Amelia - yay for getting the nursery all set up. I didn't realise you only have about 8 weeks to go. Not that long really.
Amber - not that long to go for you either. Have a good trip away in Melbourne. Make sure you do heaps of shopping.
Mo - poor M. She really seems to pick up everything that is going around. Not looking forward to both my kiddies being sick at the same time.
Celtic - that's good news what the Dr said for when you are ready to TTC again.
Things ok here. DH and I went shopping yesterday afternoon. Tho seemed to spend a lot of time in the parents room it was good to be out and about. Some ways it is easier with a newborn than an active/grumpy toddler. Bumped into MissKate and her Lochie. He such a cutie!

LOL Saffi - No, not a clue :nahnah:. She is Miss B only because of our surname, the only hint I'll give is that her name doesn't begin with "B"! Bianca was the name of a customer that came over. Glad you got to go out yesterday, it feels good not being housebound after a bub :)
Kaz - How exciting that your sister is having her bub tomorrow! Sorry to hear about the family dramas though. Hooray for getting a cat! I love cats :)
Mo - How's Maddi today? I hope she hasn't come down with croup.
Amber - I can't wait to hopefully meet you too! It is so frustrating not knowing for sure if I'll be there or not! If it's physically possible, I will be there though ;)
Nothing exciting to report here. We haven't got the capsule in the car for Miss B yet because DH is getting a new car tomorrow, I feel so unfinished not having a car seat in place! Hopefully the new car will fit the three car seats in the back LOL! It's a Kluger so it should fit, especially as three car seats fit in my Yaris :lol:. I love DH's job, it's so fun getting new cars all the time. We have always driven old cars and if he ever loses his job we will own old cars again, so I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts!

Saffi - I know what you mean about newborns being easier! I would definately agree... Wait until your 2 are my 2's age! All they do is fight! LOL

Maddi is fine except for when she's coughing, off to the Dr's soon as she coughs all night, then starts crying as her chest or throat hurts.
Took Kodi to be weigh today, she is 62cms & 6.3kg, her heading is starting to grow as-well yay.
I will bbl for personals :)

Congrats Kellie, that is great news! I am now nearly 15 weeks and it still has not sunk in. I am hoping to start feeling it soon, then I will know something is in there.
You reminded me, I need to change my ticker to Feb 14th since my edd has been changed. This is feeling like the worlds slowest pregnancy, not helped by the change in my due date I am sure!
All ok this end, I am thinking a day at home is in order today. I have had the girls out every day this week, and Mia for some reason seems tired and miserable. Crying about everything. SO I thought a quiet day at home might be just what she needs. Plus we are going away again at the weekend, I am sure that 6 hours in the car takes it out of them.
Anyhoo, best be off. Things to do and all that.

Remember me? Sorry it has been months. I have been super busy what with moving house, being pregnant with a toddler, work etc.
Anyway I have been reading your posts. Sorry to hear that so many of you have been sick. Feel better.
AFM I had a little girl on the 29th of July. Her name is Daniella Rose and she is so cute. Not that I am biased. We had a rough start with a stay in the children's hospital but she is doing better now. Ethan loves having a bubba in the house. It's funny he seems to love her toys more than his own.
Anyway better go I think Ella is finally asleep and I have a toddler to get ready for swimming.

Alz - congratulations on the arrival of little Daniella. Your pregnancy sounds a lot like mine, house move, work etc. I also had a little girl.
AFM - went to Mothers Group today with both kids. It went really well as there was always a set of arms happy to nurse Immi and L was happy to play by himself or watch ABC Kids. It did take 3 nappy changes and a few sick-ups and both kids in their carseats crying their eyes out before we got out of the house but we got there in the end :rolleyes

Saffi-it's so much more effort having to go out with 2 kids isn't it, if we have to go out some early in the morning i make sure i have all the kids clothes ready & the nappy bag packed the night before otherwise i'm so rushed in the morning that i forget most of the stuff lol.

Hey all! Looking forward to tomorrow so I can catch up with some of you ladies! Hopefully it will keep my mind off my EDD arriving LOL! I've been getting heaps of strong BH's since yesterday, so I'm hoping that means things aren't too far off :). I had a midwife appointment last night and bub had moved out of the posterior position she was in last week, so that was good news. She moves around all the time though, so who knows where she'll end up?!
DH got his new car yesterday and it is soooo nice! I'm looking forward to stealing it off him tomorrow to drive to the meet up LOL!
Mo - Definitely more effort to go out with two kids, don't ask me how it's gonna be with three :o. I am having nightmares wondering how Joel's kinder drop offs are going to work out :lol:.
Saffi - I'm glad you're officially out and about with your two! How is little Immi going? How are you feeling?
alz - Welcome back and congrats on the arrival of Daniella!

