I know some ppl swear against them but when we were trying to get Rhys to sleep through and putting into his cot from the cradle we used a dummy just to soothe him. He never wanted it during the day or anything just night sleeping and it was a god send!! Have you tried that Amber?? Might be your last resort before the controlled crying...god lets hope it doesn't get to that tho.
-
Trish he is in his own big bed first and if he wakes before DH goes to work he goes back in there! I have tried to be frim with him and tell him no it was workign but this past week he just seems to have become the devil child lol! He is asleep by about 7 ish. i was bathing and trying to put him straight to bed but the carryon was unbarebale so this way is alot calmer iykwim.
Amelia Myles would never take a dummy! We didnt want him to have one but after 6 months of no sleep we tried them and he would spit them out and grab for boob!
Mo so glad i am not alone!
-
Ohhh that sucks....have you tried more then one brand?? I know I went out and bought 6 different ones and then boughta cheap happy baby one and loved that one....also the difference between the silicone andthe latex ones too might be what he doesnt like.
-
I didnt want to use ones that werent not BPA free so there are not too many to choose from! Fingers crossed next bubs will be a better a sleeper or I am sending it back
-
Is he sick or teething atm Amber? Maybe that's why he's being a shocker? K really is the devil-child while he teeths. I was almost in tears this evening while I was trying to cook dinner, I'd had enough! It sounds like you are doing a great job, you have him in his own bed to start with, that's great! What would happen if you hopped into his bed when he wakes up and just cuddle him and try get him back to sleep that way? I don't know if there is room for you in there! This might help break the habit of him coming into your bed and he might start learning he doesn't need to feed back to sleep. Would he respond to cuddles or rocking? Hopefully this would only be for a short time until he works out he doesn't need a feed. I had to get Joel out of his baby hammock and into a toddler bed when he was nearly two (I know, he was so big, but he wouldn't sleep anywhere else!), the first night I lay next to him while he got sleepy so he wouldn't be distressed. I only had to do that for that first night and he worked it out from there. I know I got lucky in that it was a quick transition! But like you, I didn't want to have to let him cry either, I hate hearing my children cry. Unfortunately as you know, K was a completely different kettle of fish! Gosh I hope I'm not bombarding you tonight!
-
no trish its great to hear some positive no cry stories! Cause i only seem to hear success with CC and it breaks my heart!
The bed is big enough but DH says it wont hold my weight, what is he trying to say im fat :) I find it really hard and tying to try to rock him back too sleep as he gets really distressed and just grabs for boob  I have put his tething necklace on full time and it seems to have worked! I hink he may be cutting a tooth but he isnt in pain iykwim I really need Geoff or someone to be here and have him in another room holding him so he cant have it! I think I will try to be frim tonight its so frustrating! Your the best hun!
-
I know, it is sooo frustrating ! One of the (many) lessons I learned from K (oh the lessons...) is that consistancy is the key. Choose a strategy and stick with it. If you choose to be firm with him and settle him in another way, then keep it up each night so that he gets the message. Myles is a smart little cookie, so if you aren't consistant the next night, he'll try it again ;). It will take a lot of perseverence from you, but it will pay off. What feels like an eternity while you're in the midst of it, may only take a few nights. And when it starts working you will be so glad you stuck it out.
It's such a shame that your DH can't take him like you said so Myles doesn't have access to you. Does he have to leave at midnight? I guess he would in his line of work. You are doing a great job, tired mummy. You will get through this and you aren't alone, we are here to support you, hug you (well, cyber hug ;)) and cheer you on .
-
Trish what can I say thank you so very much! I am going to be consistant with him starting from tonight! And I know you will keep tabs so I wont be able to slip up lol!
Thanks girls for all your support I hope one day I can do the same for you! Mwah!!!
-
I'll definitely be keeping tabs on you LOL! But only coz I care . If you're feeling like you can't do it any more, you let us know so we can keep encouraging you :).
Oh, and set yourself a goal. Maybe something like: I'll try this strategy for xxx number of nights (it will be tiring at first, so make yourself mentally prepared for that) and if it doesn't work (but it will ;)), then I will try something else. Most habits with bubs can take anywhere from 3 to 14 days to form if that gives you a rough idea. Setting a goal makes it easier to keep going on.
Good luck tonight, I'll be thinking of you and praying for ya .
-
Gosh I missed out on a megga conversation and didn't get to put my two bobs worth in!
