Saw Kellie, Tahlia, Ange & Lulu today.
All the babies are growing up so quickly it was great seeing them.
Maddi kept stealing Lulu's food trying to get into Tahlia's food & taking both Lulu's & Tahlia's drink bottles but other than that she was fairly well behaved.
Maddi's swim lesson also went well, she wasn't sure as first but by the end she was laughing & having a great time.
-
It was great to catch up with Mo, Maddi, Ange and Lulu today too!
Sorry you couldnt be there Trish, hope you are feeling better!
I have a case of the mummy guilts after the meetup today though, Tahlia has a sunburnt face.
We ended up going into the city after the meetup to look at the Myer windows. I think the rest of Melbourne was there too!

Hi everyone
Just wanted to apologise for all my negative me me me posts of late! Max has been really awful so I have just been 'using' you all to vent! Want to say thanks for letting me! Sorry I never seem to focus on anyone else either and I just want to slap myself for it! I really hope everyone is going well and even though I haven't really read much of what's going on I think about you all the same!
Max seems to have perked up a bit seeing as I took him to another doctor and they put him on antibiotics. It looks like he had yellow pus around the teeth that have been there for a while and I wasn't just going to let some doctor fob me off saying it was teething coz it just wasn't right. He even slept in his own bed for a little while last night, after a few nights of fighting so hard going to sleep that I would just end up giving up and going to bed myself with him. SIGH!
Anyhoo, thanks again :)
-
Julia - its what we are here for!! We have all had our share of "me me me"posts and i am sure there are more to come from all of us..
i just have a question for all you mums....Caitlyn is now on cows milk for all her feeds.. but since we started all her bottles being cows milk she has starting waking up at 3 am hungry....is this normal? Should i try to "discourage"it as such by giving her water at 3 am or just get over it and give her the milk that she wants? Is formula more filling than cows milk? maybe i am not feeding her enough solids during the day??
any hints/tips/ suggestions/advice/anecdotes are more than welcome!!

Hi everyone!
I am soooo sick with a cold :(. I have a sore throat, non-stop running nose and a cough that hurts my chest so much that I try and stifle it. K seems to be coming down with it too. Oh the misery of it all! I thought I was over the cold & flu season!!!
We had a great time out at DH's Christmas party on Friday night. I won a raffle prize (very unexciting Christmas candles), DH won a bottle of wine at last year's party so his workmate on our table said "You always win", so DH swapped his raffle ticket with his workmate and his workmate won a prize LOL! He couldn't believe it. We always have a run of luck with winning stuff, maybe we should buy a lottery ticket LOL!
K is still pointing at everything saying "What's that?" and the other day he heard DH's voice and he said "Who's that? That's Dad!" (well it kind of sounded like "Whoozat, Zats Dad"!) He is so clever!
Rebecca - I have no idea what to tell you about the 3am feeds! K has been on cows milk only for a couple of months and he doesn't wake up for a feed. He only has two cups of milk a day (his first cup actually has milo in it LOL) and eats lots of food most of the day. Who knows with these children, they keep changing the rules!
Julia - Don't apologise! That's why this group is here! Man, I have come in and complained many a time. I'm glad to hear Max is picking up, there is nothing worse than when they are grumpy and clingy all the time. K can be a real shocker when he wants to. Feel free to come in and vent any time .
Kellie - I'm glad you had a nice day yesterday, poor Tahlia getting sunburnt! It happens so quickly doesn't it? I haven't been to the Myer Christmas windows for years, I really should take the boys.
Mo - I'm glad Maddi ended up liking her swimming lesson! I haven't tried K at our pool, every time I've gone in the past we've caught something nasty so I don't really want to take him!!
Kazaraz - How did you go with your night out? It must have been nice to have a night to yourself!
Nic - Nice to see you in here, I've missed you! How are the boys going?
Saffi - Where are you? You've been a bit quiet LOL!
Hi to everyone else!
