Maddi is in her big girl bed now as well, so far we are doing well with staying in there all night.
We have enrolled M into Daycare 1 day a week, She is so excited & can't wait to start. We have also enrolled her in 2 yr old dance class, She loves dancing so i figured she would enjoy doing that. She can't start till she is 2 & half but that's only 2 months away now.
Kodi is doing well, tho her sleeps are all over the place & we have stopped sleeping through. Hoping it's just a phase & it will pass very soon.
We have cut tooth 3 & 4 now, she looks 2 cute with her teeth.
Will bbl for personals

Hi there everyone!!!!!!!!!!!
Long time no see! I have popped in a couple of times but have been distracted before I get a chance to post anything.... It has been a while though... SO:
Mo - Awwww how cute! A dance class! And what a good girl in her big bed! How is your Mum doing these days? I read a little while back that she doesnt remember you anymore... Im so sorry about that, it must be devestating... Hope you are doing well.
Nickers - Ahhh the terrible 2's they suck dont they! Chels isnt really naughty, she just drives me nuts with the whingeing! LOL.. Good for you looking for work! I am thinking of going back to study too, I want to do a Community Services Course so that I can work with victims of domestic violence etc... But I think that might have to be put oin hold a couple years as we are thinking (just thinking) of trying for number 3 bubby soon... Good luck whatever you decide!
Willow - Awww school... Can you believe how fast that has come around! My son starts next year and Im sure Im going to bawl the whole first week... LOL.. I hope she goes really well and good luck getting into a new routine!
kazaraz - Ooooooooo how exciting ! This week someime! Im definately going to have to pop back in to see the announcement !How exciting! What a stuff around you have had by the hospital though! Grrr.... Good luck babe!
Saffi - How are you!!! Long time no speak! Hows things! How are your 2? Thats great that Lachlan is going so well in his bed! Chels fell out a few times too when we first put her in her bed.. hehe. Didnt bother her in the slightest either. LOL. How are you handling 2 kidlets? Are you going back to work at all?
Amber - How are ya! Your boys are such cuties! We have to catch up again soon! How is the house hunting going?
Trish - Awwww school for you too! Are you sad! I cant believe how fast these babies grow.. I have been dying to ask you too, how are you finding the transition from 2 kids to 3? Is it a lot of extra work? We are THINKING about tryinf for number 3 in a few months and so Im sussing out all my friends with 3... hehe. I hope everything is ok regarding K's legs...
Julia - Glad to hear Singapore is going well now! It must be such a big transition to move countries like that! How long do you guys plan on staying over there for? And yay! Congratulations on the baby girl! How exciting! I went beserk with my girl shopping once I knew... Hehehe..
Pish - How are you? Sounds like you have been busy! Where do you work? Hope you and your family are well... X
Kellie - How was Hi-5? I tell you my kids LOVE Hi 5 but I didnt know how they would be with the new ones... Are they as good as the old ones? Ooooo not too long for you to go now! Sorry if it has already been writte somehwere but have you decided on names?
Amelia - HI!!! How are things with you???
OK, Can I PLEASE have the award for longest post now... haha... Thought I owed it to you guys seeing as it has been too long... So sorry to anyone I have missedm my eyes are going fuzzy now.. LOL
AFU - My 2 are great! Chels has been FULLY toilet trained now for about 2 months. We rarely have an accident anymre. It took me 3 days and she was done! I was sooo impressed, especially seeing as Liam took about 3 months before he was done. LOL. Deifnately the saying is true, girls are easier than boys, or maybe its that she just wants to copy her brother (like eveerything else she does). She has been in abig bed for about 6 months now, and has had the side rail off for about a month but we have had no problems at all trasitioning her into her bed. She was an angel. She chats NON stop, pretty much in full sentences these days, most of which everyone can understand, bar a few transalations we have to make. She just does not stop chatting. LOL. She knows all her colours and can count to 10. And to hear her recite all her songs she learns at daycare is sooo cute. LOL
Liam is great too, started PreSchool this year and loves it. Im going to be so sad when he starts school next year. Im so proud of him though, he can count to 30, knows his whole alphabet to sing and recognise, and can even write about 10 words now too! Not bad for just turned 4...
Anyway enough bragging, but yeah we are all well here, thinking about trying for number 3 in a few months time which is a bit exciting and a bit scary too...
Ok Im sorry I will stop going on now, looking forward to catching up wth you all again! I will be back this time I promise!!! XXXX

