Kellie - YES...not with the waking early but the middle of the night wake up....Max usually wants to wee, have a drink or me to re-adjust his covers! Still waiting for his last 4 molars so wonder if that has anything to do with it.
In Perth with VERY VERY slow internet, so just a quick HI from me! Back in Singas on Sunday so will catch up Monday!
MEGGA tired after Perths MEGGA storm yesterday....My car got a beating in the hail...smashed window, mirrors and now covered in dents.....annoying considering it usually just sits around doing NOTHING! Oh well
Kodi had her 12 month check up yesterday & she is going well. She is now 8.2kg & 73cms, Still very little it's cute .
Took her back to the Dr's as she was still vomiting at least once a day & her poo's go from watery to soft.
We think she has an allergy/intolerance to dairy, Since she has been off dairy no vomiting & her poos aren't green & watery/soft anymore.
So she's on soy milk & yoghurt's now & all her snacks are dairy free or have low lactose in them.
I can't believe how much happier she is now as well, it's like having a brand new baby lol
Mo - sounds hopeful that you have identified K's tummy problems. Is there a history in the family? Julia - oh no about your car! The storms looked terrifying. Do you now have to organise getting your car fixed?
Nothing much happening here. DH is on leave so we have been having lunches out, going to the movies etc.
Not to dairy, but Dr thinks her tummy might just be really sensitive since she had that really nasty virus.
So in a few months we will try her on dairy again & she how she goes.
Sounds like you & your hubby are having a wonderful time together.
Jules sorry to hear about your car, will cost much to fix?
Girls keep coming on and meaning to post, but then get side tracked by kids before I get here! So here I am for a quick catch up before bed!
Julia - bugger about the car. I seen the storms on the news, similar to what Melbourne got. Makes me wonder how it all works when we get these storms out of the blue. How has your break been otherwise?
Mo - happy to hear things are going well for Kodi, not only is that great for her but you as well. Yay.
Kellie - last day of work tomorrow? Not that you are counting! Yay! So cute that T is telling her friends about the new bub!
Saffi - lunches and movies with your DH sounds great, half your luck, enjoy it whilst you can!
to everyone else! I am keeping up to date and reading what is going on, lurking! all going well here, just busy. kindy drop off and pick up makes things even busier, i will be a taxi service once they are all at school and playing sports ... i can see it now! better go, i need a semi early night. hopefully luke sleeps through until 4.30 again.
Anyone out there???? Can only speak for myself but I guess we are all really busy and not chatty at the moment.
kaz - yeah, I can see me becoming "Mum's Taxi" too. Have you got a car big enough to fit the kids, their friends, the sporting equipment, the shopping and the dogs? Mo - fingers crossed that's what it turns out to be. Kellie - is this your last week at work? Will you be going back at some stage? L has been pretty good with his sleeping. He mostly wakes at around 6am but is often happy to just lie on the floor reading his books until close to 7am. Mind you we have the baby who has no concept of decent waking times (yet). Julia - back in Singapore yet? Not long now and you will be making the final trip in preparation for the birth.
Hi to Trish, Willow, Nic, Amber, Tiff (anyone else??)
AFU - took the family to Underwater World on Saturday. Like most things he took a little while to get the idea, but once he did he loved it. He went through the observatory part 5 times with DH running to keep up with him. I was following a long way behind with the pram and M. DH took him to the souvenir shop so he could select a gift. Well he chose a pretty large stuffed crocodile (plush toy). I'd better remember where I put it in case I stumble on it in the middle of the night and give myself a heart attack.
Last week of leave Off to the dentist in an hour :0 Might try to do something nice this afternoon.
Anyway, clothes to be hung on the line. A women's work........
hi everyone
Saffi - finished last Friday, its so nice knowing I dont have to go tomorrow and Tahlia is still going to be in child care so I can catch up on some housework and sleep! Underwater world sounds like great fun!
Mo - how is K going now without the dairy in her diet?
Had my sizing scan the other day, bubs is about 3kgs already. Not sure how much they grown in the last weeks but I am guessing he'll probably be around the same as his sister if not bigger if I go to full term. And apparently he has a slightly larger than average head which I didnt want to hear. Seeing my ob this Thursday so I guess we'll discuss then
we just got home from the shops where we had our photo taken with the easter bunny. She was all keen on the photo cause she knew she was going to get a toy bunny and an egg right up until it was our turn when she clung on to me, so I am in the photo too... at least I can say her brother is in the photo too!
Less than 4 weeks to go for me... not that I am counting or anything!!!!
