Not sure about Matthew though... prob when I said I didnt have many preferences I should have said I didnt really want a 'traditional' name.. does that make sense?

hmmmmmmm Let me get cracking!!! :)
Julia/Kellie - I like Madeleine too. In fact thats M's middle name. I like Darcie as well and kinda like Jemima tho I also think of Jemima Puddleduck.
Kellie - you could always go with Lachlan LOL.
Julia - sorry to hear about your friend. That is so sad. Hope you and Max get better soon.
As for sleep training, the thought had occured to me that daycare could do it. It doesn't bother me too much atm cos she is generally a good sleeper at night. Its just that I can't predict when or how long she's going to sleep and therefore am really limited with what I can do. Also she likes to sleep in my arms and wakes when I put her down and not easily settled again. This sees me stuck on the couch a lot of the time too scared to move.
I am thinking about giving her a teething rusk to suck/chew on. I think she is ready to try solids but would prefer to hold off until 6 months.
Im home yay! Will come back later and catch up!
Julia...I love Abigail :)
Kellie I love Lewis!
Ok will bbl  xxxx
Kellie i liked Hunter, Tristan & Hayden & Phil really liked the name Rid****.
I know i liked a few other boys name i just can't remember them.
Julia from those names i love Abigail :)
Oh the great baby name debate ... we have ours sorted, yay!
I am now having my c section on the 1st of Feb, it was organised yesterday. Yay. I will be 38 weeks and 2 days. They are actually quite sympathetic to my pain, lack of sleep and inability to do much at all ... which is good for me!
Other than that had a great nights sleep last night and it feels so gooooooooood to finally sleep. Heading to Monash this afternoon for a sizing scan, so hopefully will get a good look at my little man.
Hope you guys are all well xx
kaz - great that you now have a date. Just a few more weeks to wait and then it will be over. Excellent date BTW - its my birthday LOL
haha, cool saffi ... its also my nephews (the only other boy in the grandchildren) so its a bit special all around!
quick update as I had my sizing scan today. The lady got us a bit stressed out as I asked if all was ok and she said no, I am worried about the size of babies legs. She said I just need to check something out. She went out of the room for a while and come back. She said he has short legs, and a large head but they are both just within range. Talk about worrying. I know he has 4 weeks to go and get into proportion, so trying to put it out of my mind. She said she is sure it will be fine, but asked if it has been brought up with my other scans, which it hasn't. Baby is also now breech, which is no big deal consideirng I am already having a c-section. He is sitting at about 2.5 kgs which is a good size for a 34'weekers. Well 35 weeks, as like I thought I am about a week ahead of those dates. Ultrasound was quite painful today, not sure if its because of the my muscles are stretched and stuff or what. Anyway, not long to go ... less than 4 weeks!
I will be so glad when this pregnancy is over, its been a tough one with lots of bumps along the way. I just want to hold my perfect baby in my arms, which I know he is going to be!
Hi everyone!
Saffi - Lachlan was actually on our list when we had tahlia! Might have to add it back on to this list too!
amber - Lewis is my fave too, but DH doesnt really like it :wall:
Kaz - how exciting that you have a date! Have you got anyone planned to do your BA?
Hi to everyone else!
We are taking Tahlia to see hi-5 tomorrow... I'm looking forward to it cause she is so excited. Not looking forward to the 40 degree temps forecast, being pregnant in this heat is not agreeing with me!
Kellie - No one planned to do the BA, hadn't thought that far ahead! Probably should, so if anyone is offering :)
We are going to hi-5 later in the month, must check that date come to think of it. Let me know what it is like ... we are going in Dandenong!
Kaz - I'd love to do it, should I PM you my mobile number? Hi-5 were excellent, Tahlia loved it, didnt stop dancing from the start to the finish!
Yeah do that Kellie and I will reply with mine!
I am glad Hi-5 were good and it sounds like Tahlia had a blast. We are going on the 23rd of January I found out today. My friend has booked the tickets, so that is why I was not sure of the date!
