Amber - Shopping with a 2 year old is never fun, Tay will take off on me at the drop of a hat. Mia has never been like that and I could take her anytime, so maybe Flynn will be the shopper of your family :D!
WIllow - I had a laugh at your crane comment, already we are getting comments about our baby being a boofa, and he is not even here yet! I am a bit touchy about the size issue, as I am no rake and copped crap about my weight most of my life. It is something I hope that none of my kids, especially as babies when they are meant to be chubby and cute and healthy!
Pish - Sorry to hear about your scan, on a positive though you have a happy and healthy baby. I have had friends who found out and didn't tell their husbands, so I don't think you are weird for not being able to do that. As for the option for pain relief, stick to your guns! You are the one going through it and know when it gets too much.
Mo - Sorry to hear about Kodi, anytime you want to chat you know where I am. If I can help with anything let me know! I hope Monash get back to you soon so that you can have your tests and get some answers. I am also hoping its a viral thing, like one of the other girls mentioned! :crossfingers:
Trish - We are having trouble with Tay as well. She is waking really upset during the night and there is no calming her down. Maybe it is a phase they are going through? Hope the cold passes soon!
MissKate - Cute story about Lachlan, Tay always asks for a kiss, a hug and another kiss! They are really developing their little personalities now, and the things that they come out with ... my favourite is Tay singing in the car. I have to try and tape it somehow, its priceless!
Kellie - Looks like you have another little cutie, enough kisses for you mummy! You better start behaving, it sounds like you might get told in the future when you are not! :D
Julia - How are you feeling and any signs of a bump yet?
Happy - Glad you have a good helper in your DD, I have a feeling my oldest will be the same. She lovvvvvvvvvvves babies!
Saffi - How are things your end?
Amelia - How are you?
I don't think I have missed anyone, but if I did ... sorry. All well this end. The girls are over their bug ... yay. Let's hope the rest of the year is a healthy one for us. We celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary yesterday with a kid free day (thanks MIL). We went shopping, out for lunch, to a movie and even went to tunza fun for a couple of games ... big kids huh. It was so nice to spend some time with DH, we rarely get to do it alone. We actually had stuff to chat about besides the kids, which is rare! It is easy to get consumed in the kids and forget about US! I fell asleep in the movie though, whoops and I was sooooooo exhausted last night. I am staying home today to rest. Did the tiredness hit anyone else really bad in the last tri-mester? I have never felt it like I am this pregnancy.
Other than that not much happening. 31 weeks tomorrow, which means with my c-section date I only have 8 weeks to go ... yay. I should get my definate date on Monday as I have another appointment at Monash. Will let you know.
Anyway better go, hope you are all well.
K x
Hey all!
Alana and I are sick now :(. I was up and down all night (usually just to replace a dummy) with her. I feel so yuck today. K seems to be worse today, at 10:15am he started making his nest (blankie & dummy) on Joel's fold-out couch and was snuggling down, I asked him if he would like to go to bed and he said "Okay", and he slept for 2 hours. He doesn't normally have a nap until around 1pm so this is pretty unusual. He was coughing on and off in his sleep too the poor thing. Alana slept for 2 hours too while Joel was at kinder so I managed to get a mini-nap in. Oh the fun of it all!
K had his 2 year check up at the MCHN yesterday, he didn't want to get undressed and carried on like a pork chop LOL! Alana had a check up too and is now 6.1kg, she is growing so quickly! She's in the 90th percentile for height and head circumference (all my kids have big heads thanks to DH ) and 75th percentile for weight, I am very happy with that :)
I hope everyone is well. Sorry for no personals atm, I have to go and pick Joel up in a minute!
OK, I'm back!
Kaz - Congratulations on your 4th anniversary! It sounds like you had a great time together :D. I was definitely more tired in the third tri with Alana than I was with the boys. The third pregnancy really seems to take it out of you!
Amber - Myles looks so gorgeous with his hair cut! It still looks curly to me :). I have to say that your boys are just SOOOO cute! You are such a lucky mum :D
Willow - People can be so rude! I don't think they realise they are being rude most of the time . And, "How do you carry him?", what sort of a question is that! My gosh, we are still lugging our 2 year olds around, I think we can manage a baby LOL! I'm sure L will LOVE his trike! I wish I could have found one within our price range for K, he would love one too.
Tiff - I hope Tiera's crying session the other night was a one off for you, it's so stressful when they do that.
Mo - How's Kodi going today? Hopefully she is back to her happy self.
