Rebecca - I was only thinking about you the other day. I'm sorry to hear that too. Please, please, please come in and chat to ues whenever you can. You're not the only one with a tantruming toddler. Not a good time for you to be dealing with it at the moment.
[B]Trish - K will TT in his own time. A friend's DD refused to TT for ages and then oneday asked to be put in undies and within 2 weeks is practically TTed. I think it is quicker if they are older. Shame K isn't copying Joel in the TT and dummy stakes.
    GL for K's appointment.

Yay for the weekend! Nothing planned except the usual housework and shopping. Bought heaps of clothes for the kids at the Target sale yesterday so I need to get them all washed and put away their summer clothes. M is growing so fast.

    Have a good weekend everyone!

Bumping us back to page 1

Rebecca i'm so sorry We are all here for you if you want to chat.

Trish how did K's appt go?

Took the girls to the Zoo on Sat, M loved it, she had to walk the entire time because only babies use the pram. She did very well considering all the walking.
Kodi loved the playground & the Seals best, while M enjoyed the Elephants & Butterflies

    Hope everyone is well.

    Hi everyone!

Mo - K's appointment went well, thanks for asking . He doesn't need to go back for 12 months now. The zoo trip sounds like it was a hit!

Saffi - Joel wasn't full TT'd until he had just turned 3, so I'm hoping K will be similar. I want him to go to 3 year old kinder without worrying about it!

Rebecca - How are you going?

    Hi to everyone!

Poor Joel is home sick today (he was yesterday too). He has an upper chest and throat infection and croup, the poor thing . I could hear his awful breathing all night through our bedroom wall. He has a temperature which made him vomit when he stood up this morning. I hope he feels better soon! Hopefully K & Miss A manage to escape it.

K's legs hadn't really changed from last visit to the RCH, but the Dr wasn't worried. He still runs funny, but I think it's cute LOL! He can count to ten now, although sometimes he leaves out the number 5 haha! He's also discovered he can nag about watching DVD's and constantly wants to watch Lazy Town and Toy Story. His latest obsession is dinosaurs. It's nice to have a child into "things"! Joel was never into toys, he'd prefer to be outside climbing trees or the back fence to have a chat with the neighbours .

Better run, K wants me to shut the front gates so he can play outside. He is in my face nagging me as I type this LOL!

It feels nice to be home in the middle of the day. Why?? Because M was sent home from daycare with a runny nappy. Something is going around daycare cos L was sent home on Monday with vomitting. DH took the day off then so its my turn today. M seems to be fine now.

Mo - sounds like the girls had a great time at the zoo. L is the same that he doesn/'t want to sit in the pram. Problem is he walks so slowly and then runs off. DH is usually in charge of him whenever we go anywhere as I have control of M and the pram.
Trish - good news about K's legs. I'm sure with time it will be something that he will grow out of.
Julia - how are you going? Read in another thread your DH is off to Paris soon after the birth. I'd be upset too, more because I would want to go too. LOL While its not the same at least you will have your family around you. Just make sure he brings you back a really expensive present (maybe something from Chanel or Dior???). Look forward to reading your BA.
Hi to all the other mummies.

Nothing much happening with us. Anyway should try to do something productive with my unexpected free time. Come on everyone! Come and say hello!

Saffi I want a diamond ring!!!!! LOL! No...I'm not really materialistic I promise!

Trish Poor J-man with all those ailments! I hope he gets better soon and that the other kidlets manage to bypass it.

Mo I'm going to take Max to the zoo next week once DH is back.....gotta get this baby out but don't want to do anything too strenuous (like walking the zoo) till after Friday

Pram & walking - OMG I WISH max would walk! If he's not in the pram, he wants to be carried around....16kg of toddler isn't really ideal to carry around for long periods! He's such a slacker! Still my Relaxy Maxy! (or should i say slacky Maxy!)

LOL sounds like he will always be Relaxy Maxy, Jules you should be happy he still sits in the pram. It's such a PITA when M wants to walk everywhere, so much harder going shopping by myself.
Have a great time at the Zoo

Saffi hope M doesn't get sick again & stays healthy, enjoy your free time.

Trish greats news about K & hope Joel feels better soon poor little guy.

Mo - M wasn't sick at all. They just panicked when she did her explosive poo and called me to come and get her. She often does these so we are not concerned about them (except how to get the soiled clothes off her). There was something going around the centre so I can understand why they need to be cautious.
Julia - and a pair of diamond earrings! Relaxy Maxy! I think he'll always be known as that, at least around here.

Another weekend is here YAY! Going to buy a pair of slippers for L today as he is complaining that his feet are cold. Last winter we bought 2 pairs and he refused to wear either of them. What a difference a year makes.

Anyway, kids are dressed and ready for mischief so I better throw myself in the shower. Have a good weekend everyone.

    hi everyone
Tahlia has her days when she wants to go in the pram, and then other days that she wants to walk, so she is quite hard to figure out!

