Kristie Sorry to hear about DH Oma, I hope he and the rest of the family are ok.
I am happy for you all to come over here if you like on Tuesday but as you said if Nikki has the boys it may be easier if we go there so I will leave it up to you guys, I am easy. (better not say that to loudly)
Cindy hope the job interveiw goes ok. working 1 day a week would be great when bubs #2 comes along. Enough to keep you stimulated and gives you plenty of time for the bubs and Tori. Also not a strain on who ever will look after the bubs, mum or childcare.
Just a quickie as I have plenty of housework to do (sad I know). We had Jordan commando crawling FORWARD last night..... I think he is nearly there. We had our mobiles in front of him and he pushed his legs and arms till he reached them. Not the conventional crawl but got there non the less.
I'm getting confused now - Are we meeting up this week or next? Shall we leave it up to nikki to decide what will be easiest?
Yay Tracey on Jordan going forward, thats fantastic!! watch out, he will be chasing you around the house in no time now!
Kristie- I have done some research and i think I am going to look at a private swim school thats in blackburn, its just a little lap pool and totaly set up for kids coz thats all they do, Well better be off and have a shower so we can do something with our day!
hi guys, yep this tuesday is fine with me.i will be a bit late as i have a midwife appointment at 10.30.tracey are you ok if we have it at your house.i should be there at about 11.30.
i cant beleive how cold it is here at the moment.its yukky.
chantelle is getting ANOTHER tooth down the bottom.that is 4 now.she is coping very well with it.
baby boy is kicking heaps now.we hve decided that we are not goingf to call him harry now, glad about that, the boys have gotten bored with it..........
ok will wait to here if tuesday is going ahead at your house tracey.until then....cheeerio!
nikki
Well, we're not pg here. AF arrived in due fashion yesterday. Well, back to the old drawing board. Practice makes perfect, and if it doesn't make perfect we'll just have to keep on practicing then...
Just a little over a week and Benjamin will be 1!
Morning all!
Hope you had a nice weekend, we had a pretty quiet one., I went shopping without the kids on saturday, and then my dad arrived here yesterday (he lives in qld and is moving back to nsw to be closer). Will is properly crawling, but switches back to commando when he wants to go fast lol, and is trying to pull himself up on furniture Not sure if i mentioned he has 6 teeth now? and can wave bye bye (and say it too). How much is everyone else eating? Will seems to get hungry a lot, so I will run past you his menu and can you let me know if your bubs are the same?
Breakfast - bowl porridge, bottle and then usually cruskit b4 nap
Mid morning - bread roll, sometimes biscuit too
Lunch - vegiemite sandwich, yoghurt and fruit and water
Afternoon - cruskit, fruit finger, fruit, bread (not all, but probably at least two of these) and water
Dinner - huge bowl of vegies, meat etc and bottle b4 bed...
So sound pretty average?
Nikki - Hope the tooth comes thru no probs, ooo deciding on another name i always found boys names harder lol
Kristie - sorry to hear about dh's oma. how is everything else?
Tracey - Yay on the crawling forward!
Hello to everyone else!
Will's birthday on sunday, i thought i still had another week!! we are just having a bbq in the backyard with friends family etc....
Nikki - glad Chantelle is coping with the teeth well - I wish Emma was....
Melissa - sorry about the BFN - glad you are enjoying the practice though we are too...
Kell - Emma doesn't eat anywhere near that much, but she is just a very picky eater. I sounds like he is eating healthily & wants it, so go for it. I only wish I could get Emma to eat more. It is hard not to let meal times become a battle ground here. After 5 minutes she just wants out of the high chair. She just hates to be restrained. But she will then happily crawl around eating what she threw on the floor earlier....
Anyway - I was up 6 times last night. I'm a mess. Don't know if it's teeth or what, but I'm exhauted & over it....
Linda- Sounds like you had a night the same as mine, doesnt it just ruin you!
On the eating - tori doesnt eat that quantity either, she is really picky and a real pain in the but to feed, I wish she was more like all those eating bubbas out there!
On tomorrow - if its at traceys I need an address please! If you dont want o post it, my mobile numebr is 0410 495 570 , just text it to me!
sorry, will check in again later - tori just woke! Why wont she sleep!!!!!!!!!!