So I got a phone call from Monash before and they have moved my c-section to the 28th of January. Apparently the first couple of months of the year are pretty messy with theatre and the 28th works better for them. I was a bit shocked, as it means I have 3 weeks to go today. It will make me 37 weeks and 5 days when I deliver now, so I am hoping Baby V is cooked enough!
Kaz - will do! 28th jan - wow! Thats exciting, that means this month!!!!! I'm sure bub will be cooked enough!
Wow Kaz not long to go now, I'm sure bubba V will cooked to perfection but if not at least your in the best hospital the south east has to offer.
We will have to catch up one day soon :)
Kellie sounds T had a great time at Hi-5, we are waiting for the wiggles to do another tour, M is absolutely obsessed with them at the moment.
Amber thanks for the txt msgs, your such a wonderful a friend. I think if we lived closer we could of been great friends xx
Not much happening here, It's only 10 weeks till Kodi's 1st birthday, so i'm trying to think of a theme for her. I want some really girly for her.
M is doing well, she had another ear infection so we have to go back in 2 weeks to make sure her ears fully healing between ear infections but other than that she's doing great :)
Kaz wow you ahve your date set! How exciting!
Mo your most welcome hun! Thats what I am here for! I have been really slack when Flynn was born keeping in touch and it was not nice so am trying to be better :)
Well will be back later...DH is still on holidays so am trying to spend as much time wiht him as possibel! Miss you all xxxx
Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't been in here for a while, it's been so busy! We had a lovely time away in Inverloch, the boys loved the beach. We stayed down there with DH's uncle, his uncle's girlfriend and her daughter (who is my age). They were lovely people and Joel was in love with the two ladies LOL! The daughter is an actress who has been in lots of ads on TV, the one I remember her in is the Philadelphia light cream cheese ad, she was the first angel LOL! It was very interesting getting to know her :)
K has changed so much now he can converse with us, he's such a funny little man! He's putting together some long sentences - he was playing with a toy bus and said "Mummy, the bus hit me!" DH and I were very impressed . It's great because now he can tell on Joel and I know exactly what Joel's been up to when I'm not in the same room .
Alana has been sleeping pretty dodgily at night recently so I'm feeling pretty tired. I'd give anything for a full night's sleep right now! Oh well, I guess that's what you get when you have babies :)
We're planning a 5 or 6 week caravaning trip over to WA in September/October (we think!), hopefully it won't be too crazy with the 3 kids! I was born in Perth and half my rellies still live over there, I haven't been over there since I was 14 :o. It will be great to see them all again, my Granddad turns 100 this year so hopefully he'll still be around when we get over there.
I'd better run, I'm so sorry for the lack of personals, but I don't have enough time atm. I've been reading all of your posts and are thinking of you all .
Have a great day :D
Its sooooooo hot, I am hanging for the cool change today. Not much news here. My baby had its first bout of hiccups last night, weird feeling. He has also been really active, which is reassuring. I am not sure he is breech anymore or if he ever was? The hiccups felt like his head was down, and the kicks I am getting are really high .. unless they are more like punches? I have no idea. I have an appointment next week, we might get a better idea then. It does not really make a difference any which way, since I am having a c section.
16 sleeps to go girls .. woohoo! He better be baked enough, that is my biggest concern at the moment.
Sorry for no personals, too hot to be sitting in front of the computer. Hope you are all coping as best as possible.
xx
Hello............... anyone out there????
kaz - 16 sleeps but who's counting??. I'm sure he will be "baked" perfectly. I love those hiccups.
Trish - you're game going on such a long caravan trip, but it does sound good. I've never been to WA (really must go sometime).
Julia - how'd the scan go?
Hello to everyone!
We are going well. Weighed M yesterday and she is now 7.28kg. This puts her around the 75th percentile for weight so a chubby bubby.
M had some photos done with one of those shopping centre photographers yesteray. The shots I saw look so good. I can't wait until they are ready to be picked up next month. They were the first professional photos we've had taken of her. Thinking I should get some of L and of both of them. Maybe not....
L is good. His vocab is expanding all the time and he is now talking about things that he did (like going for a walk to the shops with DH). DH says that L was dreaming about dinosaurs last night........
Hope all of you in the southern states are surviving the hot weather.
