Maddi has another ear infection so she's on a different lot of AB's now, Dr said the cough may last for a couple of weeks but her chest is clear so at least we got some good news.

gee whizz its quiet in here.... anyone going to the wiggles this year?? i bought 10 tickets for me and lachlan and a few friends... i cant wait!!!

Hi all! Thanks for all the congrats :D. We are settling in well, we are all totally in love with Alana, she's so gorgeous! Such a placid little girl (I should add: "so far" LOL!). She is feeding like a champion, we had skin-to-skin as soon as she was born and she latched on straight away and has fed brilliantly ever since. I feel so lucky :).

The boys adore her, K was a bit unsettled for a couple of days due to all the changes and all the visitors, but he is getting better. Joel wants to hold her ALL the time and tells her she's "gorgeous", it's very sweet. He stood in front of his kinder class on Tuesday and told everyone about her, awww!

My mum has taken the boys to the park this morning and Alana is having a nap, so I thought I'd quickly jump on and post while my hands are free! I hope you're all doing well!

Well not much happening here, saw the ob today all is good! :) Went to P!nk last night again awesome show! Except it took me nearly 2 hours to get home yuck!
M has started copying words now which is great and soo funny! My brohter taught him to say "get up" To the horse and greyhound races :rollseyes: Soo funny but so wrong :)

i cant beleive we are approaching their 2nd birthdays..... we are taking the kids to the zig zag railway which is only on once a month and happens to be a week before ty's birthday, its a life size Thomas the Tank train!! the kids will LOVE it no doubt

Nickers How did N go with his assessment? Know what you mean about their birthdays...I can't believe how quick time has gone...Seems Max was only just having his 1st birthday! We are going home to Perth for his birthday and going to Kings park. I have sent out an open invitation to as many people as I had email addresses for! Should be a good one provided the weather is good.
Kate I wish the wiggles would come to Singapore. Max just wants to watch BIg Red Car constantly...doesn't rate the others apparently!

Maddi is finally getting better, Only took 3 different AB's to get rid of her 2 ear infections & a nasty cough. M's eating is starting to improve as-well, i'm so happy about that.
Kodi is doing well, she rolls everywhere now & is trying to sit up. She's really getting some personality now always laughing or smiling it's sooo cute.

Tiff congratulations, i'm so happy for you. Wishing a happy & healthy 9 months.

Trish i'm so glad everything is going well with Alana, I look forward to meeting her one-day :)

Tiff - congratulations on your pregnancy. That is so exciting. Best wishes for a healthy and happy pregnancy.
Amber - I am sure Myles will be fine when bubs arrives. There is not much preparation I could do with L except talk about my tummy in terms of "there's a baby in there", "where's the baby" etc. L seems to be okay with Immi.
Mo - good to hear that M is finally getting better. It must be so frustrating for you with her constantly being sick. Yes, I know I need to update the ticker LOL.
Julia - I bet you are excited to be coming home for a while. How long will you be home for?

AFU - weighed Immi yesterday and she put on almost 300gr last week. Very happy about that as I was worried about how BF was going.

What is everyone thinking of doing for the 2nd birthdays? I have been thinking it might be easier to go to a Playcentre and have them cater for the party. L has a large circle of friends now that should be invited so it will be easier to have them contained in an enclosed area rather than running wild at home. I do like the idea about the railway tho as L loves Thomas too.

Anyway, best go and hang out some clothes. Now there is 4 of us there is so much more washing to be done.

AFU We met Terris grogeous baby yesterday! wow she has a full head of hair! Terri looks fabulous! Myles and Mateo just love being together and Mateo is so smart! Myles had cuddles wiht Mia and loved it till he pushed her away lol!

As for her birthday, I think we are going to have a playcentre party too. Much easier than entertaining 15+ kiddies at my house! I can't believe how close their birthdays are, and before we know it, it will be Christmas!

AFM.....Nothing new going on here.....Just trying to get through the heat that has all of a sudden come out of no where here in Brissie!! SUcks being pregnant in the heat I can tell you that.

I definitely have to go for a c/s and will find out bubba h's arrival day on the 10th of Sept. They are talking about 37 weeks but will decided then. I have everything ready, capsule gets installed on the 8th, just gotta buy one of those head support thingy's for it and I am done!!

We are still trying to find a cot linen set that we like but we just can't decide on anything.....I am in LOVE with anything LIME/PASTEL green at the moment!! But DH thinks that the linen should be more gender specific!! Lol.....So trying to find one that has the green in it that I like with it still being gender specific is proving to be dificult!! Lol.

Well that is all from me....I am trying to make something up in word as a invite for Rhys' birthday but I am cracking the *****s with it at the same time!! Lol. We are just having something small here at home for him.

hope you are all doing well.

I was thinking today how fast time is flying. I can't believe that Ethan is nearly 2. Where did those 2 years go. Looking at Daniella who is now 4 and a half weeks, it only seems like a couple of months ago that Ethan was that small. It kind of makes me sad.