Celtic - We've had some cranky teething moments lately, we're still waiting on the last set of molars. Hope you guys have a great Christmas :)
I forgot to mention in my previous post that K went to bed without a fuss the night after his dodgy one. He tried the "Mummy, out?" on me, but I knew he wasn't upset this time and just made a bit of a joke of it and he went off to sleep with no probs. I think it helped the night before that I didn't make a fuss of him when I let him come out of bed. I put him on the couch with the lights off (I left a lamp on) and went and had a shower so he didn't have any entertainment or attention that would make him want to do it every night! Last night I put a Fisher Price Ocean Wonders cot toy in his cot (it plays music and has lights) and told him it was a special toy he could have at bedtime. He was very excited and fell asleep watching the lights. I think I'll use that one again!
I'm posting from my phone cause I'm having issues with Telstra.
Kodi is booked in for her EEG on Tuesday morning & then booked in to see the Paed Monday the 21st. So at least we will know before Christmas if it's anything serious.
Will post more once I get my net back
I'm back finally.
Amber Flynn is a great size & Myles looks so big with his new hair cut.
Willow i still can't believe D weighs more than Kodi, He must look so cute!
Kaz congrats on your 4th anniversary & i'm so glad both your girls are finally better.
Trish hope your all feeling better & A is a great size also.
Hi to everyone else :)
Hi all
Sorry been MIA, but been busy, busy, busy.... Just quickly
Things going good here. Taking M for her 4month vaccinations this afternoon. Reckon she'll weigh close to 6.5kgs. Been almost a month since I last weighed her so will be interesting.
Picked up L's Xmas laybuys today while he was at daycare. Also got a few other stocking filler things. Also managed to buy M a few little things but still nothing big yet... Just can't face buying more toys.
L had a fever yesterday poor thing.. I hate it when he is sick, I feel so helpless. The pandadol kicked in really quickly you could see him perking up. Luckily it seems to have gone away and no calls from daycare as yet.
Anyway, M is screaming upstairs so better go. Hope everyone is well.
Hee hee, Kieran calls a kangaroo a "Boing Boing Roo" hee hee...
BBL
Hi everyone!
Mo good luck tomorrow hun! Hope everything is ok!
Kaz omg 8 weeks1 thats so excitng! How are you feeling?
Trish gee your kids are cute! Wish M would go back to no fuss at bed time! Hows Alana?
Saffi hope L is better soon! Poor M how did she go wiht her needles :( Ho much does she weigh? Gee Flynn probably weighs more then her lol! He was 6.2 last weigh!
Not much ahppening here! Have our 6 week check ups tomorrow! Saw the wiggles today M loved it! Got him a few things to wrap up for christmas. Other than that F is doing so well he is such a chubba! 6.2kgs! Funny story we were at the airport getting my dad and there were twins sitting near us and mum said oh they look like new ones...I said no I think about 5 weeks..they were so tiny...bumped into the mum in the change rooms whiel changing F and asked her how old they were...13 weeks :o they were only 2kgs born 7 weeks early...so F was bigger than both of them born.We had a laugh and then got on to talking about BF and how she was exclusivly feeidng both of them..expressing etc what a woman hey!
anyway enough rambling Mwah xxxx
Hi Gals :)
Sorry haven't been around much. Maxy been sick, then me. Today I had to go back to the doc coz I got an ear ache....I felt like a primary school kid again! Got some ab's so hopefully it will go away soon. DH is off to China again tomoz so want to be feeling better so I can pay 'proper' attention to Max!!
Well I know some of you have already found out this from fb.....but for those out there who don't......and for the sake of me being able to say it yet AGAIN......
I'm happy to announce that Maxy will soon be a big brother to a baby SISTER!!! Although when I tell him he is going to be a big brother he says "no mum, I a mower man!" He's too funny!!
Very very excited. Doc was 99% sure about it, but said he'll double check at the next scan in another 4 weeks (which is 12th January.....OMG)
Mo Good luck for the EEG tomorrow xo
Saffi Know the feeling when the LO's are sick. M turns into such a sooky baby and all he wants is cuddles. That I can do, but wish I could do more to help it go away. What was Immi's weight?
Amber Flynn is clearly thriving from your Mumma full cream milk! You're amazing too!
Kaz Yep, I've started to get a bump, although I told someone today I was UTD and she didn't think so! I think the bump has a bit too much fat on it still! How are you feeling....OMG not long to go for you now!
