I am glad Maddi had fun Mo, not long to go now and its Tay's birthday. She walks around saying she is going to be two now, it is really cute! I was looking at her this morning and just cannot believe where the time has gone. They just grow so quickly. I think I am pretty much organised for her birthday party, just a bit of cooking to do later in the week. My biggest wish right now though is that the weather holds out on Saturday, as we are having her party in the park!
Amelia - I keep watching your count down and how much you are still doing and I am wondering where you get all of your energy from? I have so much less this time around, hopefully now I am on some vitamins with high iron I might pick up!
:hello: to everyone else. It has been a bit quiet in here as well. I guess all of the new mums are being kept really busy with their littlies and new babies these days. Sometimes I cannot comprehend having 3, but it is going to be here before we know it. 20 weeks today, big scan on Thursday which I am really excited about. We have the babysitter lined up, so my dh and I can actually just enjoy this one without having the kids to look after as well.
Better go, so many jobs to do today and none of us are dressed yet since we all slept until 9 this morning. Great sleep in I hear you say? Yes I know, but not so great that we were up 5 times between the girls last night. Ferrying them back to bed everytime they tried to come into ours, and then we had the screaming matches that followed. What a fun night it was!
Kaz i hope the weather hold out for you as well.
Just gone through all the stuff M got for her b'day,
She got Dora clothes, some beautiful old style dresses, 5 different Dora dolls & a talking back pack set, Books, Earrings, Shape-o ball, Dora pillow, Dora showbag, this really cool monkey, 3 Different Dora towels, Dora bed set, Dora white/chalk board, Dora rashie, 2 dolls & 1 of those giant balls with ears you hold while jump with it.
I got some party pics up on FB, but she was so active it was almost impossible to get a pic of her.
She didn't even want to know me or Phil on the day lol.
Hi everyone! I wonder if I'll get time to write a decent post LOL...
I hope you're all doing well, so many babies on the way now! All is going good here, the boys are going a bit stir crazy indoors, but we really need the rain so I won't complain! K went outside to play earlier and came inside soaking wet, I had to literally wring his pants out!! I had to completely strip him off and start again with his clothes, at least he had fun . It's so weird to have puddles in our backyard, we've never really had them before. And there was water running down the kerb on our street, I haven't seen that happen for years :o.
Alana is going great, she's feeding and sleeping really well. We have a great routine happening atm and it's working well for us all. It's easier while Joel is on holidays from kinder though! The drop offs and pick ups really throw a spanner in the works. Next year he'll be at school so it will be easier to tailor a routine around school hours.
Mo - I'm glad Maddi's birthday party went well, she sounds like she had a ball! Wow, she got a lot of Dora stuff LOL!
Kaz - How fast has the last 2 years gone?! It's amazing isn't it? Oh well, you get to start all over again soon :D
Saffi - How are you guys going? I hope you're feeling a bit better about weaning Immi now, it definitely sounds like the right thing for you guys. Being stressed trying to BF is no good for you or your family .
Kellie - Hope you're OK, I saw your FB status . Is your DH back so he can look after you?
Willow - I'm glad D is doing well now :D. I took Alana to the chiro last week for a check over and we're going again on Thursday, luckily there is nothing major to worry about. Oh and we're finally having success with that first nap! The last nap of the day is definitely the hardest now too.
Amelia - Wow, only 2 days until you get to meet your little one!!! I look forward to hearing all about him/her :D
Amber - I hope you're feeling OK today you poor thing. How's the nesting going?
Nic - How exciting about TTC next year!!
Julia - How is the preggie lady going? Have you had any m/s?
Tiff - How are you and Tiera going?
Hi to anyone I've missed!
Hooray, I got it all out without being interrupted LOL!
On a completely unrelated note, I'm so peeved atm, I have temporarily closed the biz (still accepting online orders) and left a phone message saying I'm closed due to maternity leave. I'm still getting so many people wanting to come in anyway, grrr! I was nice to one lady who has bought things in the past and made a time with her for yesterday morning. She never turned up, then rang later in the day to say she'll come on Monday morning before 12pm, I told her to email me to confirm a time because I'm busy and need to work things around her visit. 12pm came and went, didn't hear from her. 1pm she calls and leaves a message (I was changing Alana's nappy and couldn't leave her on the change table to answer the phone) saying she's on her way, can I call her mobile to confirm it's OK. I called her mobile, no answer...called again 5 minutes later, no answer...It's now 2:20pm and again she hasn't turned up. Grrrrrr!!!! I am so over it! Sorry for the vent, just needed to let it out...
oh trish hun thats not fair! Hope she apologises  all good here nesting away which is great but i dont have as much energy this pregnancy so i am really feeling it :-(
Mo so glad maddi had a great day! Bet you cant beleive its been 2 years! :leap:
kaz i cant beleive your half way :-o
anyway i am posting fom my phone so better go! Hope your all well!
