    Getting in early to say.....

    Happy birthday Ryan

    Happy birthday Ethan

Nic - good luck to you and Nixon for tomorrow. Hope the surgery goes well and he is back to his old self (or better) really soon.
Rebecca - I really worry sometimes about how people talk to their kids. It would never occur to me to call a baby a b-tch. I was in the shops the other day and a women said really loudly to her daughter that she couldn't have something because her father didn't pay maintenance! What sort of damage is that doing to the poor kid?
Hope the news at the Docs is not as bad as you expect.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TYRON!!!! Sounds like you had a lovely day with your Mum and big brother.

Nickers - thinking of you and Nixon tomorrow.

Rebecca - as all the other mothers I am horrified that someone thinks it is OK to call a baby such a terrible name. I would be ropeable if anyone said that about my child.

Totally agree with Nerida - I don't think some people realise the damage they can cause to their children. I see too much of it and now that I am a Mum it gets to me even more than it used to. I just can't understand it.

Trish - LOL. I also went camping over the school holidays and couldn't get into the water, whereas I would jump straight in before - we're getting too soft! (Mind you I'm in QLD so I have no excuse!) Wilson't prom is so beautiful - the boys will have an absolute ball!

    Night to all.

    Happy Birthday Ryan and Ethan!

Although I am probably too late, good luck today Nic. I'm sure all will go well

Rebecca - hope your results are ok

Not much new with us, Tahlia has been so miserable all week, I dont know whether I should take her to the doctors or not, I think I can see her other top tooth coming through, but I'm not sure. I'd hate for her to be sick and me not doing anything about it!

Hello everyone!! Been a busy beaver then a sickly beaver but..

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ETHAN, TYRON, HARRY, MAX & MY TERROR-PUSS!!

All the babies are growing up so fast!! I'm in denial! *sniff*. Been going crazy on the garden (as you can see on facebook) and then a jerry-can spilt petrol all through my car driving back from Sydney and today is the first day I haven't had a screaming headache and extreme nausea!! Did a test got a BFN but may have been a bit early but have a feeling there's no bun in the oven yet.

Hope all is well, did the garlic thing on Ryans ear only had to do it for a day and he stopped scratching his ear! When the doctors fail go to the garden treatments hey! Hehe

Hope all is well, going to go cuddle my boy

    Afternoon all,
Thanks for the birthday wishes for my little man. I can't believe he is 1. Taking him out for his first babycinno this afternoon with my sister and mil.

Well good news on the in laws moving front. As they are moving to New Zealand, we are moving into their house. It is huge which will be a nice change from this matchbox that we live in. Not sure how I will keep on top of the cleaning but there is plenty of room for # 2. We are going to start trying in 2 weeks. Very excited. Hopefully I will get preg faster this time.

Anyway, little man is waking up for lunch so better go.

HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY TO RYAN AND ETHAN!!!

I hope you are both having wonderful days

alz - Woohoo on moving to a bigger house! Is it close to where you already are? And good luck TTC in a couple of weeks, how exciting!

Celtic - Yuck about the petrol in your car, I would have a splitting headache too, I can't handle strong smells. I used to work in the perfume dept. at Myer and had to quit because I kept getting migraines and blood noses LOL! Sorry you got a BFN , are you overdue for AF yet? Maybe it's just a bit too early. I didn't get a BFP with K until I was 2 days overdue for AF.

Kellie - I can soooo relate to a miserable baby this week! K has been an absolute shocker, always grumpy, always whinging and crying and sometimes screaming at the top of his lungs. Not fun! I'm sure it's his top teeth as well, I can see them bulging on the surface. I hope Tahlia settles down for you soon .

Star - In QLD there is no excuse to not get in the water! (Just kidding ) But seriously, Victoria water is FREEZING all year around. I went surfing at the Prom with a GF years ago and we were both shivering so bad and became really numb . It was winter though!

Saffi - What's news with you guys? You've been a bit quiet about yourself! How's L going?

Rebecca - That your test results are OK. I cannot BELIEVE that women at your DC! There is no way you can say fat b!tch in a "cute" way, I dread to think of how she speaks to her own kids!

Becky - How exciting that Chelsea is nearly walking! It's such an exciting time!!

Mo - I'm glad to hear the m/s is starting to ease up. There is nothing worse.

Pish - I hope you had a better night with Tiera last night! Wow, a 5 km walk is very good of you!

Nic - I'm glad Tyron had a great birthday. I hope everything went well with Nixon today, I've been thinking of you both. Oh and I LOVE your new avvy BTW!

