Hi girls and welcome Emily!
Have had a relatively quiet day here, getting the odd jobs done around the house. Popped over to Fountain Gate, so busy there. I am printing a christmas photo this year instead of a card. I have written a little message on there so that takes care of that. Getting the photo proved to be a bit hard. It is mission impossible getting the girls to sit still and even a bigger challenge to get them to sit near each other. So I had a plan ... bring in the dog ... they both love him and I ended up getting a cute picture of them, with Benji who had reindeer's ears on and tinsel wrapped around him ... he is such a trouper!
My sleepless nights are continuing :crying:. Tay woke up 3 times last night, first time we settled her with panadol and teething gel, second time she came to our bed and third time we got her a bottle and put her back into her cot. I am sure its teeth and I really hope that its a quick passing phase!
Anyway I better go. We are going to have some dinner and head down to the Frankston Lights Festival so that the girls can see the fireworks. I think that they are on around 9, so I am hoping they stay up that late! We will see.

Emily - welcome to our little group. I am a Brissie girl too - Bardon to be exact. Look forward to getting to know you both.
Becky - I got a copy of That's Life to see your little ones. Sooo cute. Have they sent you the cheque yet?
Kaz - great idea about the Christmas photo. I've taken up card making so I made all mine, but will keep that in mind for future. Would have been so cute with the dog in it - had all the kids.
Kellie - I've heard cloth nappies are addictive.
Mo - how's your Mum doing?
Trish - hope you had a great weekend. I've been to Queenscliffe very briefly. Seems like a nice holiday place.
Nic - I bet you're hoping Ty will not walk for a while yet. It'd be full on running after 2 little ones.
Julia - if that cousin ever comes to visit, be sure to extend the same hospitality as she gave you and Max.
Had a pretty busy weekend. Friday afternoon was my work Xmas party. Then on Friday night went to our goddaughter's dance recital. She is 5 and it was so cute to see all the little ones dancing. They had the whole studio performing everyone from the very young ones to the teenagers on points. There were even some boys.
Then yesterday I had a pedicure at Mumma Bubba which for you Brissie girls is a dayspa/creche. Very nice - can highly recommend it. I now have toes that are ready for summer.
Today, after a sleep in, we went up to Suttons Beach (Redcliffe) for lunch and then a walk along the foreshore, a paddle in the ocean and icecream. Lochie was a little uncertain about the water at first but then seemed to enjoy it. Was trying to eat handfuls of sand so it will be interesting to see his nappies over the next few days.
Anyway, the weekend has passed all too quickly and it is time to get ready for another week at work :(

Hi everyone! We had a great weekend away with our friends. The weather was great too. Joel & K had a great time playing at the beach as usual! The house we stayed in was SO nice! They had a spa too so we all got to relax when the kids went to bed.
K has started to do a weird crawl, he keeps his legs straight so it looks like a half crawl/half walk LOL! I'm not sure what the go is there? He's also cutting tooth number 8 atm so he's a bit cranky, but not as bad as he has been with his other teeth.
Saffi - Sounds like you had a very busy weekend! I'm so jealous you got to have a pedicure!
Amber - Love the photos of your holiday place on FB, I'm so jealous! Have you stayed in there yet?
Karen - I hope your nights get better soon! There is nothing worse than interrupted sleep.

Julia - Is Max settling back into his sleep routine now you've been home for a while?
Mo - Yep, DH finally fixed the heater! It was nice to put it on this morning just to take the edge off the cold. It's hard to believe that it's summer today and I had the heating on LOL!
Kellie - I like the idea of cloth nappies, but they just seem SO expensive! I can get sposies so cheap from a factory outlet that I don't think I'd save money by buying cloth. MCNs are so cute though!
Becky - Congrats on getting your photo into the mag! Did you win a prize or money?
Well I'm off to keep tackling our massive washing pile. I've also gotta add more stock to my website, I've had lots come in, but it take so long to get it on the site! I'll do my best to stay off BB and get it done LOL!

Got my laptop back from self destructing, how is everyone? Nothing much to report here, Ry is being tempremental all of a sudden, going on a detox and back to basics for a week to see if its food related. I'm alright, DP is alright, being a bit self-absorbed lately, need to give him a good whack upside the noggin to spur him back into fatherhood duties..

