Hi all,
Hope you have all had a great day. My little man has been great today. Woke me up early but that was the worst of it. He has slept well and generally been a pleasure to be with.

Well as far as tough love goes. Been there done that. We started being tough on Ethan a while ago. It has paid off for us. At night we left Ethan to cry a bit when he was about 6 months and we haven't looked back. It only took 2 nights and he started sleeping through. Now he only wakes up if something is really wrong, which isn't often. He is also a whingy bum when he is awake. We just leave him. He gets plenty of kisses and cuddles because we love him so much so I don't think it is doing him any harm. He is started to look for attention. Started having little tanties. It is cute. He cries and throws himself on the ground and puts his head down. He has started looking around to see what we are going to do about it. When we do nothing he just gets up and gets on with it. It is hard not to laugh because it is so cute.

Anyway, I'm off to bed.
Thanks for all the advice regarding milk everyone. I have decided to chill out a bit.

Becky thats the one we took Myles too! ther is one in logan cental called wriggle it but havent been there!
Julia have you seen the new dulux add! All the dogs like your charlie! i love it!

anyway! not much happening here! Off to the markets in the morning to get fruit for Myles party! then the inlaws are over! So cant wait to let Myles play with his cousins!

Amber - we got a Fisher and Paykal upside down fridge freezer in stainless steel. It only just fits into the cabinet space. Now I have to go out and buy heaps of food to fill it. LOL

Going to the hairdressers tomorrow. Can't wait!

Just a quickie as I am supposed to be making Caden's sailor suit for his big day coming up.

All is good here, C is a bit grumbly but I think it is the molars moving around. Other than that he has been such a star! I hope it holds out til his birthday, and thereafter come to think of it

Hi everyone

Well...2 days till Max is one! So exciting. I am going to put streamers and balloons up tomorrow night so on Sunday he can have them all around the house for when he wakes up in the morning! You only turn 1 once after all!

M slept much better last night (next tooth came too...yay) and today he didn't have an afternoon nap (my mum was here so he was too excited) I hope he sleeps well tonight! Need him to be happy for his party. (or should I say the first adult party we have had for a year!)

Now...Cows Milk. M isn't that keen on it, but I make sure he gets plenty of dairy in yogurt, cheese etc. He does drink it, but it has to be really cold. I don't really like milk either!! I don't worry too much, so Alz just going with the flow is probably the best thing!

Tough love - I just can't! I'm like you Amber! No problem for anyone else if they want to do it, I just can't...it goes against everything I feel!! That would probably explain why Amber and I both have boob hungry, co-sleeping feinds! I can tell when he is doing a little whinge and he can put himself back to sleep but I just can't leave him when he WAILS! It just rips my heart out!

Kaz Max had a few spots on his face when he was last sick (and a few randoms on his bod) and it was a viral thing which he got over pretty quickly. Hope it's the same for you!

Amelia I am going to copy your routine!! does he do that EVERY day?

Kellie I think our cakes are different.....I didn't see anything in my recipie you mentioned...I hope I read it properly! I'll put a pic on facebook! If my cake is easier, I can send you the recipie!

Trish How good did your camping trip look! I wanna do that!

Amber I haven't seen the new Dulux ad! We haven't worn off the new 'fox' bug yet! Hope your sleeps get better soon. As awful as it is sometimes, I'm kinda glad I know someone out there is going through what I am and does things in a very similar way! Oh and congrats on winning your award

Saffi Enjoy the hairdressers. I had a massage today and it was so nice!!! Like I saw on some cheezy foxtel show about babies.....Motherhood is a juggling act...just make sure one of the 'balls' is you!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAX

Just a quick one tonight ... we are in Adelaide, left at 9am yesterday and got here at 10.30 last night. Worst trip ever, the girls played up badly and we stopped at least every half hour. Its a big ask for them to travel so far, just normally they are great. I think Tay is just at the stage that she is on the move so much, she cant keep still.

Anyway, Boomba and Alz I really relate to your posts about the 1 year olds and their little tanties, we are going through exactly thing! Naughty but cute!

Tay is still covered in her rash, 4 days now. Two opinions, both say viral but one said possibly foot and mouth. I am tempted to get a 3rd opinion as its getting worse not better. Poor Tay, she is such a little trouper and it must be bothering her.

Anyway I wont be on here much this week as I am in Adelaide. So have a great week everyone and chat sooN!