Pish I hope you are feeling better now about not knowing the sex of your little Tiger. I didn't have DH with me when I found out but called him straight away afterwards....then I blubbered like a baby to him coz I didn't have anyone else to tell!
SO....MIL thinks she knows the name of our Blobby......! Apparently she has a psychic who works with her and she knew it was a girl....and she apparently knows the name too! Good luck love! We'll see huh! At least choosing between boy and girl you have a 50/50 chance, but with a name?!
Well I think I need to go to sleep. Good night everyone!!! xxoo
Jules like I said on FB congratulations on your little pink bundle :confetti: Max is too cute...maybe he and Myles can start a mower business he loves to mow lol! I am sooo happy for you all :loveshower: xxx
Julia - congratulations of the little girl! Have you got a name in mind already?
Amber - I'll have to look at L's book but I think he was smaller at the same age as M. Seems that second babies are always bigger.
M's checkup went well. Dr wrote in her book "Beautiful Baby Girl". She now weighs 6.6kg and her head measures 41.8 so she is in the 75th percentile. Got myself a chubba bubba!
DH at home today to oversee the delivery of our new lounge suite. Very exciting. Hope it fits the room.
Saffi Immy sounds like she is growing beautifully.
Jules congrats again on your pink bundle, you'll have so fun shopping for all the girly things.
Amber how'd ya 6 week check ups go?
Kodi's appt went well today, she was very well behaved & only tried to pull the cap off 3 times.
We are off to NSW & maybe QLD next week, It will be my 1st Christmas in 10yrs that i get to spend with my sister, nieces & nephews.
Thought we might drive up to QLD to see Phil's dieing Grandpa, just depends on how the girls go with the trip to NSW.
Um QLD Mo...come visit please we would love to see you and the girls! Check up went well Flynn is 6.2kgs...i thought he was that last week but got confused lol! so glad the appointment went well wiht Kodi...hope it is all ok!
Saffi ooh a new lounge! How nice! What is it like?
Well Myles is being a pickle at bed time again..wont go to sleep then DH gets mad cause he is being kept awake :( Hope he is ok soon cause I hate seeing him upset!
Check up went well all is good in both camps! I must have passed the clot and there is no more worry about retained placenta which is great! I can now swim and ski cant wait! Flynn is a chubba! The pead worked out him to be putting on 430g per week since discharge :o He is 6.2kgs cant remember how long but he said he is one big boy lol!
Hi to everyone! xxx
Sorry girls, I have been MIA for a few days. Life is so busy and I am a bit nocturnal at the moment, as you can tell considering I am posting at 2.40am! I have been in a fair bit of pain and sleeping is impossible. DH has been great, supportive and taking a lot of the load off of me. Had a big cry at the Dr's the other day and she was great, she said they won't let me keep going in so much pain and my scheduled c section date of the 8th of Feb will get moved forward and I will go in on the emergency list if things don't improve. This give me some hope that my 7 weeks to go might turn into 6! We will see. I have a feeling this bubs is going to come early, not sure why, maybe the pressure I feel often which makes me think he is just knocking to come out! He is head down and bum up, but not engaged. But its still early days and neither of my girls ever engaged properly, so I am probably getting a bit ahead of myself thinking that my boy might make an appearance early without any intervention in making it happen!
Amber - We are having trouble with bed time with Tay as well, she is up about 4-6 times before she settles. Each time with a new excuse! I cannot believe Flynn is 6 weeks already and as you say a little chubba bubba. Was Miles a big boy? Tay was so much bigger than Mia, she still is more solid. Definately different builds!
Julia - Congratulations on your little girl ... a pigeon pair is nice! Are you stopping at two or will you go back for more?
Trish - How are you and Alana? I think you mentioned your were both getting sick. We have developed a cold this week, I am sick of reporting that we are sick AGAIN! Let's hope 2010 is a kinder year to us all in the good health department!
Mo - Great that Kodi's appointment went well, when do you get the results? Good luck on your long drive ... in car dvd players is my big tip and driving at night! We have done Melb to Adel a few times and night drives are the best with the kidlets and for your sanity!
Saffi - How proud must you be to have people write in your book about your beautiful baby girl ... awww ... it makes me a little jealous that my little baby girl days are over. Little girls are the best, I am seeing them everywhere at the moment. But don't get me wrong, I won't be sending my little man back for the world. DH has said we can try again if I really want another girl ... but I was like I am sad but not that sad! I am done with pregnancy
Willow - Glad you are happy with your trike purchase, my girls keep seeing the barbie ride on bike things and get very excited. Which makes me excited as we have brought them a little quad each for christmas. They were on clearance for $45 each which is a bargain! I am so excited with christmas this year, the girls are really into it ... its great!
