Well i didn't have to feel sorry for her for long as she is back to normal again..must have been a 24 hour thing!
Still can't get used to her eating less as she was on a growth spurt for so long, we keep trying to feed her and she gets grumpy as she doesn't want it yet!!
We have the same thing with Charlie, mmack. He went through a huge growthspurt for about 2 weeks and kept wanting 240mls every 3 hours now he only wants 180mls every 4 hours.
Tegan..did you find yourself constantly trying to give him more than he wanted afterwards?
It doesn't help that she used to chew her hands when hungry, so we would offer her milk, but now she just does it because she is teething/likes the taste of them :)

Kate Thanks for the advice. It was quite funny to see their faces when I put the Bonjela in their mouths, but it must have worked they relaxed instantly.
Unfortunately, Gemma, Teagan and myself have a cold. They sound dreadful, I took them to the GP and they said there's nothing they can do since it is viral and to just work through it. They slept so much yesterday which was great, I got some much needed sleep as well. DH was fantastic he had an RDO so he got up and fed them and changed them so I could lay in bed. I feel better today so I should cope well. I'm not breast feeding anymore so I can at least take cold and flu tablets to help ease the running nose.
G&T are loving their hands at the moment, its funny to watch them try and put their whole fist in their mouth, LOL. I noticed Gemma really staring at her hand the other day, it was quite moving to watch actually.

Cooper has been sick since last night the poor thing, think he has a virus luke had a couple of days ago, the spew was so huge each time, he covered me, the lounge and himself, was yuck! had to go and have a shower at midnight as it smelt, he does too but will give him a bath soon, dont want to bath him after bottle as i am hoping he might keep this bottle down, he was sick this morning as well and was soaked in it! he seems fine otherwise though, happy enough so i guess its just a bug, will keep my eye on it anyhow
Otherwise the morning sucked, Luke was a smart mouth all morning so i went off, great way to wake up! Then Richard(nephew who lives here) didnt get up for school, gggrr to him, so ended up driving him to school as well, so half an hour trip i didnt want to take!
Otherwise both kids are asleep here for now so pretty quiet so better go get stuck into some floor cleaning, was feeling a bit sick myself before and thought i cant get anyone to come and help me if i get sick cause the house is looking like crap lol
Tegan- Matilda started commando crawling at 4 1/2 months so maybe Charlie will be an early crawler too?
Tegan: Cooper does the same thing, he screams when he cant go anywhere, so he hates tummy time, just tried him with a towel under his chest and he went a bit better with it this time, still doesnt really like it, he has really strong neck muscles so not too worried about it
Cooper just loves sitting up, just doesnt realise we are holding him up lol and gets very cranky when our arms get too tired to hold him there!
Well done on the weight loss Emma, that's something that will make you feel better about yourself once you get to your goal weight. I have about 20kgs to go, ugh!
Belinda it must be going around my girlfriend (Nickers on BB) her son has been throwing up the past two days and now her husband has been as well, I'm worried about her she's only about 6wks pregnant! Hope she doesn't get it. I was at their place on Sat. I'm praying G&T don't get it, their cold is enough to worry about!
I need to go and get changed I can smell chuck on me somewhere!??
Briohny: Yeah it must be and i am hoping i dont get it, always a worry though when someone is in early pregnancy, hope all is ok for her and i hope your kids dont get it either
He seems better now thankfully, kept last bottle down and had a huge sleep, so hopefully he is on the mend now

Just thought i would drop in and see if all is well, sorry to hear some of you have the flu.
My 2yr old is driving me mad at the moment bubs are also having a restless day Cassie thinks they are her bubbies keeps trying to put the dummy in when they are already settled its so anoying.
Ah the joys of the helpful older child
They are so helpful its painful at times!
The gastro is going round here too...my husband was up all night being ill...hoping Kirsten and I don't catch it :(

Went to target to try and get a bath thing for Cooper to be on but they had nothing, ended up getting heaps of outfits for Mason though for 39 dollars so was worth the trip in the end, so he just needs a couple of warm things and he set for size 2 now
Briohny - Please tell Nickers I also had gastro at 6-7 weeks pregnant and obviously Kirsten was fine! In fact I was sick with different bugs for about 75% of the pregnancy..I think babies are tough!!

What a day today has been - Hubby has bad gastro and Kirsten is not well, she has been screaming all day and not eating much, she seems congested but also I think she is teething. Don't feel too great myself in my stomach but have to keep going to look after everyone :(

I went to bed with a terrible headache and woke up with it, was horrible this morning with both kids needing things and my head pounding!
Ended up taking more tablets and laying down with an icepack while Mason watched tv and Cooper was napping, did help at least, it has eased off now
Thanks Belinda..I am not too bad and Kirsten seems a lot better today, just a bit choked up still..poor hubby is still not well at all and in bed though!
Glad your headache has eased off. I had a headache yesterday and my mum and aunty were talking in really loud voices and it was driving me nuts so I can imagine what it was like with noisy kids there!

Mmac if your hubby is anything like mine its like having another child in the house good thing for me when the house gets sick i always seem to miss it.
Mine is not too bad when he is sick, he just crawls into bed and stays there until better. I really miss his help with Kirsten though, he is really good at helping with her!

