Kirsty I havent tried any tablets but was thinking of buying some fenugrek. I will let you know how that goes.
You are doing such a terrific job with Gus. You are such a great mum to be sticking to a strict diet so that you dont upset bubs. I had a spicy pizza the other day knowing it may upset him.......I have no self control.
I hope that your hydrotherapy assists with Gus's muscle strengthening. I am sure he will thrive, he has been so far.
I cant wait to see some photos of him.
Cindy and Nicole - Hope that your photo shoots go well tomorrow. I am sure the kids will do a great job. Cant wait to see them in ads and catalogues.
Linda - I had a look at your updated photos. Emma is such a darling. You are really a talented photographer. How long have you been doing it for?
Well today i have cleaned the house in prep for playgroup although looks asthough its only Nicole and myself as everyone else is sick or bubs is. Will be nice and cosy. No flooding of the house this week though.......
I have made the final changes to my 1st plate and will now bake it and send it to my 1st client. HOW EXCITING. I have already had expressions of interest from other people of "wedding central" ( i am a member there aswell ) I hope that this little business venture takes off.
Puppy is well. she went back to vet today $60 later and they want her back again on the weekend????? not sure if i will take her. Will see what DH says. I might only go back if she is down in the dumps, she seems back to her normal self.
Have a great day everyone

Happy Belated Birthday Kristie!
Cindy - Congrats on getting a call back for Tori already. Tori must be a stunner...
We had our first colds of the season a few weeks ago. Benjamin had to go onto antibiotics. It's all good here now. The only thing is the cold weather that's sneaking on in all of a sudden. It was 4 degrees at 6:30am this morning here.
Benjamin has cut his second tooth. He now has the 2 middle bottom ones. I feel every bit of it when I bf him, which hurts. He crawls around happily now chasing his mummy, and if he finds something he wants he sits himself up and plays with it. He pulls himself up onto things too.
I hope everyone is feeling as good as can be expected and that those of us with a cold I hope get better soon.

what are the fees for Bettina modelling agency? I am thinking of getting both Kat and Jess into it if they will accept them (have been thinking it since Kat was born but have decided there is nothing stopping us now...) I know I should post pics of my girls, but DH has scanned the pics and they are toooo big and I have NFI how to scale them down a bit so they are a good size to view easily...
-
hey - lots happening here, will post more tomorrow. been to westmead today to get Molly's brace OFF!!!! YAY
-
Yay Kell! That's great!! It seems like it's been on so long! How is she going now without it?
-
Hey Linda - She has had cast/brace for 6 months and sh now still has to wear the cast overnight but can have it off all day, and go to preschool with it off for the first time!! She can walk and do most things without it, she was already having it off a few hours a day so had been walking etc and now that will just keep getting better. She does get a bit tired and sore if she does a lot of walking etc, but that will get better too :)
HAPPY BDAY KRISTIE! Hope you had a nice day, and hope Louis is feeling better for you.
Kirstie - Fingers crossed that Gussy takes the formula and starts packing on that weight :)
Hope all the sick bubs are feeling better, its that time of year isnt it? Molly has a touch of something and the trick is keeping her away from Will so he doesnt get it, she just loves to kiss and play with him all day :)
-
wow Kell! Congratulations, that is fabulous news. It must be so exciting for Molly and you all. I hope it's not to long before Molly doesn't need to wear it overnight!
-
Kirsty - Thanks :D She has to for at least 6 months, then another xray and visit to the specialist (I spose you're an expert in specialist already ;)). the poor thing hates sleeping on her back all the time and gets uncomfy, but it could be so much worse...
-
the boys had there photo shoot today and did really well, the photographer was a grumpy barstard and spent the morning growling at all the kids,he definantly did not belong in an industry with children,he did a great job with the photos though,we got to see them straight away on the computer and i was very impressed,we have done our part now and i guess the rest is up to the agency,i hope they get work even if it is just enough to cover the $790 outlay and they get to have this new and exciting experience.
chantelle has been a little ****.i am not enjoyying her at all at the moment, she really is playing up,i can tell by the way she fake cries, she wants me to carry her all the time and has just learnt to protest about going to bed.she was always so good at going down to sleep,we never had an issue with that.tonight she screamed and fought for 1.5 hours until she was exhausted.i spent all that time sitting on the floor next to her cot patting her.not happy jan.think i might stay up again tonight, last night was hell.
sorry to sound so depressing, just a bad week,i do hope it does sought itself out soon

Hi!
