Hi!
Yesterday we headed down to the beach for the day which was nice. Louis loved his blow up boat and we just paddled out in the bay with it. It was pretty hot but luckily none of us got burnt! Today we're having a quiet one. Our car is finally going in for a service so hopefully it won't cost us a fortune! We've stupidly put it in at Ford which means they'll probably charge us double for everything! It hasn't had one in over 2 years though so thought we better do it now while we've got the money there!
Melissa - Hi! Hope you're well!!
Nikki - How are you??? Hope you pop in soon and let us know how your going!!
Have a good day!
-
well i am off to the beach tomorrow morning with my sister which will be nice. we are staying at my uncles holiday house which is aparently gorgeous, its opposite the beach and is 3 stories and has a balcony with a bbq on the top level! Perhaps us girls should grab it next time it is free and has a bit ofa break bubs and all! its 3 bedrooms but has lots of pull out couches etc. i will report on it when i get back.
I am so sick of thie hot weather, my feet have been so swollen! I have an appt at the hospital today to confirm i am ok to go for the water birth!!! I so hope they dont find any reason why i cant but they do a bit of a physical before they even giveyou the paperwork for it!
nikki- i cant stop thinking how soon you are going to have a bub!! I am so excited!!!!! Once you get home you be sure to let us all chip in and help out, I am free any day but wednesdays and i am more than happy to do the drive and also even to come out without the others too if you would like us to help out in shifts or different days!
Best de off, got to have a shower while i can

Hello all! Sounds like things are going well in here... Nikki any news yet?? LOL
Kristie - hope the service wasnt too expensive, we had one done b4 xmas and had to get 4 new tyres as well! The beach sounds great, i am taking the kids to the pool tomorrow with one of Molly's preschool friends it is sooo hot here!
Tracey - Poor Jordan's fingers, ouch! I wouldnt worry too much about the talking, he obviously understands you and can identify objects etc so his hearing is fine. I would just give it time, some kids talk lots then stop for a while others talk 'late' there is no 'normal' i spose... Will is the same with the walking along furniture, he can fall onto his bum tho lol. He will stand for a bit on his own but just wont take that first step yet. He doesnt mind playing on his own, but prefers to be with me, he is a mummies boy :) Also Molly never leaves him alone anyway...
Speaking of the monster he has just realised I am busy and is heading straight for me so hi to everyone else, i will try and post more regularly as Molly starts full days of preschool soon....ahhhh the peace :D

Hi!
Had a pretty quiet day. Louis was playing up as per usual! He's such a terror. He gets frustrated and just wants to hit us or throw something. Last night I was on the phone and had some choccy and he wanted it and when I told him no (both my hands were full) he put both his hands on my chest to scratch me!!!! Little rat. My mums having a go at me that we need to stop him quickly ra ra ra but how much can you discipline them at this age?? He's hurt me a couple of times in the last week and I did smack (lightly!) his bum and put him in his room and we make him say sorry and give us a hug and a kiss before he comes back out but it doesn't really sink in I don't think. Like he knows it's wrong but does it anyway.
I'm sure it's just a stage but it's hard when I've got my mum and sister making it out like we're doing something wrong and thats why he's doing it iykwim??
He's not a little monster or anything - majority of the time he's good and loving and wants lots of cuddles and kisses so I'm not too worries....
Sorry for blabbing...
Kell - Yep - it's turning out to be a bit! About $600 because we need a new immobiliser as well (my car wasn't starting properly) and we also need 4 new tires so all up it will be around $1000!!!! Lucky we sold dh's car and have some money as there's no way we would be able to afford it normally! Best to do it all before something major goes wrong though I suppose. Have fun at the pools tomorrow! Wow at Molly having full days at preschool! That must be strange but what a nice break throughout the day! I'm definitely in that stage at the moment where I could do with a few hours break! hehehe. I suppose it gets easier to have that time away from them when they're older and more independent.
Nikki where are you???
Cindy - Have a wonderful time at the beach!! It sounds great!! I hope everything went well at the hospital for you! I know about the feet - mine haven't been swollen but really sore by the end of the day. Especially my heels. I assume it's the heat as I never had that when I was p/g with Louis.
