Morning everyone! Feeling so bizarre today, I can't explain it, but I don't like it LOL! Stoopid hormones. I am feeling really antsy, like I need to be doing something, but there is nothing left to do. It's making me feel agitated and teary ha ha! How weird am I? I hate how hormones can make us irrational, I'm normally a pretty calm person! I am waiting for a customer to arrive so I can't really get stuck into anything until she's gone, but I honestly have done EVERYTHING that could possibly be done around the house. Maybe I'll clean the outside windows??? LOL sorry for the weird hormonal rant .
K is going great now he's over all his sicknesses. Sleeping through the night with no probs, hooray! He has lots of new words. The other night he told me the scratch on his face "stings" and was "sore". He also says "Pew...stinks" when I'm changing a pooey nappy, it's very cute! The other night DH was surfing the net while dinner was waiting for him on the table. K said "Daddy, ninny" and pointed to DH's dinner on the table, hee hee (ninny is his word for dinner, awww).
Amber - Glad your early doula appointment went well . How are you feeling? Hopefully you are recovering from your nasty cold.
Julia - Woohoo on Max's sleeping! Oh, and I hear you on those hormones! I hope you haven't had any more episodes
Kaz - I don't know anything about Monash sorry. They have a great rep from what I've heard though!
Mo - How are you feeling today? I hope those AB's have well and truly kicked in and you're starting to feel more human again.
Still sick here, Poor Kodi has the runny nose & Maddi has something just not sure what lol.
I'm thinking a sore throat as she only wants to eat & drink cold things.
Took M to her Paed appt yesterday & it went really well, There is nothing medically wrong with her, so it's behavioral. She's not losing weight or gaining any, but she is thriving with her growth, motor & language skills.
So the plan is to just let her keep grazing, keep giving her the watered down juice, give her the multi vitamin & get her into a sleep school. We go back in 2 months if nothing is improving to figure out a different plan.
While we were there i got him to check out Kodi's head( i paid $300 for the visit i want my money's worth lol) Kodi's head is growing very slowly, it's in the 25% now, but at least it's growing.
He wants us to get her head measured regularly by our health nurse. So Kodi may just be a petite little girl & not a big boofa like her sister.
I'll bbl M needs a nappy change, even with a blocked a nose i can smell it!
OK back & what a shocker of a night, M's had a temp all night so was up at 11pm. Waking every 1hr or so and then at 3:30 she decided to get up for good.
Kodi's still in bed trying to catch up on her sleep i think, She's not a fan of Maddi co-sleeping with us lol.
Amber-You will get the birth you want this time, Having a doula will give you the extra support you need.
Hope you & Myles are better soon, you fly out in a week
Kellie hope you had a good night's sleep.
Trish-I Hope all this extra energy means your bundle wants to come out early.
A real quick one as we're flying out to Thailand this arvo. We are going to Pattaya where Ben's Dad lives. It will be the 3rd time Max will get to see his Granddad....he has a daughter younger than Max....weird!
Mo, Amber and kiddlies....I hope you all get well really soon. You need to be all better for your big meet up. So wish I could be there. If I had of been in perth I think I would have come over too!
Trish - I kind of know the feeling.....it must be like all of a sudden you are desperate for everything to be finished and tidy for when baby comes. Hopefully she will be here REALLY sooon! I cant wait to hear of her arrival!
Well better go...I can't think straight and Max is bored and wants to play...I'm going to write a LIST!!
Feeling a bit better hormonally today LOL! It's funny how I'll have a hormonal day and then the next day the baby or my body has changed somehow. The day before bub engaged I had a really hormonal day and when she's moved down more I've noticed I was cranky/teary the day before. So funny! Today I've had a really tight tummy, like it's contracted, but staying that way IYKWIM. Never had that before so I have no idea what that means! I've also had heaps of BH's, especially when I'm doing housework, so hooray that my body is doing some positive things before labour begins! Oooh, I'm having a really big one as I type this...I hope this means I'll have a really quick labour when it finally does begin LOL! I've got a midwife appointment at 5:10pm today and am looking forward to finding out how bub is going.
Julia - Ooh, I am so jealous! I'd love to visit Thailand one day! Have a great time
Mo - What a shocker of a night! I hope you're doing OK today and resting as much as possible.
Kellie - I don't know if labour is near, but my hormones were having a field day yesterday . How are you and Tahlia going? How are you finding work?
Trish what are you still doing here, your suppose to be off having your little bundle :P
Hope your not waiting for too much longer, when do you think she'll come?
Julia enjoy your trip to Thailand.
Maddi has an ear infection, so more anti b's for her & the Dr's changed me to different anti b's in hopes we can get rid of this darn flu.
Mo - Poor Maddi . I hope the AB's work really quickly for her, it's horrible when they get so sick. I couldn't even try to guess when this little miss will arrive! I'm just hoping she arrives before my birthday so I get to cuddle her on the day, that would be the ideal birthday pressie
Mo poor maddi , kodi and you! Hope you all get better before we come down Trish so what did the ob say???? Sounds promising! Woohoo Julia wooho Thailand very jealous :P Kelllie hope all is well down your ened!