Hey chickies...how is everyone going?
We are good. Chelsea was 2 on Saturday, shame she was sick.
Jasmine is walking alot more now....not everywhere...but most places and she is very proud of herself...as is Craig and myself. Food is getting better...she is beginning 'real' stuff now and im happy about that. Still loves day care...and is so excited when i go to pick her up of an afternoon. She is pretty sick atm, a nasty cold with a chesty cough, hates her nose being wiped so its not been fun!
AFM...im going well..BumbleBee is due NEXT month...or maybe even THIS month!! His room is nearly ready and im excited as can be. Cant wait to meet my much awaited Prince. Chelsea is excited bout her Brudda and always asks if baby is ok.
Well i best get a move along...take care ladies and ill pop back in soon to see how your all going!

Celtic - I've been wondering where you are! Glad to hear you're well. Hopefully changing Ryan's diet makes a difference, it's so hard when you can't pinpoint what the problem is.
Kim - Yay for Jasmine starting to walk! And happy birthday to Chelsea for last Saturday! It's a popular day the 29th, it's my good friend's birthday and our dog's birthday LOL! How exciting that you have Bumblebee's room all set up!

Saffi my Mum is ok, thanks for asking.
As for us Maddi had a 24hr bug yesterday, she had the runs, was vomiting & had a temp.
Wouldn't eat only wanted water or milk to drink. Woke up today & she was fine.
Still not eating a lot but she had half an apple so that something.
We got to see my Friends new baby he is so tiny. 16wks feels like it ages away.
Even tho the first 24wks have gone by so quickly.
ETA- We did the BB Secret Santa.
We got our presents today & Maddi was too quick for me & unwrapped hers. She loves it.
It's a little Elmo guitar & she walking around the house dancing to the music lol.
Plus she got this gorgeous Abby T-Shirt. She did very well with her SS present.

Hi guys! Been MIA again for a while. Just been so busy and I have missed so much!
Kimba- I CANNOT believe you are due already!! My goodness time flies.
Mo- 16 weeks left!! I just cannot believe it! Why oh why did it drag on when I was pregnant but it seems to be flying past for those of you who are doing it all again! I cannot wait to see the birth announcements!!
Well there have been a few developments on this end. Friday Caitlyn took her first step at daycare. Saturday morning - she was OFF!! She just walked everywhere that she could. Although her top half seems to go faster than her bottom half which ends up with a few little face plants.
Sunday - off to hospital with a temp of 39.5. Had her temp taken there and it was 39.7, dose of panadol, wait half an hour, temp 39.6. Words to Doctor (on phone mind you - no doctor there just on call!) dose of Nurofen. There just didnt seem to be anything wrong. No bites, cuts, bruises etc etc. No vominting or diarrhoea. Well it turns out my little girl has a urinary tract infection. How on earth did that happen? I feel like the worlds WORST mum!! ow does a 1 yr old get a urinary tract infection.
Anyway - she is on antibiotics now and hopefully things improve.
Last night was a shocker though. She didnt have an afternoon nap so went to bed at 6 instead of 7. She woke at 1030 crying. Went in and cuddled her and made sure she was ok. She kept it up until 1115 when i bought her back to bed with us - no go. 1230 I took her back to her bed and gave her some panadol and a bottle. She was quiet until 130 when she woke crying. went in and checked on her, cuddled her again. Put her back. Quiet until 230 when the screaming was soooo loud that i didnt need the monitor to hear it. It was almost as though she was being hurt, like being bitten or something. So I went in and checked on her. Dose of nurofen and cuddles - must have done the trick becuase she slept until 630 this morning. Suffice to say i am EXHAUSTED!! And now work has been slack and cut off my connection so I can't do anything and all i want to do i sleep!!!!
Anyway - sorry ladies for being a bore and whinging! I feel like i have ignored everyone! Am sorry for those that i have missed and i hope all the bubbas are doing extremely well!

Bec - I am sorry to hear Caitlyn is really unwell. My 2 year old had her first urinary tract infection a few month ago, the doctor said its really common in girls around that age. I guess the only thing better for me is that Mia could tell me what was hurting. Its so hard with the smaller ones. I hope she gets better soon, and I especially hope you get a little sleep in today and have a better night tonight xx
Mo - 14 weeks to go, oh my gosh! I think the second pregnancy flies when you have a little one to run around after. I hope that the next 14 weeks go well for you!
Kim - Happy birthday for Saturday Chelsea and way to go Jasmine. Kim I dont know how you do it with another one nearly hear. I am finding I am pulling my hair out more and more lately. I certainly have two little she devils at times! A boy into your mix will be a welcome change I am sure!

