Hi all
Been a dirty rotten lurker lately. Nothing much happening with me so not much to say.
Nic - congratulations on your pregnancy. Fingers crossed that you have a little pink bundle on board this time. Best wishes for a H&H pregnancy.
Mo - good news that Bambi has got herself into position. Lets hope she stays there now and that she gets close to term.
AFU - its M's 2nd birthday today. She has had 3 parties, one with my MG, one at daycare as she shares her b'day with 2 other kids in her room, and one at home tonight. She is a very happy girl as she got a Dora doll - everything is Dora at the moment. Mo, I recall that Maddi was the same, do they get over it? MIL made a cupcake birthday cake (actually over a dozen cupcakes all piled together). We're going to have cupcakes for weeks to come with the left overs. Can't believe my little girl is now 2, where has the last year gone???
I'm selling off a heap of the kids nursery furniture and hopefully some of their baby clothes. A lady at work who is pregnant is buying a lot of things we have grown out of. I am happy that they will be given a third life and another little one will be able to use the things that my babies used. So, I guess there will be no more babies here - tho we can always go out and buy more IF a surprise baby does happen to appear.
Anyway, hope everyone is well and your little ones are happy and being nice to their mummies.

Maddi is over Dora but into Barbie & anything Disney Princess lol
Kodi likes Dora but nowhere near as much as Maddi did.
Happy Birthday for yesterday for M :D
Makes me sad but after this Bambi is here, Phil will be getting the snip so i know there wont be anymore for us.

I got to meet Miss P finally & she is so much like Lu and so cute & tiny!
L & M got on great together and i can't believe how much Lu has grown. She is the same height as Maddi now, they looked so cute walking while holding each others hands.
Kodi loved Lu as well, all you call was her calling LuLu, Lulu every 2 minutes lol
Sas soooo cute she spent most of the time hoping around Healesville like a Kangaroo or hugging the metal Kangaroos lol

Hey
Happy birthday to M for a couple of days ago saff! Time flies.... I can't believe Darcie is already on her way to two! It's so weird!
Yay mo... You're lucky you get to hang out with ange! I haven't seen a fresh new baby since Darcie was fresh and new, so im a bit jealous lol! I have two good friends back home due October too and I'm so sad I won't see them (one is having twins!). If I don't get some new baby smell into me I might want another! Eeeeek!
Nic, trish, amber, ange- how are you all going?
Xxxx

*brushes off all the cobwebs*
lol Jules are guys done with having babies or just putting it on hold for a while?
Nothing happening here, can't decide if time is going fast or slow.
Seems i've gotten to 33wks pretty quickly but now it kinda feels like it's dragging on, I wanna meet her & see who she looks likes, but i've told her she has to stay put till at least the 18th of Sept.

*blows off dust Mo missed*
Wow @ being 33 weeks!!! To me your pregnancy has flown!
Hi Julia and Saffi! :hello:
All is good here, just trying to shake this nasty cold I've had for 2 weeks now, so annoying! I went to the BB meet up last Saturday night and got to meet JM's gorgeous little Miss P :D. She's SOOOOOOOOOO cute! It was a great night too :D
My kids are all going well. K is LOVING kinder still, he gets so excited when he knows he's going. He has two really good friends there which is so sweet :). Alana will be two next week - eek! She is so grown up, she's like having a 7 year old in a tiny body LOL! She has fantastic speech for her age and she's such a girl. I told her that her hair was in her eyes the other day and she replied with "Yes, I know." and pushed it out of her eyes .
AFM, I am brewing up a new project and it's very exciting! No, I'm not pregnant haha! I'm about to take on another business, but I have to keep it quiet until the deal is signed. Hopefully this will happen late this week or early next week. Then I can spill what it is!! So :shhh: in the meantime ;)
Hope you are all well!

P & I are getting married in just over 2 weeks.
So unless Bambi comes early it WILL happen this time.
We've only invited 8 people, so no one else knows it's happening which is how i want to keep it.
Trish how exciting & Maddi loves kinder as well. It will be so much better next year when it doesn't interfere with Playgroup day.

