Not much happening here. Louis slept through again so very happy! He's a bit grizzly this morning though....He's got a really red cheek but there's no sign of teeth so not sure. He also has a bump on his forehead now too because we headbutted - hehe......
It's very quiet in here! I hope your all going well. Nearly the weekend - we're getting out dishwasher put in tomorrow if dh can sort out how. We've got to pull our cupboard out and stuff so we'll see. I'm sooo looking forward to a dishwasher!!!
Ooo Kristie yay on the dishwasher, we have one here and i love it, although i havent been using it lately hmmm not sure why LOL.

we got our new camera today, a canon ixus very flash looknig and takes beautiful piccies so i will finally be able to get some new ones up :) we are looking into a new computer too, as this old laptop is a bit slow and bulky and we have been using dh's work laptop but yesterday it's power adaptor decided to pack it in grrr, so back on the old one.
I gave Will some yoghurt yesterday for the first time ( i know it has taken me this long to get some for him LOL) and he loved it after he got over the intial shock of it being cold :) Not much else happening here...

Well Emma didn't sleep through, but she woke at 3:30am talking away. I walked in & she did her 'wow' face - it was so hard not to laugh!!! Really cute. I didn't mind getting up so much ;)
I'm getting my hair cut off this afternoon! :eek: I'm so over wearing a pony tail I've decided to go short. I'm excited & nervous!!!

Linda - It's nice when they have growth spurts and they have nice long sleeps and naps.
Benjamin has been waking up on and off during the night because he's got 2 new teeth that have broken through. They are the ones next to his top front 2 teeth and the eye teeth are on their way down too.:eek: Maybe he'll get his 2 front teeth for his birthday or Christmas this year...
Kell - Yay on your new camera. I know when we got ours, we went snap happy here.

Well last night didn't go so well. Up twice before she came into bed with me & DH got kicked out. I was supposed to do my 8km run this morning too, but only managed 4km, I think just lack of sleep affects me more than I realise, because I really felt like I couldn't go any further, but I should ahve been able to...

Well jess has had another tooth come thru. This one is out of order. Her two top front ones are moving down, but this is the top left hand side one (next to the front one). It's JUST broken thru the gum so.... Yay.

Don't get me wrong, I love spending all my time with the kids but I miss having him here and I miss adult interraction *L*
Kerrie - I know what you mean... DH has worked nights nearly all week and Dylan goes to bed at 6.30 so I sit alone on the couch wanting to talk to an adult! I have a big phone bill!!
Dylan got his bottom 2 teeth right on 6 months, but no sign of anything else since! I know the top 2 are there as they have been bulging for weeks, but don't seem to want to break through even though he spend hours gnawing on rusks and teething rings. I guess the'll pop out when they're ready.
Wish we had a dishwasher:angry: That's on the list of essentials for our new house. (Not that we're anywhere near putting ours on the market yet... still have to paint 2 rooms and rebuild the rotted pergola.:boohoo:

Louis had an unsettled night last night and it has started off this way tonight too. I've had a pretty good run of late so I was kind of expecting it to end soon anyway -hehe.
Kell - Yeah on the new camera! We've got an old bulky thing - we bought one when they first came out and it's a bit normal looking camera. Should have waited...
I sometimes warm Louis' yoghurt just for 10 sec in the microwave just to take the chill off it....
Linda - how did your haircut go?? You'll have to put a photo on emmas site so we can see it!! I don't blame you on not doing a big run after having a rough night. I hope you enjoyed your picnic!!

Kerrie - I totally understand that you want dh home with you. It's just a change of pace on the weekends with dh's around. Hope your coping ok on your own!
Donella - I'm with you on the big phone bill!! I spend way to much time chatting to my family. Especially as dh isn't a huge talker if it isn't about computers and cars etc....
For some odd reason I have a a sore lump in my right boob. I'm really worried as now it will be all night before Louis feeds on it again....He's been feeding as per normal so maybe just hasn't fed well on that side. Grrrrr.