Pish - How are things going in your camp? You never know there might be another opportunity to find out your bubs sex and your DH might come around by then. My DH was adament with No 2 that he didn't want to find out, but when it come time for the ultrasound he ended up talking me into it and then she was hiding and they couldn't be definate anyway.
:hello: to anyone I have miss and sorry! It has taken me 10 mins to write this post, making it 8 mins to 3am and I am going to try and attempt some sleep! Hope you are all well and organised for christmas which is just over a week away!
Mornin ladies,
Sorry I have been MIA, we have been so busy I have just been quickly jumping onto BellyBuddies and thats about it. It is just a quick one from me for now as it is another busy day and I have to get T off to FDC by 10.
The Wiggles were just amazing!!! Willow, you definately will not be disappointed!!! We were on the floor right in front of the stage so T got to see everything. She danced the entire time and got to give Sam a high 5! hehehe was so cute. Was worth every cent! i went a little over board with the merchandise (sp?), I got her a Wag tail and ears (as my nephew already had dorothy from when he was her age and wants to give that to her!) a programme and a $20 Dorothy balloon!!! I was doing so well until I got the balloon!!! Oh well Its not every day that you get to see them, especially for the first time!
Kaz - My OB does a scan at each visit but he still doesn't want to know, we'll just see how we go! :)
Amber - T has been 'trying' at bedtime recently! Even when she's so tired she'll still play about or cry and get herself all worked up! I dunno whats gotten into her!
Oooo and I reached half way in my preg yesterday!!! I was over the moon, now the count down is on! I put a couple of belly shot up on FB last night if anyone would like a peep.
I am really sorry this is a selfish one!
Good morning! Hope everyone is well :)
How scary that's it's nearly Christmas!! It has come so quickly this year. The boys are very excited about it which is cute. Joel had his last day of kinder yesterday, they had a party and then the parents came towards the end and the kids sang songs for us, very cute! I feel so sad that it's the end of an era, but I guess I'll get to go through it again with the younger two. I bought Joel's school uniform and school bag the other day (Santa is going to leave it under the tree ;)) and it sent a shiver down my spine LOL.
We've all been watching our home videos that we've filmed since Joel was born, it's funny how you forget what they were like when they were smaller! Joel was such a cute little man, it is great to see him at the age of two so we can compare him to K. They were SO different! Looking at Joel as a bub, we can see a huge resemblance between him and Alana which I couldn't see with photos. It's more the facial expressions and actions. I'm so glad we recorded so much, it's fun to look back on. Anyway, I'm rambling LOL!
K has been sleeping well again the last couple of nights thank goodness, but he's still a bit grumpy at times, I hope those teeth pop through ASAP so we can get this teething business over and done with!!
Alana is going well, she went 8 hours between feeds last night, but I had to go in a few times in between to replace her dummy. I think we might give the dummy the flick soon, I want unbroken sleep!
Kaz - You poor thing not being able to sleep. I hope you get to have your bub a bit earlier. Have you picked a name yet? I can't wait to find out what it is!!
Amber - Wow @ Flynn's weight gain! What a brilliant job you are doing mummy! I always feel so proud when my bubs have gained good weight, it's amazing that our bodies can do that for them :D
Mo - Glad the appointment went well, make sure you keep us posted. Have a lovely time away!
Saffi - Immi is going great! I love the comment your Dr made, how sweet (and true ;)) :D. How's the new lounge?
Julia - Congrats again on your little girl!! Have you started buying pink stuff yet? It's so much fun! I hope you are feeling better you poor thing .
Willow - How's things over at your camp atm? I hope sleep is on the improve since those teeth have popped through!
Pish - Woohoo on reaching the halfway point!
Hi to anyone I've missed!
We've just had our smart meter installed this morning for our solar panels, it will be interesting to see what our electricity bills will be like now!
Have a great day everyone!!
Hi everyone
Tiff - yay for being half way!
Kaz - great that the Dr will bring you forward. I remember that third tri insomnia, just a shame its because you are in pain. We think M is beautiful but it does make us proud when others comment.
Trish - should really watch the videos from when L was born onwards. I also need to get photos printed and put into albums. Oh well, one day.
Mo - yay for Kodi being such a good girl. How's she going? Let us know if you do get to Brisbane. I'd love to meet you IRL.
Amber - hope M's night sleeps improve.
