    Hi ladies

Been pretty busy like everyone else. It gets to the end of the day and I am ready to crash. I think most of us would be like that.

So what's been happening??? The kids are doing really well. L is such a little boy now. He talks so much and comes out with some really cute (as well as smart). He has been doing some stuttering which we were worried about, but he seems to be over it now.

M is doing well too. She is such a little chubba. Many of her clothes are size 3!!!

Both M and L received their graduation certificates to go into the next room at daycare from early next year. Bit sad that my little girl won't be in the nursery anymore. L is going into Kindy.

Mo - how are the wedding prep's going?
Amber - where are you building?
Julia - have you moved yet? Looks very cold over in the UK at the moment. You're going to be in for a big shock coming from the heat and humidity of Singapore.
Trish - are you around? I really enjoyed reading your holiday blog. You made a trip like that with 3 kids in tow sound really easy - although I'm sure it wasn't.

As sad as it sounds, I don't have any other news. Life is pretty uneventful.

    Hope everyone is well.

Hi everyone! Sorry I've been so slack and not posting in here! Life is so hectic right now, but I guess it is for everyone!

We had a wonderful time on our trip, thanks so much to everyone for reading my blog! We went away this weekend just gone to Wilson's Prom and it was so awesome - perfect weather and the water was warm. We definitely have the camping bug!

K is going really well, he's all geared up to start 3 year old kinder in February. Santa will be giving him a new backpack and lunchbox for kinder . He's a gorgeous little man, a bit more reserved than Joel (thank goodness haha!), but he is bright and happy. He knows how to throw a good tanty at times, but he's pretty easy to deal with.

Joel is almost finished at his first year of school . I'm scared of how fast it has gone!! He's done really well though, it's amazing that he can now read. Prep teachers do such a great job!

Alana is just a delight. So happy and fun . She is such a good talker at 15 months, it freaks me out! The other day she got stuck in a bath ring I had on my shop floor (I'd just bought it from someone) and she said, "Mum, I'm duck [stuck]!" So funny! She seems to "get" words. Joel handed her an empty chip packet and without prompting she showed me and said "Empty!". The boys weren't saying anything like that at her age, it must be a girl thing - we love to chat! She really does amaze me, I won't go on, I'm raving like a proud mum hahaha!

Is anyone going away over Christmas? We're going away on Boxing day to a caravan park at Phillip Island for 6 days, I hope the weather is good!

I'd better run, I have so much washing and unpacking to do - yuck!

    Hope you're all well

    Hey everyone

Mo So glad you could make it to Sydney. Hope everything went OK with your family.
Saffi No, we haven't moved yet. Still stuck in Perth (Limboland) until our visas are sorted. We have been away from DH for a while now and I'm really starting to feel it. He's been working like an absolute DOG while we haven't been around. I sure hope that his work doesn't think that is how it will continue when we finally get there. We are supposed to be heading off by the end of the year....but I don't think it will happen somehow. As much as I love it in Perth....I just want to start life again as a family. It's tough being here and being in Mums place. At the moment all I really want is to go back to my little house, and have things go back to how they were before we left to go to Singapore!.....but with the same opportunities! Wishful thinking or what!
Amber How good was the photography workshop! I loved it. I really hope that I can learn more and more and be a kids photographer in Jersey!
    Trish I love your family!!

AFM - Things are just ticking along....waiting for visas, waiting to start 'life' again, I just want to move on. I miss DH at the moment. I spoke to him yesterday and he is sad. He's been working weekends and till all hours trying to get things sorted so when we get there he doesn't have to work so hard. He loves it though....so it's a double edged sword. He is so much like my Dad! Maxy has been good. We have an awesome advent calendar we pull out for Christmas, and IF he's been good during the day, when he wakes up in the morning, Father Christmas comes while he is sleeping and gives him a treat. If he's been REALLY good, he gets two things, but only ONE if he's been a bit feral. Poor little guy obviously feels the same as all of us. He misses Daddy (always asks for him when he's in a 'mood')...and he thrives in stability...which is just NOT happening at the moment. Saffi, funny you say...Max stutters too sometimes....mainly when he just wants to say so much and his brain is working faster than his mouth!