Amber Chicky I am with Trish BIG TIME on this. Consistency is the key. I was in your boat not long ago with Max and the overnight bfing. I was tired, grumpy....max was tired and grumpy...DH was completely copping it...life was well....$hite and I wasn't UTD!! THEN I decided...tonight I will cut out one feed (coz Max was waking at the same times every night for a 'snack'). It felt like hell on earth. He woke....I said "No boobie, it's all gone" and he scrrrrreeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaammmmed!!! I just held him, and rocked him until he fell asleep again. The next night he didn't wake at that timeslot, but if he woke for another at the other timeslot....I would boob him up. Then I decided the next week, I would cut out the other feed....he did the scream thing again, and after I think 2 nights, he didn't bother with it at all. At this point I was co-sleeping with him on the spare bed...so DH was in one room and I was in another! Once I was done (well max was done) with bfing...I had to do the next thing which was no more co-sleeping. As you know I took the rails off Max's cot and he likes that much better. At first I would get a foam mattress and put it on the floor in his room, and if he woke up, I would tell him to lie back down....and he would go back to sleep. Eventually I could go back to my own room and he would sleep without me in there. Max WILL still wake everynight, once or twice....pretty much only coz he's lost his dummy, or he's hot/cold. At times I think he even does it just to check I'm still around and I DO lie in his bed with him (lets remember it was a COT at one point and I weigh 72kg!!!!!) and it comforts him enough to go back to sleep and I can leave again.
So...even though I've spilled my whole story on the matter....the point is....be consistent and do one thing at a time. Do it slowly and do it your own way. It will end!
LET US SUPPORT YOU!!! HUGS xoxo
Trish You are a special woman :) That is all!!
Well....Singapore was great! It was so clean and pretty but bl00dy HOT and muggy! Blergh! We found an area we like there called Clarke Quay/Robertson Quay and found an apartment complex around that area that we liked. It's brand new and pretty schmick! It should for about $7k a month (good thing DH's work is paying for this!) We havent signed anything up yet but at least we have a start. We still don't know when things are going to be really happening, but I'm guessing that DH will have to be up there before me so he can set up a bit and I can tie loose ends here. We'll be renting out our place and I'll be moving some essential things to my Mums place so we have a base for when we come back for visits.
Max loved it there...he was pretty cruisy the whole time. Apart from the day we went apartment hunting and he was SOOO tired and hungry by the end of the day....poor little mite! When we first got to the hotel (we were on the 55th floor), I went out onto the balcony and said "Wow"....well, that was it...Max's new word is "WOW" ALLLL the time! It's pretty damn cute I must say. He's a big fan of fried rice and quay teow (sp?!) so I think he'll embrace the asian culture! I'll put some pics on fb soon!
Well that's it from me! Hi to everyone! (Mo love your new pics of your kiddlies!)
-
Oh and I forgot one thing.....Amber I figured out once I slept on Max's mattress that it was really uncomfortable....so I got him a bit of foam and put in on top of the mattress. It's softer and warmer and obviously more comfy for him too :)
-
Thanks Julia ! Sounds like you will love singapore!
Last night was interesting. He went to sleep with a bit of fuss and then woke not long after I came to bed. I tolld him to go back to sleep and he wouldnt he cried and climbed all over me! Once he had kinda woken up a bit and calmed down i asked him if he would like some water which he shook his head then DH sadi do you want daddy to get you some milk which he drank and went to sleep! So there is a little progress!
I cannot thank you al enough for helping us! It will be a long and hard road but I know it will be ok!
-
Yay Amber!!! :bluecheer: That's awesome progress!!! If you keep that up, he'll get better and better each night. This will be a thing of the past in no time :D
Julia - I'm glad you really enjoyed Singapore! And your post to Amber is awesome advice :D
-
Amber i agree with Trish consistency is the key, I used to sit in Maddi's room beside her cot reading Twilight till she feel asleep every night for ages, but after a few days she went to sleep quicker & quicker each time.
So glad last night went better :)
Julia Glad you had a good trip.
Phil is working with his Dad today so I'm stuck with one little feral & one little Angel.
Yep it's only 8:17 & Maddi is already giving me attitude, I'm in for a loooong day.
-
Mo hope Maddi isnt feral all day! Myles is the same at the moment! But only when we are alone! Drives me insane!
Trish fingers crossed your right!
Well off to see chicago today with my mum and my aunt is watching Myles for the first time hope he behaves! Am really looking forward to spending some time out of the house!
Have a good day girls  xxx
-
Amber hope you enjoy Chicago.
Hopefully Mj will wake up in a better mood once she goes down for her nap.