Hi to everyone else! Not much to say around here apart from K is being a shocker. I hope these teeth come through really soon, I'm going crazy! He has some new tricks, if you ask "Did you bump your head?" he starts to hit his head, it's so cute! Another one he does in his highchair - I say "Put your hands behind your head" and he does and looks like he is relaxing, sooo funny! They are such sponges at this age!

    Evening all!

Alz - how fantastic that your ILs are letting you move into their place. I am sure you are very reliable tenants LOL. Are your ILs from NZ? I've been there a couple of times and always thought it'd be a nice place to live. Good luck with the TTC. Its been a bit quiet in here on the announcement front.
Becky - how exciting that Chella is nearly taking her first steps. Don't think L is anywhere near ready yet.
Celtic - good that Ryan's ear has cleared up. Still sceptical about the garlic oil, but you have to try it to see don't you. Good luck with the TTC.
Kellie - hope T feels better soon.
Trish - only reason I've been quiet is that I have nothing much to say, but thanks for asking. Hope K is feeling better soon. You have a very clever little boy there.

So, since Trish asked, we are fine. We'll actually we are fine now. I think. L was doing huge vomits at daycare today and we got the call to pick him up. He then spewed twice on DH. Managed to get him down to sleep and he's been asleep since so hopefully whatever it was has worked it's way through. I think something must be going 'round. 2 of my friend's bubs had the same thing. L hasn't been near them in months so he didn't get it from them.

Recent developments include L pointing with his index finger. Until now he's been reaching/pointing with his whole hand. There's a lot of drool at the moment so suspect he's teething but can't see any sign yet. No new words, still buba and dada, but he is babbling more. His sleeping is getting pretty good. Most nights he sleeps through or is able to put himself back to sleep and the nights that we do get up to him its just a quick dummy check. So can't complain.

Question - thinking back to the early days I seem to recall some people saying they'd be starting to try again at 12months. Can see that this is the case for 2 of our group (and another 3 didn't even wait that long LOL). For the others, has the timing of a second or third changed as the bub's become older?

Well that's it from me. Hi to everyone that I've missed.

    Happy Birthday Ryan and Ethan!!!

Nerida - good to hear all is well with you and Lachie (apart from the vomiting - there has been a bug going around Brissie lately.) Question for you - does Lachie cry when you drop him at Daycare? Obviuosly he settles, but how long did it take him to really feel happy there?

Yes, we are trying for number 2. :-) Can't wait to hold another new little bundle in my arms, although at the same time I sometimes wonder how I could possibly love the next baby as much as I love Mateo. Do you think the first is always a bit special? But then I suppose each one that comes along has something that makes them special too...

What about you? Do you have plans for number 2?

Star - Congrats! I didnt know you were trying! The entire time I was pregnant with Chel, I was sooo worried that there was no way I could really love another baby as much. I think everyone does. I honestly thought there was no possible way. But trust me, you just do! I love both of my babies so equally, for different reasons and qualities. Dont know how but ya just seem to acquire more love!

Saffi -AWwwww poor Lachlan. I hope he is better in the morning! As for me, nope I still havent changed my plans. We will still probably start trying in about 2 years. I get sooo clucky sometime, but there is no way I want 3 babies at home at the moment, no matter how adorable they are... LOL. I just dont feel ready for that. Cant wait to plan a numbe 3 though! How about you? Are you trying?

Hi to everyone else! Im going birthday cake planning now tomorrow! LOL

Terri - L has been in daycare since he was 6 months old and before separation anxiety started, so he is used to the carers, the room, the other babies etc. Having said that there are days that he does cry when I go to leave but the carers distract him with cuddles and I make the bolt. I have looked back at him through the window and he appears to settle very easily and starts playing. He used to "cry" when we'd pick him up at the end of the day (another sign of separation anxiety), but now it is more "you're here, oh bright toy" and goes off and plays with something. I have always tried to make daycare a positive experience for him. I think the age difference between L and Mateo starting makes the difference. Just have to hang in there as sad as it makes you feel, he is okay and I am sure has a great time after a few tears. What does his carers say?

As for TTC, well I won't be disappointed if #2 were to appear, but at the same time would like to cherish L a bit more. That said my age, the fact that L was 2.5 years in the making and not wanting to have a huge age gap between babies are all considerations. Not having a second I couldn't imagine how you'd be able to love another as much as the first, but I am sure you do.

Becky - acquire more love. Well put! You're doing a butterfly cake?

Yep ya just do acquire it. Love both of my babies to bits. And I understand now that if I wre to have #3, I would love it just as much too. I think thats something all parents worry about.

I was doing a butterfly cake but now Im just not sure. LOL> Gee what a dillemma!!!
