Morning all, I hope the sleeps were good all round :)

Kristie - I hope you are feeling better today, funerals are always hard :( I left Will and Molly with a sitter yesterday too while I went out for lunch with friends and was missing them by the end of it. Will is having seperation issues too so he was grizzly without me and then wouldn't let me put him down when i got home lol

Tracey - hope the teeth don't cause too much grief!

Linda - Will is cutting down his afternoon sleep atm, to about 30-45 minutes too. I want him to have a short morning one and then a long afternoon one though, I guess they make up their own mind tho lol

btw thanks for the photo Kristie, it's nice to put faces to names :)
We have exceeded our download limit for this month (15gb - must have dowloaded more tv shows than i thought :eek: lol) so my internet is much slower than usual which sucks but by sunday it will be better thankfully!

Hi Kell :) Bummer about the slow internet! Emma has only had 1 day sleep the last 2 days, so that might start being 'normal' for her, which is fine. I might have to start giving her dinner earlier though as last night she missed it...

Is anyone finding that their cheeky bubbas are waking up super early at the moment??? Louis was up at 6am this morning! I fed him and put him back down but he only lasted about 20min before wanting to get up and play. Do you think it has something to do with it getting lighter in the morning?? I suppose we're only a month of daylight savings so not sure whats going to happen then....
I think I'll have to start going to bed earlier with him up so early or I'm going to be tired! I shouldn't really complain though because he even though he was a bit cheeky to settle he didn't wake up once through the night!

K - better get organised. I wrote a to do list this morning and I actually think it will take me a month to get it all done! hehehe.

LInda - I found with Louis that he might have two days of 1 sleep then a few days of 2 sleeps etc. I think it really depended on how busy we were in the day iykwim?

Ikwym about the housework - i have sooo much to do yuk! Yep both Will and Molly are waking about 5.45 6ish because it is so light in the mornings - they come into bed with me while dh has his walk which is nice :)

Tori is in the waking early group too!! Around 5.30 at the moment. She has been sleeping better though, has been going down around 9 and waking at about 12 for a cuddle (usually ending up in bed wth us) and thats it all night, Its great and she better keep it up!!

Had the weigh in today and she is finally putting the weight on again!! She has gained 300gms which brings her to 7.8 kg! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


Was so good to catch up with everyone the other day, Tori fell asleep before I had even got out of your street Tracey so I can appreciate jordan going down so fast too!

Linda - Hows the sleeping going? Was emma better for you last night? I cant believe she doesnt sleep long during the day either!

Tracey - I was going to let you know that the cheap gates I was talking about are at Toys R us!

Kristie- Can I have the photo too???? It looks great!

Woohoo!!! Thats fantastic that Tori has put on some weight! You must be relieved. She does seem to be eating a bit more when I've seen her!

Kristie - Emma's up at around 6am atm too.

Cindy - good luck at the interview!! That's great Tori is gaining weight again. She is a similar weight to Emma.

Only 3 more sleeps until Emma's birthday party! I'm starting to get excited! I'm more excited than if it were my own party LOL. I've been putting away little bits & pieces for months now. I've made up little lolly bags with a photo & message on them & a pinyata (for the oler cousins ;)) I'm going to do a donut eating thing & Brian has drawn a big donkey for pin the tail on the donkey (he used to draw at Disney - so he's pretty good :)) & the weather is forecast to be good too - Yay!!!!

chantelle has always been an early riser,she gets up between 5 and 6 am every day,i must admit though for me to be able to manage that i am in bed at about 8.30 every night.yawnnnnn!!!!!!

as for last night we didnt get to start cc.i fell asleep on the couch before i got to talk to dh about our plan and when she woke at 11 he had bought her in to me so it was too late.will start tonight.
well done linda,you should be very proud of yourself.you will start to see some massive improvments over the next few nights keep it up.

Linda - Ooh not long to go at all!! I'm not organised at all (surprise surprise!) I've got his pressies but I haven't organised anything for his bbq. I wasn't going to go to crazy with decorations or anything as we'll be in the park. Probably just a few balloons because Louis loves them. I agree - I'm way more excited about this than any of my b'days...

Nikki - Nevermind...good luck starting tonight!! I so hope you can get her sleeping well for you! I was in bed by 10.30 but it's just not early enough for a 6am rise....

Dh's workmate is going to the melb show so I've asked him to get a couple of showbags for Louis. The bananas in pyjamas and New mcdonalds farm ones are great! They have no lollies just lots of fun stuff! If he can get them I'm going to wrap everything individually for Louis' b'day and then I can start giving him presents early! hehehe. I so want to give him some new things to play with. It's close enough now that I can be cheeky. It's not like he knows I'm giving him things early! hehehe.