Becky - great to hear from you and well done on the posts to everyone! Good luck with whatever you decide on having no 3. I am daunted by going to no 3, but very excited to welcome our little fella to the mix. Definately it for us though, this has not been the best pregnancy and I am looking forward to getting my body back in some kind of shape when I have recovered for the c section!
Mo - great to hear you have Maddi in daycare once a week, I bet it is a great break for you. Also exciting about the dance classes! We are going to put Mia in some after the baby arrives and everything settles down. She just loves to sing and dance! Not sure about Tay yet, see how Mia goes first I think!
Nic - not sure bubs is going to come early, he only has about 24 hours to make it happen. Considering how high he feels and from the alien like movements my stomach has been making tonight just below my boobs, I don't think he is in a hurry ! Not long to go, fingers crossed it happens Thursday or Friday. Painful that we don't really have a definate date. Hopefully it is this week though!
Willow - strange thing is it has gone really quickly for me as well. Surprising with all the complications. I think once I hit 12 weeks that was it, there has been no turning back and I still think I hope he is baked enough!
Saffi - I have been really lucky with DH and MIL helping out with the kids. MIL has had lots of time off work annual leave and has had the kids for me a bit. Plus my DH can work at home if I need him. Yay.
:hello: to everyone I have missed. It is almost 3 in the morning and I really want to sleep but my body won't stop aching. So looking forward to not being pregnant anymore and hopefully the pain might ease off for me. I hope everyone is well.

Good morning everyone.
Hope you all had a festive/relaxing Australia Day.
kaz - you poor thing. I remember how uncomfortable those last few months were and given your complications can only imagine how much pain you must be in. I'll keep my eyes peeled for a BA towards the end of this week. Hang in there tho....
nick - I got my education over and done with before kids, but know at some point in the future I need to do more. I take my hat off to anyone studying, working and raising a family. Definitely need to be a superwoman. What kind of work are you looking for?
Mo - I know M will love daycare.
Willow - we've had a few daytime sleeps where L has kept getting out of bed. In one funny incident I looked down the hall towards his room and couldn't see him but the giant truck outside his door was magically moving into his room. L is a very loud walker so I know when he is up and about. L could have stayed in his cot for ages yet but because of M he needed to move up.
Julia - as an expat how did you celebrate Australia Day?
becky - thanks for the long and newsy post. In answer to your questions I'm well as are my 2. L is such a little boy now and loves playing with his train set and his trucks and cars. M is a lovely little girl. She doesn't like to sleep all that much but once she is fed she's generally very happy. It does make it hard to get anything else done as I need to occupy her almost every minute of the day, but thats my job for the time being. Yes, going back to work in 2 months time. DH is talking about taking time off once I go back to look after M. So coping pretty well with 2 kids. L is in daycare 4 days a week and DH is at home on the weekends so it is really only 1 day that I have to look after both of them by myself and thats my MG day so have other Mums to help me out. Good to hear that you and your kiddies are well. Your brave going for a third. The jury's still out on that one for me......
Hi to everyone else. Stop lurking and come and say hi.
Anyway M is screaming and needs to put settled for a nap. BBL

Congrats KAZ and family! Well done! :confetti:
Sorry will be back later...Myles is beeing soo sooky since his necklace broke argh!!!!!
-
OK, I've finally got time to post in here! DH has taken the boys to Inverloch overnight, Alana is asleep and I'm on the couch with my feet up - ahhhhhh.... I haven't done this for ages! Most nights consist of the circus of getting all three kids to bed, me having a shower, giving Alana a dream feed and then going to bed LOL! I even got to eat a chocolate Paddle Pop uninterrupted, pure bliss...
Kaz - A huge congratulations again!!! I hope you are recovering well and having lots of yummy snuggles with your little man :).
Kellie - Thanks for posting Kaz's BA!
Saffi - Sounds like you are all going well!
Becky - Great to hear from you! You have two very clever cookies!! Re: your question about the transition from 2-3 - It is sooooo busy! I really didn't know what busy meant until Alana arrived LOL! It is very doable, but be prepared to give up your "me" time for a while. It is chaotic and crazy, but I still love it :D. It's so nice to have an extra person to add to the dynamics, I love watching how the boys interact with Alana in their own way.
Amber - How is Myles? Did I see a FB status saying he is sick? (Sorry, I only quickly skimmed FB today). I hope you're all doing OK .
Mo - Maddi is so clever sleeping in her big bed! We'll be buying the boys some bunks soon so we'll try K in a bed then. I have a feeling he'll come out whenever he feels like!
Nic - Grrr @ the terrible twos! They suck don't they? I hope you can find a part time job that soon.
Willow - How's L going today? I hope he's feeling a bit better. Only 3 more sleeps until V & J start school - eek!!!
Sorry I haven't been posting often, I really like to make sure I can do personals when I post, but I don't often have the time to sit down and write it all out! We're all going good. DH got the clippers out on K's hair the other day and now he has very short hair, it looks quite cute! It makes his cute chubby cheeks and dimples stand out more :). He is being really cute, today he kept saying "Daddy's taking me to Imberwock (Inverloch)", even his Nanna understood him LOL! It's so quiet here without him!
Joel is super-excited about starting school next Monday, we've been counting down the days together. I had a bit of a freak out about the whole school-thing on Wednesday, but I'm OK now and feel quite excited. DH wants to be here for Joel's first day at school, but he has management meetings at work so he's bummed.
Alana is going well. She's able to move backwards now and she is getting up on her hands and knees briefly, I don't think it will be long before she works out how to go forwards. She's an active little thing and gets frustrated that she can't move! She absolutely loves her Jumperoo, it's so cute listening to her giggles while she jumps around :D.
Anyway, I think I've probably bored you all enough hahaha! I hope you all have a great weekend!!