-

Hi girls. Nikki, good news about the A/C. My sister has wii and says it's great fun. I never got to try it tho as christmas eve (when she bought it over) was a very busy day. It's 40 here today. I have the only 2 a/c's in the house going full tilt. Once the girls are asleep, I'll open their rooms up so they cools down a bit.
Kristie, Jess likes scratching me atm. She does it quite deliberately too! Little chook. It's a stage they go thru to learn cause and effect. If I do this, it hurts mummy and mummy won't be happy.... He'll grow out of it and then the tanties will start hehe. Just kidding....
Cindy, I hope you enjoyed the day at the beach. It certainly seemed the day for it!
Kell, Ah pre school. I'm trying to get my girls in for just one day so I can do the housework without them under foot and pulling all the clean washing onto the floor! Hehe. I hope you take some time out and spoil urself once it's just u and will for those days!
Well, Jess has 11 teeth, including 3 molars and one on it's way thru. Kat's been going thru another naughty phase and keeps hitting, pinching, pushing or pulling Jess. Jess is a whinger tho *L* However, I do time out with Kat when she's naughty. She gives me a "puppy dog" I'm sorry look, but she's not really, so she's sent into the back room till she appologises. Oh, Jess is swimming by herself now! I am so proud of her! (floaties and swim vest on too of course). Up until yesterday, she refused to go in the pool for long as she wasn't confident enough. She'd just play in the wading pool. Yesterday I put her on the step and she splashed and splashed and then fell in, well she floated and managed to lift her head out of the water and promptly decided she could do it and didn't want mum or dad to help. so she started floating away from us and kicking well. She'd scream at us if we tried to hold her, so we just stayed close and kept a careful eye on her. So proud of my little bub!
I've finally think I am starting to feel a bit better now. I am still moody atm, but I am enjoying laughing and playing with the kids more now. Having said that, I broke down and cried this morning for no good reason and Kat came over with a cloth nappy to dry the tears and give me hugs, to which Jess promptly decided she wanted some too! Lucky we mums have two legs/laps!
I believe DH and I are heading to Canberra Tmw as we have to get the kms up on one of the cars and there is the Egypt exibition at the National Museum so we'll take the girls there and make a day of it (a LOOOONG day of it!).
I hope you girls all have a good weekend and you don't get toooo hot. I think we've ended up with a late summer!
Love and hugs to all!

Hi!
Still waiting for our car to be fixed so dh can pick it up. They always take soooo long! Nothing much happening here. Louis slept in until 9am this morning and has now been asleep for a couple of hours. I hope he goes to sleep tonight though.
Last night I was in a foul mood for no known reason. I've been feeling a bit that way lately. I think it's just a lack of energy and I want to be able to do all these things and I do most of them but then end up really cranky. Dh was sooo good and gave me a cuddle and told me to just cry and get it out - which of course I did and he let me blubber on for a while and just talked really nicely and said all the right things (very strange for dh! hehe) and I felt so much better afterwards. I'm just so much more emotional this p/g!!! I hope I'm going to cope ok when Dylan arrives!!! Although dh is such a good support most of the time that I'm sure we'll all be fine. Anyway....
Nikki - Yeah - glad your around - the air cons sound like a fantastic idea!! You must be excited that it's coming to the business end of your p/g!! Sorry to hear you got so burnt! Ouch! Be careful with the Wii - it would definitely put you into labour I reckon! Ooh I can't wait to hear the good news next week!! I'll jump on straight away and let everyone know and post a birth announcement for you!!!
Kerrie - Thanks for that - I can tell it's either when he's frustrated that he lashes out or when he wants our attention so we'll just have to ride it out I suppose....That's what worries me - I thought we wouldn't have these dramas until the terrible twos but obviously it will just be different ones then! hehehe.
Wow at Jess swimming on her own - how clever!!! Glad your starting to feel better!! How gorgeous the girls sound helping with your tears!
Have fun on your drive tomorrow!