Well what a week! Thank you for all your b'day wishes! Louis slept well before my b'day but hasn't since. Last night I even had to bring him into the bed with me and of course he fell asleep straight away for 3 hours! I fed him at 5am and put him back in his cot and he slept for another 3 1/2 hours! My birthday was pretty good - nothing very exciting. I'm a bit down in the dumps this week. Not for any good reason and I'm sure I will snap out of it. I think sometimes around b'day time you just assess life a bit and everything with mine is great except the finances....which of course impacts on every other aspect. We'll be fine though - I should buy a tatts ticket on the weekend though I think! hehe.
Cindy - Glad your mums op went well. Yeah on Tori's teeth. So far I've just bought a little pair of shoes from target for Louis and their just velcro...
Tracey - Ooh I hope you sell lots and lots of plates!
Thanks Linda - How's Emma going?
Melissa - Wow on Benjamin following you around everywhere. I can't imagine that. Louis is getting closer to crawling each day. He now can get himself into crawling position and can walk forward on his hands a little bit, but he either collapses back onto the floor or tries to walk on his feet! I'm sure he'll get there eventually. (I don't know why I'm so eager - I'm sure as soon as starts moving around I'll wish he wasn't - hehe)
Kell - Yeah on getting Mollys braces off! Thats great news!
Nikki - Sorry to hear Chantelle is so sick. I hope she's feeling better.
Wow on the cost of the photos! Maybe I won't try Louis out - I definitely couldn't afford that at the moment! I'm so sorry to hear your having so much trouble with Chantelle. I know how frustrating it can be ( I was like that last night at 2am when Louis wouldn't settle - thats why I just brought him into bed with me...) It's especially hard when you haven't had a good night for so long and then it just keeps getting worse and worse. I hope for all our sakes that our bubs start sleeping better soon. It's so draining. I wish I could afford a night time nanny - hehehe. I so would if I was rich! hehe. I can't even imagine how you do it with your boys to look after as well!!
Kirsty - Good to hear from you. Wow, you are doing so well following such a strict diet. I'm hopeless with the foods I eat. I'm vegetarian so I would struggle cutting all those things out of my diet. You are such an amazing Mum! I hope Gussy takes to his formula and food and keeps growing nice and big for you!
Chat soon!
-
Hey there,
Nikki - Wow so sorry to hear the sleep is bad atm, maybe on the weekend DH could look after Chantelle and you could have a full nights sleep? Do you still wrap her to sleep, you could maybe start (if not already) or stop or change the wrap style if you are? Do you have a spare bed so you could sleep in her room (does she have her own room?) so that you dont have to go far if she wakes, and she may like to have you close. It sounds like thru the day she wants to be close to you all the time, it could be seperation anxiety. Will went thru that a little while ago, he would not settle on his own, but he got over it. Thats about all i can suggest, hope it gets better soon
Kristie - I know what you mean about bday, I am 27 this year and i wonder where the time has gone! June 6th Lotto is 21 million i think, but i am going to win that so dont bother LOL.
Melissa - like Kristie I cant imagine being followed by a littlie, Will is a great big lump that wont move LOL. Hes very determined to not move, same as Molly and my nephew Jordan, must be in the genes :)
Hope everyone has a nice Friday, weekend tomorrow yay! We are looking at another house (renting) it has an extra bedroom which will be nice, except when the IL want to visit  It is a fair bit more money, but we might be able to talk them down if they have no one else interested. Other than that pretty quiet weekend planned...
-
Good luck with house Kell!
Nikki - the wrap advice is good! Emma had been sleeping unwrapped, but when we moved she would only sleep with us. So when it came time to get her back in her cot was to wrap her really tight & it works.
Mind you, she's waking 1-3 times a night ATM & I have no idea why?? I'm hoping it will just pass. I just feed her & go back to bed, thats the easiest.