Ethan is being such a good big brother. I am proud of him. He loves Daniella so much and is always trying to cuddle and kiss her.

Well I am feeling exhausted. Ella is a terrible day sleeper. I know I shouldn't complain as she is sleeping quite well at night but during the day she will only settle for about 10 minutes and then needs resettling. It is so draining. Poor old Ethan isn't getting the attention he deserves because I am so busy will Daniella. I don't remember him being so difficult during the day. Anyway enough whinging. I'm off to bed. Night all.

Hey all, just wanted to pop in quickly while I have a chance and say hi and congrats to all the new preggy bellies - sooo exciting!! All these new babies.

Glad to hear all the new bubs/mums are settling in well.

We've had another set back, have been in hospital with Dean since Thurs, he picked up an infection and needed to go back in for IV antibiotics for 48 hours. We got home yesterday and he is doing better but the oral AB's are upsetting his little tummy badly and he has a lot of wind and diarrhea :( He is very unsettled at times but thankfully slept for most of the night. DH had to go away yesterday so mum came and stayed with me last night thank goodness.

L was starting to settle down but then mummy went away again and we're kinda back to square one :wall:

Have a follow up with the paed tomorrow so will let you know how we go.

Wow - i have been sooo slack again!!! I cannot believe how quickly time is going and i am missing all the BA's and PA's!!
Not a lot happening here - still working from home full time with Caitlyn at daycare full time. I had her home for a week cause she and i were sick and it was SOOOOO nice -wish we could afford for me to do THAT full time!! AM trying to find ways to meet people down here and so far am no being very successfull...its hard still with DH's unpredictable hours!!
Nopthing really else to report - Caitlyn cut all four eye teeth at once - grumpy for about 3 days and tada there they were!! And i did read that someone has to watch what they say - we are pretty bad at it....DH was having a vent about work the other day and about 5 mins later Caitlyn drops the F bomb!!! OMG!!! I couldnt help but burst out laughing and DH went cranky at me....hmm....who did she learn it from??? ANyway - thats the last we heard of it - thank goodness.
anyway - am finished my break now...and had better get back to doing some work - havea great day ladeis!!!

Rebecca - L is saying a word that sounds very much like the F bomb! We don't know if he has picked it up from somewhere (not home) or if he is just making noises that sounds like it. There is no specific context to it. We are just ignoring it at the moment.
Willow - sorry to hear Dean is unwell. Hopefully the paed will give him the all clear.
Amelia - Amber has mentioned a get-together too. I'm available most days. I would like to meet the new arrivals so perhaps once your's and Amber's babies have arrived??? Maybe Rebecca could come down from Toowoomba???

Just wanted to let you all know that we had our appt with the paed today and all went well. He will be on ABs till Weds/Thurs and then should be fine.

He is much more settled now that we're back at home which is a blessing too!

Saffi - Great to hear Immi is putting on weight! After you posting about 2nd birthday's it sounds like it has everyone thinking about it. I am in the process of organising my dh's 30th this weekend, so once that is done we will get Tay's 2nd birthday organised. We are having a sausage sizzle at rocket park, and we are getting a face painter (if she is available!) So we know what we are doing, just need to really organise the invites.

Mo - I am glad that everyone in your household is on the up with health. Be great to have you back at playgroup tomorrow!

Bec - We have not had any swear words yet from Tay, that I have heard anyway. Although both my kids do say bugger (My fault) if you consider that as one!

Alz - I hope that Ella improves in her day sleeps, don't worry about complaining about it, we all know what it is like. Days are our time to get things done, and when you have an unsettled baby, that just does not happen. Hopefully it is just a stage and she improves for you soon!

We have had a sick baby last night, temp at 39 and it has been hard to break, even with panadol and nurofen together. She is still warm this morning, but she ate a bit of breakky and seems happier, so that is a positive. I am hoping she picks up soon, as it is my dh's 30th this weekend, and we have so much on, including a party! I might take her to the doctor's if she is still no better by this afternoon.

All is good with me, I am finally over all my belly pains and sickness (apart from my stubborn cough). One crappy thing is that I have started getting morning sickness back, why I have no idea. Lot's of things set me off inlcuding eggs which I loved, and Tay's poohs! :lol:

I have an ob appointment today, I am hoping to see the baby. After my two stints in hospital, it would be nice to see all is ok. Especially when I feel movements but then nothing for days!

Better go, I really need to get stuck into my housework! Saturday will be hear before we know it!

Hey all! Just wanted to pop in to say hello, sorry I am not around much atm, but it's a bit busy around here LOL! I've been reading everyone's posts while BF'ing, but just not finding the time to post.