-
Amber- good to hear that things are looking up. Yup, whatever you do you need to be consistent. Good thing that Mr M doesn't like the dummy as we have major dummy and cuddle toy attachment problems here.
Trish- thanks for the indigestion advice. Had a better night/day so hopefully it has passed, but I'm sure it'll be back.
Julia - I think we did a canal cruise in the Quay area of Singapore. Is it in the restaurant area? Very cosmopolitian.
-
Here I am butting in on the convo too!
In the early days, Caden was a living nightmare! He would scream and scream especially at the end of the day. Ok, we went to Ngala and did a teensy bit of CC - although I rush to add that it wasn't really CC in that he was crying anyway, the difference was that I wasn't holding him  so it is not as if I was causing him distress that he wouldn't have been in anyway (needless justification...). Anyhoo, it all worked out in the end and he has been a dream sleeper since. Even when he is sick and/or upset, I don't use CC. I simply calm him down, say good night, and pop him back into bed. You know what? if he keeps crying, I simply get him up again and distract him for a bit.
Like Trish said - consistency is key! I find that a routine, such as brush teeth, dinner, bed, works well. And if he wakes now in the night it is just try anything (other than giving him milk) to get him to sleep.
Hugs hun, it is rough going but I promise it gets better!
As for us, not much going on. Had an interview today for the promotion at work. Feeling about 50/50 that I will get through to the next stage. They are interviewing 6 out of 70 applicants, so I should feel good that I got this far. TBH I am not sure if I am ready for a promotion yet, on account of the full-time hours. My ideal is that DH gets a decent full time job and I can tick away on 3 days per week :wall: I guess time will tell...
Well, better go play with the mini-man before bed,
-
Thanks DB means alot that you shared your story and no need to justify yourself we all do what we beleive is right! Good luck with the promotion!
Saffi, thankls hun! How is the intergestion?
Mo Did MJ wake up happy?
Chicago was great! We were 4 rows from the front so nice and close! We are seeing Cats in august so cant wit for that!
Seeing my OB tomorrow morning sooo excited! My appoinntment is at 9 so nice and early! Will let you know how it goes!
Better go! xxx
-
Oooo Amber can't wait to hear how your visit at the OB goes! I've seen Cats...I loved it! Especially the make up!! :)
Saffi - yeah....there are loads of restaurants around there...seems to be a bit 'happening'....I didn't want to be bored...seeing as I'll probably be the only woman in Singapore raising my own child, may as well be where the action is! HOpe everyone else had a fabbo day today and that tomoz is even better! I'm off to do the dishes now...boring! xo
-
Morning all!
Just popping in to see how you went last night Amber :). I hope you had an OK night and are holding up. Glad you had a great time seeing Chicago, I've only seen the movie, but I loved it! Good luck at your OB appointment this morning!!
Hi to everyone else! Sorry for no more personals, I've gotta run, we're going away for the long weekend (leaving early this arvo), so I've got to finish packing the caravan! Have a great Easter everyone :D
-
Amber nope she woke up maybe even more grumpy. Thank goodness her great aunty came over for a few hours & entertained her.
Hope you had a better night with Myles & sounds like you would of got an awesome view of Chicago
-
Hello gorgeous ladies!
Last night was a it of a shocker but its only the second night so am being optimistic! Ob appointment went well! We have just one lil bubba in there! measuring 10 weeks but I am sure that will change! I am leaving my ticker as is :P My Ob is fantastic! She had a chat with me about Myles birth cause I was a little traumatised by it and said we will chat more to make sure I am not worried about this next one! Which I am not caue it will be quick and active!
Anyway my beautiful supportive mummies and freinds, we are off to somerset for the weekend and I will get to sleep in every day YAY! Have a wonderful easter, dont eat too much chocolate, and will talk to you when I get back! Unless we leave tomorrow i might be be on tonight!
Mwah x
-
Amber - glad to hear the ob appointment went well. One thing I was going to suggest with Myles was to offer him a cup of milk at night instead of boob.. someone might have already said that tho? Enjoy your sleep ins on the weekend!
Trish - you've prob already left, but have a great weekend away! Tahlia loves the rock a bye your bear song too, she also sshhhhes me and she also does the la la la la la bit and the rocking the bear part... its so cute!
Minimax - how exciting that you found somewhere! I saw the pics on facebook, Max looks like he had a great time!
Dragonbub - good luck with the promotion!
Saffi - hope the indigestion is improving, I remember having it with Tahlia too... a glass of cold milk used to help, and if that didnt help, then I'd go for the rennies (yuk!)
