Hi All,
we have had bush fires around here too. I live in Lara which is on the Melb side of Geelong. There is a huge fire in Anakie which is about 30 mins from here. We have been told to get some things pasked just in case so I have the wagon piled up with kids stuff, photos, etc - and some clothes for DH and I. We are waiting at home at the moment just to see what is going to happen..Hopefully the fire won't reach down here. The kids are in bed at the minute. Eden has been a bit strange all day - only sleeping an hour at a time. Last night she went to bed at 7pm and was awake 'til 10 pm - just chatting to herself. She slept thru though - hopefully she will stay asleep now for a decent time. that is if we don't have to evacuate. (fingers crossed) DH has gone for a drive to see how the fire is looking and see if we are going to stay. The cool change has just reached us, so I hope that helps the firies. Scary stuff.