-
Kristie - It's difficult when he's got such a foot and shoe fetish at the moment too. You really have to be careful where you put your feet. He's pulling himself up on us and standing up very well. It won't be long and I think he'll be walking. Benjamin did the up on the toes things too before he got the knack of the crawling thing.
Kell - I never realised how much work it is to look after a crawling child. When I move house next weekend, I really think I need to rearrange the furniture a little better.
Nikki - Benjamin does the whole "crocodile tears" thing too. He screams and screams until he gets mummy. Daddy tried to handle him yesterday, but instead Benjamin just kept screaming with the arms outstretched for me. It all stopped when he got his mummy though. Talk about have mummy wrapped around his little finger.
I hope you all have a great weekend
Melissa
-
thanks girls,i will try wrapping her tonight,so far today she has gone down twice for huge sleeps with no problems, last night was another crappy night but i did see an improvment,i realise she isnt well so heres hoping she will get over this when she is feeling better.
kristie and cindy,me and tracey caught up the other day and agreed that we are happy to make the trip to your side of town just to make things easier, that way the chances are higher that we will actually catch up.shall we come to one of your houses or have you got other suggestions, for us a wednesday would be better, how would you guys feel about wednesday the 7th of june???? kell i have an 8 seater 4wd,if you want to drive to my place i can take us all, what do you think......?
melissa LOL at the crocodile tears,it actually makes me laugh, chantelle will be crying but with a smile on her face,it is more of a noise rather than an actual cry, little bugger,i cant beleive at this age they are already learning to manipulate us.heheheh!!!!linda we can fully appreciate how difficult it is when bubs wakes so often at night, what a shame, she was such a terrific sleeper for you for soooo long, must have been the move that undid all of that, for me it was when chantelle got her first cold at 4 months old,she was such a perfect sleeper before that.and now it seems like an eternety ago,i just try to remind myself that it DOES eventually stop.kell i hope you get the house.melissa,i didnt realise you were moving, gosh this group has been very busy house hunting and moving,i think kristie is the only one out of all of us that hasnt.as for our house we had a couple come through on tuesday and they LOVED our home, they went straight to the bank to organise finance and said they would be back at the end of the week with an offer,i expect that it will be early next week though.we have an open house tomorrow at 1pm and the agent said that since the board went up they have been flooded with calls so hopefully a big turnout,i am sick to death of cleaning though.oh kell congratulations on getting mollys brace off,i am sooo happy for that little girl.i had a blue with dh last night and thismorning,i just feel everything is getting on top of me and feel he is not giving me the help i need, poor thing doesnt get home till 7-8 oclock so i realise the last thing he wants to do is domestic duties but i just told him i feel a bit like a single mum and need somthing else.going back to work is starting to sound better everyday.i have to admit the thought of another baby at the moment has definantly gone on to the bottom of my list .cindy how did tori go yesterday at the photo shoot?
must be off got to go to the supermarket and post office
love nikki(p.s thanks for being there girls, just having you to talk to when things get rough sure helps me alot)

Hi!
Louis slept straight from 8.45pm - 4.15am! Thats the longest in ages. Also, today he's taken a few walks forward crawling! I don't think it will be long now at all! One thing that I've given a try (although I don't think you're supposed to) is a pillow. I put it in for Louis last night and he looks so cosy! I don't worry about it because Louis isn't a wriggler - where I put him down to sleep he is there when he wakes in the same position. I think it's helped too because of his snotty nose as well. Who knows what tonight will bring though....hehe
Kell - LOL on the tatts...I'll have to get a ticket for that one...Good luck on the house!
Linda - Won't emma settle without a feed? That would be hard. Louis walking up a few times is good for us but it's usually just a quick pop the dummy in so thats easy. I would be frustrated if I had to do something to settle him - hehe.
Melissa - Louis is the same - will cry for me when other people are holding him or he starts getting tired...It's kind of nice that he wants his mum though....
Nikki - Sounds great!! I'm free that day. I'm happy if you want to come to my house - at least we can relax that way rather than being out somewhere but it's up to you guys. I've only got a little house but I'm sure there will be enough room for us all!