Kristie you make me laugh. We havent even started shopping for Jordans bday. But I know if we had I would have given him things already. Hope you are getting you TO DO List done LOL

Well today I met up with an old school friend, it was nice. She has never seen Jordan before and he was really good whilst we ate lunch. He fell asleep just as I turned into the main rd in caroline springs which is always the way but he transfered really well.
He has sucked his thumb red raw so I have given him the dummy so hope it will heal up a bit. He just loves his thumb.
Swimming went well, he is really enjoying it and plays with the other mums and bubs which is nice.

K - I'm having an early night tonight after watching Jericho. If Louis gets up at 6am tomorrow I'm going to put him to bed at 6pm!! At least then he'll get his 12 hours then...

Cindy - About time Tori put on weight, we all knew she could do it, it was just a matter of when. Well done mum!

Kristie - Benjamin has been getting up between 6:30am and 7:30am. Considering the little monster doesn't go to sleep until after 9:30pm some nights.

Linda - We are having dinner on Sunday with family members who are not going to be here on his birthday, and the rest we are getting them in to have a BBQ with us on the Wednesday night here on his actual birthday. The only catch is, that I have to make 2 cakes.

We had an OK night. I really think Emma is still teething though. She has a massive white spot where her front top tooth is trying to push through, it's protruding the whole gum but still hasn't actually cut yet, so ouch. I think that's why she's sleeping so badly.

Holidays start today!! Yay! So Brian will be home now - stoked!! We're going camping next weekend, & I have heaps of portraits on too, so it will be a bit of 'me' time & lots of Daddy Daughter time. ;)

Linda - Daddy time is always good for us, and them.

I finally got around to booking Benjamin into swimming classes. He's going on a Saturday with the Toddlers and mums group, only because the mum's and bub's groups were all booked up. He's meant to be in mum's and bub's but because he can walk already, they can put him up a class. He starts in a fornights time. It's $100 for 10 lessons.

What lovely weather we are having, hope you are all enjoying it where you are :) We are doing well, Will is getting cuter by the day, but he is really clingy atm and doesnt like to go to anyone else oh well... We are having a bbq on sunday for his bday with my family and a few friends. I am making a snake cake, which of course will mean nothing to Will lol

Kristie - thats what Will does bed at 6 then he wakes at 6, at least then dh anf i get some quiet time together b4 we go to bed.

Linda - ouch on the tooth, sounds painful poor thing!

Tracey - do you go to a heated pool, i spose it would still be too cold otherwise?

Kell - Sounds like most of us are having a good old BBQ for our kids birthdays. We are hopefully hiring a big number 1 cake tin from up at our local cake decorator shop. You can hire the tins for $10 for a whole week. You can get just about anything from sesame street characters, to barbie, to Bob the Builder and loads more. I just want a number 1. I just have to find a perfect recipe to go in it. I have contemplated doing an ice cream cake, because at least I know he'll eat ice cream. The cake I made the other day, he took one mouth full of and spat it out, and that was a simple butter cake. I think I'll just have to go with what I know.

Melissa - that's so handy being able to hire a tin! I had to order stuff from Melbourne to make Emma's cake (well, I guess I didn't have to LOL)

Kell - the weather is great here too - doesn't it do wonders for your mood!

What a day! I've been running around everywhere! I bought a few maternity clothes though and some jeans for Louis. Laybyed a new car seat and swing things for the new bubba and just when I was feeling guilty for spending too much money I get home and there's a message saying I've won a $100 David jones voucher for completing a survey for Practical Parenting magazine!! Woohoo!!! Guilt is completely gone! hehehe.
Anyway....Louis was really good being stuck in the car all morning but now he won't go to sleep....I think it definitely mucks him up when we're busy all day.
We're off to Bonnie Doon for the weekend. I wanted to go tomorrow but dh wants to head up tonight! I don't mind so much except I know I'll be really tired trying to get Louis settled later at night iykwim???

Melissa - Sounds like you've got it all organised! Now you just have to be able to kick back and enjoy it all! We're only having a really simple bbq because I don't want to stress. I just want to play with my little birthday boy and kick back and chat...Yeah on the swimming lessons! I think they're going to be so much fun! Hiring cake tins sounds great!!

Linda - Poor little Emma! It makes it a bit hard when you think she's unsettled because of pain! I know there are times when I've been unsure and you just can't cc then. I hope the tooth comes through soon. Holidays sound great! Ooh camping sounds like fun too! I can't wait until our chrissy holidays - we've booked in for Wilsons Prom so should be great!! It will be so great for dh to help out and give you some time out.

Kell - Wow on the snake cake!!! I'm just making lots of cupcakes and I'm going to put them into the shape of a "1".

Tracey- I was going to say that I think, like you that i have been putting tori to bed to early and not stretching her as far as I should. I find that she does go down faster if i stretch her some times.