Hi Trish, Bec & Saffi and anyone else I have missed.
Not much going on with me at the moment. I am surviving on very little sleep today. Tay has been up most of the night, she is cutitng her eye teeth and sleeping was the last thing she wanted to do. Bruno is away, so I get to cope with it all by myself, yay. I will be a basket case by the end of the week. Plus she bit my finger when I was putting teething gel on her last night and cut my skin and it wont stop bleeding, I think its the position that she got? Not sure what to do about this biting? Its getting out of control. Is anyone else having a problem with biting? I didnt go through it with Mia, so its all new to me!

Rebecca- Maddi had a UTI at 4 months Dr said it's very common for girls to get UTI's.
It's more of a worry when little boys get them.
Hoping C feels better really soon.
Kaz- Poor Tay, hope they come through quickly. Maddi seems to have stopped teething all of the sudden no new teeth since 10 months.

Thanks Kaz and Mo - feeling a little better about it now.....carer at Daycare didnt make me feel any better...."never heard of it in someone so young in all my time as a carer!". Sheesh!
Kaz - Caitlyn is biting at the moment....but i dont think it is intentional. She kinda comes in for a kiss (mouth wide open kiss) and closes her mouth. Or tries to blow a raspberry on skin and closes her mouth on it and pinches it. Hope it ends for you soon!

Rebecca - howdy stranger. Congrats to Miss C on the walking. L has been walking for over a week and he has improved out of sight. It is so cute to watch them and I am so proud. There are still plenty of face plants and bumped foreheads. Sometimes carers can be so insensitive. Now that Miss C's on the ABs I am sure she'll get better in no time. Are you still in Cloncurry?
Kim - do you think you will deliver early this time? What theme will your little boy's room be? Have you decided on a name? And congrats to Chels on her second birthday. It seems like yesterday we were all celebrating her first.
Kaz - hopefully tonight will be better for you. Don't know what you can do about the biting. Biting back will get you a visit from Child Services.....
Mo - we are giving L the new Elmo Live for Xmas. We had a play with it on the weekend and it does so many cute things.
Celtic - good to hear from you.
This afternoon we went to L's daycare Xmas party. It was great to see all the kids get so excited about Santa and sing carols. L was toddling around the place bumping into everyone. He got a book about trucks from Santa. Had to leave early as he was starting to crack it, he cried when DH put him on Santa's lap and the whole room went "oh......." Next year my little boy will be running everywhere.

Saffi i have a feeling i might go early, he is already engaged and head down....feels pretty ouchy! He has a girrafe theme.....its pretty cute. We ahve a name set..but i keep changing the middle name but have it down to 2...not sure what will go with...soon find out. I know..its hard to think Chelsea is 2 already...time has flown by.
Rebecca home C is better soon..touchwood we have been UTI free in both girls so far.
Julia i feel for you...drink lots of cranberry juice!
Kaz i pull my haor out a lot...but mainly over Chelsea..Jasmine is my angel child who is the easiest layed back thing ive ever meet. Will be lovely adding a boy to the mix...something new and something unknown...im kinda a little scared TBH!

It's 8:10am and K is still asleep, ahhhh! He woke up a couple of times last night because he is teething though, I can't wait for this tooth to pop through. His latest thing is to point at objects and say "what's that?" (it sounds a bit like "whassat?" LOL!).
Kim - It sounds like your little man is getting set to go soon! I'm sure you will love having a boy around the house, they are lots of fun!
Julia - Ouch you poor thing! I've never had a UTI before, but I can imagine how painful it must be. I hope you get better soon!
Saffi - L sounds like he is going so well walking! His Christmas party sounds so cute!
Rebecca - Nice to see you back! Poor Caitlyn, I hope she gets better soon. What a horrible thing for the lady at DC to say, way to make you feel terrible! Some people have no idea :rolleyes:.
Karen - I hope you had a better nights sleep last night. Ouch at the biting! Neither of my boys have been biters so I have no tips for you sorry.
Mo - Poor Maddi! Did she catch the bug from anyone? I hope she didn't pass it on to you! The SS present sounds great!