-
Hey all
Rebecca - L is on all cows milk too. He has 3x180ml bottles and I think milk with lunch at dc. He too has been waking at 2/3am lately. For him it is a dummy issue, but you've got me thinking about hunger. He does wake sometime between 5.30 and 6.30am tho and I do tend to feed him then. Is Miss C walking? Since L has started I have been really trying to get more food into him as he is constantly on the move burning it all off.
Trish - sorry you are feeling so sick (again). Try to rest up, as hard as it is with the boys running around. Are you on multi-vitamins? I am constantly amazed at K's language skills. L doesn't say much at all tho DH swears he said Mumma the other day. He is very clever in other ways so I keep satisfied with that.
Julia - thats great that a Dr finally listened to you and Max is on the mend. Vent away - it is good for the soul.
Kaz - hope you had a good night. It is nice to get some time away without the kids, hey?
Mo - I have been meaning to take L to swimming lessons. Do you go in with her or does DH?
Kellie - I know what you mean about Mummy guilt. We will always find something to beat ourselves up for.
As for us:
1. DH and I had a night to ourselves while L stayed with the ILs. He was really well behaved and slept through the night for them, including a very bad thunder storm. Funny tho, they were still up most of the night as their dog was so scared. The ILs took him to a Chrissy party and he was passed around all the oldies and had a great time. DH and I went out for breakfast to stretch out our us time even longer. I was still up at 6am tho.
2. Put the Xmas tree up tonight. On the weekend L selected a new tree decoration. We are going to do that each year. Have had to put the tree up high to stop any inquisitive fingers pulling at the decorations.
3. L's molar has broken through. He has 4 little white specks poking through the gum. The gums are really swollen but he doesn't seem to be too upset. He got more upset when I put some Bonjela on it.
Not much else to report at this time.
I hope you and your bubs are all well.
-
Saffi i go 1 week & Phil goes the next :)
Trish we go to a swim school, not our local pool never been a fan of them mainly cause we lived in Dandy but i suppose the ones down here in Pakenham would be a lot nice & cleaner.
-
the boys are mischeif, they got into the laundry cuppboard this afternoon and got into the nappy san and laundy liquid, i sh#t my dacks as Ty had it all over him and his face, both are ok and i was in the next room with the door open between us when it happened.
Ty has also been a bit grizzly and i discovered tonight one eye tooth has cut and the second is coming through. that makes tooth 13 & 14 i think, ive lost count he has too many!!
Trish - hope you are feeling better soon
-
Nic how scary for you, glad they just played in it & both are fine.
Trish hope your feeling better & Cam is taking good care of you.
As for us, Maddi seems to be an early riser now, up at 5:30 this morning at least she was happy to lay in bed till 6:30am.
It seems i have an aspiring gymnast on my hands, Maddi flipped herself out of the cot the other day, yes the rail was right up & thanks goodness the cot was right next to the bed so she landed on something soft. Gave me a big shock at 3am.
We see the OB today can't believe we only have 15wks left.
Hope everyone else is well.
-
Hey Mo earler riser here too! Myles was up at 5!!! Argh i dont think we will start trying till he has worked out how to sleep better! Maddi must have scared the life out of you getting out of her cot! I am wondering when Myles will do the same ....hang on he is not in his cot long enough
Nick omg how scary is it when you find them in places like that! Gld there ok! Wow i cant belive Ty has so many teeth! Woohoo!
Trish hope your feeling better hun! Its so much harder being sick with kids hey  K is so clever! I cant wait for Myles to start talking!
Saffi we do swimming lesson we go on a monday but they have weeknd classes too! Myles loves it i am sure L would too!
Hi to everyone i missed!
Well Myles is wearing me out! He is stil feeding so much at night and i dont know what to do cause i am alone at night and its they only way i get some sort of rest! I cant wait for christmas! We have a week off so i may get some more sleep!
He is chucking the biggests sooks when he doesnt get is own way:doh: i am just so lost at the moment! Argh!
All i can say is thank goodness for the wiggles! He loves them! We sing and dance all the time, drives me bonkers but a slong as he is happy i dont mind!
Better go xx

Hey everyone!
