    Hi Everyone

Just dropping in to share the news of our major milestone... At 4 months 5 days Tara mastered the art of rolling from back to tummy . 1 problem though, she still doesn't know how to get back, so floor time for her now consists of me sitting with her helping to try and learn how to turn onto her back. But a major achievement anyway.

Here is a video of her first day doing the roll Login | Facebook although now she does it easy peasy...

Yay for Tara!! They are so funny when they realise they've flipped the other way!
Tallarah got her shots yesterday and man, I love my Ergo! Between the Ergo and boobs, we had a non-event
And last night I had one waking to put T on the chamber pot, where she didn't even wake up OR do much of a wee, and then next feed in the morning. Nappy-less, dry and all of us well-rested! ECing is rocking my world!

Woohoo! Way to go Tara, great job!

Heavenly- a little white fluff ball, how gorgeous! Kittens are such cute little things. What did you name it? Hows the pain near your wrist going? Do you know what is causing it?

skybie- how cute is it when they find their feet? DD sticks her toes in her mouth at the moment, despite me insisting how disgusting it is! But if its not in there then she has taken to squealing really high pitched

Maya- excellent news about the needles! and the sleep . Sounds like you, T and ECing is really going well, great work.

    Hi to everyone

Were abit behing on milestones obviously cos she was 8 weeks early occasional roll from tummy to back but that's it, serenity had a nap in her cot the other day had to put her in asleep from the boob cos she kept crying when she was awake but she still fits in her bassinet so no dramas

WTG Tara, so cute!!! How is it going with solids?

Maya sounds like ECing is really working for you. We had needles on Tuesday, DD screamed the place down, it broke my heart. Does T like the ergo? I might try mine out on the weekend.

Heavenly glad the wrist is feeling better. What did you name your kitten?

LD sounds like your DD really likes those toes lol. They are becoming lots of fun now don't you think.

Ery how is the reflux now? Has solids helped?

AFM not much happening here, DD is never in the same spot I left her now. She still hasnt got the hang of rolling front to back so spends most of her day on her belly then whinges when she wants to roll over lol. We wont be starting solids here for a while, I am in no hurry.... just extra work and Ia m to lazy lol.

A big hello to everyone else.

    Hi Ozstar

Just reply to you about our solids adventure. Everything is going really well here, Tara now expects to get her solid food every lunchtime and gets very excited when she sees the spoon. She is now able to take about 30mls of solids and is loving all the different flavours being offered. I spent yesterday pureeing up potato, sweet potato and carrots for her plus she has been having rice cereal, apple, pear and a combination of different fruits. She doesn't seem to have had any adverse reaction to any of the foods offered and "touch wood" no constipation either.

I'm going to be interested to see how much weight she puts on now, seeing she put on 1kg last month and now weighs a good 6.5kg's. Oh, I've also had to go through and pack up all of her 00 body suits and all in one suits as they are too small for her now and get out the 0's (although they vary so much in size) but she can still wear all of her 00 separates so should still be able to get some good wear out of them.

Kelly sounds like Tara is taking to solids really well. I have just packed up the 000 bodysuits and washed the 00. I am guess my DD is around the 6.5kg mark too now.

DD decided to sleep on her tummy last night, she can roll both ways and lift her head well so I am not worried, plus I figure I cant really stop her. She has been a little sooky this week, not sure if it just needles or just one of those things. Still not much of a routine here, she generally has a morning and lunch sleep, if she doesnt have a big lunch one then she sometimes has an afternoon sleep. She does go to bed at about the same time each night though.

I hope everyone else is going great.

Oz, Iz does the same, she falls asleep in some strange positions! pretty sure she passed out on her belly at ur place!
it doesnt bother me though, like Z she has pretty good head control and can roll both ways.
How is everyones babies at grabbing things these days? izzy almost has it but is still alittle uncodinated

T grabs her toes when she's on the chamber pot! And holds my face with both hands, feeling it over to study it.
Not interested in what I eat but wants to hold my cups!!

lol Iz does that too, and when she's had enough of exploring my face she grabs it with both hands and guides it to her mouth! cheeky bugga trying to eat mummy!
She does it at feed times to, grabs my boob with both hands and yanks it towards her face, whilst pulling herself into it at the same time, which makes it look like im trying to smother her!

    Hi girls,

Ozstar - The new med - losec does seem to be working (hasn't stopped the reflux completly but much better!) She isn't spewing hardly at all now, just the silent reflux with pain!

Ella is loving the food aswell, has had rice cereal though she isnt a big fan of it, and pumpkin and apples. I just put them in a saucepan with boling ater and wait till their soft enough for me to mush. I looked at babies food at the shop and was shocked at the price for a little jar so will continue making her food and just keep the jars for emergencies!

Kelly - Ella is 6.5kgs but still in 000's, and a couple of 00's so she must be shorter if your packing away the oo's!

Skybie - Ella is getting more coordinated but gets frustrated when she can't get the toy to suck in quick enough!

Maya - I laughed at your post about DD studying your face because Ella just did that for the first tome today , she put both hands on my face and had a good play!

    Heavenly, Lily, Jen -

Loving hearing my lil gal giggle and "talk" so cute! Just started at gymberoo last week, she absolutely loved it and I am looking at it as a possible job opportunity for me too!

wow it has been busy in here lately!
good to hear our bubs are discovering new things and giving us cute stories and memories.

ery hows the solids going, are they helping ellas reflux? i too am doing my own, i would rather know what shes eating and when it was bottled so i do my own, and like you have a few commercial bottles stashed just in case. shes eating pumpkin, corn, sweet potato, potato (not a big fan), zucchini, carrot, apple (have cut apple out now tho) and pear. i have cut her cereal out due to the constipation but will re-introduce it in small amounts when shes back on track.

maya glad ecing is working for you, dont think i could do it, it takes jade anywhere up to 15 mins to get a full poo out even when shes not constipated, and i dont have the patience to stand around for that long lol but im glad its working for you. sounds so sweet that she is studying your face with her hands, they are the best sort of moments hey.

skye i think i know that lady, she took some pics of mine too, gosh she does a good job!

oz zoe might be a tummy sleeper, dont blame her its so comfortable.

kelly glad solids are going well for you, and tara has mastered rolling.

    lily how are you going?

hi lj how is everything at your end?

    cam where are you?

jade loves her toes, grabs them whenever she can, and gets frustrated when you cover her and she cant see them, she looks everywhere for them. solids are working a treat on the reflux, her spewing has decreased significantly, not completely but a million times better. she's constipated, which the pharmacist informed me is most likely from apple as it has pecton(sp?) in it which solidifies everything in her belly, shes having some prune juice, its helped a little the poos are more regular but they are still hard nuggets. so will move to coloxyl if she doesnt improve today, poor little thing. she grabs everything in sight, goes cross eyed looking at it then jams it in her mouth. makes it hard when feeding as she likes to push my boob back, have a good old stare then pull it in her mouth.. dont think shes realised its attached to me yet.. also likes to grab a handful of booby flesh and give it a good old squeeze while shes sucking.
shes teething which has given us some nasty inconsolable screaming fits that last for hours, but other than that shes such a happy, gorgeous little thing. shes 7.8kg, so rather large but shes long too and in proportion. so mostly were in 0s with a few 00s still lingering. SOS is still working well here, so far we have slept through every night since 6 weeks, touchwood, hoping that continues.

hi to all ive missed, hope ur gorgeous bubbas are well.
