Good morning! Hope everyone is well

How scary that's it's nearly Christmas!! It has come so quickly this year. The boys are very excited about it which is cute. Joel had his last day of kinder yesterday, they had a party and then the parents came towards the end and the kids sang songs for us, very cute! I feel so sad that it's the end of an era, but I guess I'll get to go through it again with the younger two. I bought Joel's school uniform and school bag the other day (Santa is going to leave it under the tree ) and it sent a shiver down my spine LOL.

We've all been watching our home videos that we've filmed since Joel was born, it's funny how you forget what they were like when they were smaller! Joel was such a cute little man, it is great to see him at the age of two so we can compare him to K. They were SO different! Looking at Joel as a bub, we can see a huge resemblance between him and Alana which I couldn't see with photos. It's more the facial expressions and actions. I'm so glad we recorded so much, it's fun to look back on. Anyway, I'm rambling LOL!

K has been sleeping well again the last couple of nights thank goodness, but he's still a bit grumpy at times, I hope those teeth pop through ASAP so we can get this teething business over and done with!!

Alana is going well, she went 8 hours between feeds last night, but I had to go in a few times in between to replace her dummy. I think we might give the dummy the flick soon, I want unbroken sleep!

Kaz - You poor thing not being able to sleep. I hope you get to have your bub a bit earlier. Have you picked a name yet? I can't wait to find out what it is!!

Amber - Wow @ Flynn's weight gain! What a brilliant job you are doing mummy! I always feel so proud when my bubs have gained good weight, it's amazing that our bodies can do that for them

Mo - Glad the appointment went well, make sure you keep us posted. Have a lovely time away!

Saffi - Immi is going great! I love the comment your Dr made, how sweet (and true ) . How's the new lounge?

Julia - Congrats again on your little girl!! Have you started buying pink stuff yet? It's so much fun! I hope you are feeling better you poor thing .

Willow - How's things over at your camp atm? I hope sleep is on the improve since those teeth have popped through!

Pish - Woohoo on reaching the halfway point!

    Hi to anyone I've missed!

We've just had our smart meter installed this morning for our solar panels, it will be interesting to see what our electricity bills will be like now!

    Have a great day everyone!!

    Hi everyone

Tiff - yay for being half way!
Kaz - great that the Dr will bring you forward. I remember that third tri insomnia, just a shame its because you are in pain. We think M is beautiful but it does make us proud when others comment.
Trish - should really watch the videos from when L was born onwards. I also need to get photos printed and put into albums. Oh well, one day.
Mo - yay for Kodi being such a good girl. How's she going? Let us know if you do get to Brisbane. I'd love to meet you IRL.
Amber - hope M's night sleeps improve.

Had MG here this morning. L was in fine form fluctuating from one extreme to the other. He's asleep now and the cleaning up has been done and M is dozing on the boob.

SIL had a baby boy this morning. We're going in on the weekend to see them.

The lounge is great. We got a King Furniture setting in a caramel coloured leather. Hoping that it will be easy to keep clean. DH is thrilled as he's been wanting a leather lounge for years. Even better is L has boxes to play in.

Saffi - How exciting! You're an aunty (again maybe?!) What did they name him? There are babies come out left right and centre and sooooooooooo many preg people atm too!

Well we're heading away for the weekend with the inlaws and wont be home until Mon afternoon sometime, so I wont be around for a few days, but I will jump back on to catch up on everyone the moment I get a chance.

Hey guys, just popping in quickly to say hello!

Trish - Sleep has been generally good, the early evening antics have stopped and he settles now without a fuss which is great. He was very unsettled last night but it was 40 here yesterday and still 29 in our bedroom at 4am. I couldn't sleep so guessing he couldn't either And he's also still cutting that second tooth through. Anyway, I can't complain too much, he is generally a very happy and settled baby and sleepless nights (or days for that matter) are rare.

So cute about J's uniform, I got V's about a month ago. Still have some more stuff to get, just a few more polo shirts etc. I also need to get her shoes, a new lunch box etc (how much is it going to suck not having her lunch stored in the fridge like at preschool?! ) and a new bag. She'll get some of that for her bday, just after xmas.

Saffi - Congrats on the new nephew! L's name was going to be Levi until the minute he was born and it somehow just wasnt right. We got a new leather lounge (chocolate brown) about 6 months ago - brilliant, you won't regret it. It is so easy to keep clean.