Feeling a bit better, though today I fell soooo tired. DH went back to work yesterday, but I coped fine without him, I even did our Christmas shopping (maybe that's why I'm so tired today!). The only pressies left to buy are for MIL and FIL, but they are almost all sorted out. It feels so good to be almost finished!! I feel much less stressed about Christmas now :).
This morning I was making K his cup of milo (tsk tsk to me! He'll only have milo in the mornings because that's what Joel has and he refuses to have plain old boring milk!) and he pointed to it and said his usual "What's that?", I said, "That''s your milo" as I handed it to him. He replied "Oh...Ta!" ha ha, it was so cute!
Amber - These babies can give us such a hard time sometimes! K can be a shocker when he doesn't get his own way, especially when he is teething. I usually distract him while he is throwing a tanty about something by showing him the dog or something and he forgets about it. Other times I ignore his tanty (if it's just one of those toddler-type silly tanties LOL) and he gets bored when he gets no attention so he stops and starts playing again. I hope you get some good sleep when you go away! Maybe if Myles wakes early, get your DH to get him up and take him for a walk?
Mo - Yuck at the 5:30am wake up! I think it's pretty common for babies to wake up early this time of year. Most mums I speak to are complaining of the same thing. It must be the extra light and the noise of birds up and about.
Nic - Yikes, those cheeky boys! I'm glad they didn't ingest any! They get up to so much mischief so quickly when your back is turned! Do you still see Claire? We haven't seen her in here for ages, tell her I said "hi" if you see her!
Saffi - Yep, I am on multi-vitamins, I just always get sick! I have always caught everything going around, you'd think I'd have an immune system of steel by now LOL! I don't think my body absorbs things like vitamins and iron very well. How nice that you & your DH had a night to yourself! That's great L slept through for his grandparents!!
Hi to everyone else! I wonder if BB will crash again today? I missed it yesterday!!
-
So, finally I get 5 minutes to post ... I have been so busy its not funny. My parents have been here since last week and they went home yesterday. I am a bit of a taxi service at the moment, I dropped them at the airport and picked Bruno up. I am so glad to have him home, no more Sydney trips until next year fingers crossed. He is over it as well. We went for dinner in Essendon on the way home, as it was our wedding anniversary. The food was great, the waiters not so great. One of the them smelt really bad, the other one knocked over the wines glasses on our table twice! I said to my dh at least it will be memorable. My kids love pasta ... so it was no surprise we chose an italian restaurant.
Our weekend away was great. We went into the motel at around 2pm and spent some time in the bath just chatting. Never get to do that. We went to dinner and that was a little disappointing. I think we left the Christmas Party around 11 and went to the casino with the intention of seeing a movie. BUt after walking around decided to just go home and sleep! What was amazing was the amount of people at the casino at that hour with babies and toddlers?! It was 12.30 when we left and people had kids everywhere we turned.
We come home Sunday and I took Mia to a birthday party for a while, as we had to get ready for the Wiggles! We got organised, dropped my parents at the casino and made our way to Rod Laver arena, only to discover we had the wrong weekend and day! Yes all my fault for not checking the tickets. Everyone has had a great laugh at my expense haha!
Other than that, not much else is new. We put the kids to bed last night and I had prepared our bedroom with candles, rose petals and little glittery love hearts. It looked great, so nice that my dh took photos! I will post them on facebook when I get a chance. We had a nice night eating icecream in bed and chatting, oh and other things I cant mention
Trish -I hope that you are feeling better and the tiredness is subsiding!
Boomba - I know what your saying about tanties, take heart in knowing my baby is doing it as well. She even points her finger and tells us off at the moment. Oh and she bit Mia on the stomach yesterday, broke the skin and MIa has a nice little mark and bruise. SO naughty!
Mo - Oh my gosh, glad for that soft landing I bet. Tay fell off of the change table and bed the other day. Never had this happen before and I had a good cry over it.
Nic - I bet the boys did give you a scare. You cant turn off for a second can you, we certainly have a fulltime job on our hands watching the kids!
