Maya my DS never had a tongue tie but we had a rough start BF, isn't it awesome when it goes so smoothly second time round. Miss Z attaches perfectly and now that my milk is well and truly in I am getting all those gorgeous milk drunk looks.

I think it is finally sinking in that she is really here and all mine, I just cant get enough of her.

    Hiya!!!

I have every intention of being way more active in this thread!!!

Just on day 3 of recovery from the big C...gosh, it's so much harder than recovering from natural! I'm really disliking not being able to do much...I couldn't even change a nappy until yesterday. DH is being amazing doing all the nappy changes, passing her to me for feeds, walking around burping etc. Yesterday, he gave me with a beautiful Pandora bracelet for 'giving him the best gift he has ever received'...so that was really sweet.

I'm chewing on arnica tablets and tissue salts like mad hoping to speed it all up a bit- I hate this level of dependency.

Still being in hospy is starting to do my head in. I can't wait to get her home but being here is preventing me from doing too much, I guess. We're going home tomorrow. Dh still has another 2-3 weeks off so that will be lovely. I'm missing DS like crazy. He's Dad has brought him in for a few visits but it's not the same.

As for Olivia- she's amazing. So far, she has been extremely easy. She's gotten herself into a very predictable 4 hourly feed routine...my milk just came in this morning so I've got my fingers crossed that she says with this for a while.

Not sure how I'm feeling re the delivery yet...very mixed...relieved but there's a whole lot of disappointment thats simmering just below the surface. I think I'll write a birth story...more for my own therapy than for anything else...love yours Maya.

That's it from me for now...sorry if that has seemed like a massive whinge!!!

Enoy your little girls...can't believe how many of them we have...

    V x

    Hi Everyone

Just dropping in to share the news of our major milestone... At 4 months 5 days Tara mastered the art of rolling from back to tummy . 1 problem though, she still doesn't know how to get back, so floor time for her now consists of me sitting with her helping to try and learn how to turn onto her back. But a major achievement anyway.

Here is a video of her first day doing the roll Login | Facebook although now she does it easy peasy...

Yay for Tara!! They are so funny when they realise they've flipped the other way!
Tallarah got her shots yesterday and man, I love my Ergo! Between the Ergo and boobs, we had a non-event
And last night I had one waking to put T on the chamber pot, where she didn't even wake up OR do much of a wee, and then next feed in the morning. Nappy-less, dry and all of us well-rested! ECing is rocking my world!

Woohoo! Way to go Tara, great job!

Heavenly- a little white fluff ball, how gorgeous! Kittens are such cute little things. What did you name it? Hows the pain near your wrist going? Do you know what is causing it?

skybie- how cute is it when they find their feet? DD sticks her toes in her mouth at the moment, despite me insisting how disgusting it is! But if its not in there then she has taken to squealing really high pitched

Maya- excellent news about the needles! and the sleep . Sounds like you, T and ECing is really going well, great work.

    Hi to everyone

Kelly sounds like Tara is taking to solids really well. I have just packed up the 000 bodysuits and washed the 00. I am guess my DD is around the 6.5kg mark too now.

DD decided to sleep on her tummy last night, she can roll both ways and lift her head well so I am not worried, plus I figure I cant really stop her. She has been a little sooky this week, not sure if it just needles or just one of those things. Still not much of a routine here, she generally has a morning and lunch sleep, if she doesnt have a big lunch one then she sometimes has an afternoon sleep. She does go to bed at about the same time each night though.

I hope everyone else is going great.

Oz, Iz does the same, she falls asleep in some strange positions! pretty sure she passed out on her belly at ur place!
it doesnt bother me though, like Z she has pretty good head control and can roll both ways.
How is everyones babies at grabbing things these days? izzy almost has it but is still alittle uncodinated

    Hi girls,

Ozstar - The new med - losec does seem to be working (hasn't stopped the reflux completly but much better!) She isn't spewing hardly at all now, just the silent reflux with pain!

Ella is loving the food aswell, has had rice cereal though she isnt a big fan of it, and pumpkin and apples. I just put them in a saucepan with boling ater and wait till their soft enough for me to mush. I looked at babies food at the shop and was shocked at the price for a little jar so will continue making her food and just keep the jars for emergencies!

Kelly - Ella is 6.5kgs but still in 000's, and a couple of 00's so she must be shorter if your packing away the oo's!

Skybie - Ella is getting more coordinated but gets frustrated when she can't get the toy to suck in quick enough!

Maya - I laughed at your post about DD studying your face because Ella just did that for the first tome today , she put both hands on my face and had a good play!

    Heavenly, Lily, Jen -

Loving hearing my lil gal giggle and "talk" so cute! Just started at gymberoo last week, she absolutely loved it and I am looking at it as a possible job opportunity for me too!

    Hey all

    What's ecing

Wrist feeling better was having a week of lower bank into hip and arm bone aching bit gone now

Were abit behing on milestones obviously cos she was 8 weeks early occasional roll from tummy to back but that's it, serenity had a nap in her cot the other day had to put her in asleep from the boob cos she kept crying when she was awake but she still fits in her bassinet so no dramas