As for us - I took the big two into the city on the train today to see the Wiggles. OMG...one of the most enjoyable experiences I have ever had with my kids Our seats were amazing, front row about a metre from the stage. L had an absolute ball!!! He danced so hard he is buggered! We had an early start and he missed his nap so I know one groovy little boy who will be in bed very early tonight! For those on FB, I'm going to try to post a video of him dancing, so cute!

Better go, the boy is not coping, he's soooo tired.

Hey just a quickie all about me post girls ... as I am waiting for my DH to come back so we can watch the rest of Flashpoint (great show!). I have also been in hospital .. argh! After my night of no sleep, I developed some excrutiating pain around 2am. It went on and on and by 6.30 was unbearable. DH called his mum to stay home from work so he could take me to the hospital and she could watch the girls. We got to their house and the pain was so bad we had to call the ambulance. They come and loaded me up, gave me a green thing to suck on (gross) and off we went. Went straight up to maternity and it turns out I have a UTI which is making its way to my kidneys. Urine tests have not picked it up, but the swab the dr took on monday at my check up has. Which means its gone higher than just a UTI. Waiting for my results from my scan but Monash had their system go down and no results until tomorrow. GOt put on iv antibiotics, 2 x drip as I was dehydrated. After begging and pleading I was allowed to leave hospital and got home at about 7 that night. Long day. I am ok now, pain is pretty good and I am on oral anti's. If the infection has gone to my kidneys I have to go back to hospital for 2 days to have more iv anti's, but I would say since I have picked up so much all is ok. Will keep you all posted. So looking forward to this baby arriving, we thought it was happening Thursday for a min but luckily no!

Will be back later to reply to personals ... big hugs x

    Hi all!

Kaz - Big hugs . You poor thing, that must have been so scary! I'm glad they found the issue, I hope you are feeling heaps better really soon.

Nic - How are you guys going?

Amber - I just read on FB that you're all sick . I hope you all make a quick recovery in time for Christmas .

Mo - Hope you're doing OK today .

Willow - The Wiggles concert sounds like it was awesome! That's great that D has been sleeping better. Re: no fridge at school - Joel's kinder didn't have a fridge either. I bought Joel a new insulated lunch box/bag thingy and also bought a frozen gel pack to help keep his lunch cool. Hopefully it helps!

Tiff - Hope you had a nice time away over the weekend

Saffi - Leather couches are so great when you have kids! We have one in one of our living areas and it just wipes clean. Our other couches in our main living room are fabric and they get so dirty. We hired one of those carpet/upholstery cleaners from the supermarket last weekend to clean them. It was such hard work, luckily DH did it LOL!

I finally finished the last of the Christmas shopping yesterday, woohoo! They boys were out all day so I got to wrap everything too, it took an hour and a half so I'm glad they were out! I'm so looking forward to Christmas morning this year, it will be so much more fun now that K's older. I know he will love his wheelbarrow, he gets excited when DH uses his. DH is building Joel a basketball ring with a height adjustable pole so he can reach it.

Alana is going well, still a happy little thing. Her sleeping overnight has been a bit ordinary recently (she's almost 4 months old which is a typical sleep regression age - remember that anyone?! LOL), but I put her in her hammock overnight last night and she had a great night. Didn't even wake for a feed until 6:15am so I am very happy! I woke up at 6am automatically, I'm so used to getting up early these days!!

Is anyone going away over the Christmas holidays? We're staying down at Inverloch for 4 days over new years. DH's aunty who lives down there is going away and is letting us use her house. We stay down there every year, it's so lovely down there. Her house is absolutely beautiful and has ocean views, very nice

Anyway, hope you all have a great day!

    Hi ladies!!!
I'm back! Had a nice weekend away, it was great as we got back today and there are already people everywhere, in early for the Christmas break, so was good to relax before it all really starts!!! As of Saturday the park is completely booked solid plus we don't take bookings for our camping area and get about 600 people out there on top of all the people in the park, I do love the hussel and bussel of it all, but it is oh so tiring! I will be working on weekends, but T will have to follow me around as I really don't have anyone to look after her... Oh well she loves all the people!

Trish - It's a great feeling to have all of the Christmas shopping done!!! I must say I don't really remember T having a prob sleeping at night at all, but I really don't know how I am going to go with a newborn again! I LOVE my sleep and don't do well without it and as T was such a good sleeper, I am not expecting 2 great sleepers!!! hahahaha let the fun begin!! That sounds nice going away after Christmas, I hope you have a great time.

Kaz - You poor thing! I am glad you're feeling a bit better now. I hope you don't have to go back into hossy again. I have a UTI that spred up into my kidneys a few years ago and it was horrible, I really hope its all cleared up really soon.