Mo.... I'm not sure about having a third. Dh goes away so much, I have mum (luckily) but it's not the same. I wouldn't want another while still o/s.... And max, well he's already told me he doesn't want anymore lol. Tonight he said he wished he didn't have a sister..... After she ripped a book I was about to post to a friend (reading it before it left!)....
Cant believe your 33 weeks already! My two friends IRL are both the same, but my friend with twins just had her boys! Keep baking Bambi! How are you going with name choices now?
Trish, can't wait to hear if your new adventure! And wow! Can't believe Alana is 2 already! I think Darcie will be a megga chatterbox too.... Getting into practice for womanhood!
Afm nothing much happening. Dh is going away to china tomorrow for a week. Maxy hates it when he goes away.
Jersey is still in shock over the murder of those 6 people in St helier (where I also live). It's such a tiny place, and things like this just don't happen here. I think they need to realize that jersey isn't immune to things like this, and although tragic.... It's REAL!
Oh, and relaxy fell down the stairs today. So scary! He was carrying his drum kit stool and slipped! Not a fun moment!
That's it for now xxxx

Wow Mo, congratulations!!! Have you got a dress yet? How exciting!! I hope you have someone to take photos!
Julia - How scary about that murder :o. Bummer your DH has to go to China tomorrow. My DH is going to Thailand next week for a week, he leaves on Alana's birthday :(. But it's better than leaving on Monday, then he would have missed both of our birthdays!
I just got a new smartphone this morning, I've never had one before so I don't know what I'm doing haha! It arrived by courier at 8am - there go today's housework plans .
Have a great day all :D

My friend had boy/girl twins 3 months ago & the girl was/is so teeny.
When u put them together you wouldn't think they were twins with the size difference it looks funny lol
Jules no luck with the names, but as long as i have a short list i'm happy to wait & see what she looks like before naming her.
Scary about the murders, but your right it happens every where & it's very real.
Yea Trish i have a black maxi dress with flowers on the bottom & top, white made me look huge & i was so not gonna wear something that made me look & feel fatter lol
The girls have peach coloured tops to match the flowers on my dress, Still trying to track down skirts to match but not having any luck, so looks like they may need to wear leggings with it.
-
Wow Mo! Is there any reason for the timing of the wedding or just getting it out of the way before B arrives? Do you know anyone who sews? If you can find some material that matches someone could make some skirts for you. Maybe the girls could wear black skirts? Can't wait to see the photos.
A friend of mine had boy/girl twins and it was and still is the opposite the girl is much bigger than the boy.
Jules - when do you think you'll be relocating back to this hemisphere?
Trish - A sounds so advanced in her speech. M babbles a lot with a lot of words thrown in. She does copy a lot of words tho so I guess she's just picking up language at the moment. L is the talker. I spent a couple of hours with him on my own this afternoon and he talked practically non stop. It is so draining having to answer questions all the time, especially for an introvert like me.
So excited, I have next week off work. The kids will be at DC and DH at work so I will have the whole house to myself to do whatever I want. I expect that I'll be doing ironing and cleaning and other house stuff, but I won't have to watch Dora constantly or referee disputes between the kids. Can't wait!
-
Go mo! Can't wait to see photos :) I was 'very' pregnant with max when dh and I got married! I was so puffy and gross! I think maybe I'll reenact out wedding one day so I can look better! Lol!
Saffi - not sure when we'll return to the southern hemisphere.... But if dh's work doesn't start showing some appreciation, it will be sooner rather than later!
He is away again ATM and it's the weekend.... :(
All the talking can be exhausting hey..... Max is full of attitude too so even more tiring!!

I wouldn't hold my breath for photo's ladies, I may post some of the girls tho ;)
We pretty much decided to get the girls leggings as you can't trust Melbourne weather & the last thing i want is for anyone to get sick just before Bambi arrives.
Saffi no real reason, we decided to do it before Bambi arrives, besides it gives us a good reason not to over spend & keep it small.

How are all the little ones going with learning to write?
Maddi is so keen to learn, so far she can write 1-10, her name, Mummy, Daddy, Bambi & Kodi, Still struggles with her K's but she is getting there.
We have to spell it out but still i think it's a good start.
-
Max loves to write, and reads numbers and letters all over the place!
No photos mo? C'moooonnnnnnn!!!!

No writing here. They are doing letter and number recognition at DC and we practice that a lot but haven't attempted writing. I have noticed that M has better penmanship than L and she's only 2. She holds the pen correctly where L is still very clumsy. I have always noticed boys have worse handwriting than girls (generalising I know), but I am wondering if handwriting ability is a genetic "skill"??????
-
I think it's coz boys are better at gross motor skills, and girls fine motor skills. D also can hold a pen better than M..... at 15 months!
