What am I doing home on a friday afternoon? We got the call from daycare to pick L up 'cos he had a fever, a runny nose etc. Luckily DH had the day off so he could pick him up and I came home at lunchtime as DH had movie tix booked for this afternoon. L seems pretty good now. He had a sleep when he got home, has had lunch and a bottle and a bit of a play and is kicking back in his bouncer watching cartoons and playing with toys.
What is it with you Victorians and your football? Celtic - hope your foot gets better soon Nic - hope all is well your way. Becky - have you got a new BB account? The photo of Chels is gorgeous. Kaz - you're going to be 35 next year too! I'm not the only oldie around here now If you going to have 5 (like your DH wants) you'll need to get started soon LOL

With bubs birthday so close to Xmas whatever he doesn't get for his birthday there's an opportunity to give it at Xmas.

Amelia - Sounds like you got some great pressies for Rhys! I've just bought Kieran a Fisher Price cement truck for his b'day. We have so much stuff already thanks to Joel so he doesn't really need anything else!
Well, K is absolutely not interested in b'feeding any more. He doesn't even try. Last night I tried to feed him before bed and he just shook his head at me and cried . I rang the MCHN today and she said it sounds like he is self-weaning. I was SO hoping to make it to 12 months! I'll keep persevering, but I know it's a losing battle. I gave him a cup of cows milk today and he had a little bit, but he didn't seem to like it that much. I might try warming it a little for him next time. The MCHN said as long as he gets three serves of dairy a day he'll be fine.
Oh, and K pulled himself up to standing for the first time today! (Yes, I know, he's probably the last bub here to do that LOL) He has been pulling himself up to his knees for ages, but he finally made it all the way up today! I had a friend over so I think he did it just to impress her

craig would kill me if i didnt say, GO HAWKS!!!!!! loch is a hawks and lions supporter. im not into sports AT ALL so i let craig do all that. he has to work tomorrow but is going to sneak down and watch the game at the pub. lol. lucky his brother owns the company....

Trish - you've done such a good job with K, try not to be too sad! I missed feeding Mateo when he weaned too but I was so glad that it was not a stressful process and at least they chose to do it themselves hey? Can you give him a bottle of formula at night for those extra nutrients and to fill his little belly before bed, or does he not take it?
Mo - Hope Maddi's party goes well.
Kellie - Giraffe sounds gorgeous! You are so good doing a trial run, I'm just fluking mine the day before and hoping for the best!

Saffi - Glad to hear L is feeling better. I also had Mateo home from daycare yesterday and today with an ear infection (and maybe cause secretly I was quite happy to keep him! So much for trying to keep the daycare routine for the school hols!)
Dom and I are off to the GC for the wknd to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary so shall chat to you all Monday!

Mo i know how you feel! I was in labour when the rucgby league Grandfinal was on and Dh was watching it instead of rubbing my back! lol! Hope Maddis party is wonderfull!

Well Myles is a little snot box! We are heading to the coast for the weekend so might have to dunk him in the salt water! Had my hair cut today and bought some swimmers but dont know if i will go swimming i dont want people trying to save a me thinking i am a baby humpback! lol!