Trish - hope Joel is feeling better and hasnt passed it on to anyone else!

Julia - not long now, looking forward to seeing your BA!

AFU - Tahlia had her 1st dancing lesson on Thursday, at first she was shy and wouldnt do much, but about 15 minutes in she forgot about the shyness and participated... it was so cute! We had Mr L's 4 week check and my boofa is already over 5kg. He has put on 985grams in 2 weeks! No wonder the poor little thing has wind, he has a full belly all the time! He is in the 95th percentile for weight now. Now i just have to figure out how to get him to sleep for longer, he is doing about 5 hours overnight which the nurse tells me is good, but I thought Tahlia was going longer than that... I probably just forget!

Kellie sounds like L is doing great, I wish K would sleep better during the night.
Feels like we are up every few hours with her at the moment
T sounds just like M, Now M can't wait to get there & loves putting on all her dance gear.

Saffi last year M wouldn't wear a beanie or gloves. This year she always wants to wear them lol.

Rebecca - I hope things work out for you and that you have lots of love and support around you from family and friends ... you know we are all here if you need to chat x

Mo - I hear the zoo is really great now with the new seal pool! We are going to take the girls there soon to see them and also visit Marley, she looks soo sooo soooo cute!

Trish - Been reading your updates on facebook and see your family sound like us at the moment ... all sick! We are all fighting the flu, off to the gp this afternoon just to check ears and throats as the girls are getting high temps constantly! Hope you get well soon x

Amber - Also been reading your updates about your birthday celebrations, sounds like you have a couple of friends keen to organise you something ... LET THEM! You deserve to be spoilt when it is you normally spoiling everyone else. Also love the pics of Flynn's naming day, he looks a lot like his daddy doesn't he?!

Julia - How are you hanging in there and did you get to clean the lint out of your belly button? Cracked up when I read that one!

Kellie - Dance classes sound so cute, I am still getting Mia into it but just have not got motivated and done much about it. Slack I know. L sounds like he is doing great, 5 hour blocks are great at this stage! I think we expect more of them because we 'forget' what the others were like when they were newborns maybe?!

Saffi - We are having slipper issues as well, our girls feet and hands are like iceblocks, but Mia is happy to wear slippers and Tay is not so happy. If only they knew what was good for them hey!

:HELLO: to everyone else I have missed!

All ok here apart from battling the flu. Not sure if any of you read my post on facebook but Luka is thriving at 4 months ... 8.055kgs and 64.5cms long. She said he is above average for everything but in proportion which is good. Has anyone had trouble with their babies having flat heads from favouring one side? Never did with the girls but Luka has got a significant flat head on once side. Any tips?

Hope everyone is well ... better go and organise lunch for the munchkins x

Breaking news..... L gave up the dummy tonight! Its been looking pretty gross for a while and we held off replacing it as we wanted to wean him off it. After his bath I told him the dummy was sick and that it would have to be thrown out. We had a discussion about it and next thing I know he's putting it in the bin. I kept telling him once it goes in the bin - its gone. I have actually retrieved it from the bin and hidden it just in case he has a melt down. He's gone to sleep without it - so here's hoping its the end of the dummy. Still has his binky (stuffed toy). No plans to get rid of them (yet.....).

Saffi that is great news, we are slowly trying to get M off her meme(dummy) now we are only giving it to her when she sleeps or is laying down.

Both girls are doing really well, Maddi NEVER stops talking lol & Kodi is coming up with new words and she LOVES Britney Spears every time one of songs come on she'll rush into the room & start dancing it's the cutest thing.
Other news i think we MAY start to TTC #3 once AF finally returns, I'm getting some painful cramping so i'm hoping she turns up soon

    Hope everyone is well

Saffi - Great to hear the dummy has gone! Yay. I might start trying to get Tay to get rid of hers soon, have not been bothered by it but considering she is turning 3 in October I probably should!

Mo - Exciting about TTC ... good luck and I hope AF is just around the corner so that you guys can get down to business ... lol.

    hi everyone
Saffi - woo hoo on losing the dummy!

Mo - how exciting that you are going to TTC #3 soon! Fingers crossed AF returns soon!

AFM - Tahlia is going well, still wearing a nappy overnight, but the last week or so, they have been pretty much dry in the morning. I'm too scared to get rid of them though, cause I really cant be bothered changing sheets in the middle of the night if she has an accident! She too is talking lots, everyday she surprises me with what she comes out with.
I took Lewis to the osteopath this morning for his wind issues, and I am crossing my fingers, but at this stage I think it has helped slightly. His first feed after we got home, he actually came off himself after about 5 minutes, so I sat him up and he did a massive burp, this happened 2 more times during the feed. Usually he'll keep drinking until he is completely full. He has now been asleep since about 4, I cant remember the last time he slept this well during the day, he usually wakes up squirming and crying in pain. She wants to see us again next week, so I'm hoping he'll be even better then. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

    Hi to everyone else!