Tay slept through, yay :dance:. You wouldnt believe it though, last night I suffered from insomnia. Last time I looked at the clock it was 4am ... so not happy. Definately be having an afternoon sleep today! BBL to post something more significant!

Sleeping through, what's that. I have a totally hysterical child on my hands at the moment. He wakes and NOTHING settles him, except my boob...no dummy, no cuddles, no bonjela, no nothing, he cries so madly that he is almost to the point of vomiting and he thrashes around and yanks at his legs and scratches himself....it's like he is posessed.....I have no idea what to do...I can only assume he is getting his teeth coz surely this couldn't be from all the travelling as we were back over a week ago. I am whinging big time but at the moment I just feeling like I could leave Max out on the verge for green pick up collection. SIGH!!!!!

Saffi we did the same thing with Maddi's Elmo live, I'm sure she'll cry the first time she see's him move lol.
We also got her the Elmo pizza one, that is cute.
Kim that room sounds very cute. glad you got bumblebee some more clothes.
Trish i don't think so, She was fine in the morning, then after she lunch time nap she was ill.
Should of known something was up she slept for 4hrs.
She was feral yesterday, i was just about pulling my hair out guessing she still didn't feel 100%.
Today she ate her breakfast & now she's dancing to some music on Nik Jr so I'm guessing she's feels alot better.
K is such a chatterbox & he is such a cutie.
Julia i don't have any advice for you, have you tried laying down in your bed with him to calm him?
If he is teething have you tried Brauers Teething Relief? Hope you find out what's wrong with him soon.

Trish - glad you had a good weekend away. We are off to a family christmas party not this weekend but next near Phillip Island, so I hope Tahlia sleeps well away from home! The MCN's do seem expensive, but the size I am buying for Tahlia now will last till she is toilet trained, so in the long run I'll be saving heaps. I've probably spent between $300 and $400 so far, and she is now only wearing sposies at night cause I dont have any night nappies.... yet

Mo - glad to hear Maddi is feeling better. I cant believe you only have 16 weeks to go!

We just got back from Tahlia's needles, she was so brave, she barely even cried, but she did give the nurse her grumpy face after she put the needles in, and when the nurse said goodbye to her she turned her face and looked the other way. She is walking all over the place now, but she still hasnt figured out how to stand up without holding onto something, so if she falls over and isnt near something to pull herself up on, she just keeps crawling. She thinks she is so clever though.. I hate seeing all the bruises she is givng herself from falling!
Anyway, hi to everyone else, better go and do some housework while she is asleep

Julia - I feel for you - we only had one night of that behavior and that was enough to drive me insane. I am sorry that you are going through this and i really have no suggestions but just wanted to give you a :hug: and to let you know that you are not alone.
Thanks to everyone for the well wishes for Caitlyn. Seems she is feeling better. She slept almost all the way through last night and was happy this morning. Daycare were going to call me yesterday(so i am told this morning!) cause she was so grumpy yesterday. They were going to tell me not to bring her in if she was like that today....i saw the director yesterday and she never said a thing.....can anyone tell that I am EXTREMELY unhappy with the daycare centre. I tell you if we could afford it I would quit work and stay at home with her!

Wait to Tahlia is running, Maddi now has grazes from running & falling on concrete.
For the mums with babies who are walking, do they like spinning in circles?
Maddi has this thing now where she is always spinning in circles, she loves it.
I get dizzy just watching her do it & i have no hope stopping her from doing it.
Looking through my mobile seems i only have Trish's & Amber numbers(if you ladies haven't changed number) So i guess I'll send you both a pic & a txt letting you know when Cookie has been born etc.. if that's alright :)

Becky - we are moving back in March - if not sooner!!! and i CANNOT wait!! will eb nice to be around family again and even though most of my friends have or are moving away beofre i get there just the family support will be nice. LOL - no other daycare centres here. i live in a very small town. so the council run centre is the only one. I have already had a run in with the daycare centre when they REFUSED to take Caitlyn one day because she had been so grumpy the day before even though i had aletter from the doc saying she was medically fine. I refused to pay for the day and now the council is writing me letters. but anyway!! wont go into that again! Will get me riled up again.
Saffi - I am so sorry i missed your post back there! As I said i have been a bit slack lately but am truying to catch up a bit!
just called the doctors surgery to book C for a follow up to her sample that they sent away and they dont have the results from the hospital so i call the hospital and they had to call me back. they say nothing is growing but.........they want to see C in outpatients tomorrow!!! WTF if there is nothing growing why do they need to see her??? *insert nail biting here*

