we had Tyron's birthday party today too, he was such a good boy, i made a catapillar cake, some bug cupcakes and he had a bumble bea outfit! he didnt stay in it too long though cause it was pretty hot. it was a lovely afternoon and ive been uploading pics on FB tonight.
Glad Myles had a lovely party also!
and now i can be the first in to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY HARRY!!

A big happy Birthday to Max for yesterday, I am so sorry I missed it! :-)
I hope everyone is well.
We had another bad night last night... I was up and down like a yoyo . I really do think its Tiera's teeth coming through cuz she also has nappy rash and has had a few runny poos lately which is all things she went through with the first two. I wish they would just come through and it get all over and done with. I hate seeing Tiera likes this, its breaks my heart!
Tough love - Now i know this was last weeks topic, but I haven't yet put my two bobs worth in! hehehe When Tiera was 5 mths I started having a lot of trouble breasting feeding 9 i was so much pain and got Mastitus several times, at the same times Tiera really started fighting with me when it came to sleep time. I had always pat her to sleep but it got to the stage where that was hopeless and the only thing I could do was put her to sleep on the boob (which was stupidly painful). So much of my time was spent trying to get her to sleep, then keep her to sleep while I got up, then I'd be checking on her all the time to make sure she didn't wake up and roll off the bed. I was depressed, felt I was failing in every way poosible when it came to being a mum. Was getting so depressed I had no choice but to seek help.... Talked to my mum, the comm nurse and a tricillian nurse. They all told me I had to let her cry and she'd learn to put herself to sleep.... This tore me to pieces!!! I got a referal for Tricillian, but still didnt know how I was going to cope for 6 weeks until they could get me in... So mum came to stay for 3 days... Phew! It was so horrible at first, I cryed more than Tiera did! lol Mum was good and sat with me. After day 2 Tiera was as good as gold! I had no more tears and neither did Tiera!!! Now sometimes T has a bit of a cry before she falls asleep, but nothing drastic and then she'll just go off to sleep. It didnt take long before I started feeling human again (unfortuately after having to give up BF as 6 weeks of non stop pain). I do believe if it doesn't bother you to put your baby to sleep or may with them so they fall asleep, then thats great, but for me that was a rolling stone thats just wasn't meant to be!

Both my boys are having naps so I thought I'd put my feet up *ahhh*. Joel doesn't normally nap anymore, but we had such a big weekend that he was almost comatose after lunch LOL. We visited friends who have moved to the country on Saturday, they have a couple of kids so Joel & K had a great time. Yesterday we had a BBQ lunch with our good friends and pretty much weeded our garden the rest of the day. We are all very tired today!
Our friend's yesterday have a plastic Little Tikes rocking horse and K LOVED it! He rocked on it as soon as we put him on it and made clicking "horsey" sounds non-stop, it was so cute! I want to get him one, but they are so dear to buy new and hard to get second hand. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled.
Pish - I hope those teeth pop through soon! We've been having some shocking nights here too. K popped a tooth a couple of days ago, but I can see more on the surface.
Star - Nice to see you in here! How's Mateo going?
Nic - You must be tired after Tyron's party! Hee hee, a bumble bee outfit sounds so cute, I'll have to check out your pics soon!
Karen - Enjoy your time in Adelaide! Your trip doesn't sound like much fun, hopefully it's better on the way home.
Amber - How did Myles' monkey party go? I bet he had a great day!
Julia - How did Max's party go? Did your giraffe cake work out?

Trish - How lovely to have the two boys down together! :-) That must be a real rarity for you! Mateo is going great! His eczema has finally cleared up on his little face so he's looking adorable and doing everything all the other bubs are doing - throwing funy little tantrums, getting closer to walking and just being cheeky in general. Daycare is still a nightmare for the both of us but apart from those days he is a very happy little man!
Did you end up going for a surf on your camping weekend?
Nickers - Just saw your photos of Tyron on FB - soooo cute!
As for tough love, I think Mums have to follow their instinct and do what is best for their own children. What works for some mums and bubs won't work for others.

Wow, how fast has that year gone? I remember this time last year Nic! I remember all the updates from the hospital, I can't believe it was a whole year ago! I hope have a wonderful day together!

Star - I'm glad Mateo is going so well! Nah, I didn't go surfing on our trip, the water was sooo cold! I used to surf anytime of year pre-kids, but I think now I'm a mum I've become too sensible LOL!
We are going caravaning again in a few weeks time over the Melbourne Cup long weekend. DH gets Monday off too so we have 4 days. We're going to Wilson's Prom, it's so awesome down there, I can't wait for our boys to experience it! Weather pending, I may just pack my board.

Tyron is having a good day, so is mummy cause both boys are asleep atm!
he had fun with his pressie's thismorning, so did Nixon and then we went up the rd to a cafe that has a play centre in it (only a small one) wanted to walk up but its been raining all day, met a gf up there, had lunch etc. i have uploaded his party pics on FB, will upload more of today soon.
Trish- ahh yes i can remember all the text msg's from everyone etc also its weird a year has gone quick but then in other aspects it feels like Ty's been here all along! (like u cant imagine it again without them)
Mo- LOVE your Avater and your belly!! How you going? you guys like my new avvy?!
Now i am off to pack our hospital bag as Nixon & myself need to be at the hossy at 6am for his op....bit nervous now i know he will be fine but havent had my baby back in hospital since he was born and went through all that.

TIERA AND I HOPE YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY
Hi to everyone else.
We still haven't had a good nights sleep, but Tiera has been down now for almost 2 hrs, so I got to have an hrs nap, which was nice.
I met up with my Mother's group and went for a 5K walk which we are going to be doing weekly. It was great and I so glad to be going back to M/G I REALLY need to get out of the house and Tiera loves playing with other kiddies. I want to give her as much interactions with other kids as possible. We start swimming tomorrow so that is going to be a lot of fun. Josh has the day off so I am really looking forward to having us all there!
Tirsh - Your trip sounds exciting! I hope you have a good time
Nickers - Good luck with everything tomorrow. It must be worrying having your little man go into hossy, but I'm sure all will go to be plan and work out for the better.

Well Chels is really close to walking now! She can toddle along holding only 1 hand now for about 20 steps. Soon I think.... I dont think she will quite make it for her birthday but it wont be long! Hmmmm... dont know what Im doing re: a birthday cake now. I was doing the butterfly but now Im just not sure again. Need inspiration.... LOL

Sorry I am running a bit behind with the birthday wishes! have been really bad at popping in here now that i am working from home. I sit in front of the computer all day and when the work is done...I just don't feel like looking at the screen anymore. Apologies to all that I have missed.
Only 3 more days until Caitlyn is 1 - boohoo! I cannot believe it has gone so quickly. We are having her party on Saturday and it looks like it is going to be a small one which is fine by me. there are only 4 kids in her room at daycare and one of them I am NOT going to invite.....i know its not her sons fault but I think i would scratch one mothers eyes out - she constantly calls Caitlyn "fat b!tch" and while it is supposed to be a "cutesie" name for her - its just not right and even after being asked not to she still does it so I dont think I should invite them.
Anyway - I rang the doc today for my results and while it musnt be REALLY bad news....its not good news. I have to go back and see them tomorrow. The fact that they left a spot open for me does not point to good things. so looks like i will be paying Townsville a visit in November. Nice in one way....not in another.
Anyway - had better get back to it.