I think you're right it would be worse if you had good sleepers that turned bad. Louis has been bad the whole time so it's not so bad - hehe. Louis has slept through once only!
Yep, we haven't moved and nor will we be for probably another 2 years, which means we'll be having bubba 2 here! It will be hard but we'll manage.
Good luck with the house!! I hope it sells for you!
I dont' blame you for feeling a bit overwhelmed at the moment. Sometimes dh just don't understand that it can feel draining... and yep they feel tired to, but they get to come home and switch off and we don't really ever get a chance to do that.
I agree - it's so great to have a place to chat like this!
-
Kristie - yep, she has to be fed! Wow on the crawling!!
Nikki - we all help each other out, its great hey! I hope the wrapping works for you!
I'm so lucky we have an internal garage here. So if Emma falls asleep in the car I just leave her in there with the doors open & I can hear her as soon as she wakes up. She sleeps heaps longer too - normally I'm lucky to get 20 minutes & shes been in there for 25 so far...
-
Nikki - I'm free any day to catch up other than Thursdays. I would say to come to my place but my mum is house bound for a few months after the surgery and I couldnt do it to her! The 7th sounds good to me though and truly I dont mind travelling, Tori just sleeps in the car anyway.
The photos went really well the other day, she sowed off like I have never seeen her do before and the pics looked great on the computer. Who was the photographer you had? Our one was a little skinny blond haired asian guy probably in his 50's and he was great, we had my niece with us too and he chatted to her as well. Sorry to hear he was crabby with your boys. Like you I am hoping that we cancover the money paid out with some work. Time will tell I suppose!
Kristie- wow on louis's sleep!I wish tori would do one of those for me! I feel like a zombie today. she has been crabby for a few days now, perhaps we have a second tooth coming through?? Are you feeling more chirpy today? Birthdays are meant to be happy times. Did you get spoilt by your hubby? I get down around my birthday unfortunately and even 20 years after my brother dying (he died 2 days after my 10th birthday) it still gets me down every year and I never celebrate it. Pretty pathetic really but I just cant break the cycle. Maybe one day I will do something for it.
Well I am off to watch the nanny.
Sorry no personals to everyone, I missed a day and there is way to mych to catch up on now!
Sleep well................
-
Hi!
Linda - thats great with the garage! I would love that. I've had so many times where you get home and just have to try and transfer and 9 times out of 10 it doesn't work!
Have a good weekend eveyrone! I'm having people around for a few drinks tomorrow for b'day celebrations and Sunday brekky at a cafe with the family so it should be nice!
-
Cindy - we posted at the same time!
Thats cool everyone can come to my house! What a good girl being a show off in front of the camera. That's one thing I don't think it takes kids long to work out! hehe
Sorry that you're so tired - its so hard isn't it.
Well, I should feel chirpy but I didn't go to bed until midnight (reading marie claire...) I enjoyed the time to myself though as dh was out as well...
I'm so sorry to hear about your brother... I can imagine it would feel weird to celebrate at that time. I hope that you can sometime though because you're special and you deserve to be spoilt and feel good on your b'day! Was he older than you? (you don't have to write about him if you don't want to...)
I wish everyone a beautiful nights sleep - god knows we all need it!
-
okay girls, that is settled then, put that date, the 7th june on your calenders and we will come at 11.30 am.kristie i will just need your address love.i will bring some soft drink and maybe some dip and buiscuts.
cindy my brother died last year ,march.he was only 23 and had a son who was 3 at the time, very sad time and i cannot ever imagine getting over that even in 20 years time.love to you.
nikki
-
ooooooo what do you think of chantelles ticker, she was playing with my new scarf, she was wrapping it around her head and face.funny little thing.needless to say it was saturated with slobber by the time she had finished with it.
nikki
-
Nikki - That is so gorgeous, dont you just love the baby slobber on absolutely everything! LOL. Our camera needs a new battery atm so i dont have any new photos of Will, must get to that hmmm.. Hope Chantelle slept better for you last night. Cleaning for open houses would be draining, hopefully that buyer comes along :) My Dh works long hours too, 7.30 to 6ish, but i must say he is very helpful around the house. Maybe your dh could take the kids for a few hours on the weekend to the shops, out for a milkshake etc, just to give you a break? Sorry to hear about your brother, i cant imagine what that must have been like for you..