Hope you are all doing well. Sorry been MIA for a few weeks. I've been really sick and am still not great. I had 2 hospital visits within 4 days.
Ethan is being a trooper with all my sickness. He is coping pretty well with a messy house and lots of vegimite sandwiches since I can't manage much more. He has been spending lots of time with Nana and he is still happy. I am so proud of my little munchkin.
Anyway the latest is that Ethan can say "car". He now points to the cat and says "car" which makes everyone laugh. He is so cute.
Anyway, just wanted to pop in and say I am still alive. Hopefully will be feeling well enough soon to catch up on the personals.

Not much happening here! Myles is just tearing it up :) He adores being outside and playing in the dirt! We have been packing heaps of stuff for our holiday house which is great! Heading up there this weekend to stay for the first time! Counting down the days till christmas cause it means we will have a full week wiht DH and no work yay!
Better go Myles was just up and will probably be up and ready to come to my bed! kisses to all the bubs xxx

Amber - my faves are itti bitti dlishs - I have about 8 of them! Ive also got some baby beehinds, swaddlebees, happy heinys and berry plushes. They are so addictive! I am getting into trouble every time I buy a new one, my latest purchase is a WC night nappy, so I'll be in trouble when that arrives too!

Kellie Ittibittis are my fav too! i love my beetlebums but they are so hard to get! I dont like the berry plush really and we dont use them? but i am heading to the post office now to pick up some more! hahaha! DH will kill me! lol!

Well Myles finally went down at 7:45! omg i was so cranky poor bubba! He never fights sleep but i dont know why he was tonight! Hope he sleeps for a while so i can get some rest! Have joined a gym so have been doing some classes which i love but am soo tired!

Amber, Max was fighting tonight too....like his eyes had weightbelts on them but he held them open GOOD! He knows what is happening so just doesn't want to sleep....
Took him to the doctor today and he had his needles...yucky....but then she looked in his mouth coz he has been dribbling SOOOOOO much and his gums all around the teeth that are already there are really red and puffy and awful....so question...can teething gums get infected??? His teeth seem to take forever to grow fully so am assuming they are red coz they are still coming down, but geezus they look bl00dy awful....the doc didn't think anything though and just thought the teeth were growing.
LUCKY I got my amber necklace today so will see how it goes....DH laughed at me when I showed him!
Be back tomoz....I need some DH time on the couch! It never seems to happen anymore!

I have my feet up for a few minutes while K is sleeping and Joel is at kinder! DH & I are going out for his work Christmas party tonight, another one! This one is more casual. Mum is coming over to look after the boys and I'm looking forward to a night out.
Julia - Ouch, poor Max! I have no idea about gum infections sorry.
Amber - You're such a good girl going to the gym! I'm too tired in the evening to contemplate doing excersise LOL!

Hey girls, just a quick post because I need to go wash my hair dye off ... hehe. Bruno got home from Sydney tonight, yay. A week without him sucked, but he is back for the weekend. Back to Sydney Monday and home again Wednesday, but my parents are here now so it wont be so bad. We are heading out tomorrow night, cant wait. We are going out for dh's work dinner then we have a room in the city. This will be our first night away from the kids, so we are apprehensive and excited at the same time! I have my outfit sorted and in the morning am getting my hair in curls which will be intersting! If it looks bad I will just wash it out I guess. I might even get my nails done, still mulling that one over. I have 6 relatively long ones now and 4 that wont grow, so I am wondering whether to ruin the good ones with acrylic ones!
Other than that, not much sleep happening here. Tay has cut two teeth, skipped her eye teeth and cut the next ones back at the top. Does anyone know what they are called? Anyway, no wonder she has been a grumpy girl of late. Fingers crossed she sleeps through for my parents tomorrow night!

the ones next to the eye teeth are molars and they are apparently supposed to come through before the eye teeth so tay is clever doing everything by the book :D
