Nikki glad the kids are feeling better, Yeah on CHantelle counting to 5. Hope your get some good study in.
Cindy tuppaware does sell itself which is good. Glad you are getting good party bookings. Painting sounds fun. I should really invest in something like that for Jordan.
Krisite LOL at Louis knowing car names, what a little boy.
Melissa I hope you all start to feel better soon
Rachel Bugger about flooding the laundry, I have done that a few times.
Well today we had photo day at playgroup and Jordan wasnt himseld. He was so clingy so we really didnt get any shots of him, Oh well. He was feeling a little hot and when we got home I realised his temp was 38.8 !!!! So I gave him some panadol and stripped him off. I have had to rock him to sleep twice now, he only slept for 40 mins. I am hoping he will sleep better now and feel better tonight.
I think I may stay home with him tomorrow as I want to make sure he is well for our trip. I couldnt handle him sick on the plan and in a strange place. Its so awful for everyone.
Well I have broken the 2 coke rule and already on my 2nd so will be 3 today I think. Oh well once in a blue moon wont hurt.
Got all waxed this morning, Brilliant, all neat and tidy.
Gotta get this house organised before we go away. Take care everyone
snap Tracey, I was just about to post that Milo has been off colour today and having temps, mums given him 2 doses of panadol since 7am. He woke up really hot last night and I had to give him some then as stripping him was not helping to cool him down at all.
He's been soaking through his nappies, grobag and through to the sheets at night lately too, so I've just bought some night nappies (cloth) and a stack of other clothies today, and we will try that route again.
ouchy at the waxing. I got a bikini was when I was pg, but thats the only one. DH wants me to get a brazilian, but I'm scared and told him I will if he will LOL.
Tracey - are you working? I can't remember. Darlings Downunder (cloth nappy site) want someone near taylors lakes (you're not too far from there are you?) part time a few hours a day, 2-3 days a week.. not sure what its doing..
Rachel I hope Milo is feeling better. Good on you for trying cloth nappies. I am working but thanks for letting me know anyway.
I borrowed some cloth nappies off a friend today and when I put the filler in there was no way they would do up, Jordan is too big for them LOL. I think I will stick with disposable. We only have a few more months hopefully in nappies.
I have taken tomorrow of work to look after Jordan I hope he is better tomorrow and we get a good night sleep. He only slept for 40 mins this afternoon, he was quite good considering.
Have a great night everyone
I think Milo might have another ear infection.
he seems close to TT for daytime, but night time is potentially years away based on family history. Its a 40% chance he will follow suit, let hope he takes after me!
just got back from my exam,it was really hard and i only knew the answers to about a quater of the questions,i am so disapointed,i literally had to guess 27 out of 50 multiple choice questions with absolutly no idea what they were about.it was like playing pin the tail on the donkey, there were alot of short answer questions,i answered them all but very vaigly, they said that if we didnt pass we will get a phone call by this friday to resit it next wednesday, fingers crossed that the phone doesnt ring.
nikki
Nikki I hope the phone doesnt ring also. If it does you atleast have an idea of what you need to revise though. I am sure you did well though.
Well Jordan is better today, he had a really junky eye this morning when he woke up and it was weepy for a while. The girl across the road has conjunctavitis so I think Jordan caught that off her over the weekend. D'OH. He seems better today, lets hope he sleeps better aswell. Last night he slept in summer PJs with only 1 sheet and he still sweat, pott munchkin.
Bought fathers day pressie, 2 dvds for Jamie and then trackie and a jacket for me to take away with us. I so dont own really warm clothes.
Tidied up this morning, will mop tomorrow i think and then pack. Maybe I will do some today???
Hope you all having a nice day
XX
I had no idea what to get Neil for fathers day.
So he decided to just buy something for himself (without telling me first) and spent about 3 times what I'd budgeted
I hope Jordan is feeling better Tracey. Milo sometimes gets a weepy eye when his ears are playing up.
Had a full on last couple of days with training Mon and Tues night. Got my kit last night so am very excited!!! The products are sooo nice!
Anyway...Dylans screamed for Michael both nights - he's going through a little funny stage at the moment but at least he seems to be sleeping a little better. Louis is good! Such a little character. Had a day at home today which was nice and actually got my housework done! woohoo!! It was soo disgraceful...hehe.