Saffi - how does the christmas tree look?
Bec - I didnt think it was normal to wake for food, but these bubs all have their own schedule. Tay will have a grizzle around 4, but normally puts herself back to sleep.
Minimax - definately dont stress, we are all in the same boat with the good times and the hard times! We completely get where you are coming from!
I think I have nearly got everyone, hello to misskate and mum2squidgee!
Sorry for the long post, so much to tell since I have been missing in action for a few days! Oh and my teething 1 year old is a nightmare ... I am considering going to the doctors today just to make sure nothing else is going on! Keep you posted. Bye xx
-
I HATE TEETHING!!!!! L has been up and grizzling since 4.30am. I have given him 1.5 bottles already and he just wouldn't stop. In the end got the Nurofen out and gave him some. Almost instantly he calmed down and I have left him in his cot hoping he'll go back to sleep. So far so good. I think painkillers will be my friends today.
I haven't been sleeping well myself so am feeling very drained. I have piles of washing to do and a mountain of ironing and other housework waiting for me. And I am babysitting a friend's 13 month old for a few hours this afternoon so I don't like my chances of getting a nap in.
Sorry for the whingey post.
Trish - glad you are feeling better
Kaz - the tree looks really good. I am getting a collection of presents under it which always makes it look better. Should we expect an announcement in a month or so??? Good that you have had some nice outings with DH. You didn't miss the Wiggles concert did you?
Amber - I feel for ya. It must be hard to do the overnight shift and then have to do most of the day while Jeff sleeps. If its not one thing its another, hey!
Mo - wow, lucky there was a bed to land on. Its amazing how flexible these babies can get.
Nic - you can't take your eyes off them for a minute can you. If only their interest in washing powder extended to actually doing a load for you.
Anyway, best get into the shower while L is asleep.
Have a good day all.
-
Amber Maddi is the Queen is tanty throwing, so i feel for you.
Maddi is back to only half sleeping in her cot, I'm beginning to think she'll still be in my room when Cookie arrives, What fun!
It will get better :)
Saffi hope you get a rest even if it's just a short one.
Kaz sounds like you had a great weekend, shame about the waiters tho.
Trish Maddi doesn't like cows milk thinking i may have to try the milo trick, last time she had milk she was sick the whole day so not keen on trying it again in a hurry.
Glad your feeling better.
-
Haha ... maybe Saffi, you never know your luck in the big city! We are trying for No 3, so far no luck. But it took a few months with Tay and we have only been really practicing hard for half of that time!
No wiggles concert is this saturday at 4.00pm, can hardly wait! We went last year and it was the best concert I have been to for a long time. Haha. Mia actually fell to sleep last time, lets hope that she makes it through this time!
I hope that your day has improved and you are getting some well deserved rest and your little man can also get a bit of a sleep in!
-
Everything is fine with Cookie, i have to go for the 3hr GTT after Christmas.
That should be a fun day, pretty sure i'm going to have GD this time been on the medication for so long. Oh well not a lot i can do about it.
-
Hey everyone,
Well I have enough of keeping this to myself. I am having another baby. Yay. That is why I have been so sick. I'm almost 7 weeks now and saw the OB today and he said everything looks ok.
Ethan is being very naughty at the moment. He is really starting to push things. We used to count to 3 and then give his hand a tap. Now he doesn't care. I am pulling my hair out. Is anyone else finding this?
Anyway, I'm going to kiss my munchkin goodnight.
-
Congratulations Alz! :confetti:
Trish thanks hun! Heres hoping DH will take him! We are going to try a couple of nights of just DH getting up to him while we are away, but spose that depends on if Dh has a drink or not lol!
KV have fun at wiggles! We are going thursday! Cant wait! Myles has so many moves down pat from when i was sick lol! Hope the tantys dont last too long hey!
Saffi hope you get some rest on the weekend! thanks for your support too :)
Mo good luck with the test! So glad cookie is well!
Hi everyone! x
-
Alz Thats great news! Congratulations!! Wow that makes a few of us now doesnt it.....i wont be making any announcement any time soon!