Belly rubs and toddler hugs to everyone xoxoxoxo
Hi everyone
Been busy busy here....still trying to get my head around the fact that I am not alone sitting on the couch at the moment!!! Little nugget incubating....weird! I still haven't had any major symptoms yet so it still doesn't feel that real...I keep doing tests just to make sure!!! :)
Kellie I can't believe you are 10 weeks already, and Amber, I can't believe you are going to POP any minute.....Kaz....you are half way there too! AND to top it off our 'babies' are going to be 2 in the coming weeks!!! Life is just crazy!
We had friends arrive here yesterday and I had to take her to hospital yesterday with a kidney infection. A bit awful, but should be fine. Saddest thing is that she probably won't be out of hospital before I go home on Wednesday.
I am So excited about going home....I can't wait to put my arms around my big massive hairy pooch! I think I will cry when I see him!!! I know you all think I'm such a doggy dork, but hey, that's me!!! :) We are in the Perth Royal Show on Thursday so that will be an awsome day of just me, my beautiful sister and my precious poochie!
Well that is it from me for now. Just sending lots of love and positive vibes out there for whatever is coming your way!!
MWA xo
Hey everyone,
I have been lurking but not posting...been busy trying to prepare for this bub and make sure that the house is clean from top to bottom and that there is meals in the freezer for DH and Rhys.
Did the floors this morning and have had some contractions since then but nothing major to report. Very very very sore hips now tho!!
Kaz - Yeah I do have heaps of energy actually and chasing after Rhys as well. I am very suprised that I do have as much as I do.
Mo - Happy *belated* Birthday to Miss M!! She got spoilt alright. How is your mum going?
Amber - How you plodding along?? All prepared for Nudge to arrive yet??
Julia - How long you back for?? How long have you been in Singa's for already?? I would be a pooch freak too if I had one like Charlie.....he is to die for!!
Trish - I would be so peeved off if I was you!! I hate it when family is running late let alone someone you have made a appointment for!! Grrrrrrrrrrrr.
That is all I can remember for now!!
Rhys woke up at 5:30 this morning cause the stupid gas people where trying to get into our yard to fill the bottles but the gates had locks on them and his bedroom is at that end of the house. Grrrrrrr, they got a piece of my mind I am telling you!! God, that early is just stupid!!
Well I think that this will be my last post before bubs arrives unless I get a chance to pop in tomorrow sometime. Trish is doing my BA so keep a eye out for it!!
Have a good week all and I will be back in action soon hopefully!!
Mo - I think we are going to be the same with Tay and what presents she gets, cause everyone who has asked what she is into I have told DORA, because she loves her! Oh well, whatever makes them happy I say! We have also brought her a DORA trike and doll with the pony. And as for Maddi not wanting to know you, I am expecting that to happen to us this weekend as well, as I have some of my family coming over.
Trish - Glad to hear things have settled with Alana! It scares me that we are just about to start all over again. Besides the tantrums and no reasoning with the 2 year olds at the moment, they do get easier. Mia is at a great age now. Cheeky, but still good in helping, understanding etc. As for the lady who has not turned up that is just rude. Vent away, we are happy to listen anytime!
Amber - I read your facebook status earlier, sounds like you have been busy as well. What is with you girls and all of the energy? This time around I am zapped of it. I am hoping it returns before I have the baby. My housework has definately slipped since being pregnant this time!
Julia - Sounds like you are really excited to be coming home, yay for you! How long are you staying? I remember being just pregnant and thinking I just want a sign, don't wish 2 hard, cause my morning sickness started not long after!
Mo I forgot to say YAY for Maddy's party going well!! AND
Amelia OMG 2 days to go!!!!!
I think I have my first symptom.....PREGNANCY BRAIN!!! I can't remember much, and lets not fail to mention I'm crap at spelling at the moment!! Well that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!
Hi everyone
Popping in while Immi is in her swing. Hopefully she will drift off to sleep and I can put her down for the evening.
Julia - I completely understand your excitement about seeing Charlie again. I get teary when I leave my puppies when I go on holidays. GL for the show.
Trish - some people are just plain rude. I was thinking when her child arrives she will understand what its like to have to work within the routine of a baby, but it sounds like she already has kids if she's already a customer.
We're going pretty well. Up twice a night (usually 1am-ish and then again at around 5am). Immi is not a good day sleeper so my aim this week is to get her to sleep during the day.
Mo - what happened to Elmo? Sounds like she did very well. We are having a party for L at a playcentre with the bubs from my MG and a few of his little friends from daycare.
Kaz - hope the weather clears for Tay's big day. Hopefully she will get heaps of Dora stuff too.
Amelia- contractions!!! You may end up with a spontaneous labour afterall. Looking forward to reading your BA.
Amber - hi! How's Myles going? He's the next one to turn 2??
Nothing much happening here. Spent the whole day out shopping. I was desparate to get some clothes. Bought a few things which has made me feel better. Immi was pretty well behaved. When she was upset she settled when I put her in the carrier. Did make it difficult to try clothes on tho!
