*ahem* GO HAWKS!!!

Boo Kellie! LOL! A giraffe birthday cake sounds gorgeous! I'm cheating and getting a baker to do K's cake.

Mo - How'd you score tickets? How exciting, I'd love to go to a grand final, especially a Hawks one!

Ange - I love the idea of a Hawks cake!

Saffi - Poor L, I hope he feels better soon. If you live in Vic you have to love AFL or you just wouldn't fit in LOL! I mean, what would there be to talk about?

Celtic - Ouch! Stay off that foot now! How nice of your friend to let you sleep in today, I could only dream!

Amelia - Sounds like you got some great pressies for Rhys! I've just bought Kieran a Fisher Price cement truck for his b'day. We have so much stuff already thanks to Joel so he doesn't really need anything else!

Well, K is absolutely not interested in b'feeding any more. He doesn't even try. Last night I tried to feed him before bed and he just shook his head at me and cried

. I rang the MCHN today and she said it sounds like he is self-weaning. I was SO hoping to make it to 12 months! I'll keep persevering, but I know it's a losing battle. I gave him a cup of cows milk today and he had a little bit, but he didn't seem to like it that much. I might try warming it a little for him next time. The MCHN said as long as he gets three serves of dairy a day he'll be fine.

Oh, and K pulled himself up to standing for the first time today! (Yes, I know, he's probably the last bub here to do that LOL) He has been pulling himself up to his knees for ages, but he finally made it all the way up today! I had a friend over so I think he did it just to impress her

Saffi i don't know what it is, but it's why we are having M's party on the Sunday.
kinda a shame people would rather watch the game than come to her party.

craig would kill me if i didnt say, GO HAWKS!!!!!! loch is a hawks and lions supporter. im not into sports AT ALL so i let craig do all that. he has to work tomorrow but is going to sneak down and watch the game at the pub. lol. lucky his brother owns the company....

Ange - LOL at Lu's cake! i think that's hilarious!

Trish - you've done such a good job with K, try not to be too sad! I missed feeding Mateo when he weaned too but I was so glad that it was not a stressful process and at least they chose to do it themselves hey? Can you give him a bottle of formula at night for those extra nutrients and to fill his little belly before bed, or does he not take it?

Mo - Hope Maddi's party goes well.

Kellie - Giraffe sounds gorgeous! You are so good doing a trial run, I'm just fluking mine the day before and hoping for the best!

Kate - hope you and L enjoyed your day off with Craig today.

Saffi - Glad to hear L is feeling better. I also had Mateo home from daycare yesterday and today with an ear infection (and maybe cause secretly I was quite happy to keep him! So much for trying to keep the daycare routine for the school hols!)

Dom and I are off to the GC for the wknd to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary so shall chat to you all Monday!

Mo i know how you feel! I was in labour when the rucgby league Grandfinal was on and Dh was watching it instead of rubbing my back! lol! Hope Maddis party is wonderfull!

Well Myles is a little snot box! We are heading to the coast for the weekend so might have to dunk him in the salt water!

Had my hair cut today and bought some swimmers but dont know if i will go swimming i dont want people trying to save a me thinking i am a baby humpback! lol!

well nixon's appoint went well yest all up we were there for 2hrs so i had plenty of toys to keep him entertained and he PASSED his hearing test! but doc hasnt ruled out grommets as he still has fluid on his ears. he will look in his ears on op day, if there is fluid he will make a small incision, if its watery he will just drain. if its thick and gluey he will drain and then insert grommets so wont know till he comes out of it on the day.

i go for the dragons but live in sharks territory so was going for them tonight... very dissapointing effort, well i have to jump on the melbourne band wagon now seeings i lived there for 4 yrs!

went to my friends babies 1st birthday party today and lochie was an absolute dream. after only having 30 mins sleep all day and eating all sorts of carp like chocie biccies and cake. he was still lovely. fell asleep in the car on the way home(as they do) and i transfered him to bed so he could get a bit more sleep before dinner.
lochie has 6 teeth now(2 on the bottom and 2 fully out ones on the top and two on the top that have just showed themselves) and i can see 2 more on the top making there way down which is annoying him a bit. biting EVERYTHING esp me lol.im trying those teething tablets and lachlan loves them lol. after i give him 2 he opens his mouth for more. hahha

hope you have fun away amber and terri.
trish, i hope k gets back on the boob for you.... and wohooo for standing up!
celtic. i hope you have a short wait before your new bundle is on the way.

Well fanks for all the birfday wishes everyone. I'm having a great day and had a cool BBQ yesterday. I got lots of ace presents, my best one is a rabbit that comes out of a hat. (Mum says it's a puppet, but i done no what she's talkin about.)
The best part of my day was having cake, it was sooo yummy i couldn't shove enouf in. I want to eat cake every day now. (But i bet my mean mum wont let me)
Anyway, thanks so much evereeeone, i'm off for a nap. This turing one thing sure is tireing!