Went to the ob today no GD but am anemic which is a bummer i am really going to have to have my ceiolacs tested ,my aunt is one and we think it runs in the family...it will be good in a way wont ber able to pig out as much lol!
Myles is getting better we are all just big snot balls
Morning! Had an ordinary night, K woke once (I think he couldn't find his dummy?) and it took me over an hour to fall back to sleep, grrrr! Then DH got up at the crack of dawn for work and K woke up at 6am because he heard DH's car start up. Grrrr again!
The midwife appointment went well, the little miss is well and truly down and ready to come out. The midwife said that she is slightly posterior atm, but this could change (even in labour). She suggested I sit forward in a chair for 15 minutes a day to help bub move.
Amber - Bummer about the anemia . Are you taking supplements? I've always had iron issues so I take Fefol daily. I also have an Aunty with coeliacs (sp?) and have often wondered if I may have it. I had the blood test which came back negative, but apparently it's not very reliable and you're best to go for a colonscopy to get diagnosed (hence why I haven't been tested further LOL).
Wow, have we had some things happen or what in this thread!! Congrats to Terri, Nerida and Willow on the arrival of their bundles.
Trish - You can't be fair away now....hopefully being a girl you will have a different birth to the boys!! Lol.
Willow, Nerida and Terri - How r u going with everything??
Julia - Have fun in Thailand.
Celtic - Sorry to hear about your loss.
Kaz - How are you plodding along?? Have you decided on whether you are finding out the sex or anything yet??
Kim - Are you around anymore?? How are you and your 3 kidlets going??
Amber - How are you and Nudge going?? Is M getting any better??
Mo - How are your two going??
Everyone seems to have someone sick in their household at the moment. Rhys has his first ever inner ear infection and has been on 3 different AB's and none agree with him so he is on nothing for 3 days to let his tummy settle back down cause they have caused him to have the runs, throw up whatever he has eaten.....Not a happy kid at all!! He started day care last week and loved it and I already had to pull him out this week cause of all this. Such is life tho. DH got his tax return and I got my lump sum from CL so I have been out spending up BIG!! Got Rhys a Maxi Rider AHR and he loves it....thinks he is king of the world!! Lol.
Got to see Bubba H yesterday cause I had my specialist scan yesterday to see where my placenta is and it is all clear of my c/s scar from Rhys so now I have to wait to see the hospital next week to see what they think is the best plan for me but my plan is a VBAC!! H is only weighing approx 2060grams at the moment......alot smaller then what Rhys was I can tell you that!! Member I think Rhys was the biggest born in our group at 9lb 8oz (4.310kg) and he was 10kg by his 4 month check up!!
Well, HELLO to any one I forgot and hope you are all well!!
Amelia good luck wiht your VBAC!!!!! I hope you get M is still a little sick just a cold! Poor R hope he is better soon! Trish yeah i ahve to take FGF which is what i was on beofre conciveing M come out little miss i want to meet you xx
im being a bad mummy tonight..M has gone to stay at nanas but still ahs a cold does that make me mean???? I figure he will have to know its ok to be there if he is sick cause what if he is sick when Nudger comes?????
Amber your not a bad Mum, in fact i'm sending M & Phil over there tonight for dinner.
I wont let M stay the night there as i have issues with her, Mainly she just annoys me & i hate the way she favors Maddi over Kodi. So i punish her by not taking Kodi over there often & very rarely letting her look after Maddi. I know it's childish but she started it lol
Amber - if you held off doing anything because M is sick you'd never go anywhere or do anything LOL. We might be at the end of our tether because we have had days of grumpy toddlers others are able to cope as it is just one day/night. Hope you enjoyed your time off. Amelia - hope you get your VBAC. Will you be going to Logan Hospital? I hear good things about it.
We're doing ok. In some ways things are a lot easier with Immi being the second - I know what I am doing but then its hard because I can't give L the same amount of attention. Have noticed he is naughtier than usual atm. Trish - How are you going?
Mo - hope you are feeling better soon.
Bit sad as my parents are going home today. Mum's been up since Immi's birth. She has been washing and ironing and doing general housey stuff which has really helped. Also another pair of arms to nurse Immi. DH is off for another 3 weeks so at least I won't be on my own for a while yet.
Hi to everyone else. I'm around but don't have a lot of time at present to post.
Just a quick one, Ryan a bit full on at the moment has a slight sinus infection hurting his teeth, been very clingey. I have a post op infection and need to take 2 weeks of 2 different antibiotics or more surgery FUN I feel ok though just weak and a bit sore in the tummy
Other than that, work being evil, uni work going no where, and mostly spamming facebook I keep forgetting to log in here so slack!!
Hope you are all feeling better, everyone seems to have something at the moment
Loves to all and congrats again on the bundles.
Got good news from the dr once this infection is gone I can start ttc after one cycle, physically all else is good and no damage to the girl bits
Just a little WOO HOO from me - Picked up the nersury furniture and everything yesterday and got it all put together and now it is a full room.....just have to wait for a baby to be in it!! Lol. Very happy with it though......All clothes and everything were washed last week but now have to wait for all my cloth nappies to turn up and I will have more washing to do!!