Hi all! I'll BBL with some more personals, but I just wanted to continue on my vent LOL! That lady who no-showed rang me at 3:30pm yesterday to say she'd be over in half an hour. AND she asked me how to get to my house from where she was!!! Just because I live here doesn't mean I automatically know the directions from every suburb in Melbourne LOL! Anyway, half an hour came and went (surprise, surprise) and I didn't hear from her. Well, she rocked up at 5:15pm unannounced! I was SO not happy, I was trying to get dinner organised for the boys and Alana had just woken up crying. I was very quick with her, no friendly chatting from me! I didn't even offer to help her and her DH put the item in their car like I usually do because she'd come at such a cr@ppy time. Anyway, I feel better getting it all out, thanks for listening. [/vent over]
Trish that is just plain rude, did she even apologize?
Amelia GL for tomorrow, look forward to reading you BA :)
Kaz hope your doing ok.
Saffi we still love Elmo, But Dora is her new fav. How are things going with Immi?
Is L loving being a big bother?
Julia i can understand being happy to see you pooch again, he is still apart of your family.
Amelia Good luck for tomorrow hun!  Do you have someone to do your BA????
Trish rude lady! Hope your ok
Mo love the new avvy! Hope your doing ok!
Saffi hey hun! Hows life with your two gorgeous babies!
Yep M is 2 on thursday OMG!!!!! I cannot belive I have had the priviledge of knowing you beautiful ladies for 2 years! Oh and of course being blessed wiht M :) We are having his party on saturday..Wiggle theme of course! So am soo buys organising it!
Went to the hospital today for a tour! Very nice! But not so keen on having to check in in front of the cafe hope i am not screaming the place down lol!
Well am off to lie on the couch! Mwah to you all xxxx
Trish - I'd ban her as a customer if I was you. I hope her purchase was significant enough to warrant the inconvenience she caused you.
Mo - we are going pretty well. Lochie is a good big brother. He always checks what she is up to wants to hold her. I am just waiting for when she gets interested in his toys.
Immi is one of those babies that doesn't need sleep. Her day sleeps are mainly in the swing, in the carrier or on the breast and usually very brief. She's not content to just sit there and watch the world. She wants to be held all the time. This makes it very difficult for me to do anything else. I am up twice a night with her and her longest sleep is about 5 hours. I am getting very familiar with late night TV. Any wisdom or advice as a second time Mum would be appreciated.
Amber - I was in Room 1007. The hospital was pretty nice and the birthing suites were much better than the old hospital.
Immi's demanding my attention so I best be off.
Hi ladies! Just popping in quickly to announce that Amelia has had Bubba H! Harrison Jon Samuel arrived at 10:58am today. I have posted a BA with all the details here: http://forums.bellybelly.com.au/foru...40#post1991340
Congratulations Amelia!
Will hopefully BBL...
Congrats Amelia! Great name! xxx
Hi girls, just a quick note to let you know that I am ok in case you have read any of my posts on facebook. I had a bit of a scare yesterday. I had two big fluid losses yesterday morning and was scared my waters had broken. I rang the ob who told me to ring the hospital, who got me to take some pain relief and put a pad on, sit still for half and hour and see what happened. I was a bit damp but nothing serious. I rang the hospital back and they said it sounds like I have a uti cause I was getting pain in my back and low under my c sections care as well, so to go to my gp to check. So off I trot, can never get into mine so seen a different guy. He gave me a big lecture that gp's do not do antenatal care as the insurance is expensive ra ra ra. I said to him I just need you to check if I have a uti, he did and then proceeded to tell me that if my water's have broken I need to get checked properly by the hospital or my baby could die. Nice. I was so upset, rang the ob and got the receptionist. She said to ring the hospital or go in there as I needed to be see. So I went last night. My waters have not broken thankfully, but I have some discharge and they have taken a swab as they think I have an infection. She thinks the fluid loss could have been from that but can't be sure, but the main think is that my membranes are in tact. I think that the dr has cut or pinched me with the thing they use (speculum?) as ouch, I am sore today. The baby feels like it is so low, I am constantly peeing and it hurts every time! So I am a bit sore and sorry for myself. Looking forward to my scan tomorrow afternoon to see what he/she is doing and see just how its positioned. Be back to post proplerly later, just wanted to fill you guys in! xx
hi everyone
Kaz - hope everything is ok, take care of yourself! Must of been a scare for you!
Amelia - congrats again!
Trish - I'm with Saffi, I'd ban her too!
Julia - make sure you give your pooch a big special hug! I bet your excited about seeing him!
Amber - Happy Birthday to Myles for tomorrow! Hope the party celebrations aren't too tiring for you and your bump!
AFM - Had my 1st ob appt yesterday, and got to see little bubba on the screen which was so cool. My date has been put back to the 25th April. Everything else went well, booked in my for my 12 week scan on the 15th October, so looking forward to that!
Anyway, sorry to anyone I missed, I'm off to bed!
Nighty Night!