Hmmm...I seem to be having light contractions every 8 minutes. I wonder if I'll be at the meet up tomorrow LOL! If you don't hear from me or see me I may be in hospital, otherwise you will see me and I'll be frustrated that nothing happened :rofl:

Morning! Nothing has changed, I'm still here! I've had a good night's sleep and this morning the contractions have spaced out a lot. If not much is happening in a couple of hours I might still come to the meet up!

Hi ladies,
well just a quick post as I want to go to bed but I'm waiting to see is Daniella will settle to sleep first. Just had a feed and the biggest projectile vomit I have ever seen so I think it will take some time for her to go to sleep.
Trish - hope all is well under way and you can enjoy your little bundle soon! I know the frustration of contractions and then them stop. Won't fill you in on my horror story till your bub is out.
Question for today - is anyone else's toddler trying to drop their day sleep already? Ethan is being a shocker at the moment. He still needs a sleep as he gets very crabby if he doesn't have one. We put him down after lunch as always but most days he just plays in his cot. Today he looked so tired from the minute he woke up this morning but didn't go to sleep until about 3. We had to wake him at 5 otherwise he would be up too late at night. It is so frustrating. I really want him to keep having a sleep as I need a sleep just to keep up with the 2 kids without my hubby wanting to send me to the funny farm. I shudder to think what Ethan will get up to when we move him to a bed when the weather warms up.
Ok, Ella not asleep yet but I am too tired to wait and see. I can always poke hubby and he can settle her.

Alz - Forgot to say congrats to you on Baby Daniella :) As for day sleeps, Max is still wanting his at around 12pm to 1pm (sometimes later). Twice this week he didn't sleep for very long (under 2 hours) and 1 day he slept over 3 hours! We are living in Singapore now and things start later here. He still wakes up at 7am, but goes to bed more like 9pm! The regular 2 hour nap in the day is still a necessity for him, but with them getting shorter, I'm wondering if it's starting to disappear...I sure hope not!

Alz, Maddi is trying to drop her day sleeps & sometimes will only sleep 20 mins for the whole day.
Julia the meet-up was good, Amber is lovely & Myles is just so bubbly, gorgeous & confident.
He even gave me & Maddi a huge hug which was so cute.

Thanks everyone! I am having a lovely relaxing morning :). DH did all the housework, what a great pressie! We're going out a bit later for a coffee and having dinner tonight at my sister's house.
It was so great catching up with everyone yesterday! It was so awesome to meet Amber in person! What a gorgeous chick, inside and out!
I went to bed really early last night because I was so tired. Luckily I did because I woke up with an upset tummy at 10pm, then got 8 minute apart contractions at 10:30pm (which probably explains the dodgy tummy) and didn't fall asleep again until midnight because I was so uncomfortable. No contractions today which I guess is a good thing on my birthday!

ive had a hectic week of getting Nixon to paed, speech assesment, CHN etc, all of them think he may have a form of autism..... his speech is behind and we start speech therapy this Thursday so hopefully this will help, it might be a while off getting him seen at the diagnostic clinic.

hey ladies, just got a text from Trish, little Miss B has arrived! Alana Jade was born at 2am this morning, weighing 4.2 kgs, 30 mins after arriving at hospital! How exciting! Congrats again Trish and family!
Not sure if she had someone planned to do her BA or not, but I thought I'd post her for you ladies

Alz - L still has a daytime sleep of between 2 - 3 hours. I would be lost without them. I think it helps that they have a sleep at daycare so we just follow their example.

Amber - you'llbe coming home to stinking hot weather! Wish I could have been there with you all.
Anyway, all's good here. Immi is doing really well and putting on weight. L is still adjusting to his new sister, home, daycare etc. Such a lot of change for a little one to go through.

It took Maddi a few months to really adjust to having a sister, but now she adores Kodi, First thing she says every morning is "where's Kodi" then she gives Kodi a huge kiss. It's so cute.
Then there are the times where she makes me want to pull my hair out lol
Poor Maddi still has a cough 1 week on cough syrup & it's still no better so back to the Dr's today.
Hopefully this will be the last time for awhile!

:hello: everyone else!!! So great to see you all. Nothing really happening here. Tiera is just talking heaps and is soooooo funny! Loving (almost) every minute of toddlerhood.. Not enjoy her lovely little tanties though!!! :lol: As for us, we are still TTC... AF due today (well yesterday according to FF) Got a bfn on Saturday, but I really think I should have waited to test. Anyways, only time will tell.