Darcie is awesome! She is so vocal (read: scream talking!) and has such charisma! Different to Relaxxy! I think she is going to talk a lot too! Like Alana perhaps! She always says 'MumMUMmum mum' when she sees me...don't know if it's on purpose or not, but I'm going to say it is!

Well that is it from me for now....I'm off to get my nails done this morning and have to get ready!

Hope you are all well...I think of you always

Mo - Kieran has two sessions a week. One is 2 hours, the other 2.5 hours. He's doing the same session Joel did, it fits in nicely with our week . 3 hour sessions would be great though!

Julia - You poor thing being in limbo, I hope things start working out really quickly! Where are you moving to this time? I know you've mentioned it, but I completely forget . Darcy sounds like such a cutie! Your two are just so gorgeous

Mo - sorry to hear about the wedding. You definitely don't need the stress right now.
Trish - sounds like Alana is a chatterbox like her Mum (hehe). M only says a few real words but she is chatting all the time. She is really wanting to communicate. She even tells people off. She knows what you are saying to her too like when I ask her if she's done a poo she nods.
Yay, for going on a short break over Xmas. I am desperate to go away somewhere. Hopefully we will go on a real holiday mid next year. We have guests visiting over Xmas which will be nice.
Julia - hope your visas come through soon. At least the longer it takes to come through the more chance the cold snap will have passed.

Cute story. When we went to pick up the kids from DC yesterday, all the staff were preparing for the Preschool Graduation ceremony. The graduates actually wore little black academic gowns and mortarboards (hats), were presented with diplomas and also have class t-shirt with all their names on it. I got a little bit emotional looking at them all getting ready. Only a few years and L will be "graduating"!

    Hi all.
Not sure if any of you remember me. It has been about 12 months since posting. Life has been crazy!

Can't believe our little people are 3 already. Seems like yesterday we were all posting many times a day just trying to survive the first few weeks of life with them. DS is getting ready to start preschool in the new year and we are looking forward to it too. He is getting so bored at home and needs some more socializing. I am no longer working (haven't for about 18 months now) so the kiddies are stuck with me 24/7.

I'm looking forward to reading all about what your little ones have been up to.

Hi alz - of course I remember you. We were pg with #2 at the same time. I don't recall if you were still posting in the bellybuddies when you delivered but see you had a little girl. I can't believe that our boys are 3 and our girls are 16 months.

Thanks for the welcome back. Saffi I don't think I was till posting when I had my angel but I was posting on the baby buddies for her. She was born in July so probably a different group to you.

We are having a great day today. Ethan is doing some great swimming at his swim lessons at the moment. I was gushing like the proud Mummy that I am. He was also well behaved at the shops and the library which is something new. Now here's hoping that he will fall asleep this arvo as I am pretty tired.

Hope everyone had a great Christmas & New years.

AFU the girls did great with presents, they both got so many toys & clothes.
They got a heap of DVD's Maddi has made us watch Toy story & Beauty and the beast countless times lol & they both got a few leap frog toys, Kodi loves her Scout Dog, It goes everyone with her & she loves how it says her name.
Maddi loves her Dorothy dinosaur toy & they got this cool Cow milkshake maker & more clothes of course.
They toy room is full of toys again, i'm contemplating doing another clean out of toys.
Feeling pretty sad lately, It's really start to hit home that i'll never see my Mum again It's so hard...

    Mo -

Our kids did pretty good with the toys too. The major gift was a 6 in 1 swing set. Today has been the first day dry enough for DH and FIL to put it together.

I have started to do a clean out of all the baby toys too since my 2 have grown out of them and there won't be any more little ones coming along. I'm thinking I should try to sell them on ebay and see how much I can get, but probably will just donate them to a charity shop.

I have watched Toy Story 3 so many times now. Confession time - I cried at the end of the movie where Andy gives away all his toys and goes to college.

Only tomorrow left of my mini break before I go back to work At least it will only be a 3 day working week.

    Hey all

    Happy New Year

Mo - It will be OK....I know that sounds so cheesy, but your Mum is always with you. It's OK to be Sad xx

I have had to watch Toy Story 1, 2 and 3 but have never watched any of them the whole way through. Max doesn't have the greatest attention span!

We are still living in Limboland....waiting, waiting, waiting.....over it...can you tell!!

    xx
