Hey girls! New thread. So Melbourne ladies i am thinking of coming for a visit......it might just be Flynn and I so need to sus out good parts to stay any ideas?
D'oh! I just replied to the last thread and when I hit submit it was closed!
Big hugs for Mo and Amber .
Amber - Thank you so much for the thoughtful text the other night . I was so touched that you thought of me. I haven't been able to message you yet, I want to wait until I can type without crying! Woohoo for coming to Melbourne! I know of a good lounge room here in Forest Hill LOL! Otherwise, stay in the CBD if you can, it's central to everything. When are you coming?
Mo - Amber and I aren't going to Sydney any more either, and neither is Willow. I have to go to a wedding in Sydney in May so it will be too expensive to go twice.
Kaz - Glad you guys are well . That's awesome that you are helping the flood victims
Trish it will very expensive flying to Syd twice & paying for accom & activites.
I'm hoping we can get some cheap flights if we fly up in Nov so it wont cost us a fortune.
I can't believe you all missed either. The March thread picked it up before I even posted lol
Jules how cute is that, I'm loving most of the things that come out Maddi mouth.
Maddi was cute today I'll post more about it tomorrow when I'm on the comp
Sorry to have completely missed the obvious Mo haha! Congrats again . K has a kind of orientation day on Friday for kinder. He had one last year, but this Friday is more of an info session for the parents while the kids play. He's so excited to be going, but I'm not sure what he'll be like when reality hits and I leave him next week!
I'd better run, but *mwah* to Julia and Amber! BBL to chat...
My cute Maddi story
I went to get my blood test Monday & of course Maddi is telling my everything i have to do.
The lady was impressed with her lol
Anyway we are walking to the car & our convo goes. Maddi- Mumma i'm so proud of you. Me- Why? Maddi- you didn't cry, your a very brave girl & when we go home i'll give you a treat.
She is so cute & i love the things she comes up.
Kodi always cracks me up
She loves climbing on things and then yelling out "Daddy help me' I stuck" Then laughing when he comes to rescue her lol
She walks up to you & Goes "I stinky" & waves her hand under her nose.
Mo - Your girls are FAR to adorable, no wonder you went back for another . How are you feeling so far? Any m/s?
Amber - Oooh, what's this about living arrangements??? Stop being so mysterious haha! What's it like getting a 3 year old into kinder/pre-school in QLD? I had to put J & K on the 3 year old kinder list when they were 2! It's so crazy!!
Only one more day left of school hols for us thank goodness! I love having J home, but he is starting to go stir crazy now and he and K are fighting more. They need a break from one another! I went to a small BB meet up this morning at a park, it was really nice to get out of the house.
K is going well, he's such a cute little guy. He's super-excited about starting kinder. J was teasing him yesterday calling him a baby and K said, "I'm not a baby, baby's don't go to kinder!" heehee, so cute!
Alana is going great, she's getting lots of teeth all at once which has been a bit annoying, but most of the time she's cheery and happy. Today she was playing outside and saw a dried up worm, she called out "Mum, nake!" She thought it was a snake . I didn't even know she knew how to say "snake" (or close to it), let alone be able to identify one (well, kind of haha!). She then went and played with our dog and said, "Mum, doggy stick" and held up the stick the dog was trying to get her to throw. I said "Yes, it's the doggy stick, you are a clever girl!" and she replied "Yeah!" hahaha! It spins me out the things she comes out with!
Anyway, I guess I'd better go and bring the washing in *sigh*. Love to all xxx
In melb till next Wed. Then back on April for almost 5 months?! Can't fly past 34 weeks, have a wedding at 32 weeks in Melb, and won't take baby back to PNG without immunizations, so that's another 2 months. I'll be sick of my folks by then?!
What a clever cookie Max is Yules. Lu can write Lu, but kinda looks like a wonky L and a kinda smile. But I know what it says.
So a ****tail and pastry bar on the beach in Melbourne boomba?!
Trish I meant to tell you how adorable A is when I saw you at catani. She is too cute. Sorry I didn't get a chance to chat more.
Mo I cracked up at the thought of you tackling me!
So is everyone sending their Billy lids to kinder this week? I feel a bit out of it not doing so! Poor deprived child i have.
I've been hiding under a rock and missed out on all the news.
So congratulations Mo and Ange on your pregnancies! Hoping (the rest) of your pregnancies are healthy and happy.
Lochie has been in kindy for about a month now. He has made huge progress with TT and his language skills are advancing well. He is such a little boy now. Still throws mega tantrums about the strangest things (like DH driving and not me???), but also have some amazing conversations with him.
Immi is growing up too quickly. She is now in Junior Toddlers at daycare and from all accounts she is going well. She is very clingy of me at the moment which makes leaving her of a morning difficult. Trish - is Alana going through this stage too? Immi is still big for her age. Taking her for her vaxs soon so I'll see what the Dr says. Actually we think she may be slimming down a bit. She is her mother's daughter and has an obsession with shoes, especially mine and we constantly find shoes scattered around the house or her trying to walk with DH's shoe on one foot and L's on the other.
AFM - I started a new job last week. Really enjoying the change of environment and colleagues. As part of the job got an iPhone. Not totally addicted to it yet, but I could if given enough time. Also, thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes yesterday. DH reckons I work with morons as despite giving over my DOB at least 4 times in the last week including my actual birth certificate on my actual birthday no one acknowledged it was my birthday. Anyway, got heaps of love from my friends so who needs them!
Anyway, getting late and I have MG in the morning to prepare for. I'll try to pop in more often.
Popping back in as I just read in the last thread about Uncle Amy. I knew about Lulu but I didn't make the connection that Amy was Uncle Amy. WOW! Terribly sad. Belated hugs to everyone who knew Lulu and Amy.
