Maddi's party went well, As for presents she got,
A little blue lounge chair to match the our lounge ones, a bike, sea shell pool/sand pit thing, Elmo toys, clothes, money & books.
We had an Elmo pinata & cake she's loves the pinata keeps dragging it along the ground lol.
The cake turned out so nice we didn't want to eat it.
She's had 1 30min nap all day, so she should crash any minute now.

Lu glad you had a good day yesterday

    Hello all,
Been too busy to post lately, we all had the flu, had a wedding last weekend, and really are only just recovering. Fingers crossed it is the last bout of illness for winter I am so over being sick!!

Wow, lots of bubbas turning 1 soon Happy Birthday to all those that have already passed the milestone, and Happy Birthday to those that are coming up.

Too many personals to respond to, but someone mentioned tooth brushing (Saffi?) I try to brush Caden's with a cloth but he usually bites me really hard. It is very difficult but I try as best I can. I am hoping what I do is enough for the mo until he is bigger and wont bite me. I am a bit paranoid about tooth decay but hopefully it wont do any harm.

As for birthdays, our planning is in full swing. As I mentioned before, we have a combined 60th and first, so it will be a really big party. DH is stressed about $ but I feel that it is a once of, and a milestone, so cause for celebrating! He is a bit of a tight A$#E so I would expect him to kick up a song and dance.

Well, as for us, going good here now the flu is over. Caden is back to his happy sleepy self and the snoring had gone away . He is getting really good on his feet now and climbs and walks everywhere with very few accidents. I have had him go number 1s and 2s on the potty lately as well. I know he is too young to toilet train but if I time it right he is quite good. I hope it will make him more eager when it IS time to TT.

Ok, gotta go get some uni stuff done, catchyas soon!

    Evening all

Celtic - L is okay now, thanks for asking. Actually after a sleep on Friday morning once we got him home from daycare he was fine.
Trish - great that K is pulling himself up. You've done so well with the b'feeding. At least it was his choice - and isn't that what weaning's all about?
Nic - that's great that Nix passed his hearing test. GL for the op

Really got to pull my finger out with the party planning. We're only having a small get together so won't need much planning, but still should make it memorable (for us anyway).

Anyway, off to work in the morning so I best be off to bed. Nighty - night!

Oh no I struggle with personals now that loads of people have joined us back again (which is a good thing!). Will just keep this short!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY To Lu...saw the pics of your cake! Cute! Just lucky the Hawks won hey!
Kim - Sorry to hear about your closing down....I'll have to pick up some bargains now!!
Trish - yay for K getting upright...what were we ever bothered about!!!

Yay for the Hawks fans out there! I am not at all interested in footy but DH is, so we went away over the long weekend with a few friends to watch it. Well...I watched Max while everyone else drank themselves stupid yelling at the TV! It would have been a lot worse if Collingwood were in the final (Yep DH is a supporter...tragic!) I think Max's sleep is starting to get better....but I can see the next two teeth under the skin so who knows what will happen next!

Better go....I'm buggered and need to clean up before bed. Gotta brush the dog too who is in the royal show on Wednesday!

Hope everyone else is going OK....sorry for the personal attention...I am useless!!

Amber it was an Elmo one, Gonna put a few pics up on FB.
Maddi ended up going to bed at 9:30pm, so it only took an hour for her to unwind from all the excitement not too bad.
