Just a short quick one from me.....I am nesting like hell, though I think it is more nervous and anxiety setting in today when DH said to me this morning that we are down to single digits!!
Nothing new to report here, just some major cleaning going on!! We only moved into this house in May and I have gone through and cleaned all the walls ( it was a brand new house) inside all the cupboard and have bought all the storage boxes for cupboards and vaccum bags to tidy everything up!! Lol....DH thinks it all looks good, so I am happy someone appreciates it and not just me!! Lol.
Hope all you prengnant ladies are looking after yourselves. And all that have new little bundles - hope you are getting some rest!!
Well thats it from me.....Just put Rhys down for his nap so I have till about 5 to have some 'me' time.
P.S.: CONGRATS to Mo and Miss K on reaching 6 months on BFing!! You go girl!!
And here I was thinking I had better go on BB to check out what the goss and I find out we have another one of us pregnant. Congrats Julia ... what great news! So exciting!
All ok here, been to Monash today and got a really hot doctor. All is ok, blood pressure is a little up but not much to worry about at this stage. Hear the babies heartbeat which was really reassuring. I am feeling great just extremely tired after a huge weekend.
I won't stay and do personals, but I do hope everyone is well and I am keeping up with what is going on. It is just the replying to everyone I am not keeping up with. Sorry!
Amelia - single days! Wow! Good luck if I'm not on here before then!
Kaz - great to hear you had a good appt
AFM - been feeling a bit better the last few days, so hopefully the sickness is coming to an end. Been so tired though, had a nap today while Tahlia was asleep which was nice
Kellie glad your starting to feel better, Where are you having Buuba?
Kaz glad your appt went well. Dunno if i asked already but why did you end up changing hospitals?
Thanks Amelia i'm so happy that we made it to 6 months
I can't believe how close you are to meeting your little bundle.
Well Maddi is 2 on Friday, doesn't even feel like it's been 1 yr let alone 2.
My baby girl is 6 months today & we are going through that super clingy stage. I can't even walk out of a room without her cracking up.
I hope all the mums, bubs & little bundles are doing well
Mo well done on bf for 6motnhs! Wow that has gone sooo quick! And Maddi is 2 on friday oh my!
Hey Nick hows things? Hope the boys enjoy the railway! And woohoo for TTC next year!
Kellie how are you feeling love?
Amelai omg cant believe you will ahve your little new bubba soon how excitng! Thanks for the pm but dont think we will have time xx
Hi to evryone else hope your all keeping well.
Well everything is ok here! Wasnt very well saturday and sunday but am seeing the ob wednesday so will have a chat then! M is a rat bag and will be 2 next week argh!!!!!!!!!!!! Its soooo hot up here atm which really sucks i hate the heat Anyway better go xxxx
Mo - Monash was our first choice and after having a chat to my ob about it we decided to go there. Because I am high risk (2 c sections, pre-eclampsia and POCSD) it is best to go there, as apparently they are one of the best hospitals. I am happy with the decision and so far my appointments there have been good. But now I don't have to go back there until 28 weeks for my diabetes test, apparently I am higher risk with that now as well since I got diagnosed with POCSD in April.
Amelia - I can't believe you only have 8 sleeps to go, you are getting so excited now I bet!
I know 8 sleeps everyone!! This time next week I will be frantically making sure that the house is clean and all the washing is done and folded and put away and putting the last few bits a pieces into my bag!! Bub's bag has been packed for weeks and sitting on the change table. I have unpacked and re-packed it about 3 times now!! Lol. DH goes on holidays starting next Wednesday and wont go back till 2 weeks the following monday so I have him home for just about 3 weeks. We wanted a month but because his boss' wife is UTD too and her due date is the 22nd of Oct, she is getting induced that day which is the Thursday after DH gets back!!
Now I am just rambling......Off to do some MCN research!!
Amelia - Sorry Amelia that was meant to be PCOS ... polycystic ovary syndrome ... not sure what drugs I was on today. I swear I have been so out of it and sleepy today and have done some really odd things. I have never felt so tired, dozed on and off all day. Not sure how I got away with the kids being so well behaved whilst I dozed!