I have to pick your brains again ladies.....CAitlyn was walking really well for a week - not all the time but quite a few steps at a time....now we are lucky to get one or two out of her...and she uses her hips to walk. Like puts all her weigth on her left leg and leans over to the left and swings her leg from the hip (does that make sense???). is this something i should be worried about.Poor little thing has been to the Doctor that many times lately. um lost cause she is still not walking at nearly 14 months. She is supposed to go up a room at d/care but they can't let her go up until she is walking properly.......I dont want my litle girl to get left behind!
-
Amber I would fly over and come help you in a second. I know exactly what you are going through. Max chucks wobbly's too when he doesn't get his boobie in the night (more than once mind you) ...not that he needs it. He does the horrid back of the throat cry/scream. It's not pretty! I know it's not real either coz there are no tears! It will get better...it WILL!!! You are an awsome Mummy and Myles loves you for it :)
Alz Congrats on your new bun!
Kaz What an awsome anniversary you had! You'll have #3 in no time at that rate lol! Have fun at the Wiggles....tell them I love them!!
Trish Glad to hear you are feeling better. K is very clever! Max is starting to say 'that' and 'there' but not really the word as such, just the sound, but it's a start I guess! It will be cool when they can actually tell you what their problem is! I give Max milo too....plain milk is boring all the time! :)
Saffi I agree teething is the pits. They should be born with them I say, and born with a 'no biting' reflex!!! :)
Mo Glad to hear everything is going well with Cookie...and 15 weeks is going to fly by! Can't believe it! Seems falling off things is a norm at the mo...Max fell off the couch yesterday...he has a new trick where he likes to lollop around all over the place, rolling and being plain daft, but there I found him flat on his back on the floor after he sat up and fell off! Whoops!
Rebecca I think that is how they all start walking, that is why they call them toddlers...coz they 'toddle'! She is learning how to shift her weight from one leg to another and I guess the co-ordination and balance will come with time. Don't worry about it, Max isn't walking at all by himself...he won't even let go when he's cruising the furniture! He's a cautious little thing! My neighbours little boy only started walking at about 19 months! C won't get left behind...it all catches up sooner or later :)
Well....Max's antibiotics are almost finished and the goobies in his mouth seem to have cleared up. There is a bit of whiteish stuff around his teeth still, but not half as bad as it was. Once the drugs have finished I'm going to see how it goes and if his gums get red again, I'll take him to a paed dentist. Hate to think what that will cost me, but hey...it's all for the boy isn't it!
I haven't started Xmas shopping yet so am just about to go and write a list so I can get to the shops and get it over with. The only things I've bought have been for Max!.....of course! I really hate shopping! I even have to get something for myself coz I'm off to a ****tail party with DH next Friday. I bought a black dress but need to get some things to jazz it up a bit. I'm so unfashionable....I have no clue! SIGH...I need Trinny & Suzannah....and I also need to get their guts suck in undies too!!!!
Well I'm off now, have a good night everyone (even though the lot of you are probably already in bed!)
xo
-
Congratulations Alz , its hard keeping that kind of news secret! I think last time I told all the girls in my mothers group early, as a matter of fact I have told people both times before the magic 12 week mark. Its 2 exciting keeping that kind of news a secret!
-
Alz - Congratulations! Thats fantastic news. What are we up to now? 4? Ok, so who's next ?
Amber - I didn't know the Wiggles are in town on Thursday! That's my day off! I'm sure there will be other chances...
Rebecca - not sure about C's walking. I do know tho that once they get going they get pretty good pretty fast. I reckon just hang in there a little longer. You could always take her to a physio (if they have one in C'Curry).
Mo - happy that Cookie is okay. Hopefully the GTT will come back in the clear.
Anyway, we have the child from hell at the moment. He is the ultimate Klingon. Yesterday he was so clingy when the other bub was here. Talk about stressful. I'd pick one up to stop them crying and the other one would cry, then I'd put that one down to calm the other one and then they'd start up again. L was definitely jealous that I was giving the other bub attention.