Mine follows me aroud like a lost puppy and it is sweet that he thinks I can fix a cold but It dose get on my nerves after about a week.
My man is due for another cold/flu soon now that Ive spoken about it ,it will happen soon.
My DH still goes to work when sick, he is well trained lol, or is it he doesnt want to hang out with me lol
So does mine, unless he is really sick...he can hardly stand up at the moment so can't really go into work :(
well strap him to a chair and give him a push start in the direction of work lol
i am kidding :) hope that he improves real soon, not nice when they are so ill

They both woke up at 2am this morning for a feed, very unusual-I was not impressed. Then decided to lay there and talk and giggle to each other for another 40min. I was laughing in bed but DH who has to get up at 5am and drive 1.5hrs to work was not laughing. As much as I didn't want to quash their happy party, I had to go and put their dummies in to try and shush them. Cheaky buggers.
Hi all, I am still here! Sorry to hear so many have been (or are) ill, I hope all the mums, dads and bubs are well soon. I had gastro 5 times during my pg with Tom and he is just fine so there is another good story for Nickers. LOL Belinda at your hubby going to work sick!
Tom is back to normal now, and even seems to have settled back into his normal sleeping routine. For a couple of days after being ill he was waking often in the night still, but last night was twice, and once the night before so I think he is settling back down.
Lots happening here, I'll spill the details shortly (nothing like a little suspense LOL).

Thanks Belinda. I just thought of it, and wasn't sure. I've found some gorgeous designs on the net. I'll get my cake maker who made my wedding cake to do it, she was fantastic and it was the best chocolate mud cake I've ever eaten!

PMSL girls - you are all hopeless!
My news is that we just bought a house. We have been renting for 12 months as we sold our house a year ago, unexpectedly quickly (we hadn't even put it on the market yet) and with a 30 day settlement. Then the day after signing the contract I discovered that I was pg with Tom. So we found a house to rent and signed a 12 month lease as we (especially me) didn't want to move again in a hurry. Word of advice, never move while pg, esp first tri when you are exhausted and sick. So, long story short, our lease is up, the rent is going up and we now have to face moving again. But we found a house we like, I've been running around like crazy for 2 days organising finance etc. We still have to wait for everything to go unconditional, but it's looking good so far. Lots of packing ahead of me, I will prob be scarce for a while LOL!

Omg i've had a rotten day so far! Firstly i was late to my physio appointment. Then i went to go get a B12 injection coz im very low in it. But no one locally had any in stock and the manufactuer doesnt have a date of when they will get any! So i had a wasted appt and now cant get any B12 so dont know what im gonna do about that. Then i came home to notice out air con on the wall was leaking water all over the wall and carpet and tv so now the air con is pretty much stuffed and it's such a hot day here too. Tv is ok though. Then DH got stung by a wasp on his bum(thought that was pretty funny though lol) Oh what a nightmare!

Tegan: all i can say is the only way is up from there surely! And have to say lol at the bum sting :)
All is ok here, Cooper seems better today though still not wanting all his bottles but will probably take him a day or so to get back to normal
So quiet here today, Luke and mason at school and daycare and cooper has slept all day nearly, so cant complain
Thinking of going out tonight, we shall see

I went to Tweddle today. Was very informative and reassuring, but stressful. Both G&T were up at 7am, we had to be there at 8.45am and didn't leave until 3pm. In that time I think they only slept 2 hrs in total. So I've had fun trying to learn these new techniques on overly tired babies! Hubby and I had a fight because he didn't come with me so I was explaining to him what to do-he cracked it because I happened to be speaking during the sports report! SORRY!!! So as punishment I stormed out of the house to visit a friend for an hour, I needed a break. And guess what, poor Gemma and Teagan apparently started pretty much as soon as I left. So for an hour they were so upset. I came home to a house in distress-suffer to him for not listening to me. I felt so guilty for abandoning them for my own selfish needs.
They were upset because they were so hot in their bedroom, I honestly feel like I am doing things on my own sometimes, common sense things aren't common sense to some people obviously????
Sorry this isn't the Boo Hoo room. LOL.

Awww Kate look at your ticker piccie......your girls are totally gorgeous!! And they look so alike!
Nothing much happening here. I was supposed to have my gallbladder surgery on thurs but I got all prepped for surgery and ready to be wheeled up when it was cancelled due to the machine breaking down!! The poor guy that was before me was knocked out, incision made, tube inserted and when they put the gas into his tummy he blew up like a balloon!WTF!! The machine didn't stop so the poor guy probably has the worst shoulder tip pain from all that gas in his diaphram. Man I was so glad it wasn't me!! Never mind though, I'm on the next list for April. Not long to wait really.
Apart from that Jasmine is doing wonderfully. Still such a happy social little girl. Gemma is really talking to her now and trying to play with her. Its so cute to watch. Jasmine just adores her. She's still not sleeping through. Wakes at about 4 am for a bottle. Last night it was 6pm, 12am and 4am. I'm not fussed as she drinks the bottle(with her eyes closed!) and then goes straight back to bed. I'm only up 20mins tops.
Am adjusting to working fulltime quite well and the girls are adjusting well too. Gemma just LOVES daycare still. Jasmine loves daycare cause there are so many people to talk too!LOL They call her miss social there as all she does is talk!PMSL
