    Lots of chatter in here.

PP - Sometimes Maya's poos seem more pasty than runny but I think that's just when they have been in the nappy longer and the moisture has been absorbed. Maya is Breast Fed and sometimes doesn't feed for as long so maybe the green poos are when she's only had foremilk. They aren't always green so she must get some hindmilk sometimes.

amy - Love the stories. Oh and Maya isn't lady like either.. she eats and poos ALL the time. And she poos all day long and only wees at night time. I keep asking her to change her routine so that DH can have some pooey nappies too but she doesn't listen to me!

belfie - How was your work Xmas BBQ? Oh and Maya waits till I've just changed her nappy too and poos during the second half of her feed!

Hollye - How's your day with the ILs going?

katones - How'd the trip to the Drs go? I hope everything is OK.

Sami - Great sleep from Zander! Maya slept from 10pm till 6am last night (though I heard her for a bit at 3 and 5)! I wish I could get her to go to sleep earlier than 10pm!! I still don't get enough sleep cos it takes me so long to fall asleep!

That's all the personals I can manage right now.. too much going on in here!

I went to my work Xmas lunch today. I was worried about how Maya would cope and she did struggle because it was at a pub and very loud in there with music and all the people talking. Also I had to get her up from her nap in order to get there on time. So she was tired and hungry. I had to BF while there and I was happy that most people though she was sleeping not eating. So i'm getting good at hiding the feeding. After her feed I popped her in the hug-a-bub and she fell asleep with a bit of swaying from me. I would have loved it if she'd showed off her beautiful smile but she was too grumpy. But overall I felt like it was a successful outing and it was great to catch up with people.

forgot all abt it the other day, hav u ever seen poo squirt??
the other morning while DP was changin the nappy, dragon did a fart n a lil bit of poo went shooting out, we couldnt help laughin our heads off...
    AND THEN...
later the same day while i was changin him (was liftin his legs up) he did the same thing xcept there was more but we still found it funny
the 1st incident was funnier as DP wasnt holdin his legs or anything but the poo just squirt out. it was pretty far (ard 30cm) too!!

anywyz his poo is usu like smooth peanut butter xcept more watery...occasionally we get the green ones & the seedy ones...sometimes he can fill a whole nappy, it makes u wonder how much they can hold in their lil body. not to mention the big burps which they can rip out!!

I keep meaning to ask: How many feeds do you all do a day? And how long do you feed for at each feed?

I thought the minimum number of breast feeds was 6 a day and I've always been doing 6 or 7 a day. Now it seems that Maya only wants 5 a day, so I keep forcing in an extra feed. Sometimes she'll eat for 15 minutes other times the feed goes for 45 minutes and everywhere in between. It's just so hard to know how much she is actually eating!

    i survived!

At one stage i had my sister, her 2 kids (with 2 friends), my mum, my MIL n FIL and my SIL all is the same house. with me and DP thats 11 people!!!! omg.. how did i manage. Mia was fantastic as she usually is and gave heaps of smiles. She was GLUED to the TV today when Dora the Explorer was on.. oh bother! lol.

Off to the doctors tomorrow morning. Mia is still sick and has been for 2 weeks. Its not getting better and the panadol is doing nothing so off to the doctors we go. I just want her to have some relief. I was crying before coz she was trying to sleep and she couldnt because of her really yucky nose. I spoke to the guy at the chemist and he seems to think mayb she has an allergy? it makes sense as i have a very long haired cat and his hair is everywhere. Its sad to think we may have to get rid of him ill see what the doc says tho.

Apart from that shes been great. LOVES her new formula! This mornings she downed the whole 180 mls and this arvo she had about 150 so now wonder she starting to look like im giving her steak sandwiches!! As u will see from my pics in the gallery!

She has another MCHN check on monday.. im sure shes over 5 kilos for sure. Im thinking about 5.2 the little chubba.

KAtones - what did the doc say?

amy - pmsl.. u have way too much time on ur hands i fink! lol

    belfie - mwah!

wheres cheryl? anyone know? hows olivia?

PP - Once im there im going to come babysit ethan for you when ash is at CC and u are going to have a day all by urself. OK! i wont take no for an answer... mwah! xoxoxo

    everyone else - mwah too!!

Paed said to just give him smaller amounts (if thats all he wants to drink..) i suppose i am an obsessive mum!! he is gaining weight and has wet/pooey nappies so everything is going OK...
He drank (at 1 i thought i would try again) 150mls... at 6pm he drank (i only made up 120mls) 80mls... so we shall see how his 10pm feed goes.... he will drink what he wants to drink...

oooh my 2.30am mushroom cutting is catching up with me!

Xmas BBQ was good. Am stuffed now, so more later... and I'll change my sig back Sam! It was just soooo tempting.

oh and X feeds 4-5 times a day.. typically only 4 and the MHCN didn't seem to think it was an issue... was a bit surprised when I said he takes up to 250ml but when i explained re 4 feeds she nodded and said yeah that's fine... and he obviously looks fine so not to worry.

    to all!

Katones - yep didnt think it was anything to worry about. Mia has her days where she will be lucky to down 400 mls for the whole day. Its odd but they know how much they want. She had a feed at 9pm and she drank 170mls! but then again she hadnt fed since 2:30pm. She fell asleep at 5:30pm and i had to wake her at 9pm. She watching tv with me for a while ( i like to leave her upright for her tucker to settle) and went back down at 10pm. But it is true, these gorgeous bubba's do keep us on ours toes.

im off to.... um... wash bottles and get ready for bed.

    mwah xoxoxo

PP - true... very true... Hrmmm Nick and Matt can take a sicky that day i fink!

well Jack only drank 80mls last night BUT did do his usual sleep...10.30pm-6.15/30am
He then drank 120mls and went straight back to sleep
I have to keep track of his drinks over the weekend and ring our Paed 1/2 way through today to let him know how Jack is going.
Nappy was Dry this morning (but that would be because of the 80mls (he could have done a wee but it had dried??) obviously NOT a huge wee with only drinking 80mls last night...
He does have SHOCKING wind and the last couple of days been having poo troubles... but did a poo last night during his bottle..CHARMING!! but still kept on drinking hehehe