And this morning we were up at 5am again! He just wanted to be held and when I'd put him down he'd start crying (with tears). Anyway dosed him up with Nurofen and sent him to daycare. What a good mummy (not).
I'm hoping its just teeth. I'll pop in over the weekend, but hope you all have a good one.
-
Saffi don't know if your remember Belle & Catherine but they are both pregnant as well so that's makes 6 now. I wonder who's secretly trying ttc?
Saffi It's so tough when they are like that, i hope things with L pick up soon for you.
Congrats Alz wishing you a H&H pregnancy :)
Rebecca i agree with Juila she's probably just getting use to walking, Also is she just starting to walk with shoes cause that can really throw their balance off.
-
congratulations alz!!!!
well count me out im not next!
Ty is being very naughty, when u say no he shakes his head copying u, then smiles and goes to do it again.. they really do go through stages and i hope thats all it is
-
Congrats Alz.....you done well keeping it a secret til now.....i kept this one secret til 19 weeks (well to family and friends)...only forums knew about him from 5 weeks!
Jasmine is now saying no and shaking her head too....its cute. Walking has taken off and no stopping her now...and kisses LOVES kisses and always giving them to me.
Woohoo..less then 4 weeks til BumbleBee arrives....i cant wait. OB is predicitng a xmaz day bub....lets hope not!
-
Who is No 6? I must have missed someone, I know of Mo, Kim, Alz, and the other two girls you mentioned Mo ... but cant think of who is No 6?
-
Ange aka Falguni is number 6.
She got bored of us all and doesn't post in here anymore :P
Maddi is also doing the no thing, drives me nuts!
-
Morning all,
Hope you all had a great nights sleep. Well my little man is being a human disposal unit this morning. Ate a bowl of cherios with milk then wanted more so had some without milk, then ate half an apple. He must be growing or something because he is eating so much at the moment. Easily is eating more than me.
I am looking forward to Christmas this year. We are having a low key christmas with my family which will be nice. Hopefully I will be up to eating chrissy lunch yum. What is everyone else doing? Not putting the tree up till next weekend because Ethan will demolish it.
Have a great day everyone.
-
Sorry forgot something.
Kimbaz - I can't believe you managed to keep it a secret till you were 19 weeks. Weren't you showing? I am already in maternity pants at 7 weeks. Am sure that I wont be able to keep it quiet from people for long.
-
Alz it was easy hiding it from family and close friends as they are all in NSW. The few friends i have down here, some were told at 6 weeks...but most not until 14 weeks. Im large build anyhow so hiding a pregnancy is pretty easy for me. It was until about 28 weeks that i went pop...and now at over 36 weeks theres no hiding it....LOL
-
Alz - I managed to hide my pregnancy from my workmates until I was 20 weeks. While my family and friends knew as early as 3 weeks, 'cos of my work situation I didn't want to be out there until as late as possible. But it was nice that once they knew that I could act pg - IYKWIM.
I think it is harder with second pregnancies to physically hide it for too long. I know my friends with their second/third have looked pg from as early as 10 weeks.
Mo - have you seen the Elmo seat? It is at Big W and it chuckles and vibrates. We sat L in it and L and Elmo laughed their heads off. If we didn't already have a sofa for L I would have got that.
Kim - also hope you don't deliver on Xmas Day. Maybe it will be a New Years Day baby and you can get on the news as the first baby of the year. Being in labour would kind of ruin NYE tho.
We've already got the Christmas tree up but it is placed on top of a high table so no little hands can reach it. Also keeps the dogs away LOL. Luckily L isn't a climber so he is happy just to look at the lights. Actually he doesn't seem too interested in it.
We finished our Xmas shopping yesterday. We only buy for our parents and the kids so we don't have too many people to buy for. DH and I bought a BBQ earlier in the year so that is our Xmas gift to each other. Yes I know, what every girl wants.....
Going out for lunch to celebrate MILs birthday. Should be nice.
Have a good day.
-
Saffi i really want to get Maddi one, but just not sure i have the room to put it. She already has a chair in the lounge room and a table & chair set in her bedroom.