Linda - Not sure what order they are meant to come through? He got his 2 front bottom ones a while back. The top 2 front ones have been there for a while sitting in the gum, and now the 2 on either side of the top front 2 are on the move. It's the 1 either side of the top 2 that have pushed through ahead. A friend of mine calls it cross cutting.
Kristie - You'll know when they come through or about too. Benjamin get's so irritable. He's been biting people. If you ignore him while in the lounge room he'll come over and bite you on the knee.

It's a beautiful sunny day in Melb! Louis and I are off to my mums today for lunch with my brother and sister. Will be nice to get out of the house! Dh is staying home to finish off a few things so it will give him some peace and quiet as well. I'm hoping to get to a park or something to give Louis some fresh air.
We had more bad news last night the my uncle has oesaphagus cancer....so now thats him and dh's Oma with cancer. I'm so angry/upset at the moment. Two great people. Not meaning to put a downer on things but it just gets to me that so many people get it. It's hard at the best of times but I've been lucky enough to not lose anyone that close to me so I suppose I just don't cope that well.....anyway.....
On a bright night - enjoy the day and the sunshine and make sure you smile today!!!!
Kristie - so sorry to hear about your uncle. I hope the treatment they give him is succesful. I've been through it with 4 family members - 3 of whom made it with flying colours!

WELL..... Yesterday Jordan learnt to CLAP HANDS :) He was so proud of himself he had the biggest grin on his face. He did it ALL day yesterday it was just the BEST.
We also have a 3rd bottom tooth which has broken thru and a top one which is nearly thru.
Finally we are all feeling better although we still all have the cough but feel ok.

Well we have had 2 bad nights in a row now....not sure what it's all about because she was going great for a while there. Oh well. The sun is shining here too & we're just having a quiet day at home. :) Oh - our beach trip was good too, Emma loved the sand! It was very messy, but heaps of fun!

Well we had a mixed day yesterday. Just before I left to go to mums I had Louis sitting on the bed with dh while I was getting a few things together. I was looking in from the hallway and dh wasn't watching him properly and I saw him fall from the bed! I was too far away to do anything but I yelled so loud! Poor little muchkin landed right on his head and just screamed. Dh felt sooo bad. I was ready to take him to the hospital (typical overeaction but it's the first time he's really hurt himself) but after a few minutes he was smiling and playing with his toys again. I got the biggest scary fright though....
Anyway, headed down to mums and the sun was out so I ended up taking Louis and my niece and nephew down to the park which was good. It was a bit damp but not to bad so I let Louis crawl around on the grass and he loved it!!! It was so nice to get some fresh air.
Linda - Louis has been a bit unsettled sleeping as well. Not as bad as he used to be but waking a couple of times - usually a couple of hours after bed and then around 5am in the morning. Not sure whats going on there but I agree with you on the patience side of things. My tolerance levels are very low at night now......I hope you can catch up this afternoon!
Donella - I'm glad to hear your clocks are wrong. I think you can go into your profile/settings section and change the time....Sorry to hear you've been through so much with your family - I'm glad to hear they are ok!
Tracey - Yeah on the clapping - thats great! Louis can do it but he doesn't do it much because he prefers to hit something instead. hehehe. Glad you're all feeling better.

Dh has been telling me I'm p/g but I really don't think so. I told him he's being nasty by saying it because I'll get my hopes up iykwim? I've got no reason I should be. No af and not even off the pill for 4 weeks yet. I might do a test in a week or so though just to rule it out. I'm so silly.....and then you start to imagine symptoms because I had really bad skin when I was p/g and my skins broken out etc. I'm hoping its just my hormones playing around and af is on its way!

No clapping here yet, but Will can click his tongue iykwim? it is very cute :) Molly has been being a baby lately too, she found a doll's dummy and she crawls around saying 'mama' wanting to be picked up all the time. I have been so busy and rushed lately that maybe she needs some more attention :)

Kristie - I usually crash on the lounge at around 8pm if I'm not in the room getting Benjamin to sleep and falling asleep with him by 8pm.
I had my first full night working in the boning room. I didn't finish work until 1am this morning. I got home at 1:30am mind you I had to drive at 60 - 80 klm/h because you couldn't see 5m in front of you because of the fog. When I got home, I had a shower, crawled into bed to feed Benjamin and crashed it at about 2:30am. Benjamin decided that he'd wake up at his usual time of 6:30am and I haven't managed to crawl back to bed since. Benjamin on the other hand has had 2 sleeps for me. He's going to spend some time with his Aunt this afternoon, as Dh and I have to drive to Brisbane for an appointment with a doctor regarding Worker's Compensation. I think I'll nap in the car...
Kell - Before you know it, our bub's will be 1..Got to get planning his birthday bash...
Linda - I had some of my pregnancy and breast feeding multivitimins yesterday, and that really gave me a pick me up. Are you on any multivitimins at the moment?