Enjoy your weekends. We don't have a whole lot planned which I'm happy about! It's been nice just kicking back a bit lately!
-
Kristie I hope you get the car back without too much damage to the bank account :) they can be so expensive sometimes. Hope you have a nice relaxing weekend and get the chance to rest a little
Nikki wow its not long now till Harry is due to arrive. Take care this week and let me know if you need anything. Oops about getting burnt.
Kerrie what a clever little girl Jess is with her swimming. WOW on all the teeth. Hope that Kat grows out of her nuaghty phase for you soon enough.
Kell thanks for the reasurring words on the talking. Will and Jordan seem to progress pretty much at the same time, mostly Will slightly ahead. I cant wait for the walking to start though.
Cindy hope you are feeling well and you enjoyed the beach. I hope you do get to have a water birth. I think that would be nice.
Melissa how are things with you. Hope Benjamin is keeping out of mischief.
Linda How are you? hope Emma is well. Its been a while since you popped in.
Well today DH and Jordan are in Sydney and mummy had the day to herself. I had to work in the morning and then I spent 2 hrs cleaning the house. I made it to target though and bought another bra :) and 2 new tops for myself.
I am really missing the boys today though. Although its nice to have ME time all day is really long. they get back at 6pm tongiht so not too long now.
Oh Jordan got bitten by ants the other day so he has a swollen eye and a bite on his arm. he is on antihistameans (cant spell it sorry) so hopefully it should all go down soon.
Last night I went to see "in pursuit of happiness" at the movies with my SIL's it was great. I cried at the end and they both laughed at me. OH Well
Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend.
-
Nikki - Ouch! I hate sunburn too...
Kristie - I've had a case of the temper bug lately too. Don't you just love hormones... At least yours is pg related.
Tracey - Benjamin is a nightmare sometimes. He's getting into everything, won't listen to the word NO! He generally thinks he can do whatever he pleases. This includes riffling through dirty clothes and clean ones just to play in the basket or to dress up in them. Taking eveything off the book shelf and tearing pages out of Dh's books. Opening every drawer possible and removing the contents. Trying on all his clothes or taking off his clothes. The naughty list is endless. I have however got him to sit back in his highchair no problems to have his meals. One good thing out of many bad ones is at least something. I have to work on the rest. That may include locked cabinets for the things that are not to be touched. lol
I'm suffering from a bad tooth ache, of which I can't do nothing about until Monday. Didn't get much sleep last night because of it. It doesn't help that Benjamin is requiring more bf becasue it's hot either.

Hi!
Finally got the car back on Fri at 5pm!! Grr. Cost a fortune and they barely did anything but change the oil so won't be going back in a hurrry. Oh well....
We had a huge day yesterday - Louis and I went shopping (Dh was sleeping as he didn't get home until after 5am from playing computer games!! GRRR!) I bought him new clothes for winter! I couldn't help it as the new bonds stuff has come in stock and it sells so quickly that I had to buy it while it was there! hehe. Other than that I bought socks and underwear as it was 20% off.
Then it was home and straight up to my sisters as well all needed our haircut desperately! We also picked up a single bed for Louis! We need to buy a mattress and manchester for it and then we'll set it up in his room in a few months. I want it set up before Dylan arrives so he doesn't link it but we probably won't need him to sleep in until he's about 20-21months depending on how the bassinet goes with Dylan. They have a huge trampoline at my sisters and Louis had a turn on it and absolutely loved it. The rougher the better for him!! I don't know where he found his energy but he just ran around and bounced for ages.
Then straight to friends who have just bought their first house! Poor Louis did so well with only 30min sleep all day and we didn't get home until after 9pm!!!! He went to bed at around 9.40pm and luckily slept in until 9.30am this morning poor little munchkin. Needless to say he's back in bed now and has been for about an 1 1/2 so far. He was sooo hyper last night though running around in circles an dancing and showing off. It was quite funny but I felt soo bad for him being up so late.
Today is a quiet one. We're off to do the food shopping when Louis wakes up and thats about it although I probably should do some housework but it can wait until tomorrow....