Rachael - Oh no with the cream everywhere! At least you floors would have got a clean with the laundry flooding (got to look at the positive right??
Poor Milo - hope he's feeling better too. Thats no good with the night time nappies - hope the clothe ones help! LOL on the brazilian - wouldn't we love to see a guy get it done - I don't think they have any concept on how much it hurts. In saying that though I used to get it done. I think it's great! Not for him though - just for me! hehe.
Won't it be great when they bubs are toilet trained!!!
Aren't men hopeless??? Michael always gets bigger presents than me - they just seem to like big expensive toys I think!!!
Cindy - I've got quite a few interested people in Tupperware...not sure how many people coming to the party yet though...My aunties not coming but still placing an order though so hopefully we can get some good sales! I'll try my hardest - LOL! It really is great stuff though - most people are excited to buy it which is great!
Sounds like you had a great weekend!! Hehe I gave up on cleaning years ago! hehe. It's overrated! Not that I've got out and done heaps with Louis lately either...I've got so much stuff for him but we don't have the time to play with it half the time!!
Hope you got time to sit out in the sun and relax!
Melissa - you poor thing dealing with the sick boys!! Hope they're on the mend!!
Nikki - Glad you had a good weekend! Wow - what a clever girl counting to 5!!!
Glad the kids are feeling good!!
Big hugs Nikki! I'm sure you'll have done fine!!! At least you can resit it even if you didn't do as well as you hoped. Sorry...here I am texting you today and you were probably all anxious...
Wow - Grants getting super spoiled!!!
Tracey - Poor Jordan...hope he's feeling better. Yeah at getting waxed!! God I really must start to do something like that again!! So slack. I think I'm going to get gel nails as well...I think it will look nice when I'm doing the parties and everyone looks at my hands! hehe.
Ooh how exciting packing for your holiday!!! Glad you're all organised.
I got Michael a couple of Pink dvd's for fathers day but I really want to get him a Wii remote and game....the pack they do seems to have sold out of everywhere I've been though - grrr....
Hey Cindy - can you PM me the details for the party on Saturday so I can figure out how to get there? thanks!
Well, big meeting at creche was tongiht. there were mums crying and everything. the director was there, the CEO of the company, and someone else, not sure who she was. I actually feel sorry for the director now having to work for that woman. ugh my skin crawls just thinking about it.
Not confident anything will come of it but will have to wait and see. they sure got a better turnout than they were anticipating though, we had to swap to a different room.
Rachel what was the creche meeting about? Why were people crying, that sounds full on.
Krisite great news on getting your kit. Its great you like the products that will help heaps. Poor Michael having Dylan cry whilst you are out. I guess he is going thru a "mummy" phase at the moment. Jordan went thru a daddy phase for a while and it was awful. I hated it.
Nikki WOW Grant is spoilt.
Well Jamie took today off as he couldnt be bothered LOL He has taken Jordan with him to his mums, they are organising last minute stuff. I am here cleaning the house (well I have finished it now). Hopefully it will stay clean thru out the day and tomorrow (we are both at work) so should be ok.
So excited now, Its really close now.
Just talking to my GF about 3 year old kinder. Are any of you going to send your kids to 3 year old kinder? They cant go till next, next year but I am not sure what I will do.
no phone call yet......
harry had his immuniastion yesterday and so is a bit out of soughts,it was very late because he was always unwell to have it,i was dreading giving it to him simply cos i dont want him to be unwell again but it had to be done,he is not too bad, just a temp and sore legs.
kristie,i can book you in for a party, what day were you hoping for,did you want to do day or evening, week day or weekend, let me know i am pretty flexible
nikki
I only did 4yo kinder.
If Milo is at creche when he is 3 he'll do 3yo kinder or same for 4. I will hopefully be on m/l for one of those years though and then he can go to real kindy.
I'm looking at it ATM, becuase as far as I can tell we have no council 3yo kinder program in my area.
Tracey - lots of issues with creche, I have a thread about it in the Childcare/kinder forum. rosters/sleeprooms/continuity of care etc.
I'm going to put his name down at one or 2 other centres unless things pick up, and or he is moved to the next age group room (which should have happened 3 months ago but its full) pretty soon, everywhere has a wait list now in my area.
To add to this, one of his teachers (my fabourite one) resigned this week.
Nikki - good luck I hope you don't get the phone call.