Kellie Kodi was around 3kg at the stage as well & was 8lbs born.
Kodi doing well, still chucking up every few days & still has watery.soft poos.
So i dunno back to the Dr tomorrow.
Maddi is giving us a tough time, so just having a rough few weeks.
Will start posting more once things get better here & i actually have something worth while posting
Saffi good luck going back to work next week & good luck at the dentist.
Kellie - they told me Luka had a big head and short legs as well, but he come out looking perfect! Sometimes I wonder if they know what they are on about?! 4 weeks to go, hopefully it goes quickly for you. I remember with Tay it did, probably cause Mia was only 17 months and I was busy! Luka went even quicker after 12 weeks for me.
Mo - glad you have some answers with Kodi. Must be a relief to have a happier and healthier child on your hands now!
Saffi - it has been really quiet in here I know. As for the car, yeah we have the family wagon, fine for the kids, dog, equipment but not the friends. Good excuse hey!
Trish - the girls really do love their brother. Wonder when the love and admiration for him will turn into fighting like the girls do with each other? They are so bad at the moment, I am at my wits end!
Julia - all settled back in singa's? Counting down to coming home for bubs arrival I bet, what kinda time frame is that?
to everyone else. Better go, wanted to make some mini quiches and muffins before we go to get the kids immunised today. Not looking forward to that!
Well K has to see a paed on May 7th so maybe we can some answers as to wat's going on with her.
M is doing well, Her & K get on some much better now. They are always outside playing together & always come back in covered in dirt lol
Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't been in for ages, I've been soooo busy. Business has been crazy and I'm struggling to keep up with everything. I have so much new stock and so little time to list it LOL!
Mo - Love your Alice in Wonderland avvy! Good luck with K at the paed, I hope you get some answers. Oh, and what's this "something that's worth posting"????? Spill girl! I hate suspense LOL!
Julia - Glad your gorgeous bub is growing nicely
Kaz - Hope the immunisations went OK the other day. I hate getting them done!
Kellie - Sounds like your little man will be a good size! Not long to go now, how exciting!!!
Saffi - How is M going in DC now? Hopefully she's all settled in. Good luck starting back at work next week!
Hi to everyone else!
We're going well here, although K, Alana and I all have colds atm. Not good timing for Easter! We're going away to Inverloch again, so hopefully we'll be a bit better by then. The weather is meant to be nice so I want to feel up for going to the beach!
K is such a cheeky man, he's getting a bit to smart for my liking LOL! This morning we had this conversation after I passed him an apple:
K - "It's yucky mum"
Me - "No it's not yucky".
K - "Yes it is" *drops apple on the floor*
Me - "Here, let me wash it, it's yucky now"
K - "No it's not"
Me - "You can't keep saying the opposite to me Kieran"
K - "Yes I can!"
By that stage I was speechless LOL! I was gobsmacked that he could come up with such a quick comeback .
Alana is going well, she's pulling herself up on things so she can stand up, eek! Joel is home (school hols here) and it's been a challenge keeping him entertained on top of doing all my usual stuff around the house. He's been pretty good though. Going away will keep him happy!
Well, better go and get everyone dressed! It's nice to sit around in the morning and not have to be running around getting ready for the school run!!
Trish K is so cheeky, Maddi's new thing is "But why".
Me- Maddi time to brush your teeth
Maddi- But Why?
Me- Because if you don't your teeth will go yucky
Maddi- but why?
How is this for a funny one? When I was helping T on the potty she said to me that boys have willies and girls have wedgies... No idea where that came from!
And the other day she told me that I make her happy... How sweet!
Hope everyone had a great easter & the little ones didn't eat too much choccie.
Everyone is doing well here, K had a little bit of choc yesterday & broke out in a rash later that night.
Not sure if it was Choc or a delayed reaction to her 12 month needles tho.
Maddi is doing really well, she has become a parrot & now we have to watch everything we say.
She's caught us out a few times but luckily she hasn't repeated it.
The girls did well for Easter, I hid all the choc last night & M has forgotten all about it today, so more choc for me Kodi got clothes & money and M got Clothes, Money, a DVD & Chocolate.
Kellie are you going in for an induction or you going to let nature do it's thing?
Mo - still havent decided.... I dont know what to do! I'm worried about having the induction and then having a horrid time, but I'm also worried about not making it to the hospital in time if I have a spontaneous labour! Also the organised person in me likes the thought of induction as it means I can organise Tahlia and all the other stuff a lot better
As Mo said, hope everyone had a great easter & the little ones (and the mummies) didn't eat too much chocolate!
