Still hanging in there mo, definitely over being pregnant at the moment! I think bub is still rather comfy so unless I go down the induction path, I don't think he'll be making an appearance any time soon!

M went to her first dance class yesterday & she loved it. She was unsure at first but by the end she was having a blast. We had to go out & buy her a uniform(can't believe how much the are) & she loved trying on the ballet slippers, thought she was such a big girl lol
Bit of drama this morning. We were at MG and L was playing in a sandbox, lost his balance and fell into a retaining wall, grazing his chin. Only when I looked at it could I see there was a cut which looked pretty bad so off to the Drs. Poor little boy was crying and crying. Anyway the Dr said it wasn't too bad and used some of that glue to put it seal it up. So my little boy is bruised and bloody. The nurse who looked after him has three boys was surprised he made it to 2 and a half without needing sutures. One thing I'm sure of it won't be the last time.

Thought I'd jump on quickly while Lewis is asleep, am enjoying my stay on hospital but missing tahlia heaps at the same time. Spoke to my ob this morning and it seems that I had an undiagnosed low lying placenta which is why my labour got stuck at 6cm and then ended in a caesar. I was very lucky that I didn't start bleeding cause who knows what would have happened
Anyway, hope everyone else is well. Pish- are u next?

Flynn had his first swimming lesson today...LOVED it He is such a cruisy baby...and I think he is getting teeth Myles is good jsut his usual monley self
Congrats Kellie! So glad nothing awful happened with the placenta! You'll be back to your girl in no time What does she think of her new little brother? Pishy should be next, then MEEEEE!!!
Mo - I have Max telling me I'm wrong about things. Tonight (whilst prolonging his bedtime with a million questions and requests) he told me I should go to bed too....what a monkey!
Off home tomorrow.....can't WAIT! Then I have to set up another baby room!!! I can't think straight at the moment so sorry if my little post is a bit airy fairy!

Seems the osteo has helped, he is still windy, but nowhere as bad as he was. We haven't had any inconsolable pain cries since we went and not sure if its a coincidence or not, but the real smiles have started too
Saffi - Same here...Max is still megga attached to his "num num" So much so that he has TWO he takes to bed. One for his gob and one to rub on his face! It sux in the night when he loses one! I plan on getting rid of it at Xmas time....going to tell him reinders love to eat them!
Been having a hard time with Max the last couple of days....MEGGA MEGGA tantrums....he keeps making me cry! I can't even talk about it
Oh, big hugs Julia. I went through the same issues with Joel when K was born. I wonder if any of you remember me posting that while I was bathing K, Joel went outside and threw a rock at the window and glass shattered over K and I? I was only just thinking of that a couple of days ago! I found it so hard in the beginning, Joel would act so naughty - kicking me in the legs while I b'fed K, banging the walls up the hallway while I was trying to settle K down for a nap, etc. He is not that kind of kid, so it was a huge shock and I found it really hard to cope with . It does get better, I promise. They just need some time to adjust to sharing mummy. You are doing a great job and things will start settling down soon .
Oh and Joel used to have THREE dummies LOL! He had one in his mouth, one to rub under his nose and one in his spare hand haha! Luckily K is happy with one dummy!

All is good with us, nothing very exciting to report! K is his usual cute self, he's right into playdough atm. He has such a great attention span and will sit for ages "creating" playdough things.
Joel is going well at school, I've been approached by two different mums who have said really lovely things about him . One said he is very friendly and went out of his way to look after her son on his first day of school (they just moved from O/S) and another (who does classroom help) said he is a sweet natured boy, really well behaved and a delight, awww, I am so proud of him! It's nice to hear positive feedback, I always seem to doubt myself as a mum.
Alana is just gorgeous, getting into everything and such a happy little thing. She smiles at anyone and we get a lot of comments when out and about. The school crossing man loves her because she gives him a smile every morning! She also smiles to greet all my customers which is great for business LOL!
We're most likely going to go on our trip to WA in September/October after all. Alana is getting better in the car so we think we might go while DH still has a job! The automotive industry is so dicey in Australia, we don't know how much longer until it all moves O/S. He has a company car and the company pays for fuel, so we may as well use it while we can!!
Anyway, I'd better go and wake some sleepy boys up to get them ready for the school run. Hope everyone is well!
My poor little girl has her 1st black eye :-(. At dancing last Thursday, before the class even started she ran full pelt at the shelf where they put their shoes and didn't slow down. Result = a swollen black eye which is now a gross shade of yellow. It doesn't seem to worry her though, so that's good I guess, I still feel terrible looking at it though!

Gosh it has been ages since I logged on to bb ... slack I know. I am so addicted to Family Feud on facebook these days and it is about all I get time to do. Luka is keeping me on my toes. He has to be the most sooky and clingy of all of my three kids at this stage and has taken a real disliking to my MIL. Every time she tried to hold him or talk to him he starts by dropping his lip and then the inconsolible crying starts! It seems to be isolated to her, he is fine with FIL and friends, so not sure what the go is? She is really devo about it and says what have I dont? Why does he hate me? I have tried telling her it is a stage and I am sure if we perservere he will come around ... I HOPE!
As for the girls they are both fine. Mia has such a big attitude since starting kinder and it is not all good. The answering back and telling us she doesn't love us when she doesn't get what she wants is never great! Tay is going well, she has been pretty flat since getting tonsilitis this first time and last night we looked in her mouth and sure enough, her tonsils are all swollen again. Looks like we are going to have to make that trip to the ENT after all. I was hoping to avoid it as I just cannot imagine my baby having an operation, don't deal with that kind of stuff well.
So girls we have been talking the big V in this house hold the past couple of days. Has anyone's hubby who has finished having kids had one? We have come to the decision that 3 kids is plenty for us, we are so busy and they haven't even started sports etc. Imagine then?! I also don't think my poor old body could handle another pregnancy, everything kind of went wrong with my pregnancy with Luka and the birth was not great either that I think we would just be pushing the boundaries. So we want to do something so there are no little accidents! If anyone has any info like do you go on a waiting list being a public patient? How long does the guy have off work? Is it a day procedure? That would be helpful.
Sorry for no personals, but I have read everything I have missed. It is reassuring to know that we are or have or are going through the same things, like trying to lose the dummy, siblings adjusting to new additions and toilet training. We will all get there, little input about the dummy, never had a bigger dummy fan than Mia and she went cold turkey. Never thought it would happen, but once they come around to the idea and are happy to throw it in the bin, you know you are on the right tracks. I have no advice on toilet training, Tay is not interested in the least, will sit on the potty and say she has done a wee and hasn't and then wee her pants 5 minutes later ... I guess she will tell me when she is ready! We have had pretty smooth sailing with my kids adjusting to Luka, only real issues is Tay being a bit on the rough side with him! That is her nature though, she is my full on girl I think!
Anyway better go. Heading out to a friends today and need to shower and get organised. Hope you are all well x
Kaz - With the tonsils....as a kid who suffered from constant tonsilitis I say get to the ENT and see what can be done. Tonsilitis is the absolute pitts and I can bet that if Tay had them removed she would be a totally different kid. One of my mothers group friends had her little boys taken out and he's been so much better ever since...in more ways than one.
Oh and the BIG V....My Dad had it done YEARS ago, and I think it was a day procedure. I dont' even recall him having time off work because of it (but he is a workaholic). I'll be pushing DH into getting it done, but not 100% sure where future baby making is at at the moment! I figure it's their turn after we have had the pill, made and raised babies for years and years!