Had MG here this morning. L was in fine form fluctuating from one extreme to the other. He's asleep now and the cleaning up has been done and M is dozing on the boob.
SIL had a baby boy this morning. We're going in on the weekend to see them.
The lounge is great. We got a King Furniture setting in a caramel coloured leather. Hoping that it will be easy to keep clean. DH is thrilled as he's been wanting a leather lounge for years. Even better is L has boxes to play in.
Nawwww Trish, you're little man is so grown up, off to big school soon. I look forward to the school days, but don't because as you say it's a whole new era in their little lives!
Saffi - How exciting! You're an aunty (again maybe?!) What did they name him? There are babies come out left right and centre and sooooooooooo many preg people atm too! :)
Well we're heading away for the weekend with the inlaws and wont be home until Mon afternoon sometime, so I wont be around for a few days, but I will jump back on to catch up on everyone the moment I get a chance.
Take care ladies and have a brilliant weekend
Tiff - I'm an aunty many, many, many times over LOL. They named him Levi. There are heaps of babies due early next year that I will need to make more cards. Have a good weekend away.
Trish I love hearing about your beautiful family :) Hope Joel likes Santa delivering his uniform :)
Saffi congrats on being an Aunty again! I wuld love for my brother to ahve kids caus eDHs brother and his family live away :(
Tiff have agreat weekend!
Myles has cut his last bottom 2 molars without a teething sign in sight! Gee I love the amber necklaces :)We ahd a liottle christmas party yesterday wiht some mums and bubs it was so lovely watching them all play...well except when it came to sharing lol! Santa made a visit ;) and all the kids had a great time, the house was a mess sand EVERYWHERE but I am just happy they had fun :)
Well off Christmas shopping today wihtout Myles :)
xxxx
Hey guys, just popping in quickly to say hello!
Trish - Sleep has been generally good, the early evening antics have stopped and he settles now without a fuss which is great. He was very unsettled last night but it was 40 here yesterday and still 29 in our bedroom at 4am. I couldn't sleep so guessing he couldn't either :dunno: And he's also still cutting that second tooth through. Anyway, I can't complain too much, he is generally a very happy and settled baby and sleepless nights (or days for that matter) are rare.
So cute about J's uniform, I got V's about a month ago. Still have some more stuff to get, just a few more polo shirts etc. I also need to get her shoes, a new lunch box etc (how much is it going to suck not having her lunch stored in the fridge like at preschool?! :wall:) and a new bag. She'll get some of that for her bday, just after xmas.
Saffi - Congrats on the new nephew! L's name was going to be Levi until the minute he was born and it somehow just wasnt right. We got a new leather lounge (chocolate brown) about 6 months ago - brilliant, you won't regret it. It is so easy to keep clean.
As for us - I took the big two into the city on the train today to see the Wiggles. OMG...one of the most enjoyable experiences I have ever had with my kids :) Our seats were amazing, front row about a metre from the stage. L had an absolute ball!!! He danced so hard he is buggered! We had an early start and he missed his nap so I know one groovy little boy who will be in bed very early tonight! For those on FB, I'm going to try to post a video of him dancing, so cute!
Better go, the boy is not coping, he's soooo tired.
Willow wow! Front row! Hopefully nest year I will be able to get good tix for M ...cant complian about this year though they were free :) x
Celtic- have a safe and happy xmas, you have had a pretty rough time this year, maybe some time out will be good for you, i hope to still hear from you with updates when you can.
Pish- happy half way!
Trish - how exciting yet scarey that Joel is starting school!
Hey just a quickie all about me post girls ... as I am waiting for my DH to come back so we can watch the rest of Flashpoint (great show!). I have also been in hospital .. argh! After my night of no sleep, I developed some excrutiating pain around 2am. It went on and on and by 6.30 was unbearable. DH called his mum to stay home from work so he could take me to the hospital and she could watch the girls. We got to their house and the pain was so bad we had to call the ambulance. They come and loaded me up, gave me a green thing to suck on (gross) and off we went. Went straight up to maternity and it turns out I have a UTI which is making its way to my kidneys. Urine tests have not picked it up, but the swab the dr took on monday at my check up has. Which means its gone higher than just a UTI. Waiting for my results from my scan but Monash had their system go down and no results until tomorrow. GOt put on iv antibiotics, 2 x drip as I was dehydrated. After begging and pleading I was allowed to leave hospital and got home at about 7 that night. Long day. I am ok now, pain is pretty good and I am on oral anti's. If the infection has gone to my kidneys I have to go back to hospital for 2 days to have more iv anti's, but I would say since I have picked up so much all is ok. Will keep you all posted. So looking forward to this baby arriving, we thought it was happening Thursday for a min but luckily no!
