Zander - Xander says happy 12 weeks for tomorrow
I know! Where have our little babies gone already??

I've been busy but will try and catch up tomorrow - Zander has decided to become quite the conversationalist in the last 48 hours - I have this toy flower that I put on the strap on his carseat and now when he gets in the car he has a chat to it and coos all the way to school, very gorgeous and funny.

Hi Kat = my boy finishes school on Friday - dunno whether I am looking forward to the holidays or not ...

    More tomorrow,

Welcome Kat. I just looked at the pics of Dom and he's gorgeous.

PP - I agree that time with family is more important than money. That's why I am happy that he'll have an extra day off a fortnight. Though now it looks like he won't have to take the pay cut after all because he's needed full time. Ah well.. But I am so looking forward to having DH home for 2 weeks over Xmas and New Year.

Hollye - I hope Mia's injections go OK today! Hopefully she'll just sleep a lot afterwards like Maya did.

Yesterday was my last day of mother's group but we've organised to meet again on the 7th January. I'm glad it'll keep on going cos I need the social outing!

Tomorrow is my work's Xmas lunch and I'm going. I'm hoping Maya will be OK and will let me eat my lunch and talk to people!

    I have a question....

i went to our BIG chemist here and they have an early childhood nurse there... and she said to me she was concerned with how Jack holds his head, when i am holding him he holds his head back slightly... which has ALWAYS been the way he holds his head...
now all she said to me was she was concerned about the way he holds his head and that he was "floppy"
What should the head control of a nearly 9 week old bub be??I have now booked in to see our GP as i am worried something is wrong...
I told her we had a 6 week check up with our paed..BUT she still went on to say what she did...

ethans head is still floppy kat. BUt if i have him on my shoulder like i am burping him... he can hold it upright like a soldier standing tall for a few seconds.

But i put it down to his a a belly sleeper and gets 10-12 hours belly time a day to practice neck strengthening.

i think usually the head isnt head up fully till 5months... does that sound right?