We're going well, been teaching Alana to settle in her cot which can be exhausting, but it seems to be paying off today. We have been co-sleeping at night, but I would prefer not to. She settles well snugged up to me at night and I need my sleep! Hopefully we can get her in her own bed at night too. She has fallen into a great rhythm of 3 hourly feeds during the day and a longer stretch at night. Last night she went 5 1/2 hours between feeds which was nice! Fingers crossed she keeps it up :)

Sorry for no personals, I'm just jumping on quickly while I can and wanted to let you know I'm thinking of you all!

Just a boo hoo from me.....I have got Gastro!!! God it takes it out of you while pregnant I am telling you!! Sucks ass it does!!

Amelia i ended up in hospital at 35wks because of a nasty bout of gastro, Hope your feeling better soon.

Seems like i spoke to soon Maddi is STILL sick, took her the Dr today because her temp was 39.3.
Dr said her ears & throat are fine, There's no rash or abdominal pain. So she has to do a urine sample now to rule out a UTI. We are going on to our 3rd week of her being sick now.
She is so over it my poor baby, at least she is still happy most of the time :)

Yeah even water and gastrolyte is coming back up so I think it might be a trip to the hospital if I can't keep this glass down!!

Back to the Dr's again today. Maddi's temp keeps hitting 40ish now.
Still no luck getting a urine sample from her, i swear it's like mission impossible.

Amelia that's exactly what happened to me & i'm so glad i ended up going to the hospital because poor Kodi was so stressed out.
Hope your feeling better today :)

Well I am keeping down fluids....Ribena has been agreeing with me more then plain water or gastrolyte. I feel abit better today....DH stayed home to look after Rhys so I could get some energy back...Rhys hates me being sick and is all clingy.

Well I off to have another nap while Rhys is still down having his.

Kellie - In the last couple of days I have started to feel pg again... Been feeling as though I am going to be sick and I'm ready for bed bby lunch!! I've been falling alseep on the lounge at night through my fave shows (which is not like me at all!) Hope you not too sick, if at all!!

Trish - Alana sounds like she is settling in very well at home, great to hear! I found T wouldn't sleep in her cot during the day, but never had a prob at night! :lol: just the opposite to you. I hope you're not too tired. You must really have your hands full these days with three little kidlings. The more children the more smiles and laughter, I can't wait to add to our family! :) I read you birth story btw and it was amazing!!! You are a very strong person and did so well! You must feel empowered by what you did.

Well not a lot going on here. Tiera is gorgeous!!! I love her to bits and lately she has been getting over all my cuddles and kisses when she does something cute (please remember I'm hormonal!!! :lol: ). She tenties are getting better and better!!! :) Definately pay back for me as I was a horrible tantrum througher as a toddler for my poor mum! I must say she's a pretty good sharer still and gets a long with other children quite well. Lately she has had a few kids hit and push her or take things off her and she seems to just take it in her stride, but I do worry they're going to tesch her to do it... Only time will tell I guess.

Spent the arvo at the hospital & it looks like Maddi has a UTI.
If she doesn't respond to this round of AB's then she will most likely have to go in for IV AB's.
So here is hoping she responds to this lot!

Mo - :hug: to Maddi! I hope she has responded well to the meds. Poor thing!!! Hope she's on the mend and you're getting some rest!

Turns out Maddi doesn't have a UTI, but they are sure she has infection some where.
So she has to stay on the AB's till Monday & if she gets a temp again then it's back to the Dr's.

Geez Mo....You sure get it tough sometimes! I hope they find out where the culprit infection is in Maddi! Take it easy...and forget Fathers Day...Mother's Day is where it's At!!!!

Mo - Poor Maddi, how has her temprement(sp?) been with it all tho?? I hate it when they are sick and make it real hard for you to comfort them.

Julia - Is it father's day over there too today or you just keeping with the Aussie holidays??

AFU - Not much going on here.......I have recovered really well, by thursday I was all good and cause Rhys has day care Thursday and Fridays made it abit more easier for me to recover and regain my energy. I can still feel that I am still abit dehydrated but I suppose that is bubs sucking everything from me.

I find out this Thursday our c/s date. Kinda scary knowing that bubs could be here in 2 weeks or so. My Dr thinks that they might let me go to 41 weeks or so cause bubs is more the average size compared to what Rhys was....Rhys was 9lb 8oz for those who can't remember!! Lol. Rhys only lasted in 000 for 3 weeks then into 00's!! Was never in 0000's at all!! Lol. Went out and bought some 0000 and 000 suits the other month cause I had nothing that small or unisex either!! Lol.

Well I am off.....gotta start dinner....DH requested French Onion Steak (french onion soup powder sprinkled over steak and wrapped in foil then baked in the oven!! SIMPLE!!) with chips and salad so its a easy one for me tonight as well.

Amelia Maddi's temp is fine when she is on the AB's it's when she comes off them her temp goes up.
She has her final dose of AB tonight, I'm really hoping it has cleared up her infection.

I know you have probably already told us, but why are you having another c/s?
So exciting your little one will be here so soon.

Julia this year has been a rough one, I'm actually looking forward to next year because it has to be better.