Mo - wow - where has the last 2 years gone??? Amelia - in case I don't post before you deliver, all the best and I'm waiting eagerly to hear bubba H's flavour (I think it will be another blue...). My DH was home for a month (the first week I was in hospital so he and Mum took care of L). I found I didn't need him around to help as much as last time. He mainly looked after L which was great. Kate - you're the smart one leaving #2 for a while LOL. Things are very busy around here at the moment. Kaz - get that sleep in while you can. Amber - are you feeling better? Not good weather to be heavily pregnant. Take it easy as much as you can. Kellie - I was born at Frances Perry. Its a new building now isn't it? Do they still do the early discharge to the Sofitel? Nic - L would have loved going to the railway centre. We have one up here too. I am not sure if he is old enough yet to really enjoy it. Are you taking the boys to the Thomas and Friends show? Julia - how are you pregnant one?
Hi to everyone else.
AFU - Went to a feeding clinic yesterday as Immi and I have BF attachment issues. It was really useful as it showed me that she most likely doesn't have reflux and that the reason for her distress a lot of the time is that she is hungry or is overtired. Given that my supply is cr@p and she feeds and settles better with the formula we have decided to wean. Bit disappointed that we couldn't establish a good BF relationship but in the end it is causing both of us stress struggling to keep BF.
Immi has a bit of a cough at the moment. It was only a matter of time before she caught something (DS is at daycare so brings home heaps of germs...).
Anyway better go and try to do something while she is asleep.
Hi everyone! I'm going attempt to post while Alana's asleep and K is on my lap watching In the Night Garden .
All is still going well here, but I'm soooo tired today for some reason. Alana is sleeping pretty well overnight, last night she did a 7 hour stint which was pretty cool. Still having issues with her first nap of the day, but we're getting there. K is trucking along fine (he loves trucks LOL, he calls them "gucks"), saying more and more all the time. If anyone is going somewhere he'll say "I'll hum!" which is Kieranese for "I'll come!". Very cute. Joel is on holiday's from kinder atm so they are playing together heaps.
I hope everyone else is well. Sorry for no personals, Alana is waking up as I type this . How do they know?! Take care everyone!
Hey everyone, sorry I haven't been around much - again
Things going really well here - very pleased to say my littlest man has settled right down again after being sick and we're pretty confident now that he doesn't have reflux . We took him to our chiro and the naturopath there gave us a probiotic for him which seems to have really helped. He is generally happy and sleeping well most of the time (self settles for most sleeps too) (Trish - our crappiest sleep of the day is the last one! I always try to resettle him but usually things are so full on trying to get dinner etc organised that I get him up and he has a bath a feed and then heads to bed for the night at about 6.30pm. He slept for 7 hours the other night too My goodness didn't my boobs know it though! LOL. Worked out well cause I then expressed 250mls cause I'm going out for dinner on Saturday night and he's staying home with Daddy )
L is doing well. His cranky-ness and tantrums have settled a bit over the last few weeks so hopefully he's adjusting to his brother being around. He has a bit of a cough at the moment but nothing too serioius hopefully. He has gone back to sleeping well during the day too thank goodness! Some days lately I've had to go and wake him at 3.30pm!
Took all three kids out on my own today so we could get D's hand and feet sculpture done - it was nowhere near as horrible as I thought it would be! LOL They were all very well behaved. Have to do it again tomorrow cause D has his follow up appt with the paed re his u/sounds.
Better go, both boys due to wake any minute!
PS Julia - CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! Maxy will be an awesome big brother!!
I am around just been busy and no chance to post. But I am trying to keep up with you all, so ! I hope you all have a great (even though it is really wet) weekend in Melbourne! Not much going on here, but we have a million job to do this morning and want to be home to watch the footy ... go the saints!
Better go, none of us are even dressed yet! Will be back later to post more significantly! x