Mo - glad to hear Cookie had a great weight gain. I hope Maddi is behaving for you today!
Hi to everyone else!
Just got home from our mothers group easter lunch, the kids all had a great time, and then they swapped easter eggs so it all got a bit messy! Now she is sleeping, which I am surprised about, cause I thought she'd be hyped up on chocolate!
See ya!
-
-
Amber enjoy your weekend away & i hope Myles behaves himself for you.
Great news about your OB appt :)
Kellie i bet the kids loved all the easter eggs.
What did everyone get their little ones for easter?
We got Maddi a Dora dvd & a doll, Kodi got a pooh bear outfit & some plain jumpsuits.
Maddi's Aunty is doing a egg hunt tomorrow, so that's why i didn't bother getting her any eggs.
If i don't make it back on Hope everyone has a fantastic Easter.
-
Mo - going out today to find something for L for Easter. I was thinking about a little bunnykins egg cup or plate or something. Don't like the idea of too much chocolate at this age. I know his nanny has got him a chocolate egg so will leave that for his treat.
Kellie - indigestion has eased.
AFU - L is saying a new word "shoe". He takes our shoes off us and then tries to put them on again or even wear them himself. So cute. He also says u'oh all the time - when he drops things, when DH breaks suddenly in the car, etc. Trying to teach him something else like wow (or crikey - DH's idea ).
For Mums of boys - what are your bubs weighing in at these days? L is around the 12kg mark. He doesn't seem to have much of a toddler tummy tho but is well padded so I'm not concerned.
Anyone else finding bubs are being difficult with their eating?
Anyway, if I don't get in beforehand have a Happy Easter and hope the Easter bunny visits the mummies as well as the bubbies.
-
Saffi...'Wow' is a good one to teach them! I use it as Max's party trick at the mo! Max weighs 12kg as well....he has since he was 12 months! So glad it's evened out.....I thought he was going to be massive!
Hope everyone is well and is having a good easter weekend. We did a practice easter egg hunt in the garden last night with a friend and her little boy! Max knew what to do so will do it again Sunday (with the same recycled eggs!) Max loves chocolate, but i usually only give him white choc buttons! He munched on an egg he squashed last night though!
Gotta go.....Max is majorly whinging....I think he's getting a cold! Boo Hooo!
-
hellooooooooo.... is there anyone out there? or are you all still pigging out on chocolate like me! he he he
Hope everyone had a great easter, Tahlia got way too much chocolate from everyone, and boy did we pay for it on Sat night, she was up screaming for 1.5 hours, she wouldnt let me cuddle her (which is unusual when she is upset), she was pushing us away and hitting us and arching her back so I think the chocolate gave her a belly ache. She still ate more yesterday but I made sure it was in the morning and early afternoon, not too close to bed time and she was ok last night, apart from waking up at 5.45am
Saffi - Tahlia is obsessed with shoes! She is being called imelda cause of it, I found her yesterday, her drawer where her shoes are kept was left slightly open so she was sitting in front of it playing with them, all I could hear was 'shoes' and 'pretty', so cute!
Hope everyone had a great easter, and come and say hello!
-
Helloooooo............
Kellie - L had a major chocolate sugar high on saturday and again on sunday. On Sat he only had one egg and on Sun had bits of 3 mini eggs. Boy was he hyper. Yesterday we went to a park and just ran him for an hour or so to burn it off. His nanny gave him a 250gr egg plus little mini eggs so I will be rationing them for sometime to come (if I don't get to them first LOL).
Mo - we ended up getting L a Bob Builder plate, bowl and cutlery set, plus a little ceramic egg cup (both have chocs in them).
Have had a great weekend just chilling out and not doing much at all. L even let us sleep in until 8am this morning!
-
Hey girls, I feel like i havent posted forever and have just had a quick catch up in here as to what is going on with who! Looks like its been a bit quiet, which can only mean people are busy or have been away for easter like us! We went to Mt Gambier in SA which is where I am originally from. We left at 2am Friday morning and got there around 8am, and had an hour sleep in a parking bay along the way! It was my dh's idea, and I have to say that it was a good one. Girls slept the whole way and it was a peaceful and stress free trip. We have just got back, so now I get to face the unpacking and washing ... which is my favourite part about coming home .... NOT!
I hope that you have all had a fantastic weekend and your little ones have enjoyed the choccie's in moderation as much as my two have!