Nikki- How are you going on the sleep front? Tori is a real screamer at the moment when I put her down but tonight it only took 10 mins for her to go quiet, its a record!! Lets just see how long she lasts in her own bed tonight though.

Thanks to all of you for all of your support with tori and her weight, I am feeling good that she has finally put some on but she is still in only the 5th% which sucks, I'm hoping for her sake that she ends up being long and skinny ofr the rest of her life!!

Well, M/S has been a cow for me the past few days, I am so bloody tired all the time and my poor princess isnt getting her run mum as much at the moment which isnt right. I went to the interview yesterday and all went well but for the above reasons I think I am going to call her on monday and say I dont want the job. I am going to think about it over the weekend but I am really feeling like I need to spend as much time with tori before the next one comes along! Granted the job was for only 1 day a week but it is going to lead into more within the next few months. I'm really torn about it coz it is my perfect job. Perhaps I can just ring her on monday and tell her im pregnant and see what she decides???? I cant stop thinking about it!

Hi all! Well today is the big day, 1 year old!!! I will need a new ticker as the old one says 'Will is old" lol i wouldnt go that far! We had a really nice bbq in the backyard, it was a really nice day and my family had a great time together - i of course was cooking, organising and generally busy but it still was nice :) Will was perfect and stayed up for so long without getting cranky, he got lots of great pressies and was fussed over all day...

Emma's party went great! WE had beautiful weather & it all went smoothly. Made sure she had a sleep in the morning. She was a bit overwhelmed by everyone being in her face so much & giving her presents, so cried a bit at first, but before long she was having a ball. In fact the party didn't end until 10pm LOL. Everyone stayed for the footy & we just ate & ate!! :D I'm exhausted, but feel really good that it went so well...

We had a great weekend away - I even got a sunbake for an hour while Louis had his daytime sleep! It was nice to relax and Louis had a great time. He started walking properly yesterday - across the room quite far! the PIL have a big living area so he could walk really easy but now we're back at home he's hanging on to everything again! hehe. Lazy little thing!

Cindy - Hmmm thats a tough one with work. I think you should still go for it because you're bound to start feeling a bit better soon?? Hopefully you've had some time to think about it.....

HI guys - Its quiet in here for having been a weekend! Everyone must have been busy!

I cant believe that birthdays are happening already! Tori and louis are next monday!

wellI finally got Tori into swimming lessons and today we had her first one and she was a star! She didnt like it when I tried to get her to crawl on the floating mat but I'm sure she will get the hang of it soon enough!

Well, on the work front I called the dentist this morning and left a message about my being pregnant and she just called to say I have the job!!! She still wants me can you believe it! I'm so glad I told her and I dont have to hide anything! I have to call her back later this afternoon to talk to her. I cant believe she still wants me, she must have called my old boss and she told her I worked right through the pregnancy etc. I cant believ I am going to be working again!! The money will come in handy atleast.

I must be off, will check in with you all later, have to take tori to the osteopath! I have noticed she is only turning from her back in one direction so I am hoping the osteo can help her out yet again!

congratulations cindy,what a releif that you were able to tell her and she still wants you.it must feel so good not having to hide it from her and she will obviously understand all the hurdles you will go through while you are preg and have a new born,well done girl.

We've had a busy day shopping! I'm so procrastinating on work...not very good. I'm even preferring to do housework than sit down and do paperwork - hehehe.

I thought it was meant to be rainy here today but it's another beautiful day! Summer is on its way! So glad I got an air conditioner especially now that I'll be super p/g at the hottest times.

Forgot to add - we looked at land while we were away on the weekend and somehow we've gone from wanting 10-15acres to 100+ acres. Hehehe. It was so hard to come home - I think we'd definitely be trying to move sooner if we weren't having this bubba!!!

Well alls well here. We have learnt a new face "suprise face" which is just gorgeous. He is also shaking his head NO NO NO. I bought invites for his bday today so finally organising something. Gee we are slack.
Cant wait for day off tomorrow. Heaps of housework but hopefully I will get it done early.

Is anyone giving their bubs the toddler milk? I was thinking of giving Jordan it in the mornings instead of boobs? what brand is good?

Tracey - I've just gone straight to cows milk when I don't bf. It's much easier & enough at this age. Emma has a wow face too - so cute!!!

Linda - Yay! Sleep is good..

Tracey - Benjamin isn't too fussed with any other milk but breast milk, unless of course the milk is flavoured.

Cindy - We start swimming lessons in a fortnights time. Congrats on the new job!

Kristie - 100 acres is a lot of land, I'd be happy with an acre or 2. I suppose in the end, you've got to weigh up how much space you need for what you're going to do or like to do with it. Think big!