Oh yeah, dh let me have a lie in this morning and got up with Louis so I could have a quiet read and he brought me brekkie in bed - scrambled eggs and mushrooms! Yum!! I've been so spoilt. It is nice though!!
Trace - Wow what a nice cruisy day to yourself. I'd me missing my boys like crazy too though after a whole day! hehe. Hope you had a nice time when they got home!! Good on you for buying some new clothes! I'm waiting until after I've had Dylan now and I told dh I'm going to go shopping for some new gym clothes to get me motivated! hehe.
Oh poor Jordan getting bitten by the ants! Thats no good at all. I hope he's all better now.
Ooh Yeah on having a night out at the movies. I just redeemed some credit card points so we're getting 6 movie tickets sent out soon! I'm very excited! We'll have to use them up before Dylan arrives I'm saying as there's no way I'll get out of the house on my own for a few months after he arrives. For no other reason that my boobs will explode without feeding! hehehe.
Melissa - It is certainly getting to a stage where these kids just want to push us. Louis is doing a great job of it at the moment with hitting or throwing things. He definitely won't listen to "no" and it drives me crazy. I don't want to have a naughty kid and I keep thinking I'm doing something wrong for him to be so cheeky.....Hopefully they're all just going through a stage though. I wonder if it's a boy thing??
Ooh sorry to hear about your toothache! Hope it's feeling better for you today!
K - better hang out some washing....
-
Krisite bummer about the car costing heaps. What a jam packed day you had and what a good boy Louis is to go without much sleep. Hope you had a nice cruisy day today. Yeah on the breaky in bed.
Melissa sounds as though Benjamin does get up to some mischeif. I think its the age as they all seem to be oding it at the moment.
Well today was nice Jordan slept in till 7.45 i was rapted. He had a ig sleep at his nannas this afternoon, we woke him up at 5pm and I have just put him back to sleep now.
I had big fight with DH tonight. I feel like I do everything around this house and he just sits back, this includes looking after Jordan. I am the one who feeds and baths him everynight and if I ask DH to feed him he normally has an excuse why he cant. It is really getting to me at the moment, maybe cause I am pre menstrual but we had a blue over it.
Does anyone else have this problem? or are your DHs more helpful. I dont want to be a whinging wife but a little help now and then wouldnt hurt.
Oh well enough whinging from me. take care hope you all have a nice night.
-
Hi!
Trace - I have this argument with dh. I think it's pretty normal too! He's been a bit more understanding lately which has been helpful and is now helping with the housework and shopping....There are still times though when I've gone nuts at him because he just wants to do his thing while I'm running around trying to get everything done. I guess they just don't understand how exhausting it can be and that we just don't get that break. Like if dh has a headache he'll go and have a sleep and do whatever he needs to do - if "mum" has a headache we still have to do everything we do in a normal day plus put up with a headache!!!
I know with my dh I just had to be really persistant and keep pushing at him to help...Now he baths Louis every night and gets him ready for bed. If I've finished tidying up the house then I'll put Louis down but otherwise he has cuddles and a cup of milk with dh and he puts him to bed. Another helpful thing is that dh looks after Louis while I cook dinner and then we all eat together at around 5.30-6pm so it works out that I clean while he baths and then we pretty much finish everything all together and both get to sit down and do what we want to do....
I think men are thick though and definitely most of them won't just get up and help without some prodding iykwim? My mum used to get annoyed at dad for not helping but she never asked either...imo if you don't ask you don't get! Just demand it! hehehe.
Everyone needs help - especially as you're working as well!
I'm sure you'll sort it all out and everything will look brighter tomorrow!
-
Hello, sorry just butting in here. It's exciting to see a thread just for people with Oct 2005 babies! I have a son who was born 15th of October 2005.
-
Hi Monabap!
Congrats! What is your son's name? What is he up to at the moment? Feel free to join in with out chatter! (Actually I mostly ramble on...hehe)
My little boy is a terror at the moment other than he's still asleep right now after going to bed at 7.30pm last night!! He's been sleeping in until around 9-9.30am everyday at the moment! Woohoo. He's just having one day sleep though so I wonder if he's just wearing out a bit with all his running around.