-
Maddi also had a major sugar high & it took forever to get her to sleep Friday, so she had a chocolate free day on Saturday & only a few eggs on Sunday. She was more pleasant to be around except for when she kicked Cookie twice on purpose. The girl is gonna send me grey before i turn 24.
Kaz glad you had a nice time away.
Julia had did Max go on Sunday with the egg hunt?
Saffi i bet L loves his btb plate set, has he used it yet? Maddi will only use her favorite Dora or Elmo bowl & plate to eat off.
Kellie I've been a huge choccie pig this year. I just can't help buying an egg or bunny every time I'm in coles etc... lol
-
Hi everyone!! Feels like it has been ages since i was here and in fact it has been a month - have been REALLY busy with work! REALLY REALLY busy!! No excuse I know but......when i can get away from in front of the computer i do!!
Anyway - am glad to hear that things seem to be going so well for everyone! Look at all the expectant mums-to-be-again!! Oh I wish!!
Anyway - a little update - Caitlyn is attempting to eat with a spoon/fork although most of the time she holds the spoon/fork in one hand and eats the food with the other. but we are getting there. We offer Caitlyn cups of milk through the day and she is down to about 2 bottles now. Still a bit reliant on the milk to get her fed though. she says lots of words now - uhoh, ummah, broken, gone, shoes, dog, cat, tata, please, thank you, seeya, wowoo(think wolf whistle...) help and drink... talkative little thing.....unfortunately she also picked up the "S" word from me - my bad!! she dropped my mobile, i said oh S, and she walked around the house saying it.....ooops!!
anyway - unfortunately that is all i have time to say at the mmoent - work has restarted the server and i need to log back in.....i will TRY REALLY HARD!!! to keep popping in - i have been slack!!
Oh and can i say that eve though it has taken me a while i am now thoroughly addicted to the twilight saga!! I know someone in here was talking about it so i thought i would grab twilight and read it while i was in Toowoomba - i finished it by tyhe next moring and went and bought the other 3 and read them within 2 days!!! Now i have seen the movie! am addicted!!!!! HELP!!!!
-
Hey everyone! I'm back from our long weekend away and I am soooo tired and sore. I told DH this was definitely my last camping trip while I'm pg, my body can't take it anymore! We had such a great time though, it's just my pregnant body that wouldn't comply. We went to Wilson's Prom again with some friends and the weather was awesome, Joel got lots of surfing in with DH & K loved going on lots of walks and for rides on the back of DH's bike. Since coming home yesterday I have done about 7 loads of washing LOL! So much to catch up on and I just wanna sleep all day! I have to go out for a family BBQ tonight minus DH who has to play tennis, I hope I can get through it.
Rebecca - Welcome back! I've been thinking of you, wondering how you and Caitlyn are going. I'm glad to hear you are both doing well, it sounds like you are so busy!
Mo - Arrrgh @ Maddi kicking Kodi! It can be so hard to manage to little ones when the youngest is defenseless. Just wait until Kodi can dish it straight back LOL!
Kaz - Sounds like you had a great weekend away :). How much does the unpacking and washing suck?!
Saffi - Sounds like L scored well over Easter! Our boys got heaps too, but DH & I will be "helping" them eat it LOL!
Kellie - Poor Tahlia getting a chocolate tummy ache! I've had many of those in my own lifetime !
Julia - We did an Easter egg hunt too, it's so cute to watch them!
Amber - I hope you had a great weekend away and got to sleep in! How have you been going at night? Don't forget we're all here if you need to whinge/vent/celebrate! Ooh, and I'm so glad your OB appointment went well :D
A big "HI!" to everyone else!
-
 I am sick! Its been coming on and the girls have had sniffles for the past week, but we have kept them dosed up on Demazin and they have been pretty good. But today I have woken up with a stuffed up head, shocking headache and I JUST WANT TO SLEEP!! No such luck though with 2 littlie's running around the place.
I also thought I havent given you an update on our attempt to have another baby for a while. Both Bruno and I have now had all of our tests, and we go back to the specialist at the end of this month. My doctor is going to put me on fertility meds, providing all the tests went well. I am interested to see what happens, because at the end of March I actually had my first cycle since the m/c (Dec) and when I rang her, she said that doesnt mean I am ovulating again! So who knows, but I will keep you posted. So another baby definately isnt off of the table, its just a little further down the track for us than planned!
Trish - camping trip sounds great, and I am sure you cant wait to get back to 'normal' once No 3 comes along! Pregnancy has limitations, and I get really tired with just my girls and not being pregnant, so hats off to you! Oh and have fun washing, drying, folding and putting away the clothes!
