Rhys is cutting his molars too....he has had a temp of 38.5ish for the past couple of days and off his food with runny poos!! Has woken up the past 2 nights about 2-3am, just give him some panadol and a little bottle cause I hate giving him panadol on a empty stomach and he is all good and then sleeps in till 8am so he is being nice to me and giving me a sleep in!! Lol. Glad he is going through it now and not when bubba h arrives.!!

We spent all day Sunday fixing up Maddi's room, we moved the cot out & made it into a big girl room. We also gave her, her dora bed set early so she could with Dora every night lol
So far it's going well, it will be nice once she starts sleeping through again tho.
Off to get M's 2yr old & K's 6 month check-up today.
Hope everyone is well.

Hi girls, it sounds like a lot of you are getting less sleep at the moment due to molars, not good! I am pretty sure Tay has cut hers. I had a look about a month ago and she has all of her teeth. Well the same amount as Mia, so I guess that is right. Which is good for me, cause that means no more teething .. until the next one anyway!
We have moved Tay in with Mia again to trial her in a big girls bed. It was at the stage that every night Tay was in bed with us, so something had to give. The first night she was great and slept through. Last night she wandered into our room at about 3, to join Mia who was already there. We really need to do some tough love with the girls and get them out of our bed! I am over having a stiff neck from having to sleep in awkward positions because the kids take over our bed.
Other than that not much going on. I am feeling crap today. Still have an ear infection as the antibiotics have done nothing. Had playgroup this morning which was great, but then come home and my great kids allowed me to have a nice nap with them this afternoon. Yay.
Anyway I hope that the teething improves. Chat later xx

The girls check-up went well Maddi is 87cm tall & weighs 12.8kg & Kodi is 65cms & weighs 6.7kg.
Both girls are doing really well :)
Kaz hope your feeling better soon.
I can't believe my big baby will be 2 next week! Time goes so fast when you have kids.

Hi all! Thought I'd quickly pop in while mum has taken the boys to the shops and Alana is sleeping. I've missed chatting with you all!
We are going great, Alana is sleeping well overnight (last night she went 6 hours between feeds :confetti:), some day sleeps are a battle though, but I guess you can't have it all LOL! She's starting to smile and making cute chatty sounds which are just adorable :D.
K is doing a great job being a big brother, he is very gentle with Alana and constantly strokes her and says "Hello" in his cute little voice. He calls her "Lana" and when she's napping he asks "Where's bubby?". Joel is absolutely besotted with her too.
I'm going well, I've been back in my pre-pregnancy clothes for a couple of weeks which is so great! It took me ages to fit back into them after having the boys. This time the weight fell of straight away. Life has been soooo busy with a newborn and two others to care for. I have to fit in Joel's kinder drop-offs and pick ups around feeds, cleaning, cooking, etc. so there isn't much time left to come here and chat! I always log on when I'm feeding Alana though so I'm still around, just not able to post that much.
Mo - The girls are going great, well done to you Mummy!
Kaz - You poor thing , I hope you are feeling better soon. I saw on your FB status that the girls slept in their own beds all night last night - WOOHOOO!!! That's awesome, I hope you had a good sleep!
Amelia - Not long until you meet your bub!!! I'm so excited to find out if bub is a he or a she!!
Saffi - Poor L with those teeth coming through, and poor you . I hope his sleep has improved since your last post.
Willow - How'd you go with the u/s yesterday? I do remember the saga last time and L was fine, I'm sure D is too :). How's L now? I hope he didn't get sick again.
Kellie - I remember that "blah" feeling so well . It will be over soon, I promise!
Julia - How are you going lovely lady? How's the gorgeous Max? I hope you are enjoying your visit from your mum. I just noticed your ticker, have you tested???
Tiff - Hopefully no M/S equals a blue bundle for you! Are you going to find out at 20 weeks?
Amber - How are you guys going? You've been a bit quiet in here!
A big Hi to anyone I've missed :hello:. I hope everyone is going well and I'm thinking of you all .

Just popping in quickly, we've all had gastro but on the mend now. L got it first, then DD, then me. I've copped it the worst, the kids only had it for 12-24 hours, this is day 2 for me :( Hoping DH and DS2 manage to avoid it. Has been soooooo hard the last few days being so sick and not being able to look after the kids, especially D.
DH had to take the day off yesterday to take D for his u/sounds - good news, everything looks fine with both his head and hip but we'll wait and see what the paed says next week.
Trish - things are crazy here too. Great o'night sleeps at your place! Is she in your room or in her own room? DS2 often does 4.5-5, hoping he keeps it up. Day sleeps are hit and miss here too, some great, some shockers. Find it really hard to stretch him longer than 2-2.5 hours between feeds in the morning and afternoon (which I know is pretty normal at his age), so those sleeps are only about 1.5 hours. I always try to resettle him but it often doesn't work. Not going to stress until about the 12 week mark and then really work on getting a routine happening. He has settled right down again which I'm so relieved about, that week and a bit after he got home from hossy was sooo hard.

Willow - You poor things . Why is it us mums always cop it worse than anyone else? Alana is in her own room, but sometimes ends up in our bed (this morning she came in at 5:30am) if I'm trying to stretch her until our 7am wake up time! Not sure if that's such a good thing long term, but I need my sleep!! She doesn't always do 6 hours, but I usually get at least a 5 hour stint out of her. I started doing a 9:30pm dream feed for two nights in a row, but she stopped sleeping for as long (I have NO idea why) so I cut it out again and just let her wake up when she's ready.
Amber - How exciting that Myles is nearly 2!!! I can't believe how fast time flies :D
-
Trish - was contemplating a dream feed too actually but had no success with DD or DS1 so probably won't bother...maybe when he's a bit older.
-
OK people...check it out!!!! :)