Dh is off today for a couple of days with the PIL. It may sound horrible but after nearly 4 weeks off work I think I'm going to enjoy a couple of days just Louis and I! I'll be dying for him to get home in a couple of days though...
Big hi to everyone!! OMG Nikki - only 3 more sleeps to go!!
-
OMG is Nikki having her bub in 3 days? Or something else?? OMG wow!!!
Welcome Mon!
Anyway, we are off on holidays tomorrow! Yay!! For 10 days. So you probably won't hear from me, I'll be busy relaxing ;)
-
Welcome to the group Monabap :D
NIkki - Best wishes hun for the coming few days! I'm so excited that your day is almost here! Remember to get lots of piccy's please.
Linda - Anymore on your bub to be? Have you had your u/s yet to know dates?
Kristie - Boys will be boys as I'm constantly told. I've just done a big clean up in the house, and he's somewhere quietly planning another riot I think  Oh well, a mum's work is never done!
Melissa
-
LOL Melissa at planning another riot!!
Yep, had my U/S. I'm officially 9w1d pg. Feeling a lot less sick now which is a relief!
Kristie - I have to tell you - I hardly get time to reply, but I always love reading your long posts about what is going on with Louis! So sorry I don't respond much, but know that I enjoy reading your novels LOL. Sounds like you guys are going really well. :)
-
Hi!
Linda - Wow have fun on holidays!!! Where are you off too? Yeah on having your u/s!! Thats so exciting! Sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well. Thanks! BB is definitely my outlet if you haven't already guessed! hehehe. It certainly helps to rubbish on here when you don't have friends etc with bubbas to share everything with!
Melissa - Agreed! I suppose I'm just not used to all that boy energy around! hehe. Soon I'll be well and truly outnumbered 3-1!!! I shouldn't complain as Louis didn't wake up until 11am this morning!! WTF?? I'm assuming there'll be no day sleep for him today and he'll be completely over everything by bedtime tonight!! Funny little boy!
-

wow Nikki!! Time has gone so fast!! Well all the very best! I can't wait to hear all about it! I hope your recovery goes really well & that you get well looked after. I will be thinking of you.
-
Hi!
Poor Chantelle!! I hope she gets better soon. Poor little vegemite! Wow your doing so well doing all these things!! Hope you have fun at the tennis! I hope your finding some time to rest as well in all of this!!! Sounds like you had a great night away as well!
-
Wow Nikki. You're amazing to be fitting so much in before Thursday! Tis clever making the most of things while you have a chance before no.4 arrives. Can't imagine how exciting it must be knowing you're about to meet Harry! Hope you're op goes really well and that you're recovery is very speedy. Seems to me like it was only yesterday that you were finding out you were preggers with him. Hope Chantelle recovers quickly from her bug. Tis unfortunate timing for her to be unwell this week, of all weeks. xx
Kristie, I also LOVE LOVE LOVE your posts. Was just thinking the other day that you could have a new career in the making, as a freelance writer. he ha! You really are very entertaining. Please don't stop posting!!!
Linda, Wow 9 wks preggers. How exciting. Will you find out whether this bubba is a boy or girl or are you planning a surprise??? Hope your energy levels return to normal and that there's no more morning sickness.
Tracey, I totally share your feelings that a mumma's work is never done!!! I have a helpful DH but it really only feels like he's a part time daddy. DH is at work each week day for 12 plus hours and occasionally needs to work weekends so ALL of Gus's weekday care falls on me. Not to mention accompanying Gus to all the specialists and allied health early intervention people every day and then rooming in with Gus in hospital plus all the usual cleaning/shopping/washing/ironing etc that needs to be done. Aghhhh it's so tedious and feels like groundhog day at times! I'd always imagined I'd be a working mumma, however I can't see myself being back to work anytime soon. I agree with Kristie's comment that asking for help is a definite must. I sometimes expect DH to be a mind reader and then get (unfairly) disappointed when he doesn't manage to read my mind properly. LOL!