Bec - you sounds really busy 2. Caitlyn sounds like she is doing well. Tay has been 'feeding' herself since about 12 months. I think its thanks to her big sister and needing to keep up with her. She is only just now getting it and holding the spoon the right way up! Haha. But try and help her and we soon get told to back off ... what attitude for such little people!
Mo - I read about what Maddi did to Kodi and its all very familiar. My parents always used to say, look out Mia when Tay got going because of the hard time Mia used to give Tay when she was defenseless. They are so quick, so its hard to always catch them and stop them in the act. Tay I have to say gets her own back now. Mia has come off second best more than once. Its really hard to get it through to them that hitting, biting etc isnt allowed ... we do time out here with Mia. With Tay, she still gets a tap on the hand and a firm NO, but its water off a ducks back most of the time with her! She is a bit more of a tough nut than Mia was at this age.
Hi to everyone else!
-
We gave a Maddi a time out in her cot, because when i told her off she kicked Kodi a 2nd time.
Took M to the Dr's for her chickenpox vaccine, while waiting she chucked the biggest tanty, talk about embarrassing. She's throwing herself on the floor, squealing in her highest pitch. I just wanted to walk off & pretend she wasn't mine lol.
Kaz hope you feel better soon & the girls don't get too sick.
Good news about the Dr's, hope your dream of a 3rd child isn't far off.
Trish glad you had a nice time away. I hope you get to rest up a bit now.
Rebecca Nice to hear from, good to hear You & C are doing well :)
-
Hello All,
Just whizzing by to say hi! Gotta go give blood in the minute so must fly. However, just thought I would say that Caden has been SOOO talkative lately! All of a sudden he just copies words, like truck, duck, stuck, uh oh, mummy, daddy, woof woof, book, nappy, poo poo, wee wee (when performing the act), yummy, me, and so many others! I name something and he repeats it, it is so cute!
Anyway, enough bragging, better go do my bit for the "year of the blood donor!".
Have a great week everyone,
-
Hi everyone
Just a quick one...Max is sick (and so am I) he did the biggest projectile spew in the car this morning...so gross! He's had a sleep so now I'm trying to distract him...think I'll walk to the shops.
Trish I know..how cute was their easter egg hunting...I might start doing it with other things as a game! The worst thing about holidays...is the million loads of washing when you get back! Hope you aren't busting yourself too hard with all the baby baking going on in you!
Kaz Hope you're feeling better and GOOD LUCK with all the baby stuff!
Bec Good to 'see' you in here! DOn't work too hard now!
Kellie A shoe obsession already...You're in trouble!
Mo You've reminded me....gotta do chickenpox Vax...erk! HOpe Maddi has been better for you these last few days
Dragon Wow all those words...it's funny how they go from learning 1 thing rapidly to switching to another! Remember...no swearing! :)
Hi to everyone else, hope you are all well too!
-
We went & saw Ange today. So Maddi spent the day with her Aunty & was a total angel for her. How typical! At least she behaved herself i guess.
Saskia is such a little cutie, Lulu is as gorgeous as always & Ange is looking really good.
Julia hope you & Max get better soon.
DB Maddi is also saying so many more words, It's amazing how quickly they pick them up.
-
Mo - they are always angels for other people ... when you work out why it works like that let me know?!
[B]Julia[B] - I hope that Max has picked up for you ... I hate it when they are vomiting. Poor little helpless things!
Dragon - like you we have a very vocal 18 month old as well, we are a bit amazed at the things she is saying at the moment. She is very big on her please's and thankyou's and ta's! At the moment her new thing in the morning when I get her up is ... "wanna talk to pa" .... soooooooo cute!
Trish - have you got through the washing, drying and putting away from your trip yet? Now its wet, its airer time!
No real news here, apart from the fact that I have had no sleep last night. Feeling pretty good on all accounts, but we have put Tay back in her room and Mia is alone in hers again. Our trial to get the girls sleeping better through the night come crashing down last night, when we had two hysterical girls at 3am. We will see how they go tonight, back to their normal beds and sleeping arrangements! We felt like it was 2 soon to put Tay into a bed, but Mia was in a bed at 18 months and was really ready and we were willing to try anything to stop Mia from not wanting to go to bed and Tay waking at 4am. It did work initially, but slowly unravelled. Tay is more of a baby if that makes sense and still seems 2 little 2 be in a bed.
Anyway, i better go. I have one load of washing to go and then i need to wash some shoes!