Will be back later to reply to personals ... big hugs x
Hi all!
Kaz - Big hugs . You poor thing, that must have been so scary! I'm glad they found the issue, I hope you are feeling heaps better really soon.
Nic - How are you guys going?
Amber - I just read on FB that you're all sick :(. I hope you all make a quick recovery in time for Christmas .
Mo - Hope you're doing OK today .
Willow - The Wiggles concert sounds like it was awesome! That's great that D has been sleeping better. Re: no fridge at school - Joel's kinder didn't have a fridge either. I bought Joel a new insulated lunch box/bag thingy and also bought a frozen gel pack to help keep his lunch cool. Hopefully it helps!
Tiff - Hope you had a nice time away over the weekend :)
Saffi - Leather couches are so great when you have kids! We have one in one of our living areas and it just wipes clean. Our other couches in our main living room are fabric and they get so dirty. We hired one of those carpet/upholstery cleaners from the supermarket last weekend to clean them. It was such hard work, luckily DH did it LOL!
I finally finished the last of the Christmas shopping yesterday, woohoo! They boys were out all day so I got to wrap everything too, it took an hour and a half so I'm glad they were out! I'm so looking forward to Christmas morning this year, it will be so much more fun now that K's older. I know he will love his wheelbarrow, he gets excited when DH uses his. DH is building Joel a basketball ring with a height adjustable pole so he can reach it.
Alana is going well, still a happy little thing. Her sleeping overnight has been a bit ordinary recently (she's almost 4 months old which is a typical sleep regression age - remember that anyone?! LOL), but I put her in her hammock overnight last night and she had a great night. Didn't even wake for a feed until 6:15am so I am very happy! I woke up at 6am automatically, I'm so used to getting up early these days!!
Is anyone going away over the Christmas holidays? We're staying down at Inverloch for 4 days over new years. DH's aunty who lives down there is going away and is letting us use her house. We stay down there every year, it's so lovely down there. Her house is absolutely beautiful and has ocean views, very nice :)
Anyway, hope you all have a great day!
Hi ladies!!!
I'm back! Had a nice weekend away, it was great as we got back today and there are already people everywhere, in early for the Christmas break, so was good to relax before it all really starts!!! As of Saturday the park is completely booked solid plus we don't take bookings for our camping area and get about 600 people out there on top of all the people in the park, I do love the hussel and bussel of it all, but it is oh so tiring! I will be working on weekends, but T will have to follow me around as I really don't have anyone to look after her... Oh well she loves all the people!
Trish - It's a great feeling to have all of the Christmas shopping done!!! I must say I don't really remember T having a prob sleeping at night at all, but I really don't know how I am going to go with a newborn again! I LOVE my sleep and don't do well without it and as T was such a good sleeper, I am not expecting 2 great sleepers!!! hahahaha let the fun begin!! ;) That sounds nice going away after Christmas, I hope you have a great time.
Kaz - You poor thing! I am glad you're feeling a bit better now. I hope you don't have to go back into hossy again. I have a UTI that spred up into my kidneys a few years ago and it was horrible, I really hope its all cleared up really soon.
Willow - I knew you'd love it, T had a ball at teh Wiggles last week and I got a ll teary seeing her so happy. We too were right up the front, couldn't have asked for better seats. Glad to hear you all enjoyed yourself so much!
Amber - T has recently got some more teeth without any trouble what so ever, I really didn't even notice. Its horrible when they suffer trough it. I think with #2 I'll have to invest in one of those Amber necklaces, so many people swear by them!
:hello: to anyone and everyone I've missed. I hope you have all hada great start to the week.
Kaz - that must have been really scary. So was that the reason for all the recent pain? Hopefully the ABs will do their job. You really don't want to be in hospital before bubs arrives.
Went to visit my nephew in hospital yesterday. He was born 100gr more than M and 800gr more than L and he looked so small. I can't remember either of my two being that small.
Finished my Xmas shopping today. Only have to wrap up the presents now and put them under the tree once L goes to bed on Thursday night. Is anyone wrapping presents for their toddlers? DH doesn't see the point of it with him being so young. I think that would be the best bit watching him tear through the paper.
L had his last day at his original daycare today. I expected to feel sadder than I was. He doesn't know that he won't be going back. I made sure he said good bye to his special friends tho I hope we will still stay in touch with them.