Melissa, Sorry to hear you're suffering with sore teeth. I hope your toothypeg is feeling a LOT better and that you've managed to see a dentist today.
Hi Monabap. My little boy Fergus was due to be born in October however due to ruptured membranes at 23wks and then 6wks later spontaneous labour ending in emergency c-section he ended up being a July bubba. However we still measure milestones/growth etc as though he was born in mid October as it will take a while (3 years +)to catch up to his "actual age". I have kept posting with the October bubbas as this feels like where he/we "belong" and also cause all the October mummas are the best!!!
As for me, we've just had Gus in hospital for another week with para-influenza 3/croup. Home now with daily visits. aagghhh
-
It's so good to hear from you Kirsty! Life sounds very hectic for you still. Is Gus on the improve? What is new for him these days?
I don't think we will be finding out the sex. Part of me would love to, but I like the idea of waiting too, & DH wants it to be a surprise. So a surprise it will be!
-
Linda, it's lovely to keep it a surprise. I wasn't able to with Gus (for quite different reasons), but would love to think I'd be strong enough to resist the temptation with a regular pregnancy. xx Looking forward to hearing all about this pregnancy of yours over the coming months. Kind of wish we could all be preggers at the same time again!
We're still doing things tough. Gus is still completely refusing to eat or drink milk. His last voluntary food was in late October/early Nov!! We're tube feeding him three meals a day and then feeding him continually overnight for 10 hours via a kangaroo pump. It's working as he's gone from 6.5kg to 7.2kg since we began in late November. He's been really sick lately with a nasty virus we caught from some friends and this was on the back of the rota virus he picked up while in hospital before Christmas. Due to his lung damage from 6wk period inutero without amnio fluid Gus seems to suffer quite a bit more than the regular bunny with lung troubles associated with the flu virus and with gastro intestinal difficulties. At least we're home overnight now and just visiting or being visited daily. I'm sooooooo sick of hospital. Otherwise he's coming along quite well. Still at the slower end of the developmental spectrum from all the medical issues that seem to hold him up. Spending so much time in hospital confined to a cot/small hospital room 24/7 for a few weeks didn't help developmentally either. :( He's got about 10-12 words and is currently spending soooo much time comfort sucking his dummy that I can't see this changing in a hurry. He is just learning to walk. Can manage about 10-12 steps before he tumbles cause he's built up to much speed. It is absolutely gorgeous to watch how proud he is of his efforts! Unfortunately our camera seems to have broken. The lens won't open more than about 1mm so we haven't managed to capture his joyful expression on film so far. Speaking of pics, I love your pics of Emma. I was just thinking the other day that we're going to have to make a big effort with younger siblings to make sure we take lots of pics of them to so they don't feel like the first born got all the attention!
-
Poor gussy boy....hive him lots of hugs from us all!
Wow nikki, not long to go now! Poor Chantelle, hope she gets better quickly!
Linda, I hope the morning sickness hasn't been too bad this time round...
-
Hi!
Hehe Kirsty - You couldn't all get rid of me if you tried! hehehe. You're certainly a supermum! It must be so hard having to do all those extras on your own, especially with dh working all those hours! Sorry to hear that Gus has been so unwell. You must be glad he's home again with you though!
Linda - You're so good not finding out the sex!! I'm such a spoil sport! hehe.
-
Oh Kirsty - sounds like it is still really hard for Gus. You are doing such an amazing job as his Mum, you should be proud - but I guess you don't get much time to step back from it all & feel proud do you? He sounds like he is doing really well though, taking steps!! And his words - that's probably more than Em. She isn't a big talker either, often playing without any noise most of the time. It sounds like the pump is doing a great job. Is is just because he doesn't like the sensation of food in his tummy that he won't eat himself? Poor little fella. I bet he hates the hospitals too. :( You are amazing!! Oh - I'd love to be belly buddies too ;) But it sounds like you have your hands full enough right now..
Kristie - yeah, but if DH was keen, I'd find out for sure! It is tempting...