Cindy - Sounds like your bday is a hard time for you too, im sorry. Its great that the photos went so well...
Kristie - Congrats on the great sleep!
Linda - Oooo i am jealous of the internla garage, i cannot transfer form car to house without waking him :( But Will has decided he is not going to sleep in the car anymore anyway grrrr.
-
Nikki - Chantelle is so cute in that pink scarf of yours. She's looks like she's grown up heaps since the last piccy?
Melissa
-
Helo ladies
Hope you have been having a nice weekend.
We went to visit DHs uncle and hs partner in hospital yesterday, they just had a baby boy. Riley Barry-John. He is just gorgeous. He is 8p 12 ounces, bigger than Jordan was and I cant remember my big boy ever being that little. I was so clucky when I left.....oh I would love to be pregnant again.
Nicole- 7th June sounds good for me. I will let you know if anything changes though. I am sorry to hear that you had another bad night. You can always come over here if you need a break or give me a ring. We all need a shoulder to cry on sometimes and it helps to talk it over. Glad to see that the boys photos went well. I am sure they looked gorgeous. I am sure we will see them in target catalogues soon enough!!!
CIndy - Glad to see that Toris photo shoot went welll also. What a little cutie to turn on the charm in front of the camera. Looks as though you may have a little stunner on your hands there.
Kell - Great news about Molly loosing the brace during the day, I bet she is loving it.
Linda - What a great idea.... we have an internal garage and i never thought to leave Jordan in the car if he was asleep. DERR FRED..... I always attempt to transfer him into his cot, most tmes unsuccessfully. even though Emma is waking a couple times at night its good you can settle her easy enough with a boob feed. I try nappy 1st and then if that doesnt work then I go for the boobies. Works everytime I find.
Krsivee - WOW on Louis's sleep, thats a great sleep. Wish all Oct bubs would take on that routine. How exciting about his 1st crawling steps. It certainly doesnt sound like it will be long and he will be off with no stopping him
Melissa - Benjamin does sound like a clever boy. It is funny how sometimes bubs just want their mummies. They certainly work us out quick thats for sure. Jordan knows that if he cries I am the 1st to get in there.... I cant help it. DH has more tollerance and tries to let him cry it out. I am a big softy though.
Well hope you all enjoy your sunday. For all the BB fans, should be a good episode tonight, another BIG SURPRISE
-
Hi girls, still not much sleep in our house at the moment but life goes on and Dp did take her from me at 6 and let me sleep untill 9 this morning which was nice of him! I just need that every day fora week and i will be caught up.
Today we went to one of those play houses and it was great, Tori had a great time and its free for kids under 1, even better!! I will definately be going again.
Krisite - good to hear you ended up doing something special for your birthday! And thats great you are willingto have us all at your place on the 7th. If you are keen before then though to go to a play house thingo some time give me a text and we can organise it.
In regards to my brother, her was only 3 when he died and as i said it happened 2 days after my 10th birthday but I was a big part in his daily physio and what not as he had some disabilities which required alot of attention and my mum had my sister to look after too so I helped out a heap and I suppose grew up pretty fast because of it. I wouldnt change a thing though even though it was always hard and still is to an extent. I dont mind talking about him though, its nice to actually brings up some good memories.
I have to ask everyone - how are your little ones going on the solids front? Tori struggles to swallow any kind of lump so everything has to be really runny and she gets over it fast too so she isnt getting much solids at the moment coz of the gagging etc. I offer them about 6 times a day and she gets a little bit in each time but its just so frustrating. I want to get more in there coz she is so active she hasnt put on any weight in ages . I have a health nurse appt in a few weeeks so will ask if she thinks its aproblem but every other baby I see is so much fatter than her.
GOtta go my dears. Looking forward to meeting everyone on the 7th. Sleep well
-
Guess What?????????your Not Going To Beleive It..........