Nothing much else happening. Going to stick close to home for the next few days and get the house ready for Xmas Day.
Hope you are all surviving the silly season.
Hi ladies,
Saffi - I have wrapped all of T's prezzies as she LOVES opening them!!! She gets really excited when she sees a present then has a ball tearing the paper to bits! :) It's funny when you see a new born and think, my baby wasn't that little!!! I can't wait to have another little on to cuddle, T is going to love it!
Another friend had a baby yesterday, thats 2 in 2 weeks! Bub is 4 weeks early, but is doing really well! He's a healthy (but small) 6lb 3oz, feeding well and by mum's side only days away from coming home to his big sister. I'm not going to see them in hossy but will definately see them when they get home. I can't wait for a cuddle! :D
Oooooo exciting news! T is now officially in undies!!!! :hooray: I put a nappy on her to go to bed, but did a big wee before her sleep yesterday and woke 3.5 hrs later with a completely dry nappy, mummy was very impressed!
Well thats about it from us! Take care ladies.
Hi girls, been so so busy, as I am sure we all have ... but just wanted to say MERRY CHRISTMAS if I do not get a chance to get back on here again before tomorrow! I hope that you have a fabulous day with your lovely families and have been good girls so that Santa brings you a great pressie!
Hi beautiful friends :)
Can't believe it's Christmas tomorrow. I am so freaking excited this year....only because Maxy is! I wanna bottle his excitement and keep it for me for ever and ever!
Saffi I spent 2 hours wrapping Max's presents yesterday, as well as my own and can't wait for him to open them all tomorrow morning. They might be young, but I really do think they get it in some way. Every day I've been giving Max something in his advent calendar. Been telling him that father Christmas only comes when he is asleep and he gets so excited in the morning when he sees the chocolate wrapper (choc has to be left in the fridge!) with a note on it from FC saying what a good boy he'd been the day before and that he got this chocolate because.....blah blah! P.S Leather couches are the bomb...don't know how I ever lived with a fabric one (so gross!)!!!
Kaz I hope you feel better now. You've really had a hard time with this pregnancy. A bladder infection that spreads to your kidneys is really painful...that's what my friend had to go to hospital for when she was here visiting (spent the whole time there) and was on the IV drips etc. She was not in a good way, and she didn't have a baby growing in her to boot. You don't have long now till your little blue bundle is out and you can have your body back! I hope 2010 is a better one for you and your family on the illness front :) x
Trish WOW your big boy going to school. I can feel your pain/happiness all rolled into one! I'll be such a blubbering mess the day Max heads off to anything for a day without me! I find it hard to let him go now as it is! Can't wait to see him in a school uniform though! What a proud moment that will be! I love seeing the pics of Alana and the boys on FB.....they are all so gorgeous. I sure do remember the 4 month sleep regression....I thought I had an angel baby till that 4 months hit!!! Luckily I had all of you to go through it with!!
Pish How are you feeling? Wow two little bubbas for you to look at! I gawk at tiny babies when I see them here and just think...WOW I'm going to have another one come mid next year! If your friends little bubba was 6lb when born 4 weeks early I bet he would have been a big one full term! I was only 6lb 12oz born......shame I never stayed a small petiete person!! I can share your undies joy too! Max is going so well....he now tells me when he needs to do wee's AND poo's and can sleep his entire day sleep in undies with NO accidents. I don't know how it happened but I'm not knocking it!
I'll Be back to finish my post.....Max wants to go and see stimpy our friendly 'feral' cat!

:confetti: :leap: xxxx
Merry Christmas to all my Octo Mamas and Bubs!!!
xxxxoooo
Well I clearly got a bit distracted and didn't get to come back!
Hope you all had a great day yesterday. Ours was great. A bit of a battle with the afternoon downpour but it passed quickly. Max was great and had his little friend Luella to play with which kept him going all night (then he promptly crashed at about 10pm)
Food was delicious but missed the company of the close family! Next year maybe huh!?
xxoo
Hi everyone
How did everyone survive Christmas? Ours was very busy. The morning was great watching L go from one present to the next. The house is totally covered with toys from one end to the other. We had lunch here with the ILs and friends and had a 6yo, 2yo, 1yo and a 4month old attending. L didn't sleep all day and has only just come down from the sugar high! Glad its over.
Julia - glad you all had a good day. Next year you'll have a 3yo and a bub - you'll be in for a full-on day. Hope your family can join you next year.
Off to day 2 of the sales. Went out by myself yesterday while DH minded the kids. He then went to a movie in the afternoon which was fair.