I think we need a bigger house just to fit all Maddi's stuff.
-
hi everyone
We are back from our weekend away, too bad it rained the whole time! Tahlia was unwell while we were away too, she is very drowsy, has a runny nose, puffy eyes and a bit of a temp. She even fell asleep in her pram yesterday which she never does. I think it might be from her needles cause the fact sheet we got from the nurse said these symptoms can occur up to 12 days after the needles... did anyone elses bubs have a similar reaction?
Trish - hope you are feeling better
Mo - how did you ob visit go?
Congrats Alz
Nic - Tahlia is also doing the head shaking thing, it must be a stage they go through
Anyway, better go, the munchkin is waking up
-
Sorry to hear Tahlia is sick, Maddi got a nasty cough after her 12month needles that just wouldn't go away. So it's possible it's from her needles.
Hope she feels better soon.
OB Appt went well, he's much busier than my old Ob which is a good sign i guess.
-
Hi everyone,
What a shocker. DH had to stay home from work today because I was so sick. It was nice to stay in bed and not feel guilty though. I think I just did too much on the weekend. Well bad news on the morning sickness front. The ob put me on maxolon but it is making me really sick in another way so had to stop taking it. Aaarrrggghhh.
Anyway enough whinging. Looking forward to taking Ethan to carols in the park tomorrow night. Should be fun.
Ta Ta

Hey everyone!
Been MIA for a few days while my laptop was off getting fixed and generally feeling sorry for myself while recovering from bronchitis. I'm on the mend though! The boys had a fun day today, we went to a 2nd birthday party at a play centre and they had a fantastic time. Business has been flat out, lots of new stuff is coming in, I'm running out of room again!
Alz - Congratulations!!! That's wonderful news! I hope the m/s eases up for you soon, there is nothing worse.
Kellie - It was such a rainy weekend for going away! I hope you had a nice time anyway. Poor Tahlia, I hope she feels better soon.
Mo - I'm glad your Ob appointment went well, I can't believe how fast your pregnancy is going!
Saffi - We finished our Christmas shopping on the weekend too, it's such a good feeling isn't it?! I LOVE wrapping presents so I'm looking forward to that next LOL!
Nic - K shakes his head "no" and then keeps doing what he is doing too, the cheeky monkeys!
Julia - I'm glad I'm not the only one giving my bub milo LOL! That's good the AB's worked for Max, I hope he is all better now.
Hi to everyone else! Hope you're all well!!
-
Trish glad to hear your on the mend, hopefully 2009 will be a healthy year for you!
Alz hope the m/s eases soon.
-
Hey guys!
I know it's been a looooong time since I've posted but I do come in regularly to see what you're all up to. Just busy with work, have had my mum staying with us for a few weeks recovering from back surgery etc etc so it's hard to get time to post as much as I'd like.
Things are going well with us - DS is walking around everywhere now, no stopping him. He is saying more and more words every week - this week his favourites are 'turtle' and 'one more' LOL! He isn't well at the moment though, just a cold/virus that's hanging on so we went to the GP and got a short course of ABs yesterday, I don't want a sick, grumpy boy for Christmas! He was absolutely miserable yesterday, couldn't leave his side without him cracking it.
Other than that, not much happening. I've been thinking about dropping him to one day sleep the last week or two. He is still having x2 days sleeps of just over an hour. They used to be 1.5hrs but around his bday they dropped back a bit. He has on occasion had one day sleep if we've been out and about and they've ranged from 1.5 hrs to 3 hrs so just not sure what to do!! What are your little ones doing? You'd think I'd know how to go about this being #2 but I'm clueless! I think with DD I just dropped one cold turkey and although it took a while for her to extend her sleep she ended up doing a sleep after lunch time of about 2-2.5hrs most days, sometimes 3 hrs. Wow, imagine 3 hrs to yourself in the middle of the day....bliss! LOL.
Big hello to everyone, won't attempt personals other than to say your bump is looking lovely Mo and congrats Alz!!