-
chantelle slept right through last night,i woke at 6.30 and i couldnt beleive my eyes when i looked at the clock, this is the first time she has ever done this,i am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooooooooooo happy!!!!!!i am just praying she does it again tonight.
nikki
-
OMG Nikki!! I'm so excited for you!!! Yay!! I'm SSSOOO jealous!! I was up 3 times :(
-
YAY CHANTELLE!!! You must be so happy with that sleep Nikki, i just hope it keeps up :D
-
yep,i am happy.she slept all night last night but woke for one feed at 3am and straight back to sleep.i was thirsty too,so i was happy to feed her, things are definantly looking up.
nikki
-
Yay Nikki!! Thats great!
I wish Chantelle would send her sleep vibes this way... :( Emma was up at 11.30, then at 3am for an hour. She just wouldnt go back to sleep, which is really unusual. She was happy & trying to talk to me while I was up with her, but would cry if I put her back in her cot. I ended up getting up DH to help because I was so tired (worked all day yesterday too). In the end he brought her into bed with us & she slept.
I dont know what to do....
Also, I have a really sore BB :( I did a bridal fair yesterday & Emma had formula (2 bottles) & I didnt bother to express & I am really paying for it now...I've been massaging it & expressing hoping it will improve, but it is the worst I've ever had....
OK, sorry, I've just whinged all that time....
-
Go Chantelle. what a good little girl to have a full night sleep and let mummy enjoy it aswell. I bet you just feel awesome at the moment Nicole and you certainly deserve the night sleep.
Linda I hope that Emma follows suit and starts to sleep thru the night again. I am sure she will soon enough. I was up with Jordan at 4am 5am and 5.30am today. My alarm goes off at 6am so I was mega unimpressed when I finally got back to get at 5.45am....... oh well the things we do for our little bundles of joy
Cindy I am glad you enjoyed the playhouse. Nicole and i were planning on going to one at some point. Its nice to hear that DH let you sleep in for a change. I also cant wait to meet you both on the 7th.
Well we have 2 top very sore gums. They are so lumpy I expect for Jordan to have 2 top teeth by the end of the week. Mum said that he cried when I left him him for work this morning. He has never cried before so I think he is having abit of seperation anxiety. I am sure he will get past it though as he is with one of his grandmas 4 days a week.
Hope you all have a good night.
wathcing BB nominations. Its very good tonight. Michael is a tosser... wish he had of stayed though as he was interesting.
-
linda, its horrible isnt it.i dont really know what to suggest cos almost everything i tried has failed except for cc and that didnt last long cos i am too soft to put her through it.the only thing i can suggest is to get used to it,even though that sounds a bit rough i just mean that if you expect it,then you will just handle it better iykwim.i am not getting my hopes up and am still mentally prepared for a bad night every night, that way it doesnt feel like a truck has hit me when she does continually wake.
nikki
-
Nikki, I agree, I just expect it now, otherwise I'd be too disappointed. i definately couldnt do CC either, I'd much rather be up with her. I know it can't last forever. Thanks for the sympathy though! I hope C has another good night for you.
-
oh yeah, tinlids modleing agency have rung me and have accepted chantelle onto there books, yay!!!
nikki
-
Hi!
Had a great weekend. Had b'day drinks sat night and then a family brekky sunday so that was nice. Louis was so good. He was up for 4 hours yesterday and zonked in the car on the way home and was asleep even when I changed his nappy! He's sleeping has been good and bad. Sometimes he's taking longer to settle but he's sleeping in longer sets. So he might go 5-6+ hours at a time which is the best I've had in ages! So I'm not complaining at the moment. I left him in the lounge room for a few min today and when I walked past he was standing up on against the couch! cheeky little thing!
Nikki - Chantelle looks gorgeous! Wow on the sleep! That's fantastic! I'm so happy for you!
Kell- Hi - hope Wills being good for his Mum!
Tracey - Ooh it must have been so nice seeing a little baby again! I so can't wait to be p/g again either! hehe. Yes a bb fan- I'm glad Michaels gone - he drives me crazy - he's such an idiot. I bet he's been copping it off everyone today! hehe. Serves him right for thinking he's so clever. Wow Tracey - More teeth! Louis doesn't have any yet! hehe
Cindy - That's nice of dh to give you a sleep in. I got one this morning as dh had an rdo of work. The play house thing sounds great. Do little kids get much out of it?? I've never been in one. I'd like to try it out though. I'll speak with you soon. I've just got to catch up on some work as with everyone sick last week I let it all go...whoops. Got to get stuck into it for a week to catch up.