Hope everyone is having a good time.
Hi Girls ... Merry Christmas ... sorry I am late, so busy! It sounds like everyone had a fabulous day with their families and the kidlets made it extra special! We had a great year staying home and having the inlaws over. It was just nice to not rush anywhere, even did not find it stressful cooking lunch and then DH did all the dishes by himself when I had an after catnap ... yay!
I think all of the work, shopping and lack of sleep leading up to and around christmas has caught up with me as I am buggered. I am under strict orders today to do nothing and relax! Not hard as I have been up since early vomiting, seems to have stopped now fingers crossed. Not sure what that was about, but I had cramping as well (constipation sorry for TMI) so it might have been a results of that? I keep thinking can this happen in labour? But having only gone into false labour with Mia twice before being induced and experiencing contractions, I have not much idea. I figure if I get constant pains that are coming and going and get intense like they did when I experienced contractions way back then I will know its time! I am just waiting and half expecting my waters to break this time ... not sure why, just feels sooooooooooo different this pregnancy, maybe a boy thing? DH is convinced I will go early, so we will see if he is right. The countdown is on though hey, 33 weeks for me yesterday, which means 6 weeks and 1 day until my planned c section ... or maybe a bit earlier depending on how I am travelling! Yay I think :o
Saffi - How was L the next day? We found Mia was full on and lots of tantrums the next day, weird. Tay has been pretty good and cruisy really.
Julia - This was my first ever christmas without seeing my family, it was a bit strange, but I coped fine .. yay. Hopefully you get your wish and have more family around you next year!
Willow - Thanks for the christmas wishes, hope that you also had a fantastic day x
Amber - Hope you guys had a fabulous day as well!
Mo - Merry christmas .. are you guys still away and when do you come back to VIC? I am sure you are having a blast with your family!
Saffi - Merry Christmas ... recent pain was all due to a UTI that had started heading towards my kdneys. Two iv's and iv antibiotics and oral antibiotics and I hope that I am on the mend!
Kellie - When I read your post about staying off of the roads I thought how true ... we were leaving DH's parents christmas night and a guy across the road was so drunk he was lying on the ground, he somehow managed to get up and get in his car and drive off. I thought to myself he is the type of person to ruin everyone's year ... unbelievable! How are you feeling?
Pish - Congrat's on T and the undies, Tay has no idea! She loves the concept though of wearing knickers!
Trish - How was your christmas? When do you leave for INverloch, that will be a nice break for you, first one as a family of 5?
OK if I have missed anyone I am really really sorry. I hope you are all well. What is everyone's plans for NY's? We have none at the moment ... probably should get onto that!
x
Hi everyone!
It's been so busy around here I haven't had time to pop in and wish you all a merry Christmas! I hope you all had a great day. We had a nice, quiet one at our house. We only had MIL and FIL over for lunch and my mum and step-dad popped in for a while. It was so much fun watching the boys open their presents from Santa. K slept in and I was dying for him to get up LOL! K loved his wheelbarrow, he put all his presents in and and wheeled it around for the whole day .
K's speech has really picked up a notch in the past week and he's putting lots of sentences together, it's so adorable! Joel was reading a book he got for Christmas and K said "Where's my book? Where's my book gone?" and gave hand gestures. I burst out laughing and he strutted off thinking he was so funny. Today I was changing his nappy and he said "Mummy, my poo stinks". He's just the cutest little man, such a character with a huge sense of humour.
We are leaving on Wednesday for Inverloch and will be back on Saturday or Sunday. We'll have New Years there, but I will be sleeping through it LOL!
Kaz - Wow, not long until your little man arrives!!! Have you chosen a name for him yet? You make sure you follow orders and put your feet up!
Saffi - I hear you on the toys spread all over the house. The boys seriously got FAR too much stuff thanks to MIL, who bought two of everything!
Julia - Glad you had a great Christmas :). It must have been strange not having your family around, but you still had your own cute family :D. Thanks for your lovely comments about my kids . I love looking at your photos of Max on FB, he is such a little charmer!
Willow - Hope you had a great Christmas! You still haven't forwarded my your bank account details!! Send them to me when you get the chance :)
Amber - Hope you guys had a great Christmas too!
Mo - How did the girls go with Christmas at your place? I bet they got spoilt!!
Kellie - How are you going? Hope you've been buying lots of blue stuff! Have you picked out a name yet?
Tiff - Woohoo for Tiera being in undies!! What a big girl!!