Willow - I knew you'd love it, T had a ball at teh Wiggles last week and I got a ll teary seeing her so happy. We too were right up the front, couldn't have asked for better seats. Glad to hear you all enjoyed yourself so much!

Amber - T has recently got some more teeth without any trouble what so ever, I really didn't even notice. Its horrible when they suffer trough it. I think with #2 I'll have to invest in one of those Amber necklaces, so many people swear by them!

to anyone and everyone I've missed. I hope you have all hada great start to the week.

Kaz - that must have been really scary. So was that the reason for all the recent pain? Hopefully the ABs will do their job. You really don't want to be in hospital before bubs arrives.

Went to visit my nephew in hospital yesterday. He was born 100gr more than M and 800gr more than L and he looked so small. I can't remember either of my two being that small.

Finished my Xmas shopping today. Only have to wrap up the presents now and put them under the tree once L goes to bed on Thursday night. Is anyone wrapping presents for their toddlers? DH doesn't see the point of it with him being so young. I think that would be the best bit watching him tear through the paper.

L had his last day at his original daycare today. I expected to feel sadder than I was. He doesn't know that he won't be going back. I made sure he said good bye to his special friends tho I hope we will still stay in touch with them.

Nothing much else happening. Going to stick close to home for the next few days and get the house ready for Xmas Day.

Hope you are all surviving the silly season.

    Hi ladies,

Saffi - I have wrapped all of T's prezzies as she LOVES opening them!!! She gets really excited when she sees a present then has a ball tearing the paper to bits! It's funny when you see a new born and think, my baby wasn't that little!!! I can't wait to have another little on to cuddle, T is going to love it!

Another friend had a baby yesterday, thats 2 in 2 weeks! Bub is 4 weeks early, but is doing really well! He's a healthy (but small) 6lb 3oz, feeding well and by mum's side only days away from coming home to his big sister. I'm not going to see them in hossy but will definately see them when they get home. I can't wait for a cuddle!

Oooooo exciting news! T is now officially in undies!!!! I put a nappy on her to go to bed, but did a big wee before her sleep yesterday and woke 3.5 hrs later with a completely dry nappy, mummy was very impressed!

Well thats about it from us! Take care ladies.

    Hi beautiful friends

Can't believe it's Christmas tomorrow. I am so freaking excited this year....only because Maxy is! I wanna bottle his excitement and keep it for me for ever and ever!

Saffi I spent 2 hours wrapping Max's presents yesterday, as well as my own and can't wait for him to open them all tomorrow morning. They might be young, but I really do think they get it in some way. Every day I've been giving Max something in his advent calendar. Been telling him that father Christmas only comes when he is asleep and he gets so excited in the morning when he sees the chocolate wrapper (choc has to be left in the fridge!) with a note on it from FC saying what a good boy he'd been the day before and that he got this chocolate because.....blah blah! P.S Leather couches are the bomb...don't know how I ever lived with a fabric one (so gross!)!!!

Kaz I hope you feel better now. You've really had a hard time with this pregnancy. A bladder infection that spreads to your kidneys is really painful...that's what my friend had to go to hospital for when she was here visiting (spent the whole time there) and was on the IV drips etc. She was not in a good way, and she didn't have a baby growing in her to boot. You don't have long now till your little blue bundle is out and you can have your body back! I hope 2010 is a better one for you and your family on the illness front x

Trish WOW your big boy going to school. I can feel your pain/happiness all rolled into one! I'll be such a blubbering mess the day Max heads off to anything for a day without me! I find it hard to let him go now as it is! Can't wait to see him in a school uniform though! What a proud moment that will be! I love seeing the pics of Alana and the boys on FB.....they are all so gorgeous. I sure do remember the 4 month sleep regression....I thought I had an angel baby till that 4 months hit!!! Luckily I had all of you to go through it with!!

Pish How are you feeling? Wow two little bubbas for you to look at! I gawk at tiny babies when I see them here and just think...WOW I'm going to have another one come mid next year! If your friends little bubba was 6lb when born 4 weeks early I bet he would have been a big one full term! I was only 6lb 12oz born......shame I never stayed a small petiete person!! I can share your undies joy too! Max is going so well....he now tells me when he needs to do wee's AND poo's and can sleep his entire day sleep in undies with NO accidents. I don't know how it happened but I'm not knocking it!

I'll Be back to finish my post.....Max wants to go and see stimpy our friendly 'feral' cat!
