out...by last night i was a blubbering mess.. and was NOT about to have NO sleep at all last night...so Jack is back co-sleeping at night...he slept from 1opm last night till 6am
this morning he fed at 10 and slept til around 12.40ish..was resettled twice in that time and EVERY time i heard him on the monitor i went in and put my hand on him and he settled (didn't wake was just stirring) he fed around 1 and i have just put him down in his cot for a sleep.
I have just today resorted back to 3hourly feeds during the day...last feed at night around 10...so we shall see how things go...
i even rang Karitane yesturday..for some help.. and ende up in a blubbering mess on the phone with them...