-
Thanks guys. Linda we don't really know why he doesn't like to eat or drink his milk. The specialists think he is still intolerant to a whole range of foods and that he associates the pain from food intolerances and also gastric reflux with all forms of eating/drinking so that he can't get any pleasure from food. Tis very very frustrating. Looks like we'll be feeding via the NGT for at least the next 6 months. While it's absolutely necessary at the moment, it also means that his eating skills are falling further and further behind. By feeding him so much liquid food his poor little body doesn't really get a chance to feel hunger so in turn he rejects each oral feed we offer him. Tis a vicious cycle. Not to mention terribly hard work. I have had to get used to extremely broken sleep once more. I have to get up to Gus every couple of hours and sometimes every half hour or so. The feeding pump Gus is connected to overnight alarms lots through the night each time he gets a "kink" in the tube or a blockage. This requires my attention to fix, in addition to this, his tube needs flushing regularly, the formula needs refreshing every couple of hours to stop it spoiling in the heat, Gus regularly gets tangled in his feeding tube as he rolls about the cot etc. Aaaghhhhh so that's why i'm turning into a crazy sleep deprived woman. heha! :)
-
well i got overmy issues with Dh and we had a great night tonight. DH had all our dinner cooked when I got home and he had a massive play with Jordan before he went to bed so I am a happy camper. It makes such a difference. Both DH and I have gone on health kicks now we both want to loose some weight so I hope we can stick to it. DH had salad and chicken satay skewers for tea and I had chicken cachiatore. I also made my lunch for work, ham and salad roll, no more KFC. A new year means a new way of eating. I want to be able to provide Jordan with a good start to life so guess we need to quit the junk so he doesnt pick up our bad habits.
Kirstie you are such a trooper, you are coping with everything so well and I am glad to see that the tube is working for Gus. Our friends little girl has a feeding tube at the moment, she is only 5 months. She has some issues with formula and is on some special percription stuff. I am sure you will able to say goodbye to the hospital visits soon enough. Take care.
Nikki WOW superwomen, you are certainly keeping busy before Friday. Are you going to bacchus marsh hospital? I would love to come visit you in hospital if you are up for visitors and dont have too many people coming in. Let me know.
Kristie YEAH i agree with your posts, you keep me entertained. WOW on Louis's sleep that was awesome. I wish he would send some sleeping vibes to Jordan. I think an 8 oclock sleep in is marvellous.
Linda Gee those 9 weeks have gone fast. Hope the MS goes away soon
Katkins nice to hear from you hope the girls are well.
Melissa I hope that Benjamin didnt mess up the house too much :) I find nothing looks tidy anymore as we have toys everywhere.

Hi!
Kirsty - Are you getting help from anyone other than dh? You poor thing with getting such broken sleep! I wish you were nearby so I could help you out!
Tracey - So glad you had a good night tonight! Every now and then it all just gets too much!! Good for you for going on a health kick - I think I'll have to do that when Dylan arrives! I'm stacking on the weight this time around - I think I've put on around 7kg already!!!!! (I swear it's mostly lard!)
I was wrecked this afternoon after doing some housework and cooking Louis and I roast for dinner (well a veggie version - roast potato, pumpkin and onion with honey carrots, beans, peas and cauliflower with cheese sauce!) Needless to say we both pigged out though! Louis ate a whole plate full of food! Ooh and I also made a date loaf this arvo - Hmmm - I wonder why I've put on 7kg already?? hehehe. Louis did some fabulous finger painting artwork while I was getting dinner ready which is now up on our fridge! hehe. He also had a scribble with his crayons and textas and managed to actually draw a line and some dots! I haven't spent much time with him with art - I don't think he's hugely interested yet but a dabble here and there won't hurt! (except when he puts his fingers in his mouth when finger painting! hehe)
Anyway - going to chill out.

Thank you for the welcomes.. it is interesting reading about everyone's toddlers. Kirsty - you sure do sound sleep deprived!!
My son is Patrick, he was actually due mid November but came a month early when my waters broke.
These days he's toddling around everywhere, (falls down a lot too), tries to climb everything, gets into everything, eats everything, etc. He is growing like a weed. Every now and then he will talk and say something totally understandable which is pretty funny.
Here he is in December.
