Bambi's coming home outfit is finally complete!
I picked up her pinny & nappy, her beanie is finished & just waiting to be posted.
Now all i need is her but i'm happy to wait a few more weeks till she is full termed baked :D

Yay Mo, how exciting!!! Not long to go now :D. And not long until you're a married woman!!!

Just a quick post, sorry I've been MIA lately, I've been FLAT out! DH has been away in Thailand for the last week (he's home now yay!) and the boys and I all got a tummy bug over the weekend which wasn't much fun when you're on your own. We're all good now. My other exciting news is that I'm about to take over another business!!! I'd better not share on here what it is in case it's against the rules (you'd think I'd know wouldn't you :lol:), so if you want to know what it is PM me and I can share. It's a well known baby product that I will be distributing ;). So exciting, but getting everything organised is making me insanely busy.

I'm taking K the Royal Children's Hospital this morning to see a speech pathologist who will check him out. The speech therapist I took K to referred us there just to check his mouth, etc. out.

Tell us how you go with k and speech.... Maxy still not pronouncing 'c' 'k' sounds.... Not sure of that is something to worry about or if it will get better over time.

I have to call maxys Kindy (nursery) Tomoz to find out his days for Kindy!! Eeeek! I can't believe it's happening! Hope he'll be ok.... He's not very good in social situations.... But hope this will boost his confidence!

All went well at the RCH, they couldn't detect any abnomalities in his mouth or soft palate. The did pick up on his nasal sounding voice and that he is not pronouncing some sounds correctly. They recommended taking him to an ENT see if his adenoids might be causing the nasal sound in his voice. They also recommended ongoing speech therapy to help with his pronunciation.

Hi everyone - how are we all doing?

Nothing much happening here. I've come down with a bit of a cold. Not too bad, but feeling yucky and all stuffed up. Considering this is my first cold all year I'm pretty lucky to just be getting one now.

Finally booked L into swimming lessons. He starts at the beginning of October. He'll be in the Nippers class (next one after the babies class) but I am confident given his age that he will quickly progress to where most kids of his age who have had lessons are. Going to hold off sending M to lessons until she is a little bit older. It's good timing with summer coming and hopefully spending time in the grandparents' pool.

Better be off and get the kids into bed.

Not even close Saffi, i thought we had a name but now i'm not sure i want to use it as it's becoming popular.
I'm hoping once she is born i'll just look at her know but i'll guess we will have to wait & see :)
Married life is going well, considering nothing has really changed lol
Yes i'm over it, i'm 37wks now so she can come out anytime, I can feel that my UC is going to flare soon & my body just isn't coping well at the moment.
I keep telling myself it's 4 weeks at the most, i can survive that long if i really have to :)

I'm sure L will love swimming classes :D

Nothing much happening here, getting closer to meeting my little girl & i can't wait!
Maddi had her birthday party last Sat & she had a great time, we actually had 2 for her 1 at playgroup & 1 at home for family & close friends.
She had a ball & got a heap of presents so she was thrilled.
I'm glad i did it a week early now i can spend my last 2 or 3 weeks relaxing & not having to worry about making sure i have enough of everything etc...

Amber & Trish seeing as i have your mobile numbers i'll make sure i txt you after Bambi is born :D

Hi Mo! Sorry I haven't been posting, I'm absolutely flat out atm! Stock arrives this arvo and I will be all ready to go!!! I've had 4 orders already so I can tell I'm going to be very busy :o.

Glad Maddi had fun at her parties :D. Not long until you pop now, I can't wait to hear the news!! Is someone doing your BA? If not, I'm happy to do it for you. Definitely text me with your news!!

Hi to everyone, I'd better run. I've got three kids home, Joel has tonsillitis :(. He went back to school for the first time this week this morning, but only made it to lunchtime before the school rang me to come pick him up. He's crashed out on the couch now. I thought he would be fine at school, he was good yesterday and this morning at home, but it was obviously too much for him.

Mo - you must have had a sixth sense that Bambi would come early (so got hitched and M's birthday out of the way). Congratulations again BTW.
Trish - oh no for Joel. Touchwood - my kids have been really healthy lately. Good to hear that your business is doing so well.

Need to start thinking about L's birthday. He is supposed to have a party this year (we do alternate years with M having her party the other year). Given that it is on our MG day and all his little friends are from MG I might just do something a bit more special than our usual morning tea. What is everyone else planning? Can't believe he is nearly 4. He is such a preschooler now.

Anyway, its getting late and need to get my beauty sleep (big time LOL).

Yep Bambi is here but still no name.
Had a very quick & intense labour, Bambi had the cord wrapped tightly around her neck & came out blue and not crying.
Worse moment ever, took everything i had & more to not keep pushing when all my body wanted to do was push.
Also lost around 1.5 litres of blood & almost ended up in surgery but thankfully my loss started to slow.
Feeling very sore & my tummy is all bruised & swollen from the PPH.
We are both good now tho & that is all that matters.
We aren't going back for anymore, this labour was so hard on my body & i don't think i'd cope well with another birth like this.

Wow Mo, how traumatic. I'm glad to hear that you are both ok. But it must have been so scary to be told Bambi was blue and the cord around her neck. Anyway, rest up as much as you can.

I reckon you should stick with Bambi for a name - its cute!