Hope all the pregnant Mummas are keeping cool.
Kodi is sick, she's refusing all fluids & food. SO we are off to the dr's in an hour to get her checked over.
Maddi is doing well, at the moment she is loving dress ups. I'm forever picking up clothes but I do get a good giggle at some of the outfits so puts on so that makes it worth it.

Just a quick update of how we are going and went with Luka's delivery:
So last week went as planned to a point. We arrived at hospital at 6am, were taken down to theatre around 8.30am and we were all ready to head in when an emergency come through. This pushed us back around 40 minutes and we went in just after 9. We went to this room and the spinal was put in and we were wheeled in to the actual theatre. All good so far. They got everything going, monitors, screens etc and then the doctor proceeded to make the first incision. That is probably where things started going wrong ... they had a hard time cutting through my previous scarring and when they finally got to Luka he was coming out head and hands first. He must have got a fright or something, because as soon as they tried to grab him he moved really high in my belly and turned back to his breech position. They tried to get him out with forceps but that didn't work and I could feel the sensations of them trying lots of different things. FInally he come out, bum first and not doing to well. The doctor said he was stunned, but we have since found out he was not breathing yet. The timing between them pulling your baby out and that first cry is undescribable. I asked what was wrong and Bruno went over whilst they worked on our boy and resuscitated him. He finally let out a cry and then quiet again, only followed a little while later by lots and lots of crying to a very relieved mummy and daddy! They kept him in theatre with us for quite a while and he was monitored very closely. They then took Bruno and Luka back to our room and I got stitched up. So when I got back to the room, I was just relieved to have my baby boy in his daddy's arms. He was very marked on his face, if you have seen the photos on facebook you will see what I mean. The next 2 days were a bit hard for him as well, he had a bloodtest because of his traumatic birth to make sure all was ok and it come back showing his platelet count was low. He also had low blood sugar which led them to think that I had undiagnosed diabetes. He was so lethargic and after speaking to our doctor we thought the best thing for him was to give him a formula feed to see if he picked up. This was after we had nurses coming in saying how concerned they were with him as he was so floppy and slept constantly. Never woke for feeds or anything. The doctor come back and they re-did his blood and his platelet count picked up yay .. this meant he didn't have to go on iv anti's for 5 days in the nursery, feeding tube and all that. He was then test for jaundice twice and he is just below the level of concern. He is feeding better and he didn't put on weight in his check today, so we are crossing our fingers he does tomorrow otherwise he has to have yet another blood test. As you can see, he has had a pretty hard start and I call him my little pin cushion. I am so glad to have him here, but I just want my boy healthy. He is getting there.
Good news no more pelvic instability symptoms ... so so good!
So happy to be back in the land of normal. Be great to get back into the swing of things!
-
Kaz - what a rough start to life for your little man! Saw the photos of him on FB and he looks beautiful. So happy to hear that the pelvic pain has gone. Don't forget to do your core exercises when they give you the go ahead LOL.
Trish/Willow - how did the first day at school go?
Hello to everyone else!
Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes. Had a great day once L went off to daycare LOL. DH took the day off and we went out for lunch, watched a movie, had yummy desserts and then takeaway pizza for dinner. Wish it was my birthday every day!
All going well here. Mounds of washing and ironing to be done so my day is pretty much planned out.
-

Sorry for being so slack i will try to be better :) :grouphug: xxxx
-
Kaz - Congratulations!! I missed your big news :wall: Sounds like your little boy has had a rough start. Apart from the delivery, we had a very similar start. It's hard having them in the SCN and having all those tests done. It took weeks for D's heels to heal from all the pr!ck tests he had to have in the first week. Then when we came home he had to go back for a full blood count. That was horrendous :( Hope it's all behind you now and you're recovering well
And congrats on the RAK!!
Sorry for being such a slacker girls, will try and do a proper post tomorrow.

Just wanted to share an "Awwww..." moment quickly! The boys are playing outside atm and I've been watching them through the window. Joel was on his bike and K was on his scooter. K tripped over his scooter and sat down and cried showing Joel his foot. Joel jumped off his bike and gave K a big cuddle and kissed him on top of his head - awwww *sniff*. Joel then sat down on the ground with K and started showing him his bike, pointing out bits and explaining them to distract him from his crying. Next thing K is giggling away with Joel. Soooo sweet. Moments like that bring a tear to my eye!
BBL with personals, gotta go and bath my cute boys ;)