We have 6 teeth here too now and little Mr now can climb up onto the couch and back down again all by himself. As much as it's very clever, he's kind of progressed really quickly into the "I can climb mummy" phase, he's only just learnt to confidently walk on his own, it's all just going like a flash before my eyes
Kell - Benjamin eats heaps too: Breakfast is bf then 2 1/2 weetbix and milk, bf again before his nap which he usually gets up again right on Lunch time. Lunch is either veges or a pasta meal. A/tea is a few biscuits, then he'll have another bf then a nap if I'm home, or he'll just crash without a bf. Dinner is usually a meal of veges and meat, 2 tubs of yoghurt then again a bf before bed. He's waking still during the night for a quick bf too a least once. He's poor little tummy after that looks awfully full, but somehow I think he's cramming it down into his big toe. We've had to pull him up and say no more sometimes because otherwise he'd just keep on eating. We do offer him fruit also and he drinks loads of water.
Linda - LOL! Yes, practicing is the fun part...
Tracey - It's amazing what a little bribery will do in the encouragement department.
Hmmm I didn't get my notification!!! I've been missing out on all this chatting!!
Not actually much to report. Had lunch at Mums yesterday for her b'day which was nice. Everyone loved showering Louis with attention so it's a nice break. Today was pretty quiet. I tried to get some housework done but didn't get very far as the couch is just so alluring...Louis is good.
Sorry to hear that some of you are not getting much sleep. Louis is sleeping through still at the moment which is nice. I'd be such a wreak if he wasn't - I don't have much energy even after a good nights sleep!
Thanks for all your thoughts. Yep, we're all ok here - we have the funeral on Wednesday so Mums looking after Louis for the day. It will be the longest I've gone without my little boy so I'm not looking forward to that at all...
Tracey - So is it all going ahead?? If so can you let me know your address - you can message me 0438 539 435 if thats easiest.
Woohoo on Jordan crawling forward!
Cindy - the pool sounds great. We have a kings pool in c.p but the classes are double the cost of the local pool. Sorry to hear you had a tough night - I so couldn't handle that at the moment. Are you going to try cc? I swear it's the only way! I go up in 2min intervals. I had to do it with Louis the other week after he'd been sick and from then on he's been sleeping through again. (and it only took to 7min!)
Nikki - Ooh lots of kicks! I can't wait! Wow at Chantelle getting another tooth! Not a bad night for you too - you poor thing! Hope it's better tonight...
Louis still has NO TEETH!!! heheheh.
Melissa - Sorry to hear af arrived. Bugger - keep practising!! Wow on climbing already. Louis is trying to climb but can't yet - he can slide down off the couch though.
Kell - Glad you had a great weekend. Hmm Louis doesn't eat quite that much. He's not a big snacker between meals. We have a bit of a dilemma because today he had b/fast at around 8.30am and then goes to sleep at around 10.45 and wakes up like 3 hours later!!!!! so he has a late lunch of a s/which, has a couple of bikkies or fruit or something a bit later and then dinner at around 5.30/6pm. I think I'm going to have to get him to eat more before he goes to sleep at lunch because he's going to long between eating otherwise...
How exciting! all the b'days will start rolling out now!
Linda - Sorry to hear you had a bad night...kind of replied in the other thread about that..Good luck tonight!
Oh yeah and Louis has started singing. He crawls around and I thought he was yelling at first but it's not it's singing! hehe. so cute.
Kell YEAH on Will crawling properly now. How funny he can crawl faster commando style. What a cutie. He sounds as though he is eating well. Sometimes Jordan amazes me how much he eats but I guess now that they are more active they need all the energy.
Melissa sorry to hear about the BFN however like you said you can have heaps of fun trying for #2. I cant wait to start TTC again. GOod luck and I hope you get that BFP soon.
Linda I hope Emma is doing better with her teething, how many teeth does she have now?
Well this morning Jordan went down without a fight which was nice. I think I have been putting him down to early lately so I waited till he was really knackered. When do they go to 1 sleep a day? I dont think Jordan is anywhere near that yet but just curious.
Have a great day everyone, its nice here today so maybe if the girls want we can go for a walk and feed the ducks that live behind the house.
