    Morning everyone...

OK so I'm afraid I'm starting bad habits with Max. He slept in bed with me again last night! What do I do...the kid screams!

He goes to bed around 6:30pm...sleeps in his cot till about 10pm, he wakes, I resettle him, and he then doesn't let me put him down in his cot without chucking major wobbly (he literally knows when the cot 'decsent' is about to happen even though he's asleep)....I don't know whether it's his gums or his guts (or even temperature) bothering him! He really flaps his arms about like a Pork Chop (love that call Viv!)

I put him down but no patting etc calms him...he's hysterical! I end up taking him back to bed with me so we can both get some z's. It's OK to do that when DH is away, but not while he is....oh what to do!

He seems happy this morning though...little punk!

I know it's more than likely his teeth, but I don't want to keep drugging him up!

Thanks for listening to this me me me post!

Gosh - I am sooo not looking forward to the teething thing! So far there isn't even the slightest sign of a tooth. She has been really clingy lately but I have kind of put that down to the HUGE disruption of routine from last weekend. Things have settled. She woke at 145 last night and then at 715 this morning. Wednesday night she slept from 730pm until 530 am!! Woohoo. I have to admit that when she is "routined" she sleeps really well.
I know what you guys are saying re having a cold. But I can't blame BFing on having a continous cold for the last 6 weeks! I think C and I keep passing it back and forth from one another. And me being so run down - basically back at work almost full time AND doing all associated baby stuff as DH works so many hours (22 hours yesterday!!!!) doesnt really help me any.
Anyway - enough of my whinging and feeling sorry for myself. Today isnt too bad a day at work - ran out of things to do at around 10 so am pretty much waiting on return phone calls. Thought I would hop on here and see how everyone is going.
Had better go - lunch time!! Very important!! Hope you all have a great day. mwah

Julia Welcome to my world! we definately get more sleep if he is with me, also its too darn cold at night to keep feeding and resettling him especially if he is hysterical! i am trying to get to sleep in his cot but he has a lil sleep first then is up nearly every hour if i dont bring him to bed? so i spose i dont really have any advice just that he will probably get used to it and make even more of scene iykwim! But you have to do whats working right? oh how jealous i am of parents of babies who sleep all night

I am NOOOOO expert! I think the expert left the building, stage left!
I think it's a bit of luck as well as good management. Best thing is, this wont last forever, there'll be a time when they would no sooner sleep in you bed than fly to the moon!