It sounds like you were (and still are) a huge help to your Mum! I can't imagine what it would have been like for you...and poor Nikki as well. Such sad stories.
I don't know how to help you with the solids (you saw how much he eats - hehe) but maybe just keep trying pureed foods and fruit and yoghurts?.......I know some babies won't eat lumpy foods but will chew on finger food if that makes sense. Maybe some toast or cheese fingers or soft cooked broccoli stalks etc....Maybe worth a try....
Linda - I'm sorry to hear your still having problems. I hope Emma sleeps well for you soon. Have you tried feeding Emma a bit more often to help clear them out?? I don't know if it would help but thats what I do just to make sure they're fully drained. Good luck!
How did you go at the bridal fair?
Sleep well!
-
It sounds like all of our bubs have gone thru this problem sleeping stage at around 6-8 months, so hopefully Linda it will pass for Emma, as it has for Will. Sorry to hear you are a bit sore, just keep expressing and it should get better :)
Kristie - Glad you had a good weekend, and that Louis was good for you :) Will is being a little angel atm, he is sleepin beautifully and just a delight when he is awake!
Cindy - Will will take small soft lumps in his food now, i spose you could just stick with purees for now and try finger foods (like kristie suggested) and get her used to different textures and then gradually intro soft small lumps in her meals... hth. Hope your mum is doing well, my mum has gone in for day surgery today, bowel cancer test, so i am picking her up looking after her etc...
Nikki - Absolutely, i always expect the worse and then am not too cranky when it doesnt go my way. even with Molly now i expect that if i get her dressed in nice clothes she will immediately get dirty - then i am resigned to changing her LOL.
-
Thanks girls. We had a better night. up once at 3am, then again at 5:30 when I brought her in with us. She stayed asleep until 8am. She did have a big meal of pumpkin at 7pm & I often miss her evening feed, so maybe that could be it?
I got rid of the blocked ducts - OUCH!! It hurt SSOOO much, but all good now :)
Kell, thats great Will is going so well.
Kristie - I'm glad you had fun for your bday!
Nikki - yay on the modelling!

Linda - oooo sounds painful, i have never had that problem. Although about four months after having Molly I needed my gall bladder out and spent the night in hospital. I forgot to express and slept thru the night ( i was soooo tired :)) and woke up the next morning with ENORMOUS boobs, really hot and sore but one feed and express and they were fine.
I think i have tonsilitis again :( so am going to dr in about 1/2 hr, mum is coming to watch the kids. Her thing yesterday went well but then she couldnt stop throwing up all afternoon so i had to take her to the hospital last night at about 10 (she rang just after i had climbed into my lovely warm bed!) but she is feeling better now. Is everyone else down to two day sleeps? Will should be at this age and sometimes he does but on some days he only has short sleeps and so has 3 or 4, i dotn mind so much because as long as he gets enough sleep overall he is fine, but i just cant plan or predict any given days behaviour - so just wondering if you are all into two day sleep routines, or are still going with the flow...

I'm still very much going with the flow. mind you, sometimes I put her down to sleep and she wants up an hr later (in other words she's played for an hr and is sick of playing in bed) so I just ignore her (as long as I know she's not hungry) and she goes to sleep for a good sleep. So I cannot predict her sleep patterns now either. She's whinging now and I only put her down 70mins ago. But it IS coming up to feed time so.......... Might just get her up. Just finished cutting up pumpkins and potatoes for my homemade pumpkin soup. Hands are blistered now! OUCH! Pumpkin was SOOOO hard! Oh well. We never get a break do we? We finish one kid and down to sleep, do some housework and the next kid wants up....*gumble* but I love my kids and wouldn't have it any other way. At least they both get some one on one attention *L*.
Oh and girls, anyone know how to shrink pictures? Dh has put the pics of the girls on our network, but I can't seem to shrink them so they are small enough to be uploaded. I only have adobe photoshop (not the full edition either) and paint. So not much to work with and I just can't find how to do it!
