Just thought I'd pop in and say hello, hope everyone is well, Ryan is doing great. Had an allergic reaction today to gods know what but mostly recovered now . I'm working FT, uni PT & caring for Ryan every other moment I'm not at work or doing uni work! So havent really the time to get on here and procrastinate... but thought I would for a minute anyway hehehe
Hope everyone is well, seeing a dr abt TTC, seems my LH is a little high, might need some help falling again *cries* she doesn't seem to think I'll need much more than a bit of clomid if the tests come back that I'm not ovulating properly everything else has come back good, yay!
Take care, will try and pop back a bit more now that rush is over at work
Mo - You poor thing, I hope tonight is better for you .
Celtic - Hi! Great to see you in here, I've been wondering how you are going . You sound like you have been very busy. Hopefully you have some luck with the clomid if you end up taking it. My friend used it and fell pg first cycle. Best of luck!
Celtic - wow, what a handful! I work 3 days a week and am doing 2 units at uni which is really JUST enough. I just couldn't work full time, I don't know how you do it . Well done on keeping yourself busy. WHat are you studying? I am doing Psych which is really only just finishing it off as I have only 4 units to go, 2 after this semester .
Kate - I use itti bittis as well. I use large ones as Caden has such large thighs. They are great and have different snaps so you can adjust them for fit. I use Baby Beehinds for night time because you can stuff them with additional night stuffers. These were also cheap because they have changed some of their materials so were selling the old ones cheap. Normal wear the BBHs aren't too bad, but the IBs are definitley the trimmest and they have the lovely minky outer. I have some snap ins and sewn ins, and I prefer the snaps ins, less messing around after a big wash, but unfortunately I got most snap ins.
Mo - bring on labour vibes!
As for us - not much going on. Busy like I said with uni and work as well. Finding it hard to fit everythign in, I am so proud of myself for studying after work when Caden is asleep, but then other things fall by the wayside, such as ironing and cleaning. Then I try to get some time to myself and that is hard enough without trying to squeeze in some DH loving time . Oh well!
Caden is doing great. Talking and imitating a fair bit more lately which is really nice. He understands so much and is such a quick learner. Ahhh, my baby boy is growing up!
Hi Trish, how have you been? How are your gorgeous boys going? Grats on number 3, going to have a big family or is number 3 the last of the mini's? I'm hoping I don't ovulate properly so that it is something easy to fix, don't want to go down the IVF path, too expensive and invasive for my liking, don't want quaduplits either! What have you been upto?
Dragonbub- I'm doing B Social Work through CSU, was originally doing psych but realised I don't like research and I don't think I could cope with clinical psych 24/7 I'd probably murder someone :P lol jks jks, really want to work with DoCs hopefully bettering and saving kidlets lives and trying not to pummel deadbleep parentals lol.
The position was part time, but my boss made it fulltime, now rush is over going to try and push for 4 days so I actually get a day to myself to blink! Try to have a shower I have 3 cats, DP and Ryan in there within 5 minutes, go to the loo and I have the cats and Ryan at the door! Arg! lol
Grats on being near the end, I bet it must feel great knowing it is nearly over . I got about 6 years PT for uni but as I got a job I don't care how long it takes me to finish, if I didn't have a job I'd push to get it finished quick. I'm lucky I sort of came in to the job with attitude :P lol, in the way that my boss doesn't try and bung me around or ask more of me than I was originally expected to give, and the second in command doesn't try and fob work off on to me after I bit his head off once when he tried so the pecking order is established and works in my favor for uni work wise should be able to do some while I'm there if its really dead.
Anyways I'm procrastinating because I don't feel tired but I know I have to go to bed, so I will leave my gibberish here and go to bed, maybe read a textbook (ha yeah right). good night ladies, sleep well, hope everyones kidlets are good tonight!
Basically couldn't keep any food down Friday morning, by 3pm i couldn't keep any fluids so i call the hospital at 7pm saying that i can't keep anything down & Cookie isn't moving much.
They ask me to come so they can check us over, I get there & they hook up the CTG Cookie's heart rate is borderline staying in the 170's the whole time with very little movement, so they hook me up to the the drip & leave the CTG on for an hour hoping to see an improvement,
An hour later still no improvement so i ask to have a shower.
I almost pass out after the shower so i tell the nurse they hook me back quickly & Cookie's HR is 210 & wont drop below 205. They start pumping the saline me through me quickly & 40mins later her HR drops into the high 190's still no real movement from her & the nurse are starting to worry. OB says keep me hooked up to the CTG, do regular Obs & keep pumping saline through me.
Anyways by 1am her HR finally drops into the 170's again & by 2:30am we can see some more movement from her and her HR is in the 160's & we can finally come off the CTG.
The whole time that was happening i vomited up close to 3 liters of fluid & was having contractions 5mins apart(which I'm thankful died down once she got better).
On a good note I'm 3cms dilated & they can feel Cookie's head & the membranes so at least all that pre-labor has done something.