Louis slept through - thats the second morning in a row that I've been awake before him! He woke up at 8am this morning and 8.45am yesterday (he had late nights though) He's got gymbaroo this morning so I think he'll be all tired out for tonight as well hopefully.
Just when I thought things were settling down at work my sister told me last night that she can't have Louis anymore on Tuesdays. It's only a couple of hours but she feels like she's too busy to have him. I'm a bit annoyed really but it's her call...It just feels like one thing after another is going wrong at the moment. I know it's all kind of petty stuff in comparison to other dramas but I'm just over it. I'll work something out though....I definitely won't be putting him into care on another day as it's just too expensive to pay for a day when I only need it for a couple of hours...
anyway enough of my whingeing....

melissa,i dont know how you can manage,you are amazing.please make sure you rest though as it will take its toll on you doing night shift with a child,i did it for 6 months and it killed me.sleep sleep sleep when you can.

chantelle has learnt how to wave bye bye,clap and say muma.she is a sponge at the moment,she is mimicking everything we do,she has also learnt to stand up against my legs and the furniture,she is just so damn georgous.she has a maternal health check today to see if she is putting on weight,will let you know how that goes but i think she is thriving.
i had my first ever ob appointment yesterday.i am measuring at 16 weeks with fundal height.i am 14.5 weeks.i heard the heart beat on the doppler and i still cant stop smiling,i think i am having a boy this time and i do beleive i will be finding out.i have a scan this friday just to confirm dates again and a quick check to see how it is all going.i have not bled for a few weeks now so all should be good.dont think they will be able to tell me yet but i will ask if they can determine the sex yet.i am staring to get a bit excited now and have even starting looking at cots and twin strollers.time to go shopping,yipee!!!!
i went to DFO yesterday and bought lots of nice size 1 outfits for chantelle for next season and bought james some surfy t.shirts and tracksuit pants,he needed them.i want to go back and spoil myself so i think i will need to suck up to grant a bit.
chantelle has been waking alot the last 3 nights,we went out sat night to the casino and a friend babysat,when we got home at 2am chantelle was very upset,i tried to resettle her but eventually i gave in and gave her cuddles and a breast feed,so since then she has been expecting me to go back to our old ways and feed her over night,but i have not given in,i do beleive she will be much better within the next couple of nights once she gets the message.
anyway enough for now,she has just woken from her morning nap.

Hi girls!! Queensland was fantastic!!!!! It was great to be able to sit out in the sun and even have Tori get around in just a singlet and nappy one of the days. The wedding went went for was lovely, very simple but nice and tori was a great flying baby again, falling alseep as we took off and waking as we landed both ways! I can take this kid anywhere I tell you.
Today I am going to go see my old boss about getting some work. I really dont want to though but it would make it easier to save if I had just a little coming in! I wish I could have my own place and do family day care or something like that so I could stay home! Life doesnt happen that way though.
Well this is just a short one for me today, I am exhausted and tori has just gone down for her sleep and I hope to get some too! I think my birthday celebrations lastnight arent helping my head foggyness today! Way to much red wine was consumed!!!

Wow Nikki- congrats on your pregnancy! I can't believe how many people in here are ttc (or wanting to be...) I'm not in any hurry - I'm enjoying my time with Dylan too much! We're going to start ttc in around May next year.
I feel so guilty atm - on Monday I got home from work and had a go at DH about him being grumpy (he wasn't, I just had pmt!) Anyway - today I get home and there's ahuge bunch of roses with a card saying sorry he's not been a good husband or daddy lately! He's the best in both departments and I feel awful for making him think otherwise. I'll have to find a way to show him (but may have to wait till af has finished!!)
